✓ Brilliant AppAs a parent I know you will read a lot of reviews on here that are very negative. Ignore them. The main reason for the poor reviews is because it is so good at what it does, the kids who are forced to use it hate it so much they have to write bad reviews. As a parent of 3, this is a superb app. It has allowed my kids to self regulate but I can still maintain control of their screen time across all their devices. This is a must for all parents. You kids will hate it and that’s a good thing..Version: 3.12

We can control their time from anywhere, give them tasks to earn more time and control different apps. ✓ Best appI love this app. I did what it suggested and warned my 8 year old that the tablet would go off a 7.30 except the podcast app so he could listen to stories for half hour. I love I can control what apps are available at what time. My son promised he would choose apps responsibly then within hours I was notified he had downloaded gangster city crime and terror shoot out! I was able to stop these. I can also pause the tablet so he can play his instrument or eat tea etc. I have control and I have set a really tough password. I nearly cried laughing when I had the breakdown of his usage and he had spent 24 minutes in a child safety app trying to break into the app. He has accused me of spying but I think I am being informed and l am protecting him. ✓ Great AppI downloaded a few parental control apps but this one was by far the best with the most options to lock down children’s devices. The user interface is fantastic - well laid out and super easy to use. It gives options to block apps and also restrict usage either by overall screen time or within set hours. It also lets you monitor your child’s usage remotely with time spent on each app and internet history. I simply love this app 👍🏻👍🏻.Version: 3.12
✓ Love this app!Takes away the constant arguing over screen time - the kids can clearly see how much time they have left. It teaches them awareness of how much time they actually spend on their gadgets! The tasks are brilliant - they are suddenly very motivated to do chores!! He likes it too as he is quite black and white and likes the firm guidelines the app provides- thank u!!! ✓ Great appI am very happy I found this app. As a working mom, the days are very busy. As much as I tried to set a timer to control his iPad time.. it was hard to enforce and keep track. And every week trying to look through it to see if he downloaded something new and if it was appropriate. This app lets me set the amount of time he can use per day, it allows me to shut it down at a certain time at night even if he hasn’t used all his minutes, and updates me every time he downloads something new so I can look at it. It allows me to block certain games/apps on his iPad. The 2 BEST functions for me... 1. There is a “kill switch” to shut down his iPad immediately if he’s not paying attention or I need him to do something and he’s not putting his iPad down! 2. If he does something extra good that day or finishes chores, I can “gift” him more minutes on his iPad. It’s a GREAT incentive. ✓ Good basic control for you kid screenThe app works as expected, I can restrict the whole time that my daughter spend on her iphone apps. Apparently Ios doesn't allow a fine grained control of each app, so any time the screen is active for any reason it's subtracted from allowance. As such the report doesn't tell which app has been used and for how long, just the whole phone. To have any app working ( but phone, text, photos) the kids need to be connected to internet. at the end I am still fine with this as I am keeping a light touch approach, based on trust. If she will prove not thrustworthy I will need a stronger control app to provide me better transparency on her behavior..Version: 3.12
✓ ExcellentI'm very happy with this. My children got Kindle Fires for Christmas and this has helped regulate their use. Easy to use with a variety of settings. I like the fact that once they've used their time, they can have still read or listen to music. I tried some apps before this but they just weren't as good. ✓ Great but needs debuggingI love this app, the whole idea behind it is fantastic. The bedtime function is perfect (my boys used to sneakily go back on their tablets if they woke up in the middle of the night) and they are now keen to do jobs around the house to earn extra time. Issues have been when I use the pause function it does not always communicate well with the device. We need to pause and unpause several times before it works. The other issue I had was my eldest managed to uninstall it when he was having a teenager moment, I’d hoped that wasn’t possible!.Version: 3.45
✓ Great app. Does the trick.Does what it's supposed to, and my daughter hates it which means it's doing its job! I love it as we get to limit time on the app but change it for weekends etc, and leave educational apps out of the limit so she can still do times tables at any time :) (until bed time anyway). ✓ Great App for Controlling Kids UsageThis is a great app. After the free trial I decided to keep using it at £2.99 per month as I feel that this is worth it! I mainly use the daily usage function and bedtime so my daughters phone becomes unusable after 7.30pm. My daughter has taken to it surprisingly well and our nightly game where she couldn’t find her phone at bedtime so I could take it off her (hidden somewhere in her room to play after I left!) has finally finished ;-).Version: 3.32

