Complete Anatomy 2024 for Positive User Reviews

Nearly perfectThis has helped so much when studying anatomy, and is honestly perfect for medical students. The only complaint I have is that when switching between back and forth between apps as I tend to do when studying and taking notes, the app has a tendency of crashing and starting over. Kinda annoying when you have to reorient the body and remove the parts you don’t need. Would HIGHLY recomend, but would love if the developers could fix this problem,.Version: 4.0.3

Awesome appThis is the best anatomy app I have ever come across, works flawlessly and adds so much to my knowledge of human anatomy. The way we can see motion of muscles and so many other features are unmatchable. I am hooked to it since I bought it and studying anatomy is way more satisfying now 😃. Great efforts 3D 4 Medical team 👍🏻, keep on enlightening us with more updates and additions , all the best😊..Version: 1.2.2

Wonderful and terrificI love learning about body parts so much 🥇🏅🎖🥳🥳🥳🥳.Version: 6.5.0

Fantastic app for coachesI’m a triathlon coach and I use this app regularly to understand athlete injuries and help apply strength programs..Version: 5.2.5

Very good app, some mistakes includedI downloaded this app three day ago and tried 3 days for free. I took my ipad with me to the anatomy lecture to see if it can help. And It did help me a lot. We had a test at the end of the lecture and I wouldn’t solve it if I didn’t have this app. And that what made me think to subscribe to it, even though I hate subscription. But there were some mistakes in the nervous system. As we took in Anatomy lecture, A branch of ulnar nerve should pass through the pisohamate ligament, but in the app it was above it. Idk if this is a bug or intentional. Idk if there are other mistakes in nervous system or other systems because We are not that far into anatomy yet. I hope they revise the app to fix the bugs or mistakes found in it. The app doesn’t show the name of joints like elbow joint, carpometacarpal joint, shoulder joint,...et. I wish there was a layer for body joints. I know they are easy, but that would help beginner in anatomy like me. Thank you..Version: 6.4.0

Fantastic, Easy to use, great for teachingWords can’t express how grateful I am to the exquisitely detailed drawings, and tool, that allow cutaways, zoom, and the full 360 degree rotation of views. Terrific for the newcomer to anatomy, and unrivaled for the experienced health care provider, student, teachers, physical therapists, chiropractors, and the list goes on. I teach childbirth and sex education from the cells outward..system by system.. You have made my job infinitely easier, and I no longer have to rely on my own funky diagrams, slide shows cobbled together, and my haphazard whiteboard drawings. Bravo!!! This is outstanding! Only caveat..... default state to male setting is lame, and 19th century. One should be able to choose at the start of current use, which gender one wants. That is a minor fix, and I am sure it will come soon..Version: 3.3

Very useful appAs a patient I have found this app very useful to understand procedures and rehab from them. Also helps with exercise. A very professional app, good graphic and animation controls. Well thought out and implemented..Version: 2.0.1

Sports Science PE StudentI am getting great grades in my kinesiology subject at uni and this app is largely responsible. Has given me a way to visualise what's going on in relation to origins and insertions of muscles, bony landmarks and joints. By now being able to visualise these structures if I get stumped on a question in an assessment or exam I can make an educated guess to improve my test scores. Never felt so prepared and confident for assessments through utilising this resource..Version: 2.5.1

Good gameIt’s really good but it take so long the download but it’s so good of a game when it’s done downloading. You should try it out..Version: 8.7.0

Great but lacks featuresSuch a good app for any visual learner, but lacks the ability to view a cross section of the brain which for this price I feel you should be able to do. Other than that it’s amazing and has definitely helped me..Version: 5.2.3

Great Learning ToolThis is a fantastic learning platform, the detailed structures and systems make studying and understanding a breeze. It's making my studying so much easier, with more features all the time and lectures within the app it's a great addition to anyone's study tools..Version: 2.1.0

THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ANATOMY APPI am really enjoying using Complete Anatomy. As a student, it’s invaluable. Its quiz tool in particular is an excellent way to test yourself and I can even create my own questions! Must have app!.Version: 1.2.2

Fantastic!Greatest anatomy app of all time! Would love a portrait mode, though. Far more practical for studying on public transport, and for using whilst carrying around on hospital rounds, etc. (and I find it more comfortable and less awkward in general)..Version: 2.0.0

One of the best!Although, I am not a medical professional, I am finding this app to be one of the best utilizations of the iPad technology. It is an incredibly powerful tool..Version: 2.5.1

Great appI used this app for a few years and can confidently say that it’s a great app for learning human anatomy. Yes, sometimes there were issues, but a simple rebooting fixed it. Whenever I had to continue support, I received prompt response. The only reason I cancelled my subscription was the $99 price (one time, not annual), which is not expensive but out of my budget at this time. I will be back soon. Thank you for the great work.Version: 9.1.0

PhenomenalI purchased this app after using, and being impressed by, the older 3D4 skeletal and muscle system apps. I am blown away at how useful this thing is. I am not a doctor; my official account status is “Enthusiast”. I have found this extremely useful for consultation with my physician; I can go into a system and see what the doctor is actually talking about and have a base understanding of the nomenclature. When my doctor saw it, she freaked out; she said they don’t have anything this good. It has increased my understanding of body systems immeasurably. Also, I work and travel to rural China regularly, where health care, by any Western standard, is nonexistent. I can keep tabs on myself to understand if there is anything I need to go to a city to deal with. Additionally, customer support is excellent. I had a couple issues, they were handled within 24 hours with emails that were written by actual humans that understood what I was asking and provided immediate answers and solutions. Jonathan and Nicole were both extremely helpful. If you’re on the fence about which anatomy app to purchase, this is the one for the time being..Version: 3.4

