Also I find I will use other navigation apps when I drive on unfamiliar roads because it does not help you with speed limits. When it peeps, I don’t know what for? ✓ In app purchasesI was excited to try out this app as I saw on social media they had fun voices and features like locating speed traps and traffic information. Sadly, the app makes you pay for these services (speed trap info, voices and for no ads). ✓ Nice to have a gps with out data but it would be nice to have train and bus routes.I use this for travel mostly when I get lost sense I try to keep a map with me. Having bus and train roots would be nice to make things more covenant planing travel, but I can use goggle maps on WiFi when needed. Adding multiple stops would be a nice Feature too. ✓ Holiday detoursHi download the app & decided to use it while we are on holiday up near Berwick on tweed We traveled up from Cirencester to Peterborough & all was well but when we then went onto Ripon it just when a bit Lala The best route was the A1 & A1M how strange that the app was trying to take us on every back B road there The next day it did the same as we traveled up to Haggerston Castle also it was telling us that we were speeding (50)mph on A1M which is national speed limit (70) Other faults tried to take us the wrong way down a duel carriage way by the Angel of the north then the wrong way around a roundabout I think your software needs a bit of fixing but on the whole not bad HAVE SEEN WORSE Long way to go to beat TOMTOM Tony.Version: 2.11.12

✓ NothingI couldn't drive by following the wrong directions which this app was giving me. 19 years driver first time I found myself struggling to drive on the roads which I'm passing every week. There was no traffic on the road and it sent me from shortcut where was traffic light and I lost 2 mins for no reason! ✓ So much potential but....So I really loved the look and feel of this app when I downloaded it, so based on how it appeared, I spent a whole bunch of money subscribing to traffic and speed cameras and every other option available including buying some voices etc. Big mistake, I did all this assuming that as a navigation app, it would do a good job at that, but it routinely fails that test. Almost without exception I can enter same start and destination in Karta and then 3 or 4 other apps, most using OSM maps, and they will usually all give the same optimum route, but not Karta. In fact I don’t know that it has ever suggested the same route as the other apps. Just today, it wanted me to get off the highway and instead of taking the loop exit to go west, it wanted me to take the east exit and do a U-Turn! I have tried sending examples to technical support but honestly a navigation app has to be good at that before anything else can really matter. If they get that right, this is a winner, I think it is the best overall product for appearance, features etc except for the routing issues, so I hope they figure out their algorithm problems..Version: 2.13.02

✓ Needs more improvements to be perfectThe app looks good but it stills lacks/needs a lot of work. 1.) It does not show SPEED LIMIT on all streets. 2.) It does Not State the Exit Number when exiting from highway. 3.) It does not have an Active Lane Guidance ala-Navigon/Sygic 4.) It needs to have a Panoramic View where it shows part of the clouds ala-Sygic/Navigon (I believe it looks better that way instead of showing just the streets) Please work on this and this will the perfect app like the Navigon was before Garmin bought it..Version: 2.17.05

✓ Honest reviewThis GPS app is descent not great. Basically it an offline gps app that allows the user to use gps without internet connection which is super. Couple things that I found out with the app. First is that it can’t correctly find the location and it can’t give you a accurate exit routes. The display in the app to where your doing does not display the exit on the highway, which is super important if your traveling and need to know the exit, not hating but it can help. Second thing I’ve noticed is that the app can’t show the places that are nearby to stop. Example, say I’m driving and I noticed a place I want to go to but don’t physically want to go inside, I would appreciate it if I could simply click on the place & check important information about the place. Last I definitely would like to see a upgrade to traffic around the area. What I mean is to see if any road blocks, construction or high traffic. There is some good things about the app that I like and I really would like to everyone that worked on it. Also side note give me better suggestions and places to avoid..Version: 2.10.13

✓ Poor OpenStreetMap-based navigation appKarta GPS has so much potential and looks pretty on its face. But when you actually try to use it you realize their OpenStreetMap data is wayyyyy outdated (like over a year) and navigation instruction is poor in many locations. When you contact support they respond to you and say they will work on the error and it will show up in the next maps data update, but that update never happens. As it sits, this app hasn’t been updated in 6 months. And even the problems I reported over 6 months ago have not been fixed in the last update. I get the impression this is a very low budget service and they can’t pay anyone to do the basic business of keeping the app running. If you’re looking for a good offline maps GPS app, you’re better off checking out Magic Earth or Here Maps. Neither of those are perfect, but at least they keep their maps and app updated and get you where you need to go..Version: 2.43.02
✓ Doesn’t download U.K. mapsI tried for the last 3 days to download the U.K. maps. It starts to download it gets to about 75% then it stops downloading and saying can not download please connect to the internet when I am already connected. Once this bug is fixed maybe I can try it. ✓ ReviewNot a bad app, however when I chose a route from the several it gives me to choose, the app changes by its own mind. When in the freeway it tells me to exit to then go back in the free way again (in areas where there's no traffic). If I'm in a straight street with adjacent ones, it tells me that I'm not on the street where I actually am. ✓ Cancel culture liberal appIt has the voice of Bill Clinton and “Joey B” but Republican presidents are ignored. I use it only to avoid Google or Apple Maps as the search function is pretty good. Although it will oddly show preferred vendors hundreds of miles away first before showing local results. If I know the address of where I’m going I’ll use Guru Maps or Sygic or OSMAnd Maps. Tried multiple addresses in my town and can’t find any of them. I entered a few random addresses in Phoenix, about 10 miles away and it did find them but could not find my dad’s address in CA. My neighborhood and surrounding areas are 20+ years old so no new streets or numbers. Tried to use the support link on App Store page but it just takes you too a website telling you about the company. So far not impressed. ✓ Room for improvement but a good start!As the title says, fantastic for a free app. Willing to pay if a few bugs are sorted out, eg, Apple car play works well, no issues syncing. Navigation has a couple of glitches when routing (taking a scenic route at times). When connected to Apple carplay, there is NO WAY to insert a new destination. I have to turn my radio off or disconnect to start a new trip. Be good to have the speed displayed (only an alarm pops up when over speed) I will keep this on my phone for offline map access.
