Hydra lets you create beautiful high-dynamic-range (HDR) images by merging multiple exposures, effectively capturing both dark and bright subjects to make it more natural or to enhance scene drama.

A single photo cannot represent the entire dynamic range of light in a scene due to the physical limitations of the sensor. The picture is either too dark or too bright, or both. Hydra allows you to overcome this limitation by merging a number of photos with different exposure settings and to create a natural image that is much closer to what your eyes actually see. Alternatively, Hydra can also artistically push contrasts to increase drama and emotions in your pictures beyond reality.

This new release of Hydra has been optimized for latest macOS enhancements and it provides native Metal support with maximum performance, in addition to a more modern and simpler user interface.

✗ Really tried to like itI really tried to like this app, I love the project layout of it, but the rendering engine and lack of controls just can’t compete with other HDR imaging software out there. I hope they get better..GeoDudeAusVersion: 4.0.3

✗ No Instruction ManualI went on to the help section and it then links to the developers web site- only problem (I have downloaded from the Apple App Store for Mac) and the only help that is available is for version 3.0 (I have paid a lot of money for 4.01) and the only help is for Hydra 3 User Guide iPad!!!! I do not have an iPad and have got version 4.01!!!! Very expensive even with the 25% discount for what it is. Will see what comes back as I have contracted the developer directly and hopfully will be able to amend this review - depending on their “help”. Don’t understand why this is “Editors Choice” - guess they have not looked at it very well when there is no help section for this software.!!!!!.Apple Customer 11Version: 4.0.3
