Best monitor ever especially if out from home or you have other care givers helpingWe love this monitor. The picture is clear and the insights are so helpful - we have really come to rely on them. It’s great being able to playback events if you weren’t home at the time. We love using the multi stand for when we are out of the house Only downside is that you must have good wifi at home..Version: 1.5.6

BEST Monitor EVER!We can’t get enough of the amazing new features that Nanit offers! Babies make SO many noises while they sleep and so having the Nanit Baby Monitor allowed me to look over and check on him but also be able to go right back to sleep so I actually got a lot more sleep then friends with other monitors and I was well rested to take care of him when he woke. The other feature I love is the data insights that helped us especially when we first had our son to track his sleep and create a schedule that worked best for him. Being sleep deprived and juggling the many new tasks at hand this was so helpful to have already logged for us so we didn’t have to track it ourselves. While sleep training our son it was so important for us to be able to make sure he was okay even when he was initially upset and had to learn to put himself to sleep. Nanit gave us great sleep training tips to help guide us too! He was sleep trained in 3 days! And I never forget to pack our multi-stand when going overnight somewhere!.Version: 1.5.6

Overall GREAT monitor!!The camera itself was super easy to set up & the app is mostly reliable. At times there are connectivity issues, but overall we have been very happy with this camera & app. This is our 3rd baby monitor. The 1st (not a Nanit) was recommended by a family member & had so many stability issues so we had it replaced by the manufacturer. The replacement was just as awful, so my husband did some research and came across the Nanit. We won’t ever use another monitor! One thing I do wish the app had was the ability to cycle through video feeds for those with multiple cameras. We have 2 littles, so have 2 Nanits. Monitoring both requires having 2 separate devices open to the Nanit app. It’s not a huge deal, but is also kind of a pain in the booty. Each night we tie up my iPad & iPhone so that we can keep an eye on both babies. Most basic monitors have the ability to cycle back and forth between different camera feeds, so I hope your developers will consider adding this feature..Version: 1.7

Much better than MikuWe had the Miku starting off with our newborn. It would crash, turn off randomly, the no breathing alarm would falsely go off all the time (which was terrifying) even when you had exited the app, and it had very poor quality video. It also made you go into the settings to turn off the breathing sensor every single time you took the baby out of the crib, which is near impossible to remember to do before you’re picking a crying baby up. After experiencing how bad a product could be, we were absolutely delighted to come across the Nanit. The best part is the reliability. Not once has the app crashed and I can fall asleep knowing I will be woken up by my baby’s first sounds through my phone instead of shrieking from the next room, as I did with the Miku. Also, not once has the no breathing alarm gone off. What a pleasure. It would have been a little harder to appreciate all those things if I hadn’t gone through the nightmare of the Miku! But honestly, the Nanit is worth every penny. I’ve recommended it to all my friends..Version: 2.0.3

Worth the moneyThe breathing wear allows you to fully relax and not worry. Having down time to properly switch off has been so good for my husband and I. Also it records when the baby wakes, so you can easily work out awake times - without this you end up guessing and can more easily lead to an overtired baby with early waking... Some considerations - 1) The floor stand does take up some space as set up like a tripod. Our cot has a drawer underneath which means we need to place the cot further out from the wall than we would like - mounting it on the wall would solve this. 2) The travel stand is a little light so more prone to fall when the nanit camera weighs it down - either mount it on a tripod to secure in place or place something on the bottom to keep it in place..Version: 2.3.4

It’s perfectWe have the Nanit Pro and got both the free standing stand (used when our daughter was still in her bassinet) and the wall mount (used over the crib). We also have the travel stand. We literally use the Nanit every night wherever we are. I love the built in white noise option (as opposed to having another machine) and flip it to the birds sound in the morning as the rise and shine sound. I love that it tells you the temperature and humidity level and allows you to set alerts so you can ensure your child is sleeping comfortably. I love how easy it is to add caretakers to your account. We’ve added grandparents, nannies/ babysitters (and easily removed as appropriate), and even visitors whose babies napped in our daughters crib. We subscribed to the sleep insights. It’s also been really insightful to see in aggregate how our daughter is sleeping, daytime and nighttime. The sleep tips are super helpful as they are tailored to what Nanit is observing. Obviously the algorithm isn’t 100% accurate but it gives way more information about our daughter than I could have ever imagined. Nanit also compiles adorable “memories” like a collection of morning pick ups. Very fun to watch months after the fact. All in all, super glad we went with the Nanit and have been delighted with every aspect of our experience. Strongly recommend..Version: 3.9.29

NanitWe bought the Nanit for peace of mind, it helped me relax that my babies were monitored and that I could check on them via my phone whilst I’m downstairs and they were in their cot. The alarm system is a great feature too, some of the products featured like the sheets and the sleeping bag aren’t available in the uk, but I bought them off well known shopping sites and the sleeping bag has been very well used! The first year was free and the second year I struggled with payment but contacted Nanit via Twitter and they were very helpful sorting it for me!.Version: 3.9.28

Love the NanitIt gives us a peace of mind when our precious boy is sleeping. We co-sleep with him, but sometimes when he’s in bed and we are not, we want to make sure he’s safe and we can reach him as soon as there is something concerning. Nanit sends a reminder every time when it detects a sound or movement. Sometimes it’s more than needed, but we would rather it’s more sensitive than not enough. We are happy using it until he’s totally old enough. We also enjoy the tips and a video combining some good captures of the month..Version: 3.8.9

NanitExcellent - always great quality vision and audio. Using dual cameras and the split screen is amazing. Could not live without it..Version: 3.11.15

Love my Nanit! So happy we saved up to get this super fancy baby monitor - it’s worth every penny! Not only can both sets of grandparents watch the live feed from across the globe, it also has many functions that gave my husband and I some peace of mind during our first few months as new parents. We also purchased and Owlet monitor when our son was born but once we saw how great the Nanit system was we returned the Owlet as we never ended up needing to use it. My husband especially loved this because he leaves early for work each morning, and he is still able to view our son whenever he is in his crib. The customer service platform is easy to use and relatively quick to respond, and they even helped us to set up a stand in addition to the wall mount we purchased (to make the monitor mobile and move from our bedroom to the nursery). The app is super easy to navigate too, and it comes with adorable sounds and music that will play through the monitor for your baby. Thank you Nanit for all the help you provided us during these first 5 months, and thank you for all of the help that I am sure we will receive in the future..Version: 2.2.4

Love it!This is an amazing monitor.. in fact it’s more than just a monitor. It’s very pricey yes! But do worth it. We can have our parents watch in on their beloved grandson all the way from Scotland on their phones. As they don’t get to see him due to covid they love seeing him In his cot - seeing how he is getting on. We also love it for tracking our babies sleep and I like that it doesn’t have a monitor screen that lights up our bedroom all night. My phone just alerts me when he is awake/ crying..Version: 3.5.3

Best monitor everI would 100% recommend this monitor to anyone... I absolutely love the fact that it’s app based and that I can check it at anytime. Easy to step up and use - very responsive..Version: 2.6.2

Love! Even when the babysitter is here, I still know how he’s doingI was reluctant to get the Nanit at first. It seemed complicated however, I can’t imagine not having it. It’s far more simple and user friendly than I thought. It’s nice to be able to be talking on the phone and still know if my baby wakes up or needs me. It’s even better to see that he’s still sleeping soundly at any given time. I believe the Nanit has helped me to help my son sleep better because I no longer have to physically go into his room to check on him, reducing the risk of waking him up. I can see and hear everything I need to right from the phone. The amount of times he has made noises in his sleep and actually did not need me to intervene is crazy. Without the nanit, I would have been in there likely waking him unnecessarily. I love that it provides me with the sleep stats and how long he has slept for. Even when we get a night out, I love that I can check in on my baby and it provided me with peace of mind..Version: 3.11.19

