This app sucksDM1 doesn’t work Moog Animoog doesn’t work DRC synth doesn’t work Moog model 15 doesn’t work I used this app when I had an old iPad and it worked way better with all of the above apps. Apps won’t “wake up”. I payed $15 for this pos and it doesn’t even work. I want my money back.Version: 3.4.26

Still feeling ripped offStill peeved that Audiobus 2 didn't work, like, ever, for more than ten minutes, and have held off purchasing 3 until now, like 5 years later, after 2 was discontinued with no upgrade path for paying customers. We shall see how this works out. Still hoping for a usable product tho..Version: 3.4.20

No GarageBand SupportCould not use GarageBand as an extension...to be more specific as an input..Version: 3.4.17

Huge issuesMic stopped working. Sometimes works then sound cuts off randomly on my ipad 4. Beatmaker 3 doesnt recognise audiobus either. Frustrated.Version: 3.0.6

Still just okEver since I got my 10.5 ...I bought BeatMaker 3...hoping to transition from my iPhone to a larger format...I mainly use NI iMaschine2...which is getting long in the tooth ..but I’m highly efficient and it is my goto pocket production tool. Moving on to the iPad I wanted a newer updated experience using some of my soft synths I love but couldn’t incorporate with iMaschine2 easily so I purchased AudioCopy to make it a reality... Honestly I hate the way I have to connect it through beatmaker3.. there’s no easy way to use it with out coming out of the bm3...I can’t change patches...it’s clumbersome..and don’t see a need to use it since bm3 can see most of my synths through audio units... So that’s a waste of money to me and for my workflow...it’s meh!.Version: 3.2.7

DisappointedI set up to hear on my headphones through my focurite with multiport’s selected and I can hardly hear my ouput on my headphones. Not good enough right away. Not an issue in garage band..Version: 3.4.35

Doesn’t deliverWanted an app to mix and sync Cubasis and GarageBand. Seems to do neither. Can get them connected but not synced. Pretty useless..Version: 3.4.33

Rubbish app, does not communicate between sampletank and cubasis 3Stuff I can do in an instant on a desktop daw is super complicated with audiobus. First, sampletank just takes forever to load and the side audiibus 3 controls don’t display the cubasis icon or the record button, cubasis 2 did. So all in all ,a very frustrating app to set up with sampletank and cubasis 3. I just use Garage vanilla without any e ternal instruments,Audiibus is just too complicated,I don’t know why the ipad didn’t use the super easy approach like desktop daws of selecting instruments..Version: 3.4.20

Was ACE. Now no longer working and seems unusable 😩Can no longer route audio to or from my interface since iOS 15 installed. Interface is class compliant, works with other apps fine, and is recognised by Audiobus (all inputs and outputs). But no signal passing. Very disappointed. Unclear how/where/why the problem exists or how best to troubleshoot. It has previously been excellent and was also running the MIDI control side with relatively decent functionality (albeit not ‘full’ control). Now it appears to be almost totally redundant app on my iPad… gutted.Version: 3.4.34

Problem with new update 13.1.1Ever since I’ve updated my iPad Pro to the new update 13.1.1 I can not use beatmaker3 with audiobus. There’s a bug that prevents it from up loading most of the time. And when it does load up into audiobus there is no sound that comes out of it. This only happens when it’s linked into audiobus. This is a big issue for me as I need to link BeatMaker 3 with Cubasis it was working great before the iPad update.... now it seams incomparable through audiobus? Can this issue be resolved?.Version: 3.4.9

No warning about iOS incompatibilitiesI want to love Audiobus but I showed up too late to this party. Bought the app without first checking the developer forum 🙄and I guess this makes it my fault that it doesn’t work properly within the updated iOS world and with GarageBand. I know the developer didn’t cause the problems instead it’s caused by the tight and difficult apple company, but it would have been nice to be informed of this in the App Store, and not hidden somewhere in the www. Trying to find solutions which require more app purchases like the fun but not to precise loopy, or perhaps ill skip this plan and go straight to AUM, $30 later... Bummer..Version: 3.4.6

What’s the hypeAudio out always drops. Using Amplitude and GarageBand, monitor turned on, this is hit and miss. Sounds better using inter app audio straight into GarageBand.... I must be missing something, not doing anything I didn’t have before, in less complicated format... not overly impressed..Version: 3.4.15

