Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces. XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered.

Now, in XCOM 2, the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a force gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, and facing impossible odds, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to ignite a global resistance, and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.

✓ X-Com 2 MacBook Pro 13” Early 2015I have to say, having first played X-Com on iOS, this game has come forward miles! I think the production value is incredible and it does really take your characters to the next level. Graphically on my machine, I have to have virtually everything on the lowest settings, but it still looks awesome! The music and sound effects are cinematic, especially with a pair of bassy headphones. This is a huge game and the file size reflects it. The gameplay is involving with longer loading times on my mac. I would say that even though this isn’t made for my Mac, its probably the best game I have ever played. I just hope we get some more players, so I can have a game with someone online. Make sure you also have a mouse, as this could be tricky with a touchpad. Well worth the asking price… This is one of the best games I have ever played, let alone a Mac title..TinkieOfScunthorpeVersion: 1.0.2

✗ Great game, terrible code...This is a much improved X-Com franchise. Well designed, excellent gameplay, lots of strategy, great combat, simplified interface despite added functionality. Unfortunately the game suffers from thousands of glitches, random crashes, memory leaks. The code seems to be completely unoptimised and the game struggles even on high end i7 system with 8GB of high-end graphics and 32GB of ram… This makes the game faaaar less enjoyable than it is. I belive this game suffers from the same illness that kills many modern games - the greed for $. This makes developers release poorly coded, unfinished games with tons of glitches to start cashing in on a franchise and hoping to fix things with patches. Unfortunately patches do not come. Stick to the older XCOM - just as much fun and much more enjoyable due to better code. Also - do not forget that there is also an X-Com game that runs on your iPhone/iPad - it’s the older version, but again - just as fun to play for a fraction of the price..MZ-UKVersion: 1.0.2