✓ Compulsory for teen tech management!We love this app and have told many other eager parents about it. We found it so hard to manage our daughter’s time on her phone. ✓ Brilliant AppI use this to limit the time my son spends on his tablet each day and between which hours. It does exactly what I want, is easy to use and my son now accepts his limits. He can earn extra time for specific tasks if needed. I don’t usually pay for apps but after the free trial, I liked this so much I subscribed to the premium feature as the basic version is very limited. ✓ Great appI have tried almost every parental control app I could find and this is the best. I found this app very useful. I have it on my ipad and my kids on their samsung tablets and it works well. I love the fact that we can add activities that the kids must do to have more screen time. It works for us and the kids play the game of doing those activities for more time : washing the dishes, playing outside... ✓ Best Discipline Tool EVERThx to this APP, never has a generation been easier to discipline, control or whatever you’d prefer to call it. No need to shout, scream, yell or nag. If homework’s not done, I block every app, if bedrooms a mess, again even google can be blocked, it’s at your discretion what you choose to allow or not. And the best thing about the APP? ✓ App works just like it saysI've had this app for a few months. After figuring out the ins and outs, it works great now. Took awhile to figure things out. But support is always there and promptly answers your questions. Love the bedtime timer, pause feature, all of it. As long as your kids don't close the app by swiping it off their iPad, you will be fine. Took my kids one time to do that before they figured out what happens! I like that you can set certain days and times for screen time, bed time, homework time. Best of all is the ability to add work for the kids to earn more time. Both kids clean the house without being asked. My oldest vacuumed the entire house! Only thing I would like to see added is to put all devices under one time limit. ✓ Great appI have found this app to be a really good way of controlling and limiting the amount of time my son has on his tablet and the content he can view. He likes being able to see how much time he has left and he can also gain more time by completing tasks I have set for him - he updates them as completed On the app and I receive a notification to grant more time. The bedtime function is a really handy way of getting him off for bedtime and having a ‘waking’ time ensures he can’t sneak onto it when he should be sleeping. The ability to pause his time has been handy when he should be getting ready for school! ✓ Brilliant when it worksThis is an amazing app, when it works that is!!! Keeps blocking sons iPod apps when he is in designated screen time and won't come back on. Followed instructions for this and switched VPN off but it's still happening. It's just too glitchy to pay for so I've uninstalled it. It is better than other apps in respect to setting daily tasks to earn extra time. I've had the most helpful, polite son for a whole week!! He really felt he was achieving something. ✓ Great APPI downloaded this for my daughter's Samsung phone and her iPod as well as on my iPhone. It has really improved things in our house! You can set daily limits and control which APPs are used/downloaded. The pause feature is great too - wherever I am I can pause her devices and send her message to say why! I also like the way I can see what APPs she's been using and what searches she has been making on the internet. We had a few teething issues with the iPod but the help team were fantastic and got back to me so quickly to sort it out. It's now working really well. My daughter (age 12) also surprisingly likes it! She says it has really helped her to control her usage and manage her time. She gets her homework done quicker and she doesn't have the constant interruptions all evening. The bedtime blocker means we have much more relaxed bedtimes - she is not distracted by the technology (because she can't use it!) and she is settling to sleep much more quickly. I also block it until 7.20 am so she is getting ready for school with no distractions too. I'm so pleased with this APP. You do need to take the time to get to know the APP, ask the help team if you need support and then you will find it a really useful APP for positive change in your family!.Version: 2.72
✓ Works like it shouldI'm not sure why people are finding apps crashing using this app. We have not had this trouble. It does seem to take apps out of folders and move them to the home screen. I haven't checked to see if that has been fixed yet or not. Overall it works like it should. I have my son's iPad set at 1 hr/day 3hr/day on weekends (he's 6) and then I have various "tasks" set so he can earn more time (20 min extra for unloading/loading the dishwasher, 10 min for remembering to do his homework without being reminded, etc). So far it works perfectly, he uses up his time and either finds other activities to do or quickly earns some extra time so he can finish a show he was watching. You can also use the play button to give some special time whenever you want but that time keeps running when the screen is on regardless of whether or not the kid is actually using any apps. That might be what is confusing some people on how it keeps time. If a kid shuts the app down it will also block all of their "fun" apps until it is reopened ;) I do wish that there was a "parent override" on the child's device. Some way that a parent could allow/extend access to the child's device without being connected to wifi, maybe by entering a passcode. I also wish the kindle version would be fixed. I really would like to have this running on my daughters kindle fire!.Version: 2.82

I no longer have to clock watch or have the arguments of "one more minute" or "I'll just finish watching this". I'm also not worried about what they're watching or downloading. ✓ It’s been working well for me for several yearsI got this a while ago because my kids wanted to use their fire tablets outside of kids mode. It’s honestly worked really well with few problems on their tablets. It’s not much for “real time” but I’m able to see day to day usage, block the tablet and really caps the time on there for my kids. It’s not easy to turn off from the kids devices. ✓ Thank You ScreenTimeRecently bought a Samsung tablet for my 7 year old for Christmas. This would have been his 2nd one as it was intended to be an upgrade since his previous one was not working anymore. He's a straight A student and all around good kid. Nevertheless I found the app ScreenTime and decided to download a few days after he received the tablet. Had no idea the web search feature would go back all the way to the first day of him using it. You can see all, even the searches they delete. Saw that he had been looking at very inappropriate things for his age, so needless to say he no longer has his tablet as I took him along to return it! I thought he was ready to handle it, but unfortunately he was not. Our kids are very curious, so even the simplest search can lead to things they are not ready to see via Internet. Had to have a lengthy conversation and remind him that mom and dad are your source of truth for everything. So a Big Thanks to the creators of Screen Time. ✓ Love thisWorks like a charm with our androids. I can pause her access any time, like when supper is ready, or we need to do chores, or she broke a rule. I set up several time blocks, so she can’t access her phone during school hours except to text me, and that it does work when she rides the bus, and when she has homework. Calling is always permitted, in the event of an emergency. With the monthly fee, I track where she is, like to determine how far away the bus is, or if she is playing at her friend’s house like she is supposed to be doing, or if they disappear to the swimming hole. I can block any particular app at any time. The only negative is that the web site tracking app only works with marshmallow or [something else] which we don’t have. ✓ Pretty good, but a bit buggy.