Brilliant app.Finding new and surprising features to use all the time. Worth the money..Version: 5.1.1

Need split screen modeThe app has almost everything I want in an anatomy app. Just one thing it doesn't have, a split screen mode. I wanna use this app alongside my lecture notes. Please add this feature to the app..Version: 2.0.1

Great app, but has bugsThis is such a wonderful app for learning anatomy. The amount of detail is so impressive- I truly don't know if I would even pass anatomy without it. However, it has been really annoying me recently because after five minutes of usage the app freezes and I have to reload it. I hope this can be fixed soon!.Version: 9.7.0

Great tool to learn human anatomyOverall, this is a good app to learn conceptual anatomy. It is obviously not as realistic as a cadaver, however, it does provide an overview of how anatomical structures overlay one another. It is also extremely useful, when I teach anatomy to students, trying to display the 3D relationship between structures and how they correlates in different planes or views. The tools this app contain are somewhat useful but I dont really use it all the time. Nevertheless, I highly recommend to whoever wants to learn 3D anatomy to use this app. It's not that expensive considering what it provides and I have not regretted getting this app until now..Version: 1.2.2

AmazingThis app is really cool - best anatomy app for the iPad that I've seen. You get the skeleton for free and everything else is in-app purchase, but it's totally worth it (esp. If you're trying to explain anatomy to your kids)..Version: 1.2.2

Best App I've ever downloadedFor anyone doing any health science degree or sports science this app is a must!!! I'm a current physiotherapy student and this app has helped so much! Thanks guys for bring this app to the table, it's a game changer..Version: 2.0.1

Better than textbooksDefinitely worth the money, amazing app. There are a few tiny ligaments and veins missing though, but besides that, 10/10.Version: 2.5.1

Great app, but why isn't there a female model??????This app is great and is ideal for medical students 😊 It's super helpful and the 3D really make a difference in learning experience. However, there is no female model. Thus, no female reproductive system either. A bit sexist don't you think? It renders this almost perfect app incomplete. I really hope the female model is coming soon!.Version: 3.0.1

Best human body app ever! This is the best app ever it has everything I want everything looks real and detailed best app on App Store.Version: 8.1.1

Can no longer use quizzesCan’t find the quizzes anymore which were a very valuable tool!.Version: 6.0.1

FemaleNo female anatomy, poor value then.Version: 2.5.1

Very goodVery handy at anatomy class and good for studying.Version: 6.1.0

It’s getting thereUndoubtedly the best looking graphically, as well as feature rich, but slow to complete the full package, by way of male and, wait,,,,,hang on a moment ,,,,,,,,female anatomy. Baffling really..Version: 3.1.1

Best app for medical studentsComplete Anatomy is the one stop shop for any medical student or student in allied health fields, who is searching for an all-inclusive anatomy app. Not only does this app have a detailed atlas of anatomy of every single organ system, but it also has amazing functions that argument one’s learning, like the ability to sections through tissues, animate the motions specific muscles, and specifically track nerves along complex pathways. This app also has included courses that are in-app purchases, but are very worthwhile when studying, and you know that your lecture material from school isn’t helpful. The lectures included in the app definitely guide you along structures and functions you need to know for specific area. The app is also a great way for health professionals to promote patient education about symptoms they might be experiencing or their conditions. One can simply pull out the app and demonstrate to patient why they are feeling pain in the neck or joints by animating the motion of those muscles and showing where the problem may be!.Version: 3.3

Brilliant graphicsThis is really all you need to learn anatomy and understand how one system links into the others. Love the graphics and interactions.Version: 2.0.1

Love it! But...I love all the contents and how there are actual lectures (divided in detail as well!) which are really helpful for an undergrad student like me. But the only thing is that it gets quite annoying when it refreshes the entire program (and goes back to main screen) every time i open another app - regardless of how long I use (i mean, if I used the other app for an hour or more, I can understand that - but this happens even when I use the other app for only like 2 minutes) the other app. This didn’t happen when I first downloaded it which is about 3 or so weeks ago, so if this could get fixed somehow, this app would be flawless. Thank you!.Version: 6.1.0

Thanks! This is amazing! Even though I really want to learn about the human body, the text books are incredibly intimidating to me... However this just blows my mind, with its courses as well it’s virtual reality figures! This allows me to learn more of the human body; as well the cells. Thank you!.Version: 5.1.2

No support since elsevier took overThis is a great app when it works. The app doesn’t work on my ipad (yes I have loaded the correct version) - completely unresponsive. There used to be a time when you could contact the developer and get support. That doesn’t seem to be the case now with elsevier. Either the support is not there or it is extremely well hidden! Shoddy!.Version: 6.0.1

Great app!I wish I had purchased the cross-platform access package as opposed to the single device access package because I ended up paying for the single-use three separate times for three separate devices. The app runs great on my 2018 iPad Pro, my 2014 MacBook Pro and XS Max. It “runs” on my 2009 iMac but is pretty clunky and slow so I avoid using it there. That machine has 6 Gb of ram so I think it may just be the older processor. Anyways, this is an absolutely wonderful app with great functionality and design. I love how you can add/remove “layers” of the various body systems (e.g., integumentary, muscular, skeletal, respiratory/vascular, etc.) and also choose to have one item (e.g., a bone or a vessel) highlighted while fading or fully hiding the surrounding structures so that you can get a better view. There’s information about each structure and all the major landmarks are identified. There’s even the feature of pronunciation for a given structure!! Very cool imo. Very well thought out and implemented. My applause and appreciation to 3D 4 Medical!.Version: 4.2.1

