✓ Please allow split screen for iPadsI love the app and it’s really easy to use but I find it really difficult having to switch between writing notes and then back over to read the textbook on the app. It could be so much easier if it would just allow the split screen feature so I can write my notes while reading the textbook instead of having to go back-and-forth.Version: 8.5.267
✓ Best app ever!I will only be taking courses that have this app available from now on. I have severe ADHD and was struggling significantly with studying. The read out loud feature is incredible in comparison with apps offered with other text books. It is not monotonous or computerized and is so easy to listen to I can get through several chapters easily at a time. Has definitely saved my grades!.Version: 6.8.227
✓ Love The App, Needs Offline Narration and ZoomI actually love this app a lot, but I was really disappointed when I downloaded a textbook for listening while I was out and found out that you need internet to hear the audio. Don’t advertise it as learning everywhere, on or offline, if I need internet to learn the way that’s best for me. In general, this is an amazing app that offers a really great way to use textbooks, and I love the ability to take notes, make journal entries, watch videos, etc. I highly recommend it. But please fix the narration, and add a zoom option for reading!.Version: 6.3.193
✓ Still quite a few bugs that could easily be fixedI love that I can listen to the chapters while commuting our biking. However, it’s annoying that the app does not hold my place when I switch from audio to reading or vice versa. I have to constantly search where I last left off, sometimes just rereading a section. It also doesn’t mark what I’ve listened to as part of my progress & shows many chapters incomplete..Version: 8.3.260
✓ Good learning tool, but could use some updates.I use the app on my iPad and any time I come up to an exam it changes my screen orientation from landscape to portrait. When i move on to the next section it remains in portrait and I have to lift my iPad from its stand and lay it back on its side to go back to landscape. This happens even when i have the screen lock on. Please fix this! Also, probably at no fault of the app creator, in my current course i have found things out of order. For example I will have a section of reading and then a quiz right after that goes over a future section. This is a huge problem as it negatively effects my grade..Version: 6.6.214
✓ Listening and learningIt’s not perfect in its design and there are sometimes glitches, especially when playing audio, but overall it’s a great app and i love being able to listen to my textbook while doing other things..Version: 6.4.204
✓ Good concept, needs bug fixesI like the way the app is set up and everything, but sometimes the audio function does not want to play and you have to press the play button like ten times to get it to work — not the best for commuters. Another inconvenience is that sometimes it will read through the whole chapter, whereas other times the audio will stop after every page — again, very annoying when you’re driving or multitasking. Finally, I would like to see an assignments tab that clearly lists the writing assignments still left to do. Right now they are located sporadically at the bottom of the pages which makes it difficult to see what you need to get done, especially when listening to the audio. Please address these problems and this will be an excellent app!.Version: 5.1.159
✓ Pretty Good, Still Need a ComputerI love love love the audio function, which reads each section to me. It's a life-changer. The quizzes are well formatted for mobile. About 85% of the textbook is great on the app. The embedded charts, figures, videos, and the end-of-chapter reviews don't open in mobile, or don't open very well (mini mini font, lots of scrolling, etc.) So you do need a computer for that last 15% of the material..Version: 2.0.084
✓ Love the idea, actuality has some issuesI read someone else’s review that said the exact same way that I felt—and theirs was from 4 years ago so I don’t have faith the issues will be resolved. But the idea behind how this app works is awesome! I drive a lot so the read to me function is a life saver….when it works. Sometimes the play button won’t even do anything, sometimes it reads a whole chapter, sometimes I can’t get it to even go beyond the introduction. ✓ One of the best tools for online learning.I’ve tried many different forms of online learning and etext books, revel so far is the best. I love that the quizzes and due dates along with reading is integrated into one, they also hire narrators instead of just the standard robo voice..Version: 8.2.258
✓ Great app, with some major/minor bugs depending on your classThere are these interactive items in between the sections in textbooks for some classes like psychology. Like charts or graphs or timelines. They don’t work at all. I would at least like an option to look at the non interactive version of the figures, if the interactive ones don’t work. Everything else is great and I love reading here more than on a. Computer or sometimes even the textbook.Version: 4.1.120
✓ Poor updateThe reader does not work at all with the new update. When typing out an assignment to submit it will delete everything i have typed when i press the space bar. I have sent an email to support but it has not been helpful they only say to try and reload it. I did! Use a desktop…hello i am using the app because I have an iPad!!!!.Version: 8.0.248
✓ It’s really nice, but needs a little workIt’s super nice having a digital textbook but sometimes the functions glitch out and act super weird, especially highlighting and the concept maps. It’s annoying how it takes me back to the top when I change the color of highlights and sometimes doing that makes it drag all the way to the top and I can’t scroll down again. This goes away when I close the app and open it again, but still weird. As for the concept maps, I click on the first thing and there’s often a text box that doesn’t go away, covering up other text. Sometimes tapping it works but usually not. Thanks for making this stuff work as well as it does and I hope my feedback is helpful! I appreciate having a textbook on my phone and computer..Version: 5.1.156
✓ Good app needs some fixes thoughI listen to my text while working. It would be nice to listen to the whole chapter and then go back and take the quizzes without having to constantly attend to it. Having to arrow to the next section is annoying. Also, when you have a long section, say more than one minute and my phone closes it would be nice for the audio to continue playing..Version: 6.4.201

✓ Good, but lost quiz connectivityMore of 3.5 or 3.75. Overall, the app has been pretty good, for the most part. However, there was (1) hiccup that lasted about a week, where we couldn’t access our two allotted quizzes for the week. Most of us, it seems would get all the way to clicking on the questions, but then we would get a message of not being able to connect to the server or something to that effect. Thus we could not complete that week’s quizzes on time from those technical difficulties. Our professor said that they were unable to extend the due date for those quizzes, due to lack of an editing function within the program. They tried to contact Pearson, but were unable to resolve the issue with them. So we lost those quizzes. Quiz connectivity came back, and so far no further issues..Version: 3.0.106
✓ Great AppI can take my quizzes at the end of each chapter with this app? Awesome. I can read the chapters, highlight, etc.? More awesome. There is no way to bookmark a page, but the chapters are broken up by sections. The one issue that I found is that the app will glitch when I try to move backwards in the sections. I get up to a mini quiz point, and then want to go back a few steps. However, it will only let me go back one. If I click out and reselect part of the chapter from the menu, then it works fine. Otherwise, I enjoy using this app..Version: 2.0.083