The best Baby item we own!I’m so happy we splurged and purchased the Nanit. I love being able to check in on our baby no matter where I’m at. Last week I had to be out of town while my husband watched our son …he was worried he wouldn’t hear the baby in the middle of the night. While I was in the hotel miles away I was able to help monitor and call my husband when the baby woke up for a night time feeding. It was so nice not to feel “disconnected” even though I was so far away. My two other favorite features are the nightlight and white noise. I believe both of these features have given us our great success in sleep training. If our Baby wakes in the middle of the night for a feeding the night light is so soft, it doesn’t give him too much stimulation where he springs fully awake. The white noise is so peaceful - our little guy loves the birds. I cannot recommend this item enough! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 3.2.5

Could not be without my NanitAs a new mum, the Nanit has give us so much comfort over the last 6 months and I think having never used another baby monitor we’ve been quite spoilt. I was worried being in the UK the customer service wouldn’t be as good but it’s been fantastic. A few minor bugs on the app but they get resolved really quickly. Don’t listen to any bad reviews, it’s an amazing piece of kit. Our best purchase..Version: 3.10.2

The best I love it.The nanit was the first and only camera I have used and I wouldn’t want to use another camera. The insights are the best I’m glad I get to use it for free for a year wish it was included indefinitely. But the clarity is amazing I can actually see my daughters lashes and see whether her eyes are open or closed love that you can zoom in. I love having it on my phone it’s the best. I’m a nurse and I work at night so being able to just go onto my phone and take a look at her is priceless it doesn’t bother me not having a physical monitor in hand. I mean I’m usually on my phone anyway and can just click into the app to look. Only downside is it obviously drains your battery ALOT but that’s kind of expected I mean it’s streaming live on your phone. I just make sure I keep my phone charged. I’m the type that doesn’t really write reviews but I read reviews all the time to determine whether or not to get something and I’m so glad I purchased this camera. Trust me if your having doubts just get it..Version: 2.1.10

It’s the best Jerry,The best..Version: 3.8.3

The best monitoring systemThis baby monitor is the best available. I love all the features it has, and it gives me peace of mind putting my baby to sleep while I can do things around the house..Version: 3.11.8

Excellent CameraI have no complaints about this camera! The video is good, it has a night light that is helpful for night feedings, it has white noise sounds, you can easily take it travelling. The app also sends you helpful age appropriate tips! I would highly recommend this camera to anyone!.Version: 3.11.20

Nanit reviewFist time mom here- I really like nanit for the peace of mind of breathing pace and temperature/humidity gage. We were getting quite a few red alerts- when I sent the info to nanit they said that she may be too small and the camera may be too high to get an accurate read. With some back and fourth, they sent a mobile stand, free of charge, which has helped. I wish they made other options for swaddles- they seem rather tight (she’s 10 pounds so not quite ready for the bigger size). We are trying a love to dream swaddle with the breathing band, which was recommended by a nanit team member. our baby is over stimulated quickly, and we are working with her on her sleep.. needless to say we are very aware and and track her sleep. The data seems to be a little off- her times never align with the times that I have on the huckleberry app for when she is in her crib or how long it takes her to fall asleep. Our baby grunts and moves a decent amount while asleep, but the camera reads it as she is awake during that time. We bought this because of the ability to see her breathing rate, which has been very helpful..Version: 3.6

Great to use for newborns, new babies up to 1 year, wish I new this soonerIt has been great to use for our newborn up to 1 year, no doubt everything bells and whistles (night mode, sleep mode wave sounds and other sounds, two way talk, easy to control form phone, the sleep monitoring and the sleep wrap to monitor baby’s oxygen). No other one has been comparable for this newborn infant stage. Another baby on the way and we debated getting a second camera for nanit but way to expensive not worth it and that’s because once one baby gets mobile and moves around or is toddler, and u want camera u can rotate in and around room remotely, nanit is not for you, trust me, so we will keep nanit for newborn and get different camera for older child. As far as I can see I can’t find now that is as good as nanit but also pan/ tilts with the camera… there are better priced remote rotate two way talk cameras that work really well, but nanit is not it for toddlers. I wish they would make their camera tilt/ pan mode, because once toddler starts moving around ur Going in there and repositioning camera all the time or if u have a babysitter u can’t remotely reposition camera :/. However I do recommend nanit for newborns..Version: 3.11.22

How to buy in AustraliaPlease let me know how to buy in Australia!!.Version: 2.0.9

We love Nanit, when it consistently works! The Nanit has many great features that not all baby monitors have. For example, we love the sleep insights and stats on how sleep latency compares to other infants the same age, tips on how to help baby fall asleep on her own, etc. The notifications work well and promptly let us know when the baby is moving around or making noise, and we love how you can adjust the sensitivity. The downside: with more complexity comes more room for error, I guess—in some places we’ve visited, we simply can’t get Nanit to connect, even when not that far from the internet modem. Currently, our Nanit loses connection periodically so we don’t get consistent and continuous data from each night. Not sure if it’s related to the connectivity issues, but occasionally it counts the second nap as the start of the night and doesn’t seem to register that our baby was up for another couple hours after that nap ended (skewing her data for the night and across nights- such as bedtimes and how much time she spends awake in the night). In the grand scheme some of this is relatively minor given the main function being met most of the time (we are generally able to monitor our baby) but we wish it were more consistent and would expect a bit more reliability given the reputation and price of the product..Version: 3.11.19

Love love love! This is my first kid and my first monitor so I don’t really have anything to compare it to besides those grainy images or sound only machines you see in the movies. I love thé Nanit. I’m so happy we made the investment into such a great machine with such an easy to use app. I think once a month it loses connection, but I get out of the app and back in and we’re back in business. I recommend the Nanit to all my pregnant friends- and even strangers!.Version: 3.8.6

AwesomeI was REALLY hesitant to spend so much on a baby monitor since you really just need to see them and hear them. Everything else is just extra. But I also wanted something reliable, with good video quality, and a decent app. Ended up biting the bullet and bought this but once I started using it and using all the features myself WOW I was super glad I got it! This thing is awesome. I use the baby wrap to track my sons breathing and it’s amazing. Yeah you don’t NEED all the extra features but man once you use them you won’t regret it at all. We also have him in his own room and it’s our first baby so knowing that we are tracking his breathing helps ease our mind just a little. If you can afford it BUY IT. I might even pay to keep the features going past a year and when I bought it I said I would NEVER pay for it since it was already pricey. Anything baby related has so many mixed reviews but I don’t see how someone can not like this thing. Great purchase and the app works great..Version: 3.9.19

Worth. The. Money. Spent. If Ure u sure about spending twice the amount of money on this baby monitor as opposed to the majority in the market.. let me tell u.. go for it! As first time parents we splurged and it has been a god sent! The peace of mind that every little movement and noise is sent to our phones as a notification is probably the most understated feature. All night white noise (research shows the white noise machines with timers are no good!), temperature alerts, activity viewing of the events of the night are all brilliant features..! It even (accurately!) tell us when our baby falls asleep and wakes up! Truly a brilliant piece of smart equipment essential for any parent!.Version: 3.8

Really pleased we invested in this cameraI spend ages reading reviews on this product, and was dubious with people saying they had connection issues. Camera was super easy to set up, we had to have on the room stand when our baby was in our room as no wall space next to our bed, and didn’t want to purchase the floor stand also. So this meant when In a small cot we couldn’t use all the features, like tracking her sleep. But we could use the breathing functionality, which is great for a newborn. Since our daughers in her room we’ve used this all the time, great features of tracking her sleep. Giving us sleep tips, the nightlight we use regularly, music features. It’s just a lifesaver in terms of logging data when your half asleep. For the price it’s so worth it. My only disappointment with our daugher being in her own room, and it’s winter the breathing bands are not pratical, as she’s in a thick sleeping bag. I’ve seen Nanit now make sleeping bags for this reason, but don’t ship to the UK. Which is super annoying, as it means we can’t use that feature really. But would recommend to any parent..Version: 3.0.1

Ash_05aceGreat to watch baby, just received travel stand and case to use for our first holiday!.Version: 3.4.5