Ripped offWould have loved to review this app, unfortunately I have been unable to restore the purchase! Can’t recommend it on it business acumen!.Version: 3.4

Unlike any otherHow does a company have such a good product AND such good customer service? I’ve been using this for about 5 years and it might be the best app I’ve bought..Version: 7.2.1

Fantastic with one annoyanceThe best 3D atlas. Beautifully designed, highly functional. Only quip is that after leaving the app to multitask with other apps (leaving 3D Anatomy up and running in the background), the 3D Anatomy app resets very quickly, causing you to lose your previous session. Most of the time reopening the app will cause a prompt to allow you to resume your previous session but this doesn’t always happen – making it annoying for you to rebuild your last session from scratch..Version: 6.2.0

Very good appWell done.Version: 6.2.0

Highly DetailedBy highly detailed, I mean highly detailed. You can travel through blood vessels. I have been up the urethra and entered the bladder! All you have to do is put in your email and password and boom! You have access to a hole lot of epic things to play around with. This amazing app includes a beating heart. All organs of the body, moving muscles, labels, detailed mode (you can see individual red blood cells and strands of hair),hundreds of videos, explanations, Lear you to say different words, complete 3D all-around camera, the ability to save and SOOOOOO much more! I highly recommend this app to primary school students, high school students, graduates , and medical students. Don’t forget the highly detailed AR mode to simulate surgery and much more! Enjoy the app…..Version: 8.4.0

Artist’s ReviewThis app is a great tool for artists since anatomy is one of the essential things we need to learn. Though I did see another review from a fellow artist that said you guys should consider making a plan for artists and I definitely agree. As stated in that other review, we know this is aimed at med students but a stripped down version of the app would be amazing for artists. We really only need the features for the skeletal, muscular, and integumentary systems for out work. As for things you could possibly add to the functions of the app itself; 1. Minor but would be very useful - Being able to highlight multi selected areas in different colors. It’ll help us see and differentiate muscles easier. 2. Major - being able to see muscles in twists such as lower arm when you are twisting your wrist Other than those, I think the app is perfect for what I need..Version: 9.1.0

Amazing!!This app has proved to be invaluable for facilitating the high amounts of content that comes with medical school. A must-have for sure..Version: 5.2.3

Awesome App!I’ve always been interested in anatomy and this app makes it come alive. Great level of detail and definitely worth the price. Fantastic job!.Version: 4.0.2

Very helpful app (review revised)I use this app for medical school and find it very helpful and detailed. I used to have issues with it restarting constantly but that has been fixed in a recent update. I highly recommend this app! Original review (no longer relevant): This app is very helpful for medical school! But every time I reopen the app just a few minutes after using it, it keeps restarting. Please fix RAM management so it stays in the system memory for longer! For reference I am on an iPad Pro 2018 on iPadOS 14.2..Version: 6.4.0

Great app for studentsThere is so much content available! Models are of high quality and information provided is correct. I think this app was well worth the investment - it helped me to supplement material I learned in anatomy lectures with amazing visualizations. I originally purchased this app as an add on to Essential Anatomy 5 - I wanted to be able to see extra features, including: parts, surfaces and landmarks of bones and motion of muscles. (If simply seeing the muscles on a skeleton and reading ORIANS is all that you need, EA5 is probably going to be sufficient). Support from 3D4Medical is quick and helpful. I had similar issues to other uses and was unable to access premium features after an app update, but customer service rep Sharon provided clear instructions on how to restore these features. At times the app can be a bit laggy, and it takes up a fair amount of space. But I am able to run it on my old iPad Air (2013)..Version: 5.2.2

Add somethingHow About Adding some Problems To solve Like Amputation and Surgery to teach you how to do stuff like that..Version: 8.3.0

Downloadable contentI’ve been using this app since it was released following the announcement at an apple event and I have recommended it to a lot of my classmates and a few of my superiors. I can not state how useful it has been in understanding different parts of the body. I do however wish I could download content that I have purchased separately (video content). I always have to have WiFi to stream the content and if we are in the hospital for long hours with no access to the hospital WiFi for security reasons, I would like to access the content when I get a few hours to myself through the day..Version: 4.1.5

It’s a fiveHad to redownload before it worked but now it runs smoothly. Impressive features. Understandibly expensive. Would love a one time purchase option..Version: 7.1.0

What a poor way to take care of clientI buy this app 3 years ago, cause I’m a teacher, so I can record some video. Now they just told me that they remove this option on my app !!! I pay for something I now they decide what I suppose to have or not !!! Which company will do that ??.Version: 6.1.0

Good visuals but.Good visuals but freezes and one needs to re-install..Version: 3.4

Great help for med students especially with classes shifted onlineThis app is great! It’s been really helpful for me as someone with very little background knowledge in anatomy. I have one suggestion! I think the dorsal and palmar surfaces of the hamate bone in the hand might be incorrect. Would probably good to fix it. Thanks.Version: 5.2.3

