✓ This app is perfect...... if you want to understand how to thoroughly erode customer trust. Backgammon with strangers is inherently high in variance. In every free space, and in every free moment, this app asks you to spend money on the coins used to play. The way the game is set up, when you lose, you lose 100% of your stakes, but when you win, you only win 85% of the pot. That doesn’t seem so bad, reading it, until you break it down. To essentially break even, you have to win 3 games for every 2 you lose. Which means you can’t gain any ground unless you are winning considerably more than you lose. But as mentioned, there’s a lot of variance built into the game already. So, when you lose a game in an app that that captures every moment to pry a purchase out of you, it’s not much of a leap in logic to question if you’re in fact playing real people, or playing bots designed to regularly beat you in somewhat believable fashion. There’s no way for the user to know what’s going on, and the developers have made it abundantly clear that the only thing that matters is your in-app purchases. The app is fun, mostly because backgammon is fun. The app is good for playing with friends remotely. The app is poor for playing against strangers..Whatever nickname needs to be hereVersion: 3.71

✗ Not selling outI have been an avid lord of the board player and was addicted. But that’s all over now. 😩 So here’s my issue. It now seems you MUST connect through Facebook to login and start amassing your coins all over again..what happens to the coins people have bought along the way? I will NOT connect through FB because you have to not only start over but agree to the new conditions that have been set such as allow FB to share your information through the game and it’s website. As I have already been scammed by Mark Zukkerberg’s sale of information to have targeted advertising sent to me to do with my medical conditions and my football club membership, etc. I will not compromise my personal information any further. So it will be goodbye to Lord of the Board and FB for me. Shame! Shame! Shame!.Wk austrralisVersion: 4.16

✗ FRUSTRATING and disappointingDO NOT download, save yourself the frustration. Just deleted this app. Thought I would just play out the money I had spent, but can not take the frustration of playing against impossible odds. UPDATE: I have tried multiple different ways to enjoy this game. Playing the $100 games instead of the higher stakes but the outrageous dice are just too much. Tonight I lost 6 games in a row, to people who rolled multiple doubles, in a row. To people who were able to remove their chips from the middle on the FIRST roll with ONLY one slot open. To people who rolled whatever was needed to hit my one open chip. Sorry but your random generator that you keep talking about is broken. I really, really wanted to like this game, but the game is rigged. Multiple times the other player gets doubles, sixes and fives, rolls the one number they need to get out. Rolls sixes and fives, while you roll ones and twos. Save your sanity and find another game. So sad and disappointed..Lexismom61Version: 3.84