Best MonitorEven thought we have had a few “connection” issues. This has been by far the best investment we have made for ourselves and our now toddler. I love that I am able to see our baby’s room/crib no matter the distance. I have gone travel for work and still able to see and tell my daughter good night thought the monitor and app. I love the temperature and humidity features in the app, specially on those days my baby is sick. The integrated light is a ++ specially for those late night and early mornings and middle of the night accidents in bed. Just enough light to see but not too much to fully wake baby up. The integrated white noise feature is pretty amazing too, if for some reason I forget to turn on our white noise machine and I’m out of the room already, I don’t have to go back in and turn the machine on, I can take advantage of the app and monitor and turn on the build in white noise. Pretty awesome. Lastly, the different stands make the minutos adaptable .. you are able to move it around if needed with the stand or set it up in the wall with minimal effort. Super easy to install. I would definitely be getting a second one and also use the breathing and heart rate feature that comes with the extra accessory the monitor provide. I wish I got this monitor sooner..Version: 2.2.2

Works greatLove the app works great I love that I can watch it from anywhere and keep the screen up even when I’m looking at other pages or videos. Sound quality is great love that it has a white noise feature. The picture quality is also great. The only issue that I always have is the app never allows me to turn off the camera unless I completely close it and reopen it then I can turn it off otherwise it won’t turn off it just stays stuck trying to turn it off..Version: 3.11.11

Essential must-have productThe ultimate tool for peace of mind, that’s stylish, portable and has all the tech bells and whistles you need. Monitoring temperature, humidity, breathing (great for wheb you’re bub first learns to roll or starts sleeping on their tummy) and with a camera quality and zoom functionality that is unparalleled. Recommend to every mum I know!.Version: 3.8

Amazing device/app, breathing monitoring for peace of mindI was a skeptic to be honest, but I love this little device and the data + breathing monitoring assurance. I’ve found it to be seemingly pretty accurate especially when it is able to accurately show her breathing rate increasing consistently right before a wake up for example. The video history has been really handy when we want to go back and watch over a fun moment (learning to roll). Would recommend.Version: 3.11.22

Amazing baby camera!!Nanit is the best and it is worth the price..Version: 3.11.19

Great app and easy to useWe’ve been using our Nanit for the last 8 months and it’s so easy to use. There are obviously 100s of baby monitors out in the market, but we chose the Nanit because of all the features it provides and how quickly you can access things through the app. The dashboard is so handy when you need a reminder of how much sleep your little one has had for the day. We’ve also used the breathing wear too, so it’s great for that extra piece of mind to see your baby’s breaths per minute especially if you regularly wake up at silly o’clock in the morning! I would highly recommend..Version: 3.6.1

Absolutely amazingI was a bit sceptical at first of my husband buying this monitor as our little boy turned 1 the day after it was delivered. The Angelcare monitor we had before was one of the best in their range and I didn’t know how that could be topped. Well... this absolutely knocked it out the park! The fact we can have the monitor on any of the Alexa ‘show’ devices in our home is ideal - so we can see our little man no matter what room we’re in. We also have the app on our iPad which obviously we can move from room to room AND access the app/ camera from our mobile phones for if one of us is out at his bedtime - we can say goodnight directly through the app to the camera. This helps soothe him. The camera is so clear it’s unbelievable and then the sleep updates you get - telling you when your child fell asleep and when they woke up are fantastic. It helps to get a better idea of when they will next be getting tired and just to plan their naps more efficiently. Massive thank you to the creators of Nanit!.Version: 2.2.1

Really great monitor, some minor issuesBy and large, this is an excellent baby monitor and app. The picture is very clear, it was incredibly easy to set up, and the app is very reliable. I no longer use a serrated app to track sleep because this is so accurate. That said? There are a few issues. Occasionally the app doesn’t connect to the monitor. This is an issue when I’m trying to turn on or off the light to change a diaper or not disturb a sleeping baby. I have to open and close the app half a dozen times before it works. This happens a few days a week. It also should be possible to toggle night vision on and off. Sometimes there is clearly enough light in the room for the camera to be in standard mode, but it auto changes to night vision anyway. That’s a bit annoying. The price of the app is also obscene, especially when the camera is already so expensive. I’m hoping the year of insights included will more than take us through sleep training so it won’t be an issue, but it still seems like a slap in the face after buying such an expensive monitor..Version: 1.6.5

Love it! So easy to use!We love using Nanit. We don’t upgrade and it is still amazing!.Version: 3.9.23

Very happy with out NanitIt did everything it said it would. Would absolutely purchase again..Version: 3.11.8

Great insightsSometimes insights are off with timing of when baby woke up. And I wish the app gave access to 24h footage without making you pay extra vs only if baby made a noise or woke up..Version: 3.11.20

We love our Nanit! We started using our Nanit when our baby was 5 weeks and started crib sleeping. It gave me so much peace of mind seeing his breathing stats and prevented me from running into his room to constantly check on him. Even now at almost 3 months, we still love our Nanit, although we don’t always use the babd and breathing features because he sleeps best in his magic Merlin suit. However, the other features are still so useful at detecting motion, sound, the highlight for nighttime feeding, etc. We even pack the Nanit for trips home to Canada, I refuse to go a night without it..Version: 3.11.19

Needs rotation and zoomGenerally a great system but given the hefty price tag you’d expect better functionality. The system is designed to be used along the long edge of a cot for the insights to work properly which is inflexible. For bedside cribs that open onto the parents’ bed this is absolutely not an option. The system is unable to rotate the orientation of the crib in the setup so the parent pick up zone is incorrect and the video takes in half the adult bed and most of the bedroom! The floor stand is super tall (and another large additional cost) which means the baby and crib are so far away from the camera that you lose the detail. You can manually zoom each time in live mode but the image then becomes quite pixelated. Both could be fixed with updates but for some reason they haven’t been included thus far..Version: 2.1.10

More Pros than ConsWe love the nanit video quality and ability to access from the phone. Here’s a list of pros and cons: Pros: - multiple users can access from their devices - is compatible with iPad and the screen adapts and sizes appropriately - good quality video - built in white noise sounds you can turn on and off - if you’re playing apps or music on your phone while running nanit in the background, nanit will reduce your other apps sound so you can hear baby. Very useful feature - has other accessories like the band and swaddle. We have both but haven’t tried quite yet Cons: - we love that it reads temperature but if you have the wall mount, it’s reading from 6 ft height which leads it to be 3-4 degrees off versus crib or bassinet height. I bought a cheap hydrometer to adhere to the crib to confirm it’s a few degrees off - your app has to be open to see the screen. We run it on an iPad that we have unlocked 24/7. If they had a handheld device to stream the video on like the Infant Optics, I’d have given a full 5 stars.Version: 3.9.22

Would recommend it!Great product….works well….does the job.. gives you all the info you need. My only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars was the amount of updates Nanit releases…. Every time there is an update on the App Store… the whole app stops working, till you update every device you have that’s that’s running it! Really inconvenient, if you keep having to update on average at least once every 10 days..Version: 3.8.12

Peace of mindLove this. Really easy set-up, we have the floor stand and you barely notice it in the room. Multiple user feature is great and really handy. The insights/sleep summary is something I thought I wouldn’t care for but it’s been really helpful to see when our baby has woken up and managed to settle themselves or not, so we can work on different sleep training. Also the white noise and night light are such a bonus to not having to buy those extra things for the nursery. Overall a great product with a ton of features. Would highly recommend. Also have the travel stand, which is really compact - perfect when you have a million other baby items to pack!.Version: 3.5.3

One of the best purchases we’ve madeNanit is, hands down, one of the best purchases we have made for our baby. We have the wall mount as well as the multi-stand. We’ve taken the multi-stand into different rooms and even with us during stays at hotels. The added bonuses that add value to this product are the milestone messages they send to your inbox to help with caring for your baby, the newly added nightlight feature that lets you do a sleep timer and has a dimming function, the sounds that also have a timer function, the customizable notifications for sound and movement, and the talk-back function. We absolutely love our Nanit and it’s honestly (and randomly) become our baby’s favorite thing to look at during bedtime (and mid-night wakings) that somehow help soothe her back to sleep. We used the breathing wear in her early months and that was super helpful too! As we got more seasoned in not worrying about her too much while sleeping, we stopped using it, but it still is something I recommend for first-time parents (better this than a wearable tracking sock- I’ll leave that product unnamed haha). Thank you Nanit for creating an amazing product..Version: 2.3.3