No recording of tracks or stereo mixIt’s sad that this app doesn’t have a simple, or any, for that matter, built-in function to record individual tracks or the stereo mix for export to other apps. Not everybody wants to open an entire daw or another app just to capture a few sketches. It’s a disappointing oversight, because with the state-saving, if it had this simple function, it would have been so much more elegant & useful for saving templates to capture sketches, exporting to samplers, etc, and only then going to a daw. Extremely unreliable with Cubasis, as well, so, damned one way or the other. Wish I could get a refund. Grrrrr..Version: 3.4.34

Extremely inconsistentThis version of the app is extremely inconsistent. Maybe it’s a matter of a needed update for iOS 13 but this app is the main source of frustration for me - it simply does not work reliably. The same two apps selected as INPUT and OUTPUT can work perfectly, can not work at all or somewhat work. Sometimes Audiobus mutes the audio of the input app, sometimes it does not, the app seems to act differently depending on in which order the apps are opened, and it’s impossible to find a pattern of its behavior. User spends way too much time plugging in and ejecting the apps trying to find a lucky combination of events that makes them work. This should be a straightforward app that simply connects, not an app that needs to be babied because this takes away greatly from the creative process..Version: 3.4.14

Support Isn’t SupportedNeeded help with basic philosophy (I’m from the elderly stacks of keyboards piled up around me and MIDI, patch, and TRS cable spaghetti world) in making Audiobus work for me live with my IOS-based classic synths but can’t even get the sign up page to work to ask the forum, so I’m finding the whole process frustrating. One star is merely a placeholder until I can actually use Audiobus as intended..Version: 3.4.35

Link to midi clock is all over the placeCan’t get a solid sync at all. Doesn’t ever phase cancel when testing. Doesn’t even come close. Had to revert to using link to midi which is rock solid. Link to midi doesn’t work on the latest iOS but luckily I remembered I had an old iOS so i still got rock solid sync. Sort the sync issue out. Link to midi is better but it’s no longer compatible.Version: 3.4.35

Extremely Pi%%ed offWith the latest update every session of mine has been removed from the session directory, so extremely aggravating. I want a refund to purchase an acceptable app that isn’t this unstable. Oh wow what another great find, my presets in all of my synth apps I had made inside of AB are now unavailable, and I’ll tell you, there were quite a few, a right “kick in the teeth” well deserved 1* and if I could go lower I would. Update: It was most definitely the app as it is only to do with anything that has been done inside of it, may not have been the update as I think I may remember the last thing I had done before updating thinking “oh there is an update maybe that is what the problem is” after updating no fix but the issue arose when I had plugged in headphones and it crashed, would not open after, hence why I had checked if update needed, updated but still would not launch restarted iPad it then opened but still nothing was restored. Just extremely agitated with the fact every session is gone, a lot of time wasted it seems if it wasn’t for this mishap it would not be a low 1* review but just stating it’s not the app doesn’t make it any better..Version: 3.4.10

Don’t waste your moneyLook for a better App..Version: 3.4.27

IssuesEven after the latest update the app is still glitchy and keeps shutting down. Midi flow splitter is shutting down also and then you have to go back in and split your sounds. I like this platform it allows me to do things others don’t. I’m a keyboardist that plays live and I rely only on my IPad. Hopefully this is fixed in the next few hours. Please help me out.Version: 3.4.26

Take NoteThe apps listed in the description above are not entirely compatible. Some of them can send audio or MIDI (Inputs), and some of them can receive (Outputs). Be sure to check the developer’s website to see which category your apps fall into before purchasing..Version: 3.4.35

Dunno why I bothered..I used abv1 a little back in the day. V2 borkt functionality but support wouldn’t have it. (Ouch). so I got off the bus eventually as i couldn’t take anymore. Went for all in ones (blip!blip!) instead and found myself more productive. realised having to open at least 3 odd apps inc. ab was just eh.. people sing its praises well bully for them. But ok, v3 deserves an nth chance what with new bellhickies and whistledoolallies? Nah. This inspires me not..my ios stats report this as “used - never”. as an aside, i suspect littledahls aum will be similarly befuddling...but its clear fannadores of ab/aum enjoy complexity oops sorry “options”...each to their own and stuff...Version: 3.3.1