Fantastic; Great time saverIt’s by no means a necessity for medical school, but it’s very useful in terms of saving time. Often times skips having to search through a textbook (digital or not) for a chart or diagram in order to locate anatomy; in 15 seconds i can pull up the model, find the specific portion of the anatomy, see what i want to see, and boom, done. I thought I wouldn’t use it much past the A&P courses but I find myself referencing it for nearly every course. Yes, anatomy varies from person to person, but for learning purposes this app is 5/5..Version: 3.5

Absolutely brilliant. This is a fantastic app. I use it for teaching and planning medical procedures. Indispensable for me, and very cheap compared to many anatomy resources. Brilliant customer support too..Version: 2.2.0

Goated ayIt’s pretty goated ay.Version: 9.1.0

OutstandingThis is a great app. I really enjoy what it can do and how user-friendly it is. Worth the $80 in my opinion..Version: 2.2.0

Great! Some minor suggestionsThis app is super useful, especially in terms of visualising anatomy in 3D space, something very hard to do with online teaching during COVID. One small suggestion maybe is to add some models to aid in the study of embryology. For instance models of the trilaminar disk and then early embryo would be very useful to gain an insight into embryonic folding- a highly three dimensional process. Keep up the good work..Version: 6.4.0

BEST ANATOMY APP FOR DOCS/STUDENTSI am an Internal Medicine Doc and I have been using this app for years. I strongly recommend it for educating patients. With the new atlas feature, and the radiology interface that is integrated into it, make it a must have for learning, reviewing and educating others. I have tried them ALL, and this is the best by far. I wish it did not cost so much for students, but they are obviously reinvesting profits because it just keeps getting better..Version: 8.0.1

Great App!!Well worth every penny and even better no ongoing subscription costs..Version: 2.0.1

Good ApplicationThanks for these great apps!.Version: 3.4

Brilliant appJust a guy wanting to learn about his own body. Cannot find enough superlatives to describe this absolutely brilliant and awesome app: the stunning 3D anatomical structures which can be rotated at will, the detailed notes, the video courses which will keep me busy and learning for a long time — just so much on offer. Well done you! For what you get the subscription fee is trivial!.Version: 6.3.0

Worth every cent 👏🏽🙏🏽👌🏽This is an amazing app the detail is incredible and it's so in depth, every single part of the body can be discovered and scrutinised to the tenth degree, it's awesome how every part of the body can be manipulated to view every possible angle and cross section, information is provided about every organ, vain, muscle, bone etc so the knowledge that can be gained is endless and I have only just downloaded it :) I know it's going to help me tremendously with my studies in medicine, not only will it be an invaluable anatomy app the possibilities are countless in the medical field and in teaching and learning medicine..Version: 2.0.0

I love this app, and have a challenge!I love this app and am happy to have used it for quite a while. The video taking feature is incredible, the movement is sleek, and the resources are informative and insightful. I’m in love, but now I have a challenge for the development team. I’m hoping that the devs can create a function where you can increase the body fat percentage of the model. Some of us use this app for explaining movement and modalities of fitness, and being able to have a size-adjustable model is helpful. First app to make this happen gets all my cash! :).Version: 5.1.1

Needs more X-rey/CT-Scan sections like abdomenAlso it needs more detailed features of other organs like: middle ear and tympanic membrane also for nose concha and meatus also for tongue, mouth, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, voice box these things really really needs detailed models in addition maybe a tool to cut the whole body at once without cutting one part at a time. Overall the app is so great and i am going to subscribe again every year till i finish medical school cause it helped me a lot, thank you😊.Version: 9.2.0

Has been a great resource throughout the yearsI have used this company’s apps since their conception way back when I was in high school almost 10 years ago. They have helped me out a lot throughout the years. I do wish the iPad app would work with my Magic Mouse 2 now that it is supported on almost all my other apps. I also miss the quizzes I could create on previous versions. With that being said when my student subscription ends it will be the end of my journey with this app for me. The subscription model may be worth it for some just starting their anatomical studies but for me it is not worth a yearly payment. If the app offers a 1 time purchase perhaps I will reconsider re-downloading the application again as a reference. If you are a college student or even in a graduate program such at PT or OT this app is worth the subscription while you’re in school..Version: 5.2.5

AwesomeEasily the best app ever. I’m not in the medical profession so this has learnt me a lot..Version: 4.1.4

Must buyThe app is great, very detailed and informative, I am a Physiotherapy student and it is a great reference and education tool. Only gripe with it is you cannot yet split screen with it, it would be useful if you're using this and pages side by side to compose your essays. The nervous, muscular and skeletal systems are covered extensively, it would be nice to be able to zoom into the internal workings of the cardio-respiratory systems also though. Overall, a great tool to have in your toolbox, if you're a visual learner this app makes complete sense..Version: 2.1.0

You guuuuysThat was fast.Version: 2.5.1

Great app, but only male body. It's a great app, and very helpful, but only having a male body is a significant limitation. Their Essential Anatomy, while it lacks many of the finer features of Complete Anatomy, has both male and female bodies..Version: 2.5.1

StunningThis is absolutely incredible, end of story. Buy the full version, you will not regret it..Version: 3.5

Beyond amazingExtreme useful and friendly. Anatomy made clear and simple. The interactivity is amazing. Congratulations to the team who develop this app.Version: 2.1.0

Studying is kinda funWorks well on my iPad Air 2. High graphical quality, helpful animations. Full license does not allow viewing of cross-sections, only subscription licenses do. High price, you may want to consider Human Anatomy Atlas..Version: 5.1.2

