Amazing AppAs a therapist I’m always looking for apps on mental health that have benefits. This app is amazing. I was trying it out to see if I would recommend it and found MY thoughts were starting to change. I find myself more positive and less likely to engage in ocd type behaviors. Didn’t workI don’t have OCD but I thought this app would make me more productive. After spending less than 5 minutes on it, I realized that this app hadn’t changed my mindset at all. Mostly great!I definitely find this app helpful and will continue to use it. It has helped me learn to tolerate, sort, and categorize my thoughts so that I can better assess if they’re worth focusing on or if I can just let them go. I do wish there was a way to skip modules if I don’t find them relevant to me; often I’m asked if a module is relevant at the beginning of the module, and if I say no, I still have to complete the module to move forward. I also wish I could practice the waves breathing exercise more often, but I don’t see a way to do that unless it shows up in my module for the day..Version: 2.57

App is easy to implement into daily routineI enjoy using this app and it has helped me navigate my obsessive thoughts and direct my negative thinking into a positive direction instead of staying stuck in repetitive and hurtful thought processes throughout most of my days. For a long time I thought it was normal to think that way and that I was protecting myself. Not true. Buggy Yet Very UsefulThis app has helped me with my OCD, and it started me on the road to cognitive behavioral therapy which is basically what this app does. The only thing I’d improve on is the bugs. The streaks don’t seem to matter, there are typos, and the app can crash sometimes. The affirmations and practices are super useful and they’ve helped me out, though!.Version: 2.3.0

Good but buggyI find this app useful, and I really like the toolbox to refer back to… however, mine was deleted yesterday evening; all the statements saved from the previous module completed now gone. I wonder if this is due to the update to improve the toolbox? Regardless, I’m disappointed I no longer have those saved statements to refer to, I hope it can be reverted as I’d like to continue doing modules and building a toolbox to use when I am struggling..Version: 2.55

Absolutely incredible and helpfulThis is the first time I’m leaving a review for an app because it’s been the only time I felt it’s necessary - because this app is a life changer. The simple daily exercises are so effective in planting seeds of positivity into one’s mind that it lingers on throughout the day. I’m working on a few different things through the app and can see a massive difference in my thinking already. It definitely goes hand in hand with getting professional help (which is obviously the first step) but this app will help reaffirm your thought patterns and the impact it has on your behaviour. HelpfulSo far I really like this app. I’m not sure what it does long term because I am locked at level 15. I wish I had known it was a paid app with only 15 levels free. It’s difficult to say if it is helpful in the long term because 15 levels is not that far. It has been helpful but I’m not sure if it does much beyond the daily sayings or if the “therapy” gets more involved. It seems expensive to pay for after a short free trial without knowing if there are more advanced lessons that can really help. Really GreatThis app has helped me reduce my fear around negative thoughts, and has helped me to identify when I’m in a negative thinking loop- and release the false sense of security that being absorbed in obsessive thinking can give. Love that it’s research-based and worksAs many have been experiencing throughout the pandemic, my anxiety has gotten much worse over the last year to the point where I was in a constant state of distress. After doing some research, I stumbled upon this app. I was willing to try it out and pay for it for a month or two to see if it would do anything, and honestly the headspace I’m in after using the app consistently it’s drastically different. I find myself much more easily able to push past negative cognitions and fears. The app could use some work as far as grammatical structure and typos in some of the phrasings. There are little things I don’t like about it, but overall it’s simple, easy, and effective. I would definitely recommend trying it out..Version: 2.2.5

Probably the most immediately effective toolI have times when I need immediate relief from mental health symptoms (either from depression, anxiety, anger, or just negative thinking). I am in therapy, do yoga, tried meditation. But those are more preventatives. This app is so helpful when I’m in the moment of struggle. AmazingWoww! To be honest I realized I’ve had ocd recently and this discovery has made me beetter. After downloading this app and using the tools it provides to throw away the negative thoughts and embrace the positive ones, I’ve seen major changes in a short time. I have used the app 4-5 days in a row and haven’t had to use it again for a month now. I feel soo much better and when I feel that I neeed it again I will use it. My only recommendation is to make it a little more personal to the person using it. I was looking for an app to help me with Tinnitus but ocd.app covers much moreI was looking for an app to help me combat Tinnitus after a concussion injury. The OCD.app does so much more and through being diagnosed with a major depressive disorder and finding modules that I can relate to, the ocd.app has, by using cognitive behavioural therapy helped me with many of my thought processes every day. I could almost say that the app has saved my life because before I was using it I was in a spiral that did not look good. I have recommended the app to anyone who I recognise as having a problem that I feel this app may help them with. It costs nothing to try. Great appI’ve been using this app for about a week - 10 days (a bit more intensively than the recommended 3-4 mins a day) and already I’ve noticed a shift in my thinking patterns to a more positive mindset. Really good for self-affirmations/positive thinkingThis is my first review for an app and I am an 10+ years IPhone user. When I find myself overthinking, overstressing, and over anything that deals with anxiety, OCD, etc., the phrases or statements on this app pops up in my head to remind myself that everything will be ok.