Amazing monitor and peace of mindThe Nanit has made putting my little one into his own cot the easiest thing. I have so much confidence knowing I can clearly see and hear him and the other functions this monitor has to offer is just fantastic. Yes it’s expensive comparing with other monitors, but 100% money well spent. We even purchased the breathing band and that helped me relax so much more at night. The quality overall is really amazing!.Version: 2.6.1

Great app for tech-savvy parents like us!We’ve had Nanit ever since our little boy T was born and we’ve really loved the app. Great view of the cot when he’s sleeping and we love all the analytics which help us better understand his sleeping patterns. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a baby monitor that you can use on your phone without needing an extra portable device..Version: 3.2.7

ExceptionalHaving used the owlet when my little girl was first born; I was looking for something that wasn’t constantly on her to monitor her breathing. Nanit is genius as it’s all connected to your phone with a fabric breathing band that goes over them! No wires or anything, the camera detects the shapes on the band and that’s how you know they are okay! I love this brand, app and camera. Wish I discovered it before the owlet ! Never any connection issues and notifications if baby moves or cries, a god send!.Version: 2.5.5

Relieves my anxietyWe’ve used Nanit since our little one was a few months old. We first used the owlet but then shifted to both, then just Nanit. At 18 months we’re still using Nanit and we LOVE it. I can sleep knowing my baby is monitored and when I wake up I glance at it to check she’s ok without having to fully wake up. We love the sound monitor, the breathing monitor and have had almost no false alerts (2 in a year and a half). I think Nanit is a must have!.Version: 3.9.10

Useful metricsVery useful bird’s eye view. Brilliant camera resolution. Some useful tips, do like it they are age appropriate. Overall very positive experience coming up to 1 year of use. Would like a few things added: Integration with iTunes to allow music playing; the 4 sounds are ok but not much of a choice. Integration with Siri and HomeKit, would love the option of viewing the camera via HomeKit and also control basic options via Siri. I feel the Nanit analysis is a bit hit and miss; few times the night summary is just wrong. The bed times doesn’t seem to work properly..Version: 2.6.4

I honestly could not live without it!We did a lot of research and decided to get a Nanit and frankly we are so pleased we did! Knowing when our son is asleep or awake, how well he slept but also having reassurance he is breathing is absolutely a essential (especially as we moved him to his own room at 3.5 months). I don’t think I would want or trust any other monitoring. Nanit is really a fantastic device/app. The app is easy to use and understand. The customer service is also very responsive if you have a question or issue. Bravo! Very happy..Version: 3.0.5

It’s the back up that counts……After looking for weeks at reviews with decided on the Nanit Pro. For the first few weeks, we found it to be absolutely amazing. However we had a major problem with disconnections in the night after contacting Customer Services several times and getting comprehensive responses, we still couldn’t get it to connect. This was causing distress at night. After several weeks of backwards and forwards with the custom services, finally they upgraded the server and this seem to fix everything and they were very helpful with ensuring we were happy customers. so I would be happy to recommend This company, even though we had a few issues due to the fact that when your breaking, there’s always going to be setbacks and we have to be happy that company is like this or pushing the boundaries of siblings surveillance..Version: 3.11.20

The peace of mind is worth every penny. We were really hesitant about purchasing this but ultimately decided to give it a shot. This is so above and beyond our old camera that sometimes I really wonder how we survived without it. The camera and sound quality is amazing, the motion and sound detections are customizable, the sleep insights are SO helpful, and I cannot stress enough how much I love that I can just move the camera from the wall mount to the regular stand as needed and see the baby wherever I need to. Recently our baby had his first real illness and I was nervous about leaving him alone in the crib, but also didn’t want to ruin sleep training progress. So we busted out the sleep band/pajamas since we hadn’t used them yet. It was such a nice added piece of mind to know that his breathing was being monitored and we would be alerted if anything happened. And it was no inconvenience to him wearing it either, it was just like any other pair of pajamas. 110% recommend to any parent. Whether it’s your first, second, third, or even 10th child. It’s so helpful..Version: 3.8.8

Needs AppleTV versionLove the camera, the app and all the insights you get from the usage of this product over time. Only comment I would make is that this product would massively benefit from having an AppleTV version. When working in the lounge, would be far nicer to have the TV on and be able to glance at the TV every so often, that the tiny little screen of a phone..Version: 3.6

Don’t hesitate, do it! Best decision ever!We had the old school baby monitor, no video, with our first child. They are 5 years apart and when we found out we were expecting our surprise baby, we decided for peace of mind, we would invest in the Nanit. There are so many other options out there that are good, but Nanit was by far the best. I travel a lot for work and being able to check on my baby from literally ANYWHERE in the world is pretty incredible. I also love the breathing wear options they have to give you that piece of mind while you are sleeping. If their breathing is off or they stop breathing altogether, you will get an alert on your phone that you cannot sleep through. It sounds like a weather alert or an amber alert and just sounds off until you turn it off. I also love how they keep up with milestones and they provide tips based off baby’s age. I tell all my friends and family who are expecting. Peace of mind, doesn’t come with a cost. It’s an investment for peace filled sleep and lots of precious memories you will capture with it. Do not hesitate any longer. Do it. Buy it. Buy the whole bundle. It’s worth EVERY PENNY!.Version: 3.9.19

Reliable productSet up very easy to do if you know how to drill 3 holes into your wall and do simple subtractions. Camera Setup was easy, and straight forward. Wifi setup zero problems. My internet is 1Gb fibre and wifi modem is on the same floor as the nursery. Zero lag and picture perfect image. The options available with this app are incredible with the Picture in Picture ( u can browse internet / multi task and still have a view of the monitoring area) As well as the background audio where you can exit the nanit app and still hear the audio coming from the nursery from your mobile device. Have not tried the paid services yet but am curious to test out the breathing band feature. Overall great app, with its friendly userface..Version: 3.11.20

Good appWorks well.Version: 2.2.4

Best baby monitor everThe Nanit is such a good baby monitor. I travel for work quite a bit and being able to remotely check in on my son is amazing. You can play music, white noise, talk to him, control the night light and see what temperature the room is. Such a good bit of technology. Also the app gives loads of helpful tips and records key milestones which is a good feature..Version: 3.5.3

Love and well worth the moneyWe have one for our daughter who is currently one and I have purchased a second for our new baby. I’m so so glad we purchased this and think it’s worth the money spent. I haven’t used the breathing wear yet but will try it with the new baby. We brought the stand when we had a next to me crib and that worked great. When baby started to move more we switched to the small stand which works fine. You get less analytics but as baby is older we don’t need that so much now. White noise is useful although I use another machine. We’ve used the microphone a few times but mostly joking with each other. I take screen shots and love the videos. It helped immensely with sleep training and meant I could stop tracking sleep in another app because the Nanit app did it for me. I haven’t upgraded to the more expensive insights and the only thing I miss is adding a grandparent to the app when they babysit. We end up using alternative travel system which is no where near as good. Fantastic though!.Version: 3.11.15

Best purchase everAs a first time mom, getting this monitor has been my best purchase so far. The quality of video is so great and the breathing band feature eases my anxiety. I love that i can see her from anywhere!.Version: 3.11.8

A Must HaveThe undisputed #1 must have baby monitor. It’s expensive, but worth every penny and more..Version: 3.11.13

