✓ BEST PLANNING AND TACTICS APP EVER...Have been using W4D for nearly a year now and although it takes a little time to get to know, this app delivers. Parmi celles-ci, sauvegarde des GRIB des run précédents pour comparer la fiabilité à 48 et 96 heures, accès au GRIB GFS pour la couche 500mb et identification clair de l'isoplète 5640m, calque avec la base de donnée Active Captain... Mais ce qui est le plus appréciable, est la qualité du support technique. Les réponses sont rapides et au point. ✓ ExcellentJust the right balance between ease of use and sophistication - all the weather data and charting needed with powerful planning and routing tools without being overwhelming and over complicated. It is certainly making my sailing more rewarding and satisfying without being left feeling I need a degree in computer science like some performance sailing SW out there. ✓ The one I use the mostI have used a lot of navigation apps and Weather4D is now my favourite. Previously I was a fan of iNavX but recently I have felt it was falling behind and now with Navionics (used its charts within iNavX) becoming part of Garmin definitely time to look elsewhere. At first I treated Weather4D as just a very good weather app, but the navigation functions take it to a different level. Use it for route planning and tracking of each journey. Boat is a 36ft sailing yacht and I use my iPad/iPhone for navigation with external GPS and AIS links through a WiFi router. All connects seamlessly. Ideally I would like Weather4D to have a vector map option but I am happy as it is..HappyboatieVersion: 2.0.54

Although it looks like there is a steep learning curve, there is a free book on iTunes and I’ve gotten great help with quick and detailed responses via email from their support team. ✓ Most powerful navigation program and excellent supportThis program is unbelieveble powerful, to enjoy all of it you will need to read their help book, comes for free and is readble in ibooks with lots of short educational videos in it. I bought it as soon as it came out and used it extensively in the US and mainly in Canada. The charts are bought via geogarage and those folks are very helpful as are the weather4d guys. I had a problem on Saturday to get the additional weather program renewed and they answered within 2 hs. You have to look at geogarage to see which countries are covered and at what price, but those charts are excellent and for one year subscription updated any time.
