✓ Such a shameThis app was fantastic while we were in a country they actually cover, don’t be fooled this app barely covers any of the continents. You’ll only get strike data for a handful of countries be sure to download the free one first to see if your somewhere they actually cover. It sure why they say they cover the world when really it’s really o my a couple of spots..Version: 6.5.3
✓ Rain doesn’t show majority of the time with new updateLiked the rain screen prior to update but now rarely shows rain.Version: 6.2.1
✓ Lightening trackerI’m somewhat disappointed with this app I throughly that it would be a lot better then ‘his I heart the notifications sounds on my phone but that’s it it doesn’t show me me exact location of the lightening or where it’s coming from there is just this very broad yellow color that’s covering the whole screen like I just said I don’t see where lightening is I just see this very broad yellow color on the entire screen on my cell phone and I don’t know what this means please correct this feature on this app thank you.Version: 2.0.4
✓ Utter rubbishLightening flashing all around me at the moment and not a single one of them shown on this app. Home and Dry app has them to perfection showing exactly where they are (I have my drone up confirming bearing etc). This app shows nothing for about 40 miles. Don’t waste your time money or effort on this app. Screen shots have been taken for any doubters..Version: 6.2.4
✓ Truly GreatYour lighting alarm no longer works!! Someone correct this glitch. In the center up on top of my iPhone Mac Plus screen there is a red bell that shows up with a line through the bell every time I would touch the volume button on the left hand side of the phone. I have done what I could to get the red bell un muted but it but it keeps coming up muted it seems. That’s the only thing I notice could be causing the volume not to be heard. I truly apologize it’s just frustrating when lighting does happen the phone will flash but with no volume..Version: 4.1.6
✓ Radar not workingEvery update for this app makes the radar worse. It used to show rain easily but now it takes a while or doesn’t show at all. When it does load it’s in patches and if I zoom out it disappears and doesn’t show up unless I quit and go back in. Hopefully it gets fixed because it’s my favourite part of the app..Version: 6.2.3
✓ Very MisleadingThis app is going to get someone killed. There is no such thing as any sort of free real time lightning detection. As this app builder may want to research there are some big legalities behind providing lightning data to the public. I use a commercial weather company which does provide real time lightning data provided by the NLDN. In the example I just ran it shows 1 strike about 12 miles from my location. Where my commercial app shows 179 within my 8 mile “do not be outside” range. I let this app run for 15 minutes as it again states and nothing changed. If you need this for more then personal use do some research on real weather companies..Version: 1.8.7

✓ Possible Security Issue.I installed this app to help with notifications of lightning strikes in the area. We have an antenna and mast that stands in our back yard. When storms are in the area, we lower our antenna to reduce the chance of a strike. This app, I thought at the time, would be a great help. Once installed, and permission given for notifications, it seemed to work fine later that day when it notifies us of lightning strikes in the area. That’s when I noticed something else about the app. I started getting warnings about possible security issues on our home network. They were identified as coming from same Internal IP address as my iPad. Only my iPad, and nothing else. After several check and further warnings from our network, I removed the app. I have not had those warnings since. I’ll leave it up to Apple and you as to whether you should install it. As for us, we will not be using it. I have never had an app trip our security before, and nothing since removing it..Version: 6.4.10

✓ Not loving the updatesI am a storm chaser and used to absolutely love this app, but since the new update not loving it. Super slow now and glitches. I have to constantly zoom in and out to get the radar working properly. Very frustrating as this was my go too app..Version: 6.3.2

✓ No nearby strikes show on mapThere’s been a thunderstorm happening for the last 30 minutes or so and I received a notification there was lightning in the area, but there’s no strikes showing on the map..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Needs a fix.Just doesn’t seem to work for me anymore. Lots of lightning going off around me and nothing is showing. It did tell me whenever there was a strike but now it just doesn’t. Hope you can fix this..Version: 6.2.4
✓ Great lightning tracker ⚡️Good, dependable tracker app. Not sure if you can possibly add a lightning tracker widget, similar to Weather Bug. They are the only weather providers that provide the legacy widget live lightning tracker, but no one has yet created an IOS 16 home screen widget app for this. Even Weather Bug's new home screen widget does not provide lightning tracking, only their old widget..(I've made several reviews for this to no avail..) Maybe your app can include an IOS 16 home screen widget for a live lightening tracker?? (distance in kms) I love storm chasing. 🙏🏻⛈️.Version: 6.3.2
✓ Battery monsterThis should have been a lovely little app but it demolishes battery. In the last 10 days, 46% of my battery usage was this app - for only 1min of on-screen time. I thought my battery was broken but deleting this app totally solved the issue. It’s a shame, but for outdoor activities, this makes the app unfit for purpose..Version: 6.4.10

✓ I hope it’s just a bug...The app seems to freeze when I open it, meaning I can’t press any of the buttons, move the map etc. on the occasion it does load, it then freezes within minutes, for example I’ll use the location button and then then map won’t load. ✓ Don't trust it!Been using app for some time now. Don't know where it gets its 'radar' data from but we have recently been in middle of thunderstorms with no rain showing for hundreds of miles! ✓ Intrusive full screen popup adsApp works well but the increasing frequency of full screen popup ads is super annoying and sometimes there is no X visible to close out of them so guess what, no lightning for you. Keep that up and it will be deleted, otherwise would be 5 stars..Version: 6.1.0

It’s clear people get this app, hear thunder, look at this app and think ok it must be correct. ✓ Works sometimesWhen information updates it is reliable and accurate. However there seems to be an issue where the banner ads take priority and data for the app will not load. To fix, cancel banner ad with the x and the app data should load..Version: 6.4.14