IPad app BROKENWe bought this with the intention of using our iPad as a monitor. If you are planning on doing this I would advise you DO NOT. The sound is completely broken , when it is turned on all you hear is a buzzing sound and what’s worse is when the sound is on for whatever reason the video feed starts moving in slow motion , effectively making this entire setup useless. When you turn the sound off the video then speeds back up until it “catches up” with real time at which point the video feed is then reliable. I guess as long as you keep the app muted you can use the app for video only but that is not entirely useful in my opinion. We have contacted support about this and they tried blaming our internet (not remotely our internets fault as the app works fine on our phones), updating our iPad , updating Nanit app , reinstalling Nanit app, etc. We have tried it all and it continues to not function. FIX YOUR IPAD APP!!! This is a gigantic issue and makes the app and product not useable , I cannot believe this has gone unfixed!!.Version: 3.11.9

We love it!We love our nanit so much we bought a second one for our newborn and even upgraded to the wall mount version. The new split screen option is a game changer. Highly recommend :).Version: 3.11.11

Happy customerNanit had really been amazing for us as first time parents. We originally brought a different ‘top brand’ monitor but we’re left disappointed. The nanit is actually enjoyable to use. I love waking up and looking into how well my son slept. Watching clippings of while we were asleep is also helpful. It’s been so much easier starting a routine with nanit. Learning his sleep patterns etc. The only thing I wish it did have was more sounds. Maybe a lullaby would be nice. The night light is a god send to. If your debating getting it - just do it! You won’t regret it..Version: 3.8.2

Very goodGood camera!.Version: 3.11.20

Best nanny camHad the owlet prior to buying the nanit and the quality of the nanit has surpassed our expectations. We have already bought a second one with baby number 2 on the way..Version: 3.11.8

Best thing ever.I have 4 kids. My kids have all co slept with me except for my 4th. I was ready to have my bed back and my sleep back. I never put the other 3 in their own room due to fear. With this monitor my daughter has been sleeping in her own room since she turned 3 months. She has slept so amazing and the advice I have gotten from the app made the transition that much smoother. I will sit in my room with my husband watching our show while I watch her sleep. I love watching her put herself to sleep. I have been able to put her back to sleep by shhhhshing her from the intercom. I have captured moments between her and her father and her brothers that I saw when they thought I wasn’t watching. I am going to be purchasing the breathing band and the sleep sack as I think having that additional peace of mind knowing her breathing will take this to the next level for me. My sisters in different states can watch her sleep. My mom can watch her. My husband can talk to her when he’s at work through the intercom if she wakes up while I shower. I absolutely love this monitor. 10/10 recommend. My only suggestion would be to be able add in when they fall asleep and for how long for better sleep Analysis. She doesn’t always sleep in her crib and if I don’t have her in her crib it will say that I put her to sleep late when she infect is just asleep in her crib in my room. But still the best thing ever!.Version: 3.0.4

Pretty great, but connectivity can be frustratingMy wife and I love the Nanit. The breathing feature is what sold us on it and gives us great peace of mind. The night vision is good, but can be a little blurry if mount the camera too high, but honestly it’s the only way you use the camera in large part so I wish it was as sharp as cheaper cameras that are not baby monitor specific like Wyze or eufy. My biggest gripe is connectivity when traveling. Even if I’ve connected to the WiFi someplace like my in-laws before it won’t connect automatically and can sometimes take a few attempts to get connected. Besides that we LOVE the features like memories/moments where it tracks milestones and other events like morning wake ups and compiles them in to a little slide show with music. Some of them make my wife cry like when it compiles all the new born scrunches our baby did in his first 3 months. It also helps track how your baby was put to bed and will remind you or congratulate you on having your baby out themselves to sleep..Version: 3.11.27

Probably the best baby purchase we’ve madeThis has been invaluable for us. Definitely at the more expensive end of baby monitors but worth every penny. The new born breathing band is award winning and rightly so, the ability to monitor and track insights is amazing, the tips and guidance and the ease of use are all on point. Recommend this to everyone who asks and would buy it again 100 times over..Version: 3.0.3

Nanit Cameras: A Game-Changer for Monitoring Babies"I am delighted with our Nanit cameras for our twin babies. We set up the Nanit in the nursery to monitor our little ones while they nap, and so far, it has exceeded our expectations. One of the standout features of the Nanit is the ability to access both live and historical camera videos. This feature allows us to check in on our babies in real-time and also review past footage, giving us peace of mind knowing that we can always keep an eye on them. Another crucial feature for us is the ability to monitor the temperature in the nursery. The Nanit provides accurate temperature readings, ensuring that our babies are in a comfortable and safe environment. This feature has been particularly helpful, especially during those hot summer nights and more recently in the cold weather. Lastly, the regular activity reports and milestones provided by the Nanit have been invaluable in tracking our babies' growth and development. It's fascinating to see their progress and milestones documented in an easy-to-understand format. Overall, we highly recommend the Nanit cameras for anyone with infants and even elderly care. The ease of use, along with the essential features such as live and historical camera videos, temperature monitoring, and activity reports, make it an excellent investment for any parent or caretaker. We are exceptionally pleased with our Nanit and the peace of mind it brings us..Version: 3.11.22

A great deviceSo it’s obviously not cheap, but you definitely get your money’s worth. The camera is excellent, and the technology that can determine when your baby is awake or is being lifted out of bed asleep etc is very impressive. The breathing band is also excellent for peace of mind and we appreciated that it didn’t involve any electronics being attached to the baby’s body. The only thing I didn’t really appreciate were some of the tips. For example, we repeatedly received a tip advising that we didn’t need to be night feeding any more, which I found annoying as we were following a separate plan for his feeds and we knew what we were doing and didn’t need Nanit’s advice. It took me a minute to realise you could turn these sorts of tips off, so it’s good if people know that up front. But honestly other than that it’s been a brilliant investment.Version: 3.1.5

Performance ReviewNanit has provided my wife and I assurance during the first six months since our son was born. I think I would have kept checking our baby constantly during the nights if we didn’t have Nanit over watching our son. Knowing if our son had stopped breathing, Nanit will alarm really helps mentally. Other functions such as background noise and white noise are great additions..Version: 3.11.15

Lottie-lou022Great product and app. Given me so much more confidence that my son is ok in his room. Also great playbacks abs activity recording of your night so you know wake up times - at 9 months night wake ups tend to blur into your week so this has a nice record. Camera quality and sound quality is great! App so far no problems. No false alarms with breathing monitor but then we did only get this camera when my baby was 6months so bigger than some to start with.Version: 3.5

Best thing we’ve bought for the baby!We love the Nanit monitor. The view you get on the camera is brill and covers all bases. The app is great showing when baby woke during the night and it also gives tips on what the parent can do to help the baby sleep better too. Love the little memory videos it creates for parents. You can look back at babies sleep patterns and replay footage. Only down side is sometimes the play back footage of them moving/sounds detected during the night, don’t work when trying to watch them. 100% worth the money, you won’t regret this purchase!.Version: 3.2.1

Great cameraI’ve had the Nanit coming up to a year now and it’s been the best thing we’ve bought! The cameras great, hardly ever loses network, a pretty good picture and great in app features. The only thing that I don’t like is now we’ve got to start paying for features that we’ve been enjoying, which when we bought the Nanit (and there not cheap) we didn’t expect to have to pay for or realised we would. It’s a shame as this is the only thing that lets it down..Version: 3.8.2

Great productPeace of mind for anxious mothers.Version: 3.5.3

ExcellentLove this product and the company. We have used the Hatch in my children's rooms for years and recently had an issue with one (it was 4 years old). Their customer service was polite, quick to answer, understanding, and thorough. They provided multiple troubleshooting options and even followed up a week after one email when I hadn't responded. Ultimately the hatch was unable to be fixed but they graciously sent me a new product. We have recommended the hatch to so many people - especially young moms who need just a bit of light for those MOTN feeds and diaper changes, but also for toddlers who need the wake to rise function. So now in addition to loving the actual products, we can certainly add our appreciation of the company and their customer service to that list. If you need a white noise machine (with other sound options too), nightlight, wake to rise light, or audio monitor, we cannot recommend the Hatch enough!.Version: 3.11.1

