✓ Random ReallyI have read many of the reviews. All having the same issue that the game is rigged and the dice rolls are not random. Well, I completely agree with all of those posts. The literally lost 50 games in a row, losing nearly 700,000 coins. That’s not random when you consistently play at around >60% win rate on other apps. Here’s the hook, after reading the reviews the game responses are the same for that particular complaint. I love the response for the “RNG” dice roll saying it’s random. SURE. I saw where someone posted the game draws 15% of the pot after the game. My math shows 30%. Played 2500 coin game won (when I did win a long time ago) and won 4250. ✓ Scam AlgorithmsI have it 2 stars becuz the graphics are great. However I’ve been playing Backgammon my whole life and the way this game has it set up I can now predict with almost 100% certainly what the next roll will be. Rarely(I I mean rarely) in my favor. Once you pay for any package they know they’ve gotcha and all of a sudden the odds are forever NOT in your favor. There are many other apps out there. Graphics may now be as nice but at least it plays fairly and the package prices are reasonable. Paying anything more $5-$10 for a package is theft - IMO. Update: Company got back to me and quess what? They’re sticking by their game and claim everything is legit. This after I caught them reducing my points after a match I played. The real problem is the rake on this game. Rake is the percentage of the pot that the house takes when you win. On the $8,000 table it is 15%! That is an insanely high percentage. A rake that high makes it very difficult to be profitable in this game. You have to play people who are much worse than you. This is a fact, not an opinion. Consider how much you have in the pot and double it to get the total. Now compare that amount with what you win. $8,000 X 2 - $16,000. When you win, you get $13,600. Anyone who knows anything about gambling will tell you that is a game you can't win in the long run against similar opponents. So play for fun, but do not buy chips! ✓ CheatsI think this game used to be a 5 star but lately people seem to get the exact roles to knock counters off or get out of trouble or block you in. Their response to this review is also lame. “Feel free to contact us anytime”. I DID CONTACT YOU. A “senior service rep” told me it was my internet connection when it clearly wasn’t. (When you have poor connection you time out and lose. I did not lose. I had to resign after five minutes because the game was just never started). I had screenshots with game Id and timers to prove it. Customer service still did not care to help. Yes this is a fun game with great effects and graphics but after the response from customer service I have deleted it and now play a different app. Original review: It is a fun game but the dice are clearly rigged. Also twice now the app froze (in high stakes games). When I wrote to customer service they said it was my internet connection. It couldn’t have been because the timer worked and the chat worked and there just were no dice. Game assumes the higher level player is the better player and around 99% of the time it ensures they have the dice to win the game, but everyone levels up if they play long enough and a low level player might simply be someone who’s only recently installed the app. Example... I frequently start bearing off first only to have my opponent roll 2 or 3 high doubles in a row. Or, if I hit an opponent whilst having a single in my home board they will magically roll exactly the right number to hit me, far too often for it to be chance. My opponents win the starting roll 100% of the time if they are higher level than me. Very frustrating. If rolls really were random this would be much more enjoyable, as it is I’m pretty close to deleting it. To the developers: thank you for your response, but the reality of the game doesn't demonstrate what you've said. ✓ Good app but intensely riggedThe reason I keep coming back to this game is because of how clean it looks and quick it is. However if you’re looking for a fair game forget about it. I suspect that the algorithm(s) is/are linked to your account balance as well as tracking other behavioural activities of how you play and when you resign. However, the games are predetermined to decide who wins, and it destroys any fun you get out of the app. To play and progress on the app you need to earn coins. You get free ones every few hours or you win them when you win a game. Crucially, the only other way to earn coins is to either pay for them or watch lots of adverts. The app is designed to make you lose all the coins you have so you are forced to pay for them. Even if you think you have amassed a lot of coins, don’t be surprised if you lose ten in a row, or are paired with a serial doubler and lose by a treble on top of that. You can tell who is going to win each game after a couple of rolls. I have even deliberately opened myself up to be hit when I can tell it is my turn to win and the other player will roll the only dice that won’t hit.
