Focus Matrix is a smart personal organizer based on the so-called Eisenhower box, a personal productivity strategy created by Dwight Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. The principle uses a special priority matrix that helps break your tasks into several groups depending on their urgency and importance, and work your way through your daily agenda in the most efficient way possible. This app will help you focus on what really matters, and get rid of the things that can be painlessly delegated to others or postponed indefinitely until you have time for them.

The key features:

- Two views: Matrix and List of Sections
- Move tasks between sections using drag-and-drop
- Maximize a section to get a closer look at its content
- Use the “Unsorted” section for tasks which are needed to be sorted by quadrants
- Set “All day task” to plan tasks for the whole working day
- Sort tasks by title, due date or manually
- Assign due dates to tasks
- Set reminders to never miss an important deadline
- Tasks that are approaching their due dates are automatically carried over from the Not Urgent category to the Urgent list with user notification
- Delegate tasks by email, messages, etc. (through the context menu)
- Task lists can be shared to Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Editing of multiple tasks at once
- Copying and pasting of tasks within the program, as well as from/to other applications

Focus Matrix is free to download and use forever. However, if you want to access the Pro features on all your iPhones, iPads, and Macs, you can upgrade to the Pro version. The Pro subscription comes in three different options: Monthly, Yearly with a 7-day trial, and Lifetime (one-time payment).

Payment will be charged to your App Store account and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Subscription may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in your App Store account settings.

✓ Really GoodThere’s a couple of minor irritations that would take too long to explain here. Overall really good. Keeps me on top of my organisation..Absie197Version: 1.3.3

✓ Desktop is great, iPhone so-soAfter spending a day researching all the apps that incorporate Eisenhower matrix (which Stephen Covey repurposed) this was one of the better ones set up to go. Visual layout very user friendly on desktop but iphone, for me at least, didn't feel as good although again, it's one of the better EIsenhower ones as it's focused on it. What would make both of these apps really shine is if it integrated with reminders. I actually don't use my calendars as much for tasks but reminders I often use as I also incorporate GTD. If this can be implemented, will make 5 stars.Nooo likeVersion: 1.5

✗ Visually and functionally good, but privacy policies dubious.The privacy policy is at best poorly written and could be clarified to not give the impression that any user content can be used for whatever. At worst, that is the actual case - so I'm not putting any more of my personal data into this until the policy is improved..FrogmanchrisVersion: 1.6.2

✗ Not bad, but no longer supported and needs improvementsThis is a neat little app, but missing some things, and not really worth the $9.99 to upgrade to Pro. Would be a huge plus to be able to customize the box titles (Important & Urgent, etc.) as there tend to be many different names used in the Eisenhower matrices... for example, often the lower-left quadrant is labelled 'Delegate' instead of Not Important & Urgent. It seems small, but having the ability to edit those labels would allow the ability to use this in different ways. Another huge improvement would be to have the ability to have multiple separate matrixes, like one for work, and one for personal. As it stands now, there is only one, which means i have to mix my personal and work stuff together, only separating by tags, which isn't really desirable for those of us that want to separate work from home life. If those 2 functionality changes were made, this easily becomes a 5 star app for me. Sadly, it seems that this is no longer supported by the developers outside of basic rare updates to keep up with any MacOSX changes..RikiTikiTavi13Version: 1.5