Awesome product! My wife and I love this product. It’s so user friendly great quality camera. The only issue is that the sensor is very very sensitive so you get lots of notifications. It will sometimes pick up movement of shadows moving from trees outside. Otherwise fantastic product.Version: 3.11.17

Love itAbsolutely as advertised, love everything about it :).Version: 3.8.12

I never leave reviews I’m stubborn however..Amazing app, device and customer service.. I had a problem where I started my subscription early before my baby was born. And customer services extended my membership for a year for free. The new Picture in Picture is a feature that has been added for free and works so well with iPhone and iPad. So you can always keep an eye on the little ones. 10/10.Version: 3.8.13

Nanit helps us all get sleep! As a new mom with postpartum anxiety, I found myself checking on my baby constantly to see if she was breathing. It was making it so that I would start to fall asleep but startle awake being scared she wouldn’t breathe if I wasn’t watching her. After she was three weeks old, the sleep deprivation started kicking in, and my anxiety was getting worse so we bought the nanit to try to help relieve some of my symptoms. The first night with the nanit was my first night being able to sleep! It was nice being able to have the app open on my phone so that I could just open my phone to see if she was breathing instead of having to get out of bed to go put my hand on her. She’s now 3.5 months old and we’ve never had a false alarm, and have always had accurate reports from the nanit. Also, it tells us when she’s moving or if she’s making noise so if we are in another room and she’s napping in her crib, we can go get her! The only thing I’d improve is being able to have a monitor for the nanit so that I don’t have to keep the app open on my phone. Sometimes when she’s sleeping, I want to use my phone while still having it open on a baby monitor. Best purchase we’ve made though!.Version: 3.11.8

My peace of mindNanit has been the most useful baby item imaginable. Our son has been sleeping in his crib since he was 3 days old. The breathing wear puts my mind at ease, I can roll over in the middle of the night and see that he’s ok. We experienced one red alert, maybe when he was a month or two old, and luckily he was perfectly fine, but we still are fans of how the alert went off and really got us moving. I absolutely love the tips that pop us in our messages with recommendations on what to try and do according to his age, it’s very helpful & gives me the reassurance that I’m doing the right thing. We like how Nanit keeps track of how our son slept, it’s helpful to know how much sleep he’s getting & by looking at a weekly glance we can understand him better. My husband loves the portable stand, he uses it when our son falls asleep during the day instead of moving him. Absolutely love our Nanit, wouldn’t change a thing. And I recently got the sleep sacks! I was very excited when those came out..Version: 3.3.3

Expensive but worth itGotta say it isn’t the cheapest out there but it is totally worth it!.Version: 3.8.2

Peace of mindThe nanit monitoring allows me peace of mind at night knowing my child’s breathing and safety during sleep are being monitored. I like the accessibility on my phone as well to check on my child. The breathing wear swaddle needs improvement as it was not comfortable for my son in his early months which was a challenge. They breathing band worked for monitoring but we could not swaddle our child to use this feature. I used a snuggle me pillow in the bassinet with the breathing band around my son so he could be monitored. As my child grew the breathing wear sleep sacks have been perfect to keep my son comfortable and safely monitored. He is already growing out of the 12-24 month size at 17 months and he’s not a large child so I wish they would make larger sleep sacks so we can keep using the breathing monitor feature. The nanit sleep insights have been very helpful to guide and assist sleep improvements as my child grows. The nanit sleep schedule for each month is also very helpful for guidance on naps and nighttime sleep. Overall the Nanit has provided me with peace of mind, rest, security, and guidance..Version: 3.6

Nanit is just amazingIt has transformed me from a panicky parent (that I know wouldn’t have been able to relax) into a chilled parent. Just knowing that Nanit is watching and monitoring our precious baby while she sleeps really helps me have some down time. The light and the sounds you can have on it just makes our bedtime experience all the better as well! Well well well worth the money!.Version: 3.5

Not just a monitor / A sleep training tool! When I was pregnant I thought I might not need a monitor since we have a very small house where we can hear easily throughout. I bought a Nanit while it was on sale just in case. Of course I discovered it is nice to have one when you want to step outside for a minute or see (not just hear) what’s going on. However I had no idea what a tool Nanit would be to our sleep journey! With the new update, Nanit has several features like showing you a count of how long baby has been laid down for or how long he’s been asleep on the main screen. It also captures videos of each event like: baby being laid down to bed, taken out, records entire naps and nights and allows you to view them for 48 hours with an option to save if you want. It gives you analytics of your child’s sleep (time in bed and time asleep separated for night and day) and celebrates the sleep milestones they reach. It has been wildly helpful in sleep training and just plain parenting. Once set up, you can check in on your baby in the nursery from anywhere - say you’re at work and baby is with a nanny. I have no problems with wireless connection and would recommend it to anyone..Version: 3.4.1

Essential app and deviceLoving our Nanit - has been crucial for monitoring both our kids. Watch outs: - Make sure you have a GOOD and strong wifi signal for the cameras, or you can expect choppy and inconsistent performance - mount it on the wall for best performance and to take advantage of all its features - 1 star because the yearly subscription is a bit pricey, and one truly annoying thing is that the app keeps pushing notifications to me EVEN when I have the app open. Nanit, are you guys getting complaints about this? Can you fix it?.Version: 3.11.20

Definitely worth the experience price tagThere are products you buy for your baby and later regret it. We’ve been using Nanit for 3 months now and although it is expensive, it is definitely worth it. They recently added picture-in-picture support which I had hoped they would add. Loving it :) The only minor negative point I’ll make is that the breathing wear swaddle needs improvement I think. Our baby didn’t like it..Version: 3.8.11

Worth itI really love the nanit app! To monitor baby from anywhere, it tracks when she wakes and sleeps, plus, the tricks and tips are all great features. Would highly recommend..Version: 3.11.13

Great baby monitor! No more having to worry about the batteries getting low or fuzzy images. We are all pretty good at keeping our phones charged and the image is very clear even in the pitch black. I really like that you can have multiple people signed in to the account on all of our smart phones, this way, mom, dad, the nanny, whoever is home, they always has instant access on their personal device. I also like that it keeps track of when baby is put in the bed and taken out. It also gives you advice on how to be consistent with the sleep schedule, and so many other helpful tips. It is so much more than just a baby monitor. I used this monitor for many years at somebody else’s house when I worked as a nanny. When I got my own and had some connectivity issues, their customer service was a breeze to work with. They sent me a new camera right away and were very friendly and helpful. Never going back to any other old school monitors..Version: 3.9.13

Good concept, needs some improvementsCamera and software work wonders, but with some pain points : Major pain point is when turning off breathing motion. There's a loud sound notification coming from all devices (we have a few tablets and cellphones all going berserk) and the worst is the same sound notification coming from the camera itself. This should be configurable!!! As you can imagine, this notification is infuriating: most of the time it goes off because baby is taken out of crib for too long in the middle of the night. Sometimes he might have just repositioned himself and the camera stops detecting the sleep ware. When this happens, there's a huge pop up covering the entire screen leaving you two options: "report false", or "stop breathing motion". In both cases, you can't see if your kid is still sleeping or not, and in both cases the damn notification goes up and wakes up the kid and the rest of the household, in the middle of the night!!!! Smaller pain point: when the music is on and you turn of the camera, I also expect the music to stop : it never does! I have to turn the camera back on, shut the music down manually and turn the camera back off!! And lastly : I can't connect to the camera when not at home. I bought nanit specifically for this reason. The only way to connect is if I'm on the same network, therefore have to result using my home's vpn. If there's some port forwarding that we should be doing for this to work without vpn or firewall setup, it would be nice to know! And please don't blame my wifi (or my gigabit fibre internet), I have 6 UniFi access points in my house (all wired to the same UniFi pro switch) One of the access points is in the same room as the nanit! I can inspect my network and see nanit camera has 98% signal quality..Version: 3.11.16

