✓ Can’t get back to basic schedule viewWhen it works, it is decent. But I clicked a notification and it took me into some kind of filtered view - and now I can’t see the schedule at all. Even killing the app does nothing. For $12 I’d hope to at least be able to see the schedule..Version: 3.6.2

✓ What are they thinking?$10 for the app? Really? Why would anyone charge for a mobile app that improves and extends the quality of its service offering? Aren't referees and game officials almost by definition mobile? Wouldn't the organizations this company caters to want their game officials on time, in the right locations, and notified of anti last minute changes? After reading the reviews, I didn't want to pay for something with such poor customer feedback. Maybe if Arbiter gave this software away and had a larger mass of users, they would have incentive to build a better solution. ✓ AwfulIncorrect game times. App freezing and kicking me out. Unable to see assigned games. Blocks disappearing despite never being removed. This app needs some serious work. Not to mention the constant shutdowns in order to “fix” the many issues although they never seem to change. Now, I’ve been signed out of the app without doing so manually, and my sign in fails every time. I know I’m putting in the correct information because when I sign in on the website it works fine. I can’t even reset the password by sending it to my email. This is a major problem and has caused many issues for my boss, me, and my many co-workers..Version: 3.8.0
✓ Getting closerApp functionality is getting better, once you are logged in. Login process needs some overhaul. TouchID and loading saved passwords are in need of attention. Not as user friendly or efficient as other apps. It is frustrating as a user if you don't know how this particular app behaves or is different from the vast majority of applications. As a resource. ✓ Loves making me sign inDude, WHY must I constantly sign in? "Your session has expired, please enter your entire email and password again because if someone stole and broke into your phone Arbiter is your biggest worry." No other app is this ridiculous, even my bank app holds my email. Don't blame my phone, it's not the phone. Otherwise the app is pretty good..Version: 3.6.2
✓ Extremely DisappointingThe app is basically useless. List of grievances: -Can't see which officials have been assigned to work with me. -Doesn't show the name of the ballpark I'm scheduled to work at. It only shows the town and the postal code (for one park it showed the full address, but only for the one). -I can see notes for games but I can't add or edit any notes. -Can't edit my own profile through the app. -Can't edit or even see my blocked dates and times. -No function to sync my schedule to phone calendar. -No function to send me push notifications and disable email notifications for new assignments and game reminders. Bugs: -Directory usually doesn't load at all and is extremely slow if it does. -Calendar view won't load. Just shows blank screen and then goes back to list view. (iPhone 5S, iOS 9.2) If I had paid the subscription fee, I'd be angry and requesting a refund. As it is, I think my association wasted a ton of money paying for all their officials to use the app. The money could have been put to much better use, so I'm still angry about that..Version: 1.0.24
✓ This app is terribleWorst app of all time. I work in IT and have had my fair share of bad apps. But this one is down right unusable. It has not been updated in 2 years that is unacceptable. Blocking off dates is broken. Takes 6 or 7 tries before it actually saves the block..Version: 3.8.0
✓ Still barely useful.App is FAR too slow. Takes several minutes to update schedule. No access to team contact information. Still need to try to use web page if you need to reach the coach at last minute. Come to think of it, the Arbiter as a whole is a piece of crap. ✓ Awful Platform/LayoutFor $8.99, this is a joke. I feel like I’m being swindled out of money for it. The web browser is free and when we pay out of pocket for everything else as officials, this kind of service should remain free or a one-time (not annual) fee, to help us out with our costs to work these games, pay the state and pay our assignors. Aesthetically this looks like it was thrown together in 3 hours. No thought in maneuverability or care into user friendliness. ✓ P.O.S.This is probably the worst app that I have to have on my phone. It never remembers my passwords and constantly logs me out. It’s amazingly slow for how simple the app is. If I do need to send a password recovery request I have to go to the website. I don’t know why I have the app if everything I need to do I can only do on the website. Overall it’s just garbage. ✓ Micro transactions that makes EA look generousPay wall up front that requires a subscription... for something I use on the internet. I know that allowing mobile for free would probably help assignees get there games out faster and get quicker responses if it was free. You can simply just put a banner ad from Google admob and make enough money to make this free, then allow a purchase to remove them. ✓ HorribleThe app performs horribly. If it did what it was supposed to do on a consistent basis it would be super-helpful. I’m very glad I only used a gift card to pay for it and not my actual money. It crashes regularly. Sometimes it shows zero assignments or blocks on the app despite having previously shown lots of assignments or blocks. The in app messaging/email system is a joke. It shows unread messages for days despite having looked at the messages. The only thing I’m happy about with the app is the iCal function which automatically imports game assignments from Arbiter to the calendar on your phone. Not worth the money. I would suggest charging schools/associations 10 cents more and earn enough to redo the app and make it free for all users..Version: 3.6.5