BittersweetA very good app with some good content and detailed atlas. However has many mistakes or “typos” which can be annoying, especially when paying for the app..Version: 4.1.5

Love love loveTotally worth it🥰🥰🥰🥰.Version: 6.2.0

Almost thereReally good interactive app, needs a few more adjustments as it's missing some key features from Ess anatomy 5, but all in all really useful for students and anyone in general who wants to learn anatomy.Version: 2.0.1

Keyboard supportI really love this app and o had no problem to pay the subscription especially for my education in college of medicine but since i own the magic keyboard it has been very annoying to use because they don’t support the magic keyboard, adding the magic keyboard support will help the keyboard users to interact with the keyboard and not taking the iPad on and off the keyboard all the time it can get very annoying.Version: 7.1.0

Lay DoctorBest asset I have for accurate diagnosis..Version: 6.4.0

Exceptional App and Customer ServiceThis is an amazing app. I recently had an issue where my purchased content disappeared. The app developer responded to my request for assistance very promptly and resolved my issue..Version: 6.0.1

The bestThe best..Version: 6.4.0

Almost perfectAs a medical student, using this app along side others (firecracker, netters)offers much more manoeuvrability regarding anatomical structures over textbooks, especially as a visual learner like myself. Great app, sufficient detail. Only downside, once I ordered on my iPad I had to pay a separate fee to run on my phone. But not a big enough downside to reduce to a 4 star. 👍.Version: 6.2.0

I’m a product designer….and this is what a user would need:Amazing app. However, text description size is so small, it hurts me eyes to read it. I wish I could change the size of the description. Otherwise fantastic app with amazing information and easy to navigate. Also in the description box, the names of parts should be clickable. So I can click it and see how the part connects to my current selected part. That would really help me to understand how the different parts connect. Also the rotate or view controls for me are so finicky…it moves when I don’t want it to..Version: 8.7.4

Almost there...When it's not crashing, it's a fantastic app. Obviously, there's a huge need for a female model, but I understand that's coming. Prior to that, the developers need to fix the constant crashing. The auto-save doesn't work frequently enough to make a real difference after a crash- when I restore my previous session, I usually have only about 50% of my work. You're almost there-- with the crash fixes and a female model, this will be an outstanding app..Version: 3.2

Great app, full of potentials and smart move to abolish subscription based modelI downloaded this app months ago but the ridiculous annual subscription price tag put me off. Now it offers one-off purchase - a reasonable price for medical students and other professionals. I already owned the essential anatomy back to the days when I was a 1st year med student. I love the app but I got lost of the big picture when only focusing on the details of single muscle or bone. One feature I wanted to have is to have labels listed for certain orientations, which becomes a reality in complete anatomy. And it gets even better, with the sharing feature available, users from various background and experience can now publish card on their own to educate others. There are minor things that need improving. The app crashes sometimes and occasionally becomes unresponsive. Overall, I have a very positive experience. In the future, if pathologies and more clinical relevant stuff could be added, it would be perfect. For example, if spaces like obturator foramen could be highlighted and obturator hernia could be added to the description. Thanks for this awesome work..Version: 1.2.2

Technical Support AMAZINGI got this app many years ago and had a fully functional app to see all available components. Following a recent update to 3D Medical 2019, the app would not function properly with the layering no longer working. Contacted technical support and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. My app is now working as it should. THANK YOU!!.Version: 4.0.3

Great Buy for Grad SchoolCurrently in Chiropractic School and didn’t want a 150 dollar book so I tried this. I deducted one star cuz there was maybe a few times I couldn’t find what I wanted but a quick google search helped. Even if I had to run to the library for a book for a few things this helped me save so much time overall. The ability to go back and forth between things helps you see how it all fits together. Once again, great buy overall..Version: 4.0.1

Looking for MoreI’m a pre-Med student, and I really love the design of this app. The realism is amazing and the details and easy of function is delightful. In deciding which app to purchase for an anatomy and physiology study and exploration tool I came across complete anatomy because it was very attractive and the free trial truly gave me a sense of need for the app. I would love for the app to sky rocket in improvements and updates, and I really hope we can surpass the features found in some of the other options offered for 3D Anatomy and Physiology platforms. My biggest anticipation is hopefully a feature to take complete cross section of the model to be able to compare to cadaver and CT scans as seen in Human Anatomy Atlas. I would also love for the ability to search content as well. Also more pathology, clinical and physiology related material would take this app to a whole new level and I would be extremely thrilled to find that in future updates! Keep up the greatness Complete Anatomy!.Version: 3.4

AmazingLove this app so much, it's very helpful! Definitely recommend it to every one!.Version: 2.1.0

Great appI think it’s an awesome tool. The app however keeps crashing on me, I have no idea why. I also wish that once in isolation mode you could have the option to add more systems to the isolated structure. The tags also have a few glitches but overall this app has great potential. Update: the app support contacted me and were able to fix the issue with the app crashing. I haven’t had any problems the app since. Highly recommend the app.Version: 3.2

Opens up great possibilitiesThis app blends great features and smooth intuitive interaction for a really wonderful experience..Version: 2.2.0

Fantastic for even the base version. However, certain things could use some renovation. Certain images are lower than normal quality but mostly good. Also was really disappointed that the option to see the specific muscles in action was only a video and non interactive ): I will be buying the upgrade though!.Version: 9.2.0

