✓ BrilliantFor the price it’s excellent. I used it for the first time today for 5 short trips and the video quality is very good and mine was set on low settings. A good sturdy phone holder is recommended to stop vibrations. You can choose to have sound on or off, choose front or back camera, map to show where you have been during playback. Perhaps an update so you can choose to use both front and back cameras at the same time would be handy. I’m not sure what would happen if I get a phone call Whilst the app is in use. ✓ Truck driverI use this on an old iPhone 5s in my 18 wheeler and it works great! A glitch every now and then but exit restart fixes every time! 600 miles of driving easily stored and deleted if not needed! ✓ Ok for iphoneUnderstanding the limitations of ios, I cannot fault the app for not being able to record in the background/auto start on charge. This would solve the battery consumption issue. Otherwise, it works well, with the exception of orientation. If you are already moving and open the app, orientation sticks in landscape. If there was a small time delay to allow the orientation to change before recording starts, it may solve this issue..Version: 4.4.5

✓ Works wellIt’s got all the functions as my stand alone dash cam but better as play back is instant and on a big screen. I noticed a review saying “can’t read the number plates of moving cars” also that it wouldn’t be any good in an insurance dispute. You can’t really read any number plates on high end dash cams. If you have a good phone it’s likely to be better than any dash cam, if you want to read a number plate just pause the video and you should be able to read it. I have an old iPhone 5 so that will be my dedicated dash cam. Well done great app!!.Version: 4.7.8
✓ Very good up with plenty of room for improvementThis is a great APP. I some feedback: The map in one of my video appear only for a few seconds. It did record via the camera but for some reason the map only appeared for about 30 seconds of a 20min video. I would like to see the ability to mute and unmute the microphone while the app is recording. I would like to see the ability to flip the camera while the app is recording OR have the ability to record both cameras on the iPhone at the same time. I would like to see the ability to adjust the map resolution for the purposes of recording the map overlay..Version: 5.0.3
✓ FANTASTIC!! Bought it without hesitation!I usually do not purchase apps because you know, I’m a poor college student (cliche but true.) but I bought this one without hesitation. This app is FANTASTIC!! I downloaded the free version yesterday that I was on a road trip. After using the free version for 5 hours on the road, I reviewed the video quality, the map accuracy, sound quality, speed accuracy, and everything was just right. Though I could have still used the free version just fine, I decided to buy it to support the developers. Great job guys keep it up!!.Version: 4.4.6
✓ Works great !This app works far better than the last 5 failed dash cams I have purchased over the years . It’s really clear and the functions are easy to use . One thing that should be mentioned is that the “After a car accident “ section says to call 911. The internet is worldwide and the American emergency number doesn’t work outside that country . Unfortunately someone has died in Australia trying to call an ambulance on 911 when it’s 000 here. Also 999 in the UK and 112 in some others . Common sense isn’t that common sometimes sadly. Perhaps this could be changed in the instructions to “ Your countries emergency number “ ? I am still reviewing the app for free but will probably purchase the full version soon..Version: 5.0.8

✓ No need to buy a dash camI never write reviews so doing this means that it really gave me a great impression. I had been searching for a wireless dash cams and have not been successful in finding one that can be recharged. This app gives you all the functionality of a Dash Cam and you can still use your phone to Bluetooth music in your car. Although recording stops if you take a phone call, I don’t have a problem with that and at least I don’t need a separate piece of equipment to hardwire to my vehicle. there are a lott good features even with the standard version but I think I’ll upgrade pretty soon..Version: 5.2.16

✓ AwesomeI use this as a dedicated dash cam with my old iPhone SE it’s absolutely brilliant play back is amazing and you can read number plates I have it on 720p at 60 frames per second i’m going to try different settings as you get a slightly wider field of view on lower quality, even on a night playback is quite clear as expected you can’t read number plates, I am a taxi driver and I find this valuable in my job I also use voice recording on it for the price of the Full version I found it a really good purchase compared to some dash Cams on the market, I now know what to do with my old iPhones ☺️ well done to the developers it would be nice if you could have front and rear facing at the same time for recording.Version: 5.0.3

✓ Great appThank you for this app, I have wanted a dash cam for some time but the money it costs is prohibitive... don’t think this is the place to give feedback for changes but I’m not sure where to put it, so I’ll place it here... one change i would suggest is an option to record from both cameras simultaneously... allowing an interaction with police to be recorded if I am accused of something like not wearing a seatbelt or something then the camera will show what happened.Version: 5.1.9

I have it set to max time on my iPhone. It won't delete or overwritr when memory is full. but I have 64gb and it lasts a good while before I have to make space. ✓ Love It!I use this on my 2016 Wrangler with a Rugged Ridge dash mount and it works great. I thought there was a problem with it at first because it would fill up the 1 gig space I had allotted. Turns out that if you have “lock video on impact” turned on in settings, and have a low impact setting, every bump and jolt will lock the video loop and start another. When you use up the space you have allotted, the oldest videos will not automatically delete, as they should, because they have been “locked due to impact”. I just turned “lock on impact” off entirely and have had zero issues since..Version: 4.6.7

✓ Bring back recording in GPS backgroundThis dash cam app works very well. I love all the updates but there is one feature that has been removed. Before an update, the dash app used to record in the background while using a GPS app. After an update, it no longer does this. It stops recording when I switch over to the GPS app. Sometimes I need to have the GPS on-screen but still want the dash app recording in the background. ✓ Great AppThis app is stellar! The full version is fantastic! This speedometer on the screen while you’re driving and recording is large enough to read, you can also set speed limit alerts. The loop recording is perfect. Also a great way to repurpose an old phone if you’re upgrading so long as you have iOS capability and all you have to download and place on dashboard no need to buy expensive dash cams and go through complicated wiring. ✓ Seriously impressedI was just about ready to buy a $100 dash cam. I’d searched the app store in the past and found nothing remotely decent. I decided to try again and downloaded a few. The first couple I tried were garbage and full of ads. This one is great. Decent resolution, speedometer, in app gps that’s actually pretty good. Auto start and stop video, impact detection. Video records speed and time stamp and you can overlay map so you can see where video is recorded. Upload video to YouTube or drop box etc right from the phone. Also it would be good to be able to turn the mic on an off when the Dash Cam is being used, also when you receive a phone call the app stops filming which is a shame, would be a big improvement if it carried on filming while you receive a phone call! Took a while for me to tinker with the settings and get what I wanted out of it- high resolution recordings, speed recording etc, but after it was done it was awesome. Am considering buying the full version! A really old dashcam app!! I also like the fact that the playback is in the correct resolution, I’ve got another app that seems to stretch the video when it records from a horizontal position. **Update: keeps randomly recording 2 second video clips. This seem to only happen when I am fwy speeds. If I am doing 50, app says I am doing 60. Focusing is a bit problematic as well.
