✓ RECALCULATE AND CONTINUE NOT WORKING!!After leaving the planned route I was expecting SCENIC to recalculate. That didn’t happen. Instead it seemed to freeze, displaying the last known position relative to the planned route. And after rejoining the planned route, I was expecting SCENIC to continue from there on to our destination. But no, the best it could do was display our position on the map, minus turn navigation. Not helpful!!! And yes, I have settings correctly configured to handle both scenarios..1zenguyVersion: 3.19

✓ Could be improvedSo far this App is good, however, what I’ve found irritating is- should you miss a turn or choose not to follow the route, the App won’t recalculate and calibrate a route according to the current road you’re travelling along. It keeps trying to get you to go back to the turn you missed. I’ve tweaked the settings and have not successfully changed it. Regular sat navs do this which are free, this paid for app doesn’t, which I find disappointing. Other than that, I would recommend it.Chili paniniVersion: 3.08

✓ Was my go-to app but not anymoreI really enjoyed route planning on the original app but the 2.0 version has a terrible UI compared to the previous version. I don’t need router recording, just an app with an intuitive UI for creating and planning routes. Going back to using co-pilot instead which is a shame because the UI on the original version of this app was intuitive and easy to use. Hopefully the developers. ✓ Bit of a disaster..Nice idea and neat app but never a good idea to rely on any app especially on which your life and safety can depend in which there’s absolutely zero support. And there’s zero support with this. Support option sends you to developers Twitter.. where you are then completely ignored. I’m in the UK and despite being a long distance rider search function is a total mess. When I search for my local bikers cafe a mile away from me all the results are in Indonesia! Type in the name of my childhood school a couple of miles away and the first 5 results are in Italy. Type in ‘local cafe’ or ‘ATM’ or ‘gas station’ its nearest result is in Brazil or Malaysia! This seems seriously broken, this app can’t find anything. I’ve ridden over 200,000 miles in 40 different countries and never come across an app so appalling in its geographic knowledge. Not sure orange too is the most appropriate colour for maps?.XpirexVersion: 1.74

✓ Poor navigation instructionsNot sure if I’m missing something but the navigation is near impossible to follow. I’ve tried it out on a few rides over the last few days and changed settings etc but it so disappointing and frustrating. I live in London and it seems the maps are out of date. I can drive for ages going through junctions and/or roundabouts without a single instruction and then she says turn left in 1000feet but I’m already approaching a T junction. I turn left and then am told to make a U turn. It’s just not ready for UK roads. I’ll stick to Waze for now but keep an eye on this as I love the curvy settings..DiddymanVersion: 1.74

✓ InaccurateI’m a paid up member and find the route generations a great idea, especially the loops. My two gripes are that at least 5 times on my ride, the map showed me approaching the turn off when I’d past it by quite a distance. I’m a slow rider but I’d expect a sat nav app to be accurate even if the rider is fast. Also, a number of times the speed limit was wrong. In each case the app was telling me that speed limit was 60mph but it was 30. These speeds limits are not new..SavingwhalesVersion: 2.2.9

✓ Shuts down whilst ridingI downloaded this the other day to try it out and went for a short tour around Kent - the curvy feature is great and it took me along some great little backroads that I would not have otherwise known about. There were some weird little bits where it wanted to take me down a cul-de-sac and do a U-turn but these were easy enough to ignore. Big plus is being able to download maps so that it works even when you haven’t got reception. And being able to plan a route with “via” points. Big negative is that it closed my iPhone down after around 50 minutes, and thereafter every 10 minutes or so - even when I’ve turned my screen lock off completely. I’m using a new iPhone 8 Plus. So, this makes it fairly useless on a bike, I had to keep stopping and re-open my phone, which of course I can’t do without taking my glove off. Thankfully I didn’t pay for the premium upgrade (voice commands, etc). Eventually I went back to Apple Maps cos now I was lost... which lead me back to the boring straight roads. Annoyingly I’d left this app open in the background and it just kept making a funny noise in my headphones as I was obviously not going on the route it wanted me too. ✓ So far not so goodI just downloaded this app Saturday night for a ride we were taking in South Carolina on Sunday. We were taking a trip from Greer South Carolina to a place called Bridalveil Falls in North Carolina. This app took us somewhere else really really far out of the way it was a fall but it wasn’t Bridalveil Falls. No I love riding my motorcycle but man was that a ride and since we didn’t know where we were going in the first place we were totally relying on this app and with respect to where we were going it failed us. When I downloaded this app I was super stoked if this thing can do all this and take pictures along the way and save your trip and share your trip and all those good things I thought this thing is great I pay 1095 year all day long however that wasn’t such a great trip..Lost in North CarolinaVersion: 1.74

✓ I'm still dizzzzy!I read the reviews and thought this was a great solution. We started on a motorcycle trip from Wyoming to the BMW Ralley in Tennessee. This app took us zigzagging through downtowns and residential areas (some of these were a lil sketchy to say the least!) When it should have sent us to the truck route. Although we requested no interstate it tried routing us to the interstate. We stopped and had lunch and had it paused after we were done and requested it to restart route, it tried to send us back to where we started that morning so we made the route from that point as a new beginning. We went in a compete circle...we followed when it had us driving on top of the "levy road" that turned into a two track gravel road. By following this apps route we have added no less than 5 hours into our trip. We would be ready to give up and it then seem to follow the paper map that we were using and we would think YES ITS WORKING! only to be fooled again! You have heard the saying "Fool me once shame on you,Fool me twice shame on me,Fool me thrice...THIS RELATIONSHIP IS OVER... DELETE!!! ✓ Ok - but serious issue for meYour app is better than most I’ve come across-I subscribed but THEN realised that it has a major failing. I live in South Australia and any longer ride North or North East means at least one if not several ferry/punt crossings over the Murray River. Your app doset allow a route to include any other water crossing other than a bridge. Frankly it’s a deal breaker for me and if it can’t be fixed I’d like my money refunded because the app is useless for me..MycirceVersion: 2.2.2

✓ Horrible GPS ReceptionTried many navigation apps that works sand ensuring I have good cell service, yet I keep getting notified that I have bad GPS reception in the Scenic app. The overall app is amazing. ✓ No sense of direction.I tried this for an hour. To get to my chosen route it sent me in the opposite direction and included useful suggestions like “do a U-turn now” when I was on the motorway. ✓ Needs a 3D view rideI was using rever. Switched to this app because this app is way easier to plan a route on the phone app but it is definitely missing the option to view your recorded ride. In the other app you can view a 3D model and moving replay of the ride. I may switch back for that feature.BinarypimpVersion: 3.19
