✓ A Better Sim City than Sim CityUPDATE (1.12.19): I've played this game for a while now and have found it to be challenging. Here's what you need to do: Go to YouTube, search for "PinStar" - look at his playlists and go to "Popular Series" - then watch "Transport Fever - Strategy & Tactics ("Transport Fever Strategy & Tactics #1: 1850's Hard Mode (Penny Pincher)" - THIS will make the game a joy to play! ***** Original review follows ***** I'm not experiencing any of the issues reported in other reviews and I'm playing on a 5k iMac with macOS Mojave. This is the Sim City I always wanted Sim City to be: allowing me to maganage a different aspect of things (not managing an entire city, but one corporate aspect). The graphics are stunning, the User Interface is great, and the game-play is wonderful. More campaigns would be nice, but the "free play" is great also. Like Sim City you also can set the speed of play from "normal" to "faster", to "fastest" and even pause the game. great for either time when you want a leisurely multi-tasking experience or a break-neck pace to get things done NOW! Very nicely done, very enjoyable. I have not experienced ant glitches or negative issues thus far. And thank goodness for a single-player offline entertainment. So tired of multi-player fair requiring always-on Internet connections and things. Plop this onto your laptop and while away those long waits at the airport, or whatever. And the price is right, too. Thank you for not GOUGING me for this. All in all, three thumbs up from me..Version: 1.4
✓ MagnificentIf you're looking to get absorbed completely in a transport logistics game, look no further. This is the yardstick by which others should be judged. It has its problems - the tutorial is inadequate and does not teach you everything, some of the scenarios are FIENDISHLY difficult to the point of nervous breakdown, some slight juddering in the graphics occasionally - but who said life was a rose garden?
