✓ Search?My only problem with this app is that you can't search for a book on it. Like if I've heard of a book from a friend, I can't find it easily. There should really be a way to search for books on BookBub. It would make things a lot easier..Version: 1.1.2

✓ Notifications no longer work.I loved getting to see what new books were on sale every day but the notifications no longer seem to work. I’ve turned them on and turned them back on, logged out of my account, deleted the app and reinstalled, and nothing seems to work..Version: 1.3.8
✓ No iPad versionWhy would I want to look for books on my iPhone when I have a lovely iPad? Since this app does not have an iPad version (with landscape mode), it's useless to me. I'll stick with the daily emails on my PC..Version: 1.3.9

✓ So Disappointed ):I wish the app was more like the website. I love how you can follow authors on the website. The website is so user friendly and the app is very limited. I got the app and deleted and re downloaded it but now I rely why I got rid of it. Also I wish it worked for the kindle app and not just iBook. It could even be link with goodreads some how. ✓ Ok for deals, but…This app is fine but it would be nice if I could see my purchased books from the app instead of having to log into the website. It’s fine for browsing the deals, but there’s so much functionality missing from the app that the website has, and logging into a website is awkward on mobile. That being said, BookBub still hasn’t changed the iBooks issue on mobile where it’s the only choice when you select a book, and I see reviews from 4 years ago with the same complaint…so I’m not thinking they take reviews into account..Version: 1.3.9
✓ JjjhThis stupid app and site keeps showing me categories and genres I don’t care about, and when I search for a specific book that I am certain is on kindle, it cannot find it. Keeps showing me these stupid novels and romances trash, and the “popular bestsellers”. In a word, everything I don’t care about, except the very specific books I want.Version: 1.3.8

✓ Supports Apple Books onlyI read on a Kindle and even though this app claims to support other formats, it only allows the book to be opened in Apple Books. However, the daily emails I’ve been getting from the website, will open all books on Kindle. This app needs to be fixed to support Kindle..Version: 2.4.19

✓ BrokenThis was one of my favorite apps, but for the past 4 days it keeps telling me that there is an error on their end and to try back in a few minutes. I tried downloading on another device, but it did the same thing. I can’t even log in to the desktop version. ✓ Good start, but...👎 There are far too many functions that kick you out of the app to the website to make this app useful. 👎 "Get Deal" takes you to Apple Books. This should function like the website and provide a menu to choose where to purchase every time. ✓ Not bad!Like this app lots of good books/deals. I just wish they had wider or more specific selection process. It bugs me that they only have history not ancient then the modern stuff broken down into centuries. Also they only have LGBT. I'd like to see this broke down into each group. ✓ Good, but could use moreI've been using the app for about a month now. I like it and have not had any technical issues, but I think it could use some more features. It would be nice if you could see on the main page when deals will expire, a way to categorize the offers available (e.g. Search by "thriller"), and a way to mark which offers you've taken advantage of as I've noticed that they occasionally repeat. I would also like to see a way to mark offers you've looked at already; a "read" feature similar to what email programs offer after you've opened a new message. Again, I like the app, and will continue to use it, but some enhancements would be nice..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Gave 1 star as minus stars aren’t an optionApp is awful. Not easy to navigate, no search function to find fave authors. App is supposed to recommend authors to you, why not start by allowing you to add your faves. If this function is available already then it’s not easily found. ✓ Constantly enables all filtersThis and the previous release broke the filter settings. I used to be able to open the app and see just the genres I’m interested in, but the app removes my prefs and auto selects all genres repeatedly multiple times a day. Can’t help but feel this is by design. If they don’t fix it in the next update, I’ll delete the app..Version: 2.4.9
✓ Only iBooks for iPhone appI find this to be very unfortunate, I really have come to enjoy bookbub in my years of using it. However I mostly read on my kindle and when I’m not on my kindle I am using the kindle app on my iPhone. This app however only allows for the download of iBooks it will not connect you to the kindle book store like the daily or weekly emails would. I was thrilled that an app was available because it cut down on my emails but the app is so severely limited I may switch back to emails. If you are an avid reader using mostly kindle/kindle app or even nook this app is not for you. I am hoping that in the future they add support for kindle and other mediums like they do via email. Until then this app is not useful for me unless I feel like downloading a free iBooks that I am interested in..Version: 1.3.4
✓ Can't get into AccountI've tried logging since I've had an online account before using the app. But it won't let me in. I as well tried resetting my password but it keeps saying that my email isn't an valid email account. With that being said I tried creating an account, but then it says this email is already being used. It'd be nice if someone could help me as I don't think the app is running properly for that. ✓ Good but...I really like the idea of the app, but I have to use the website to be able to choose the option for kindle. If I use the app it tried to make me use iBooks. It also doesn’t tell you if the book you’re getting is in the middle of a series until it’s too late and your getting your purchase confirmation. Not a huge deal as I tend to stick to the free books, but still kinda annoying that I have to wait until I have time to start a new series to read the books I got..Version: 1.3.4

✓ LayoutI REALLY liked the layout of the app before. I could scroll thru each book, read a synopsis and see the genre all on the same face without clicking on each book. ✓ Use The Web SiteAfter I bought my new iPad I downloaded this BB app in the App Store. I seem to be unable to search for a certain book without having to browse through many books. Why can I review books on BB using my kindle fire and not on my iPad with this app. I even contacted help support and it seems you can’t pinpoint what you’re looking for when using this app. I deleted the app and found the BB website and my profile came up with all my book reviews. Better to use the Website. You get to browse books there too plus a lot more. This app lacks in so many ways!.Version: 1.3.9

✓ The app forces all filters to be active despite user preferencesPerhaps my previous review about the broken filter system was not clear. The developer instructed me how to use filters in response, COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTANDING that my complaint was that the filter settings aren't saved anymore. Thanks for the pedantic reply. BookBub resets the filter settings now. It didn't used to function this way. I can only assume that the app deliberately resets the filters in a lame attempt to get me to buy outside my prefered genres. Prior to Summer 2023, filter settings were saved between sessions. Now they are reset—meaning that the app reenables ALL filters each time I take time to only select a few. I bought at least a book every week with BookBub. Now I deleted the app. I don't buy any deals from BookBub at all. But please explain to me again how to use your filter settings..Version: 2.4.14