(If you want the summary, skip to the bottom) Im a teenage boy, and I admit I used to be way to addicted to my phone. I only ever played Final Fantasy, and my grades were suffering because of it. my parents wouldn’t help, saying it was not their problem, so I took matters into my own hands, only allowing 1hr of game time a day. I would give it a five star review, but like the title says, a bit buggy, sometimes it wouldn’t allow any time, and some days there would be no limit. and as you can imagine, that’s counterproductive when your goal is to STOP addiction. But overall, it worked, when I decided I was less addicted and was confident I could remain unattached to my phone and Final Fantasy, I decided to delete the app, problem was, I had deleted it when Final Fantasy was blocked, and so it remained. I re-installed it, but it still locked me out for the next month, it finally let me back in and I was sure to delete it when I wasn’t locked out, buuuuuut... all my progress was wiped clean. If your kid is suffering from phone addiction, like I was, I HIGHLY recommend this app, but make sure to uninstall it when the apps are not blocked, if you so chose. Sorry for the long text (I tend to write walls of text from time to time. ✓ Great AppThe app allows us to control our kids tablets. The scheduling and tasks are amazing and ensuring they are done with pictures is amazing. It’s very helpful all around. Time limits allow us to limit not only when but what they have as open as well. I honestly love seeing everything they download, to ensure they are not playing anything negative. Some things I would like to see: Across the board app lock out: I would like the ability to type in names of apps for Screen time to lock out completely. I understand they have to be approved to be used. Having this extra lockout would be nice. Lockout message and time: I couldn’t find if there was an option to set this. Seeing the message appear and disappear in five seconds, isn’t enough time or big enough on tablets. Currently it’s about 3 seconds. Being able to set the message to the main lock screen so they can clearly read it, when the locked window comes up, would be nice. Across the board Scheduling: Knowing when a family has more than one child, they usually all have the similar apps. Being able to lockout a specific app or apps (example: Facebook, Roblox, Minecraft, etc..) to everyone on the list would be nice as well. Messaging: a family message board or even child to adult(s) would be nice for distance, as well as. This would allow the kid to enjoy the app a little more, but I understand this takes away from physical talking a little. I believe it would make the app more fun, to younger kids. ✓ Genius App! Where have you been all my life?Easy to manage my kids' screen AND ensure they are getting their tasks complete! Set times for certain or all apps to be in bedtime or school mode so they have access to apps they might need. I LOVE the Pause feature which allows me to literally pause all access to their device during dinner time! Easy to set up and easy to use- it motivates my kids to choose a task and complete it for additional screen time minutes and I can approve extra time for them remotely. So when I'm running errands or at work, and they send me an approval request for a completed task (with a pic!!❤️)I can see it's done from anywhere. When their daily time limit is reached, they are LOOKING for more tasks to complete for bonus time. Truly an amazing app that allows me to help manage screen time for each individual child without a lot of time spent organizing or monitoring it. ✓ Great appI've used this app now for the best part of a year so I feel I have used it for long enough to provide an adequate review of it. Personally I haven't got any issues with the app and I'm unsure of the issues others seem to have with things moving. It works and does the job silently in the background whilst giving you the peace of mind that your child isn't spending too much time or being on it at the wrong time. ✓ Works really wellIt allows us to monitor our son's I-phone usage. We can set how long he uses it for. One of the best things is that it showed us, and him, that he wasn't actually using it as much as we had feared. When we set the limit to 2 hours per day he had a complete melt down. But actually he rarely goes over that and when he does, as long as homework is done etc. he can request more time. So a good app, good experience for all of us, installation was easy, so we're very pleased..Version: 2.99
✓ Almost 5 starsIt is a great concept and app. Love the block and how i can see what they are doing. Also that i can give the child more time as payout. It needs modifications though. For example my sister can take it off her phone whenever she wants there is no security to prevent this. I don't live with her and my parents are older so i downloaded it to help them. Also there were no clear instructions as of how the app works i had to figure it out by myself. It would be nice if it had first steps into the app. Like how to add time or why do the apps disappear after sometime the phone is not in use even though they are free to use. My sister complained that it makes her apps disappear as if it was locked when it is her free time to use and its true. You have to go into the app and press "get my apps back" i would be annoyed too. Its nice to help the parents needs but you also have to think about reason why the child would be annoyed. It is supposed to make them want to abide by the rules and if it makes them annoyed of course it would be broken. The nagging causes more trouble to the parents too..Version: 2.80