Incredible appI own all the other apps by these guys, and I bought an iPad Pro just to be ale to use this app! (Well... almost). It's quite simply amazing what it can do. Takes a little bit of getting used to after a few hours it's easy..Version: 2.2.0

Teach an old dog new tricks! As a semi retired Head and Neck surgeon I have ,recently, acted as a volunteer Clinical Anatomy Demonstrator for 2nd year medical students. It has been many years since I studied general anatomy and that was learned from books as well as the dissection rooms. I have been astounded at how well this electronic education resource works for me. Superb 3D models with first class lectures by anatomists available. Would be helpful if more anatomical teaching sessions were available for some of the more difficult (for me !) areas such as CNS and pelvic floor. Overall, It is a pleasure to sit and revise prior to the student’s practical sessions. Highly recommended..Version: 5.0.6

Great but waiting for female modelI am a medical student and have the free version of this app. I am already loving the visual representation of the skeleton and connective tissue. I intend to buy the full version very soon! I have one problem that I am eager to see - a female model which is due at the end of this year - please work to release this feature soon! Then this app will be PERFECT!.Version: 2.5.1

Interactive way to learnMuch more interesting than a book, I learn much quicker using this. We are very fortunate such technology exists..Version: 2.2.0

HolaNesecito el free all access version.Version: 2.5.1

Best app for studying locomotorI passed anatomy course thanks to this app. Especially useful for locomotor and peripheral regional anatomy. Can highly recommend for medical students! Also great for revising anatomy during your later studies or as visual demonstration of organs and even pathology to patients..Version: 4.1.4

Excellent for study and clinicThis is the ultimate all in one anatomy and physiology app you will ever need. Complete control to view from any angle and with great detail. The app will provide correct medical information on each body part, with media, words and so much more. If you're studying a medical/ health science degree then look no further. This app gets me the grades I want because it makes learning so much easier and fun. When I'm in clinic I use it to show clients any relevant information I need to get across. You will not regret buying this..Version: 2.0.1

Great anatomy appA little slow to load the different layers at times. But this must be due to how detailed all the structures are..Version: 8.3.0

Incredibly Useful!I had just gotten this app and it is endlessly amazing, you can choose what kind of models you want; tongue, eye, full body, skin, etc. It is very detailed and it is packed with knowledge, that is why I give it a 5 out of 5 stars..Version: 8.0.1

Perfect!Love this app, i find it easy to use and has all the information I need in a totally understandable format..Version: 5.1.1

Information is questionableUpdate:- after contacting the app creator, they informed me there is a degree of variation within academic text and that complete anatomy falls in line with Moore’s & Daley’s teachings. I don’t know if u have notice but many muscle groups belonging to nerve supplies c5 and also L4 isn’t correct. It is correct on the previous app anatomy 5. I am disappointed after just paying full price for an app that isn’t reliable in its information. There may be more info that’s incorrect in light of the info I’ve come across but Ive only following data specific to c5 and l4 so far. Please correct..Version: 3.3

Absolutely InvaluableIn writing this review alone, I am procrastinating study for my anatomy exam, but I will say that this has been an incredible tool. Every detail, down to the light shining on the inner wall of the left auricle, is included, and has helped me so much to visualise these bodily structures. I dare say, even more than prac classes where we see the real thing. Best investment I ever made!.Version: 3.5

Great for learning anatomy, crashes oftenI love this app. It has made the biggest difference in orienting myself to structures and structure relations in clinical anatomy. I especially love being able to build neurovasculature pathways. Also, the function that demonstrates muscle actions is great for PT students. My only issue is that every time I use it on my iPad, the app will freeze or crash and I have to reopen the app, enough times throughout the day that it becomes frustrating. Every time this happens, I have to restore my progress and often lose structures I have already added and thus need to re-add them. This app would be perfection if this didn’t happen!.Version: 8.6.0

Great resourceThis app is amazing. The graphics are stunning. It's runs so smoothly. There really isn't anything like it. I'm so impressed with the multiple tools and features. I especially love the muscle motion and slice tools. The app is so interactive. And the content just keeps growing and growing. There is so much useful information. It's an invaluable tool. I usually don't pay for in-app purchases. But I've made an exception for this one. It's well worth it!.Version: 1.2.2

My best AppI have spent loads on apps and this is by far the best one yet by a country mile. Worth every penny and then some.Version: 2.1.0

Great so farI love all the stuff it provides to help me better understand anatomy and physiology and has a lot of cool features as well. I have yet to experience the lectures but it would be nice if it wasn’t an in app purchase. The app was doing fine until it crashes and classes are starting soon and I’m hoping this crashing issue will be fixed before too long..Version: 3.3

Best anatomy app yetBest anatomy app, allows you to see the movements of each muscle and where each nerve goes. 10/10.Version: 2.2.0

Amazing app; could use an update/license option for artistsI'm not a medical student nor do i intend to be, but i AM an artist. this app is incredibly useful but it is expensive; for good reason, but i think there should be a license for artists specifically (to have access to the models and breakdowns of the models specifically; the videos primarily and things meant to go in huge detail are pretty unneccessary for the purposes i use the app for). plus maybe some 'model' modes for artists? idk, i'll definitely keep using the app, but i think that having professional artists come in and help design a license option for other artists would be good. this app is by FAR the bets app i've found for in depth explanations of the human anatomy (side note: additional animations for muscles would also be amazing!! i love this app and i am aware its meant for the medical industry, but it can definitely stay like that and have features for artists as well) all the devs are doing amazing and i definitely would reccommend this app if i knew any medical students personally LOL.Version: 8.6.0

