Needs fixingI really enjoy this app but a lot of the stories cut out halfway through and it drives me up the wall. I’m listening to Pride and Prejudice at the moment and the audio will just stop mid-sentence!.Version: 3.14.1

Good, but somewhat annoyingI was really excited to download this app and I actually fell asleep for a good 30 seconds. But I can never get a good story or sound out of it. The walking on sticks almost gave me nightmares so I have to ask how this is supposed to make me fall asleep faster. Also the stories are just so simple. The only one I could bear to listen to before I turned off my phone is the cat on a winters day. It started off peaceful and then it went outside, played with some fish on a frozen river, went back inside and slumped back down by the fire again. So if this story is supposed to be calming and giving out a joyful message, the cat moaned that it was too cold so it gave up and went back inside. It’s hard to describe why, but it put me in a bad mood until the morning. Sorry for the bad review, but this is my honest opinion of this app..Version: 2.8.2

Don’t do the trialWouldn’t recommend doing the trial as they take $64.90 (whole year subscription) instead of the monthly option first or even re confirming it with you! Not happy.Version: 2.6.0

Not enoughStarted off great but very limited titles . Already listened to all the stories only a few months a member Desperately needs some new content.Version: 2.4.1

Almost thereI’ve subscribed to this app for 4 years! Recently, I’ve noticed the stories just stop. It could be a 30 minute track, but it will stop several minutes before the end and just pause. This happens to more than 75% of the tracks I choose. It also doesn’t matter if I have the track looped, it stops before ever finishing the track. I used to love this app, it was so helpful, but now the sudden stopping of tracks actually wakes me up due to the sudden silence. Also, for the hundreds of options available, my “tonight in slumber” track has been the same one for 2 years! I don’t have that author as a favorite and I don’t listen to it, and yet, the algorithm never changes. Yes, I make sure the app is updated, as I’ve said this has been going on for a many months. I’ve just gotten so sick of waking up to slumber, when it’s supposed to help me sleep. This used to be a great app, but it’s absolutely gone down in quality. I’ll let this subscription end and find a new app. I no longer recommend this app..Version: 3.12.0

Ye Ye pretty good butI just wanted to say love this but I can’t afford premium can u add more books and change the people, who read there voice dose not help me sleep it is not soothingly so change that please thankyou it helps a lil.Version: 2.9

“Free this week”...Really love the app and it has helped me improve my sleep BUT my biggest bug bear is that the “free this week” section hasn’t changed in nearly a year. It could be so much better for free users if there was a monthly rotation of free sleep stories that gave a mix of meditations, longer stories and short stories as opposed to the same fixed menu all year round. This is why I think I’ll be ditching the app and switching to the podcast. As much as I’d love to buy the app in full...I’m poor and can’t commit to it yet 😢.Version: 2.8.2

Please add new sleep meditations...I purchased a year subscription because I wanted to listen to sleep meditations. However they haven’t really added any new ones since the pandemic started 9 months ago. They do add content, but it’s mostly story drones which keep me up. So I have to listen to the same meditations over and over which gets boring. Please start adding sleep meditations again. Especially in this time of stress and anxiety, we need that. Also they use to have a list format. They unnecessarily changed it to an image gallery style. Now I have to scroll for days to find what I’m looking for. I also cannot easily identify new content like I could before. It makes me think that they are trying to hide the fact that they aren’t adding much new content. If they would fix these things, I would gladly rate it five stars..Version: 2.11.5

A great idea if it worked properlyHaving used this a dozen times, I’ve only found 3 recordings that have music all the way through: in most of them, the music stops around a third of the way through, leaving just the voice. Uncushioned by the music, the voice breaks the reverie each time it recommences after a silence. When I contacted the app designer, they responded promptly and said they would investigate but I’ve heard nothing since and the problem persists on both iPad and iPhone, despite deleting and reinstalling the app. This is enough to put me off trying the paid version. Having said that, the few recordings that work are really very effective..Version: 2.6.0

DecentDownloaded for sleep stories and meditation. Sounds noises available are great too. Seems to be a lot of novels just turned into audio books. Or a description of nature/specific place (which may appeal to some of course!) They’re good stories I suppose but would be nice to have other stories such as fantasy/fiction that haven’t been pre written and/or already published by an author - or ones that don’t focus mainly on the location within the story rather than any sort of plot and include both of those aspects (these seem to be one’s written by someone employed for this company/app). Most stories I’ve listened to are either pre written/pre published by a different author, or about some type of journey through a location - with not a lot of plot involves and more descriptions of scenery (which if you prefer that personally and that’s great for you), but with the stories made from the app writer personally I find them way too focused on describing scenery so deeply rather than including that description but intertwined an actual plot as well. Meditations are nice, I have enjoyed them. Lots to choose from. Little to offer without a subscription - app is pretty much useless without being subscribed. And $53/a year can be a lot for individuals who are suffering with sleep/insomnia and wish for a sleep aid. I understand the need for subscriptions, but the price although lower than some other apps can limit a users ability to enjoy and properly use this app - or even have access to it at all..Version: 3.19.2