Very good baby cameraThe camera not only give us as parents peace of mind without entering the room to disturb the baby, but also let the grandparents in another country to see him growing, which is so precious in the isolation of Covid time. I would like to see improvements on adding options to share videos in clips; as well as making it possible to fast forwarding the history video. In all we consider it a very good baby-related purchase..Version: 3.6.2

Fantastic for smart homesWe love the Nanit! Such a peace of mind too. Our LO went to the crib at 12 weeks and the Nanit helped my mama brain relax so much. I didn’t use the breathing features the first 12 weeks because I was so worried about false alarms waking us all up and he was a pretty good sleeper. We’ve never had a false alarm since then (7.5 months now). The only set back is, he now sleeps with a lovey and if it lays on his stomach and blocks the breathing wear only a small text like ding lets me know (I sleep through it). This has only happened twice though. No way around it, except that I do wish the period to wait for the Breathing wear was longer. For example, during teething we sometimes have to walk around for an hour and I have to remember to restart the breathing wear before I zombie back to bed. Again, overall love it and I recommend to all my friends! The sleep sacks are probably my favorite accessory! It’s great for the grandparents’ houses. The only time it didn’t work was when we stayed at a bed and breakfast 2 room suite and their internet didn’t have a password..Version: 2.5.3

Best choice we madeWe were told to put this on our registry because it was the bee’s knees and it absolutely is. I love how the first year it gives you insights and memories and stuff you would never be able to have with another camera. The picture is very clear and I’m absolutely thankful for the recommendation I got early in the game. This camera has been so useful. It even has alerts for when it gets too cold or hot or the humidity is out of range for an infant (which could lead to sids). It also records how much they slept each night so you can understand how their naps should be during the day. There is also a nap calculator that you can revisit each month to make sure you can adapt your schedule. I honestly really love it. The only flaw I can point out is my camera gets stuck on night mode often. I really don’t mind because I only really need it for the night. All in all I love this camera, it’s made the journey with my first child much easier..Version: 3.1.4

Nanit Camera and Breathing WearThis product has and is a must have for us. Can’t recommend enough!.Version: 3.9.29

Super useful but wish the video data was freeWe love nanit. We’ve been using nanit full time since our daughter was roughly 4 months old. The features and technology were unmatched compared to other baby monitors we researched. We really enjoy the features the app offers in terms of consistency in bedtime and videos of monthly pick ups it makes. The app connects easily to phones, tablets, and Alexa so we can check on my daughter any time day or night. We also love how sensitive the monitoring is in terms of sound and motion so we know every time she is awake so we can determine if one of us should check on her. It comes with a super cool band that wraps around smaller babies that monitors breathing and is very effective, also comes with a shorter travel stand making it super portable and easy to set up on the go. My only annoyance is if you want to keep your videos and (I guess your paying for data storage) rewatch them later or see how your baby is grown you’ve gotta pay for the features. It’s worth it to have videos of her but obviously isn’t necessary. Despite the added cost we would purchase this again and have convinced two friends recently to purchase nanit for their newborns and they love it as much as we do. Worth the investment and will definitely last for multiple kiddos and well into toddlerhood and beyond..Version: 3.8.5

The BEST baby monitor!4 years later and we still love our Nanit Monitor!.Version: 3.11.22

Great piece of equipment!I am using the Nanit Pro. The stand is very sturdy and camera sits on top of it. I am no longer using the heart monitoring as my son is older now but was good to see when he was new. It has a good set up, it’s comes with lots of accessories but at a cost. The noise functions are great, we use the white noise every night and the volume can be altered based on how much background noise you want to blank out. The picture quality is good. You can see everything clearly. Motion and noise is detected and it sends notifications to alert you. However after a year my device has stopped letting me see back his movements in the which is disappointing. But if I had to rate. 5 stars!.Version: 3.11.8

Great historyVery easy to review history, set up other cameras.Version: 3.11.7

Couldn’t imagine life without Nanit! We bought the Nanit when our baby was 4 months old and I can’t believe we lived without it for the first 4 months - it’s been a total game changer! I love that both my husband and I can access the feed directly from our phones and we can add a babysitter or grandparent when needed. I love that it tracks sleep and it has been so helpful with sleep training our little one. It’s expensive but worth every penny!.Version: 3.11.22

Love it but one suggestionLove the nanit !! Super easy to install and use and love that the camera floats directly above the baby versus from a certain angle. My only suggestion is regarding the new feature recently added called “night mode” which dims the app so that you can leave the app open at night without having the app shining brightly while you sleep. I do love the feature ! BUT I would recommend that they modify it a bit to allow you to set a time frame for the night mode to automatically turn on and off by itself. Right now i have to turn it on (getting ready for bed) and off (in the morning for the rest of the day) which kinda defeats the purpose of the feature. It should just do this automatically. If I have to manually turn it off and on every night/day then I’m wasting the same amount of time I was wasting before where I was dimming and brightening the light on my screen, before the night mode feature was created. Hope this makes sense! Seems like an easy fix!.Version: 2.0.3

Love it!!This app has been been amazing we love the camera. Highly recommend!.Version: 3.0

Effective monitorI really enjoy our Nanit monitor. It’s fairly accurate in determining and calculating when my baby falls asleep, is awake, or visited throughout the night. I appreciate that it comes with 1 year of basic insights. However, I think for the price, it should come with one year free of full insights. I think I would find more value in the insights and be more willing to pay for the subscription once the free trial ends. As it stands now, I probably won’t buy a years worth when this is up because I feel I really can’t determine if the insights are worth the cost (I think it’s $250/yr for full insights). Overall, the camera quality is good, the app is good (some glitches sometimes), and it’s worth buying the accessories. One of my favorite features is the ability to take it off the wall and travel with it. Other wall mounted baby cameras don’t do that. I do wish the insights worked when it’s not wall mounted. Again, would make it worth buying the insights if it did. I’d give the camera and app a solid 4 stars..Version: 3.4.5

AmazingFantastic product.Version: 2.5.8

Peace of mind and security wrapped up into 1 cameraBaby cameras are wild in cost and abilities - it was really daunting to decide which camera to go with - I picked Nanit because of the phone interface, night vision, and breathing feature. Since having a nanit camera, I have recommended one for all new parents. I love every feature - I can check on my baby from anywhere when they are in the crib. Traveling anywhere with the camera is a huge peace of mind. I can set up babysitting friends and family with the camera. I love the quality of the image and the breath feature is honestly the most treasured feature - postpartum, I could sleep without fearing about SIDS. I had a second child and purchased another camera. There’s a split screen feature that is amazing- I can see and hear my kids at the same time, or if one is napping, just use their monitor - no need to have both on. I don’t know about having 3+ cameras - however, I’m sure Nanit could share those details. I do, however, adore the cameras and the technology - this was the right purchase for me..Version: 3.9.5

Many excellent features; only a few bugsProbably the best baby item we purchased. Love being able to check the monitor from anywhere via WiFi or cell service. Zooming in & taking pics is also great. When baby was smaller, the “breathing wear” function put our minds at ease. Also really nice to have the temperature and humidity always being measured. Lastly, it’s convenient to have the monitor on our phones, rather than having to use a separate device. Nice to have options to mute sound, hear it only when looking at the screen, or hear it even with screen turned off. We have had some glitches when Nanit has pushed out a new software update, and when our camera went on the fritz after nearly a year of working well, we had to jump through some customer service hoops to get a replacement. That said, all reps were smart & friendly and we did get a replacement eventually. Tip: contact customer service via phone rather than email; it was much faster in our experience..Version: 2.4.3

Best baby camWay better than Miku.Version: 3.11.20

Worth it3 months into it and loving it so far..Version: 3.2.1

Love our NanitsAbsolutely love this baby monitor. Only 2 small things I would change. Wish you could turn sounds (white noise) off without having to go on full screen- and also a 12 hour sound option would be really great! And also would like to be able to edit my name. When it says hi “mom” I’d prefer to be “mum/mummy” Happy with everything else though! This is actually our second monitor for our 3rd child. They are amazing Does annoy me now expensive the add ons are like the premium insights, on a already pricey monitor..Version: 3.9.2