✓ EXPENSIVE!Great idea! I have been looking for something mobile from Arbiter for a while. I'm very techy so this is great. However, there are many issues. I downloaded the app under the impression that it was free. After the download I was lead to another screen telling me to pay $9.99 for use! After thinking about it for a while I decided to download the paid version, but you do not get what you pay for. I think that there should be an area showing who your partners are and a link for their contact information. I think that you should also be able to access maps directly from the app so that you can navigate to whatever school or stadium address is listed. You should be able to see what location you are going to (i.e 'Madison High School'). All the important things that you have access to online, that are vital to your game assignments and you getting there, should be readily available on the app. You simply cannot ask someone to pay such a large amount of money for so little. Again it's a great idea, but too glitchy and not worth the buy. Hoping that with updates it will drastically improve (seeing as how I've already spent my money)..Version: 1.0.24

✓ Not UsefulHow can the people building this application put this out with the obvious lack of usability? Blocks don’t show up on the Calendar until you change a view (like go forward a month and then back)? Why is it so cumbersome to remove a block? I have 2 different accounts and the app can’t keep the state (which account I’m logged into) correct. Eventually it catches up. Now all me games and blocks are just gone. None. ✓ What Happened?I have been using Arbiter mobile for almost a year. Finding it convenient and worth the expense. But just like another review, my calendar is suddenly gone. With the basketball season coming up and 13 games already assigned, I am so disappointed. I am now working through free online service off my computer. Games have been uploaded to my iCalendar, linked through my iCloud to my iPhone iCalendar. To note I have been able to accept games on my mobile device and then the game disappears. The is nothing on my ArbiterMobile App calendar since late last week. What the heck..Version: 3.6.2

✓ Why do I have to hit the green check mark 20 times for it to registerThe app freezes up and when I go to accept a game I have to select the green check mark multiple times before it registers. I have tried selecting it once for accepting and once when the contract comes up but it never registers. It should take just a few seconds to accept games but has taken up to 5 minutes. How hard is that to correct. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled and have upgraded phones with same issue. This has been going on for at least 3 years. ✓ Very buggy$10 for an app that doesn’t work and is very buggy. Game schedules disappear, even when I know I have a game. It will send you multiple notifications on one thing and when you click on that notification, it takes you nowhere but a blank screen. ✓ Good idea, but needs refinementFor people that are complaining that you have to purchase something, that is true, but in order to have the mobile friendly version of arbiter outside of the app you have to purchase it anyways. It's $18 for 3 years I think. That's like a third of a game fee, if that. There needs to be a section in the games schedule where you see who your partners are and have that clickable so that you can contact them directly from there. Glitchy when moving from menu to menu sometimes. Needs to have back button navigation on all the screens as well. Good start to the app and needs to be updated with some changes, but I think it will get to the point where it will function well..Version: 1.0.24

✓ Not worth the priceThis is unfortunate, the app is semi convenient but with the continuous bugs and errors that occur, makes it hard to give it more than one Star. This app needs to be handed over to a company that can make it run smoothly and have it be reliable. It will crash and have me re login every day. One day I got continuous notifications that my assignor was sending out emails to our group but it was the same email from 7:00am. It was a bit annoying since I am in meetings through the day and my watch and phone vibrate the notification from the app. This app should be free unless it offers a more reliable commutation to our organization.