Don’t get itDownloaded this app and thought I was just trying it for 4 day free trial. Tried it for 1 night. Didn’t like it and deleted app. 4 days later iTunes account had $60 taken out for premium annual subscription which I had never agreed to. Ripped off..Version: 2.6.0

Too slowI find that all of the narrators speak way too slow..Version: 3.18.0

NiceI like this app. I wanted to love it but it's not exactly what I wanted out of a sleep app. All the voices are lovely. The white noise options are good. I wish I could delete the stories that definitely don't work for me. I have a hard time staying relaxed & I wish there was a meditation that focused more on relaxing each body part with the breathing. Even groups of muscles. The stories don't seem to work for me. I like the meditations better but they get a little weird sometimes with things like Echoing. That stuff just wakes me right back up..Version: 1.5

Not full access or not working properlyCan not access sleepy bedtime stories or if I open one it stops before completion Which is so annoying and defeats the purpose of relaxation!.Version: 2.4.1

Worst app everU have to Pay and there are boring sound effects or sounds, this app is boring and I deleted it after 4 mins straight away.Version: 3.3.3

I Kind of like it but nah I don’t 👎I don’t like it because you have to pay and your actually telling people to pay it’s annoying for me and if it’s for you guys just say so plzz help us sleep much more better and plus all the stories I love is for people that pay so stop 🛑 please..Version: 2.10.0

Wonderful app! This app has a lot of great features that no other apps on Apple Store has. And the meditations are wonderful. So many to choose from. I also like the sounds. My favorite it walking in the snow. Most of the content say welcome to slumber at the beginning and it makes me happy and relaxed to hear it because I know I am about to be calm and relaxed and ready to sleep. The voices are really good and many different people to chose from. Also you can choose the meditations or stories by the narrator which is great. You can also choose to have whatever you are listening to to repeat 1 or 2 times or even on continuous. That is a great feature that no other app I have downloaded has. The price is also really nice. The other thing I would like is more hypnosis meditation but there is about 3 I think already. And maybe more audiobooks. But if you like fairy tales, you will like the audiobooks they do offer. I personally do not. The only other audiobook is a defective one and I do not like defective books. All and all though I would definitely recommend this app..Version: 3.12.0

Lovely app, but needs voice options.I love the idea of this app - it looks gorgeous and the stories seem like they would be brilliant; something a bit different to the usual meditations. For the price of the subscription, I would expect a more relaxing, professional voice reading the stories & meditations. Personally, I don't find the current narrator at all relaxing and can't fall asleep to his voice. Ideally a range of voices would be brilliant, but just one quality one would be enough to make me subscribe given the other qualities of the app. The soundscapes are really good, with excellent customisation options. For me though, there are other apps that provide good relaxation sounds so that alone isn't enough. I'll be keeping an eye on the app and will definitely subscribe if the narration is improved..Version: 2.4.1

No longer enjoying due to the changesHate the changed format. Very difficult to navigate and find Favourites. The artwork is too much when you are trying to wind down and relax! But mostly looking for the saved stories is now a problem and energy and time consuming. Bring back the old version. If it’s not broken- don’t fix it!.Version: 3.0.2

AnnoyingDan Jones and a host of others have such annoying voices. My goodness. Also, instead of telling a story, they tell you what not to do (think anxious thoughts). They go on and on about how to relax. So very annoying..Version: 3.1.2

Couple suggestionsThis app has been really helpful! I used to lie awake at night for at least an hour because my mind is going a mile a minute but now I fall asleep a lot more easily. I do have a couple suggestions though: 1. Would love to be able to see more of a historical timeline that tells you which story you listened to on which day and what time you started it. Right now it just gives you a streak number which tbh is a bit stupid because it isn’t always accurate. I’ve listened to stories before and then it doesn’t count them for some reason so my streak resets. 2. This happened to me last night for the first time but I guess I ran into an error in the middle of the story. I don’t know the specifics because I was sleeping when it happened but essentially, the story stopped at some point and then it just kept playing the soundscape in the background. Which is fine, I don’t necessarily have a problem with that if something goes wrong. However, it continued past the length of the story and just kept playing. And that’s the part that I think needs to be fixed because it ended up waking me up in the middle of the night which kind of ruins the whole point of using this app in the first place to fall asleep properly..Version: 2.8.2