Made Transitioning to Crib EasierMade transitioning to her crib happen much sooner and safer. She was sleeping in her own crib by 3 months because this allowed us to keep and eye and ear out for her all night. Being able to talk through it great. The night light is useful because it doesn’t shine down onto your baby it gently aims up. You can control the volume/intensity of the sounds/light. The only weird thing is that the sound labeled “Wind” sounds exactly like waves gently lapping (it is her favorite), and the one called “Waves” sounds more like water splash and slopping then it does actual waves like the “Wind” setting. The only criticism I have is that the alarm for the breathing monitor, (which is a great feature, the alarm lets you know if they haven’t breathed in a whole 30 seconds), the default setting for the alarm has it go off and your phone AND from the camera itself. So a loud alarm blaring right above them. Their is a toggle for turning off it using the camera too but it is greyed out and unchangeable..Version: 3.11.27

FabulousTruly a life changing product. I have recommended Nanit to everyone and gifted this monitor to several people..Version: 3.11.16

Overall happy, minor improvements could be madeWe are enjoying using the Nanit for our baby. Overall we have very few complaints. If we had to make changes, we would probably make the power cord longer (we live in an older house and outlets are far and few in between and having a good wall to support the camera + an outlet close by proved to be difficult.) The camera back is a bit short so it doesn’t get to be directly over our baby. It still tracks her sleep patterns and everything we NEED but it is off in terms of her placement in bed/movement/etc. The music, while great, is super loud on your phone when you’ve got the night mode turned on. Even if you have it quieter in the nursery (almost so quiet you can’t hear it) it’s extremely loud on your phone and that’s a bit obnoxious. We don’t use that feature because of it. The nightlight is pretty useless too. Maybe better when she’s a bit older and we aren’t using a night light to see during night feeds and avoiding turning on her nursery light, but currently it’s not at all bright enough..Version: 3.0

Best baby monitor around by far!Everything about Nanit is next level up. From the camera and video and sound quality to the regular updates and tips One suggestion to improve would be the ability to use on non secured networks - ie hotels that dont use a wifi password. It is a little frustrating to buy the travel stand only to find out we couldnt use it on a hotel wifi network!.Version: 3.11.20

Best thing we bought for our BabyThe quality is superb and the peace of mind it gives me is amazing. So many features and I can see & hear - even speak to our baby - whenever I want to. It updates me to all his needs & I feel v secure with it on. Easy to use on the go too - portable head & stand v handy. So many fad, dud purchases around a baby, this is NOT one of them. Their bed sheets are incredible quality & beautiful design too..Version: 3.9.11

BEST INVENTION EVERBest monitor around. Honestly so amazed at how good it is. The breathing monitoring system is absolutely fantastic really keeps my mind at ease, the alarm that sounds if baby isn’t breathing is scarily fantastic (we tested just to see). The dashboard with the breakdown of how baby has slept is perfect, showing onset, sleep efficiency and so much more. Honestly the BEST thing we have purchased. Wish we had had this in the UK when our toddler was born! The cost is a little high if I’m honest and is a bit off putting if you haven’t done any research into your baby monitors but it is hands down worth every penny! The sleepwear again is a little expensive but you need the sleepwear otherwise it’s just an expensive monitor and you don’t get the benefits. We actually had a part missing from the box when we purchased the Nanit and my husband emailed them, within days we had the replacement part sent to us with absolutely no issues. They were great! So all in all a little pricey BUT the best purchase you could make... especially for those extra nervous parents :) Great job Nanit!.Version: 2.3.3

It’s given us peace of mind!We started using Nanit over the summer when we welcomed our little babe. As first time parents we had major anxiety putting her in her room for naps and gradually for night time sleep - but being able to have the Nanit app on Night Mode right on my nightstand all night and checking up on her whenever I want without bothering her has been a heaven sent! Also, there are helpful tips that the app sends you based on your baby’s sleep patterns and encouraging chats you can enter to see what other parents are struggling with or what has helped them! The only slightly annoying thing is that occasionally the system gets confused and it alerts us of the wrong thing - for example: we get alerts that “someone is attending to the baby” when she’s only just moving in her crib, or will miss that we went in to check on her or help her go back down and say that she has been sleeping for longer than she actually has. Small detail but figured I’d mention. That didn’t start until 6 months into using it. Other than that, we are so happy to have bought the Nanit! The breathing band is truly everything and we use it for all naps and each night. Overall, we highly recommend!.Version: 3.4.6

Best baby monitor hands down!I love the Nanit! It’s the best baby monitor product on the market by a mile!.Version: 3.7.4

Couldn’t Live Without it!!!Honestly one of the best purchases. My son is 9 months and this has been such an excellent tool since birth. So much more than just a camera; the stats and data collection aspect helps you plan your day and track sleep and awake windows. Helpful tips and notifications help you learn and understand your baby’s sleep patterns. This along with Alison Scott-Wright book, The Sensational Baby Sleep Plan has really helped me form a great sleeping routine with my son..Version: 3.5.3

Needs a disconnection alarm!Yay they finally added a split screen!!! -changing my review- I love this monitor but there’s some things that needs to be added. When I loose connection for any time over 5 min it should 100% have an alarm that you have to actually turn off saying that’s it’s disconnected. There’s nothing worse then waking up in the middle of the night to check the monitor only to find it’s disconnected and the notification from 2 hours ago saying to relaunch it. When I am asleep I do not a hear a little tiny ding, there needs to be an alarm that goes off so I know to fix it. I don’t need to contact for connection issues, I need an alarm to tell me if It has become disconnected so I can reconnect it. (I had pretty spotty WiFi through ATT and was loosing connection all through the night and it wasn’t picking back up, obviously ATT’s fault not Nanit bc I now have charter and don’t have this issue. But that doesn’t change my point that there SHOULD be an alarm alerting you to reconnect when it doesn’t do it on its own).Version: 3.7.5

Perfect CameraLove this camera! Also love that we can travel with it as well. Love the sounds and night light feature..Version: 3.11.20

Great monitorHowever I find the insights have become less and less accurate lately. Thinks bub is in bed when she’s not etc....Version: 3.0.5

Great picture quality & featuresWe were deciding between the Nanit & Owlet before our baby was born, but decided on the Nanit due to the picture quality & additional features. The Nanit is fantastic, the camera works really well despite our low levels of WiFi & the inbuilt white noise that you can remotely turn up and down has allowed us to work on self-settling with our baby from another room. I would throughly recommend to anyone that is looking for a video monitor. We did purchase the breathing bands, but never used them as babies are swaddled when they come home & sleep for the first few weeks, which didn’t allow us to use these. We didn’t know this at the time of purchase. I would recommend holding fire on the breathing wear unless you know that your baby will definitely be using them..Version: 3.5.5

Worth the priceI was worried when I first starting looking for baby cameras, there are so many options out there. Then a friend told me about Nanit. I instantly looked it up and was sticker shocked but I kept reading. Knowing that it would measure my babies breaths and alert me if she ever stopped was pretty amazing. But there are other products out there that can do it too. So why Nanit? I honestly liked the “monitoring device.” Instead of something that went around the foot it was a sleep sack. Something I was going to need anyways. They were very function and I didn’t need to put anything extra on my baby. I have also enjoyed the memories it captures and the data. I know how long she sleeps, when she wakes up, and how long she stays awake. My baby got sick with RSV and after being sent home from the ER the first time I was told to come back if her breaths per minute dropped below a certain number and knowing that I could rest easy knowing that my Nanit would monitor that for me..Version: 3.9.17

The bestI can’t tell you how much our lives changed once we started using this device. It gives us complete peace of mind, and I love all of the tracking features. Even without upgrading we love the way you can check for movement in the history..Version: 3.11.21

Great all rounderNot only a great monitor with clear picture (day and night), it also provides background noises (tonight is fireworks night!) and also provides good comfort with the breathing band for those first time parents (at least) like us). Would recommend to anyone (although I have seen there is a camera that monitors breathing without any breathing band requirements..Version: 3.8.12