Amazing ToolI bought one for my macbook first. Then, I can’t help buying for my ipad tool. I found that ipad version is much easier even though you get larger images in macbook version. Really reall helpful not only for studying but also for explaining anatomy and diseases to my patients. Highly and strongly recommended.Version: 3.2

Really good butI would normally give games a 5 star but I put this down a star because of the subscription but overall the game is really really good.Version: 9.0.2

Beautiful and increasingly accurateOf course this app is expensive, especially when you have to purchase it individually for every platform, but the quality of the content is outstanding. The esthetics are by far the best for any 3D anatomy app out there. What’s more, the content is getting increasingly accurate, with a meticulous attention to detail. Good job!.Version: 3.3

AmazingI'm only an interested layperson but it's incredible this type of thing exists to really understand how we work..Version: 2.2.0

Very intuitive, easy to use and master. Highly recommend this tool/platformCan’t say enough about how in-depth this application goes. Lots of perks, varying by level of subscription, yet arguably the most useful tool is the basic (in all sub. types) 3D interactive model, allowing separate or stacked viewing of all anatomical systems. Worth the money...! I was hesitant at first, but once I was able to access the courses and additional info, models, sources, and tools, I was convinced this tool is something I will use a lot. (It has been useful in personal training: I’ve been using the models, tools, and explanatory videos in the library to help my clients and myself understand and explain to each other.) Overall, great service on offer!!!.Version: 6.1.0

Pay to upgrade TWICEVery useful but you shouldn’t have to pay to upgrade on each platform. If you’ve paid to upgrade, this should be the case whether you’re using desk top or iPad for example. Absolute rip off..Version: 3.5

Great appGreat custom service, the feedback is really responsive..Version: 4.1.4

Best anatomy app availableEspecially with the added features you don't need any anatomy atlas or book. I wish I had this when I was studying medicine!.Version: 3.0.0

Great App…but…I have to say that I love this app. I have the full version on my iPhone and on my Windows PC. The models are functional and I refer to them often. My only issue is that a one-time purchase of the license is no longer available, as I don’t really need the quizzes etc. that come with the subscriptions. If they could return to the previous model with the subscriptions as well as the one-time offer I wouldn’t be able to recommend the app enough!.Version: 7.2.1

Omg! Still no separate full body female model!Great app but it’s a bit out of date to only have female chest and pelvis as dismembered body parts rather than part of a full female model. Even in the 2022. A separate full female model has been promised for years!!.Version: 8.0.0

Free Skeleton, Not Much ElseThe app provides detailed models for most of the systems of the body, which is great for a med student or even a doctor. This is much better in comparison to having to have either it drawn on paper or needing to have physical models since it is both easy to take with you and is in 3D so you can see how it would really look. The only problems being that it costs quite a bit to gain access to all parts, and is quite the large app (1.3 gigabytes). Otherwise it’s pretty great all around and has been made by people who know what they are talking about..Version: 4.0.1

Great app, could be phenomenalA few technical details that I think could be improved: 1) You need trackpad support. It’s been out for over a year now and you have compatibility for trackpads/mice with your other devices. 2) Object selection (when you tap on something) could pop open its window faster. Essential Anatomy was quick as a whistle, this app’s windows lag to load which can be annoying when you’re in a crunch..Version: 7.2.1

Not a replacement for a textbookOn a body system level it’s pretty good. But when it comes to organ, tissue, or cellular levels it is nonexistent. I understand that it may be difficult to create an app that goes further in depth, but it would be nice to go a little deeper. For example: the eye. It would be nice to be able to cut the layers of the eye and explore that intricate body part (blood vessels, sclera, choroid, retina, optic disc, fovea centralis, etc.). Instead you are just left with the eye and nothing else to do with it. My point is that it is sufficient for gross A&P but not the fine A&P. At this point it is at best an adjunct for only certain lessons in a textbook. Update: They are starting to add in more detail to certain tissues and structures such as muscle tissue and vascular structures. Locating that information in the app could be made clearer. I am increasing my ratings to reflect the improvements..Version: 4.0.2

These guys care about their AppThe only anatomy app you'll ever need Not to mention the great support team behind it.Version: 2.2.0

3D AnatomyAmazing.Version: 2.2.0

No better reasonably priced anatomy appI’ve used several anatomy software programs and apps over the past 7-10 years. This is by far the most useful for teaching musculoskeletal education for an inexpensive price. It goes way beyond musculoskeletal, so I get educated myself while I’m teaching too. Individual muscles completely with information about each makes education great. However, there’s one way where other apps have better usefulness is the language. I need Chinese often and there’s only one choice for that and it’s not this one..Version: 5.0.4

Love this AppThis is a part of my every day use in my clinic, amazing app for helping clients understand what their treatment involves. i would like to see being able to move the arm or leg to expose the muscles a little more at a better angel. great app and well worth the money. thank u guys at 3D4medical for your hard work..Version: 2.5.1