Took annual subscription by defaultI didn’t find this app very helpful, but that may just be me. My criticism echos another review that after a 7 day free trial you are then billed the full annual subscription of £35 by default. The app is advertised as ‘in-app purchase’. Once downloaded you then normally expect to ‘opt in’ to purchase the premium version. There is no such option here. The first you know is an email billing from Apple. This seems to be ‘opt out’ which you only discover by reading the full T&Cs. Neither are you given the option to purchase a single month’s premium at £6.99. You are billed the full annual subscription. This is NOT an ‘in-app purchase’; this is ‘opt out’ or purchase by default..Version: 3.2.0

Not too badBarely anything is open and nothing loads for me. Meditation is my only comfort at night and it would be great if less things were “pay to get” and it would load..Version: 3.1.2

What about the kids?Content is great for kids, worth the premium charge, but I subscribed from my Apple account and need to use my phone after kids bedtime. Please enable Family Sharing so I can share the subscription with my husbands account and use his phone for the kids at night.Version: 3.1.2

App ok - content passable at best.Downloaded this app - and it is pretty good, tried the Cat’s Journey Dream story and it was really quite poor. The narrators voice was annoying, he clearly hadn’t rehearsed so struggled with words and the pronunciation was odd - drawing out some words in odd places in an attempt to make them sound more ‘dreamy’ I guess. Net result was it annoyed me and made me want to switch this app off! Quite the opposite result to what I wanted! Not sure I will risk buying any of the packs or renewing after the trial period I’m afraid. If you are going to give away taster content at least make sure it’s you best stuff!.Version: 2.4.1

Fantastic content but needs to improve technologyI love this app immensely and haven’t slept so well in years. Bethany sending me to sleep as she whispers Leaf in a Stream in my head is my most favourite thing in the world. However the technology is not great - sometimes I can’t download apps, and when I have, they don’t stay downloaded, I have to do that every single night. I paid good money for this app which I was happy to do as it sends me to seep beautifully when it’s working. I shouldn’t have to go to the lounge room to download every night or be reliant on streaming it nightly (I live remotely so my internet is dodgy best of times)..Version: 2.8.3

Almost perfectGreat app! There's nothing positive I can say that already hasn't been said, so instead of mirroring what others say I'll tell u what I don't like about the app. The only thing that disappoints me is the tone of the guys voice on the stories, he doesn't have a bad voice i would just personally prefer someone with a softer tone, the kind of voice that would sent anybody into a trance lol. Maybe an option to change the voice would be cool. Saying that, I've only listened to the first two stories but that was enough to make me look for another app..Version: 2.4.1

No customer service; app WAKES me up due to its faulty soundscape- DO NOT PURCHASEI’ve contacted the developers more than I can count in the middle of the night when I’ve been woken. The app stutters as wakes me and I’ve received ONE response, shirking responsibility back to me. I bought a yearly subscription and just tried to get a refund without success!!!! These people are not worth your money. Go to Calm, where you can be guaranteed customer service and nothing like the hideous tech issues that occur here. You won’t be ignored. From a shift worker who is well aware of EVERY sleep app on the market. Thanks for nothing.Version: 3.1.2

Jarring stories and narrationThe narration is just awful. It sounds like someone making it up as they go along. Rather than helping you fall asleep, the words and images project are confusing or lazy causing your brain to ‘wake up’ to make sense of it. E.g. “occasionally the snow was heavy and half the height of a cat” - plain awkward and not helpful when you’re mind is trying to switch off. Or “he went in the room and GOT on some clothes” - that’s not even proper English. Other images described are also not relaxing at all, e.g. “the cat was clawing at ice to stop from slipping.” It made me imagine fingernails running across a chalkboard...just what you want when trying to relax and fall asleep..Version: 2.4.1

Disappointed and annoyedI enjoyed the free stories and decided to try the free trial of the premium version. There is no way to unsubscribe from within the app this has meant that I have been charged £35 for a yearly subscription that I do not want. I am a student nurse and use the app to help me sleep after hectic night shifts within A&E and as you can imagine I do not have the financial stability to essentially waste a significant amount of money on an app, especially right before Christmas. I find it very sneaky and dishonest how they hide the way to unsubscribe and automatically put you on the yearly subscription rather than the monthly at a cost of £6. I enjoyed the free portion of the app but I think I will be deleting it now after this poor service..Version: 2.4.1

Scam!Do not download! They just charged me $50 for a one year subscription without my consent!!.Version: 2.6.0