Well worth itFollowing my previous review I am glad things have changed now. The subscription free price in my opinion is well worth it. Buy it and you won't regret. Probably the best anatomy app out there. Thanks for listening 3D4. Previous review: 🌟🌟👎👎👎 Good for now (but Cautious 🤔) The CEO's statement in the description re: subscription is seemingly reasonable. Thank you for taking the time to explain. But I am a bit cautious on what will happen to the other subscription-free apps by this developer. Will they continue to support and develop those too in the future? As of now, the most concerning fact is that all their other subscription-free apps have not been updated for more than a year!! Seems they are abandoning any future support for these products. I hope the developers continue to support these apps. As a student, I can't afford subscriptions so I will have to stick to the subscription-free apps. I have already invested (heavily) in all the other 3D4 apps - yes every single one of them including all inapp purchases. I hope that 3D4 will support these apps in the future and be loyal to the customers who invested to build their firm to where they are now. We will have to wait and see what happens, I suppose. I am a bit tentative and cautious overall. 🤔.Version: 2.1.0

Medical student saviourI'm a second year medical student at a UK university. It was near impossible to use and integrate anatomy learned from standalone images in Grays, as if the image/diagram was shown in another angle you'd be stunted. This app is fantastic. You can see the structures in relation to the whole body, and the 'screens' function is amazing for looking at individual structures in depth. Amazing app, honestly I'd pay for this even if it was double the price. BEST MEDICAL EDUCATION TOOL OUT THERE..Version: 3.2

Camera Navigation FeedbackHello! What a brilliant and endlessly helpful app you guys have made here. The only issue I am having with it at the moment is the camera rotation. It would be really helpful if there was a feature to rotate the camera around a selected object, instead of the centre of the whole model itself. possibly changing the cameras centre rotation axis to an object that is double tapped could be a good way of integrating this feature as this already centres the camera to the object. A small issue, I know but would further help with ease of use and general navigation and inspection around anatomical structures. Thanks for creating such and amazing app!.Version: 8.0.0

Amazing appI got the individual plan and it’s so wonderful, it helps me study so easily! It’s like dissecting a person!! I want to suggest one change: it would be nice to be able to display multiple gross anatomical regions at once. Other then that, it’s a wonderful app.Version: 5.2.4

Minor improvement needed!A great app it’s become essential to my revision I just wonder if it is possible to enable the app to split screen on iPads as to allow note taking with the iPad as well??.Version: 4.1.4

Great app to learn anatomyI have since found out the developer is honest and stands by their product. I did end up buying the full package and I am pleased it comes with everything promised and more. With that being said I have changed my review. This skeleton, muscles and various systems are hi quality models and the ability to dive into the human body is amazing. I have an older iPad the first version with Retina display and they take advantage of the extra pixels. I got this to learn the body and inner systems for class I have to take. For me, well worth the money and I can study on the train to work..Version: 3.4

GreatThis is an amazing app to help appreciate the anatomy of the human body in a simplified form.Version: 3.1.0

Brilliant, and not just for medical professionalsIf you want to see what's possible on an iPad (especially on the iPad Pro) take a look at 3D4Medical's Complete Anatomy. The free download is limited to the skeleton and connective-tissue view, but at higher resolution than their earlier Skeleton System Pro III app. In order to see all the body "layers" you will need to make the in-app purchase. This one-time purchase has replaced a monthly/annual subscription, and makes the full app far cheaper - once you've had it a year. The only downside is that you can no longer experience the full app without making the purchase. To see what's included you'll need to take a look at the video on the vendor's web site. This app is targeted at medical professionals (which I'm not) and students, so be prepared for body-part descriptions in doctor-speak. You'll still learn without understanding all the words. Content updates are regular, both as downloads from the App Store and within the app. Performance on an iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro is outstanding, and the animations are amazing. One caveat - if you are squeamish you should probably stick with the skeleton view! There's a lot of stuff inside our bodies, and Complete Anatomy displays it very well. But if you're a medical professional, or simply an interested lay-person, this is an must-have application. I've had a few medical issues recently and found it invaluable to understanding what was going on inside me. Highly recommended..Version: 1.2.1

Outstanding, please fix one thingI finished med school in 2014 and it’s startling to me that we’ve gone from paging through an anatomy atlas to this incredible interactive resource in that short time. I don’t think it’s a reach to call it game changing. I’m glad to have it now and wish it were around back in the “dark ages” (2009) when I was learning anatomy. OK, having said that, I managed to find something to complain about: I really enjoy using the ipad pro with the magic keyboard and the app does not integrate well with the keyboard. can’t click on items with the trackpad and manipulating images with it is buggy. not sure if an update of the keyboard (from apple) or from the app itself is needed but a solution would be greatly appreciated as using the keyboard which works very well with other apps I use spares the beautiful images in the app (and screen) from my grimey fingers. Thanks!.Version: 6.3.0

Great app please add one featureGreat app overall, but please can you add one minor quality of life addition. Please allow us to choose whether one finger pans or rotates the model and vice verse with two fingers. I feel for me, it is much more intuitive to have one finger pan the model and have two fingers to allow rotation and therefore simultaneously zoom in and out. Wouldn’t not take much effort to add this in, but would help me navigate the app so much more easily. Thanks for a great app!!.Version: 4.1.8

Amazing app !This app is just amazing, it puts basically all of there previous anatomy apps into one easy to use app with far greater functionality and stunning visuals. The scope of this app is limitless. I am a lecturer and physician of Chinese Medicine, and i believe this app would be precious for any person who works in any area of the health industry. This update is a good step forward, and I am especially pleased with the design decision for the new '+' and '-' toggles to add remove layers 👍🏻 great job and thank you for creating this app. Francesco.Version: 1.1.0
