✓ Controls Non-Intuitive Could be More User FriendlyThe actual display is good and weather timeline is mostly understandable but in some ways the overlapping graph lines running parallel along the screen seem to contradict the information above. I couldn’t see how to remove ‘null’ location (annoying). Adding extra locations didn’t seem to work. A quick run-through at startup would have been useful rather than a seemingly barebones app. Nice try but needs work to be more user friendly. Even Google Maps (and they have the budget of a medium sized country) is a bit clunky when one wants to change search settings. Particularly when on the move, driving. Some problems with location services (based on my physical location, I would often get forecasts for “my location” that was actually several hundred miles away). Then the ad banners started. I was able to put up with the ads, and the location detection got better. This last change now strips away existing features and places them behind a pay wall. The only advantage of this app (vs my other sources) was the ability to quickly check out the weather in the various locations I had saved. Without this feature, the app is much less useful than my other app choices. An additional note: I could customize winds to display in mph, kph, or m/s—whereas wind is usually expressed in knots (at least by people who are keenly interested in the wind)..NGrahamHicksVersion: 3.3

✓ Ok app but ads annoyingI get that app developers have to put ads in to get money to fund development, but they are very annoying. A process of checking the weather that should take less than 30 seconds takes far longer. Once you get past the ads, the app itself is good and as accurate as can be given Mother Nature and her mood swings! The home page is a little cluttered with targeted advertising but it’s also full of useful information. I haven’t found pollen count info, which is helpful to me as a hay fever sufferer, it’s not that it’s not there I just can’t find it amongst the home page and it’s content..AButtonsVersion: 2.4

✓ App feedbackI really like the look and feel of this app, but there is one thing that I would like to see addressed. When the app is opened, it always opens up with the topmost selection in the saved locations. I’m a snowbird and spend half of my time in Florida and half of my time in Massachusetts, and would like to easily be able to rearrange the list of saved places so that the app opens up to where I am. If I turn on current location, It tells me that I’m in cities that are 100 miles away, or more. It looks like it’s picking my location based on my IP address which is usually somewhere other than where I physically am, and if it’s NOT using my IP address, then the app really and truly has no idea of where I am. If you delete a saved location, from say,it’s 4th spot down on the saved list, there is no easy way to get it back to that spot that I’ve found, other than to delete every saved location after that then re-enter all of them in the order you want them in. So, right now, my winter residence is in saved position #1, and my summer residence is in saved position #4, and I can’t find any way to easilyswap them around. ✓ Frequently watchingI wish you would put Holloway, Louisiana on your map. The only app I’ve been able to get it is The Weather. We are near Pineville and Deville, but don’t always have exactly the same weather and definitely not at the same time. When making plans it’s important to be able to know the weather for your outdoor area. I like the font you use. It is easy to read. Thanks for your accuracy on reporting and predictions. ✓ There are better!!!After using this app for almost 6 months, I have found that a number of locations are not found when you try to add them. This seems to be the only weather app I’ve tried that seems to have this problem. I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on this thing before testing it out thoroughly. Granted, it is a very good looking app and provides a lot of good info for locations it can find, but all in all useless if it can’t find simple locations such as Cheyenne Wyoming, Casper Wyoming, Prudhoe Bay Alaska, just to name a few. Yes, Prudhoe Bay Alaska is also known as Deadhorse Alaska, but if one would not know this they would probably give up on that location. It should actually be found under both names!!! If you look at any of the other reviews where the reviewer is critical of this app, note that the developers response (if any at all) is this almost copy and paste...not very helpful!!! ✓ Good but needs to be finished... minor issuesIt is hard to believe there is not a simple clean app for weather out there that I can find. This app is good not great. One week I showed Sunday twice?? Second is the first location always shows null. Not sure why. Lack of a clean radar link is annoying at times. ✓ Currently my favorite weather appClosest thing to what weather underground used to be. After their new update they destroyed a perfect app. I tested all the other apps and this was the best organized. It has most of what you want to see up front and easy to see. The forecast graph is the best of all the current apps, but barely tolerable compared to the old Weather Underground. The bigger gripe is that all the times run together, so if your vision isn’t 20/20 it’s too difficult and you really have to spend too much energy separation the time. It’s a graph put the rain percentages in as a visual instead of numbers. Everything is ten times easier and faster to see and comprehend when it’s a visual. Otherwise you might as well be looking at a spreadsheet and be like every other app out there. Copy the old Weather Underground and you’ll be the best app BY FAR..TedieeVersion: 2.3

✓ Needs fixingThis app is OK with the potential to be very good, but it has some bugs that need to be fixed. The radar map doesn’t work and there are very few locations that can be looked up, although it does pick up my local weather data. I don’t know if the developer is serious about maintaining the app either. I’ve sent a message about the problems along with some ways I think the display can be improved but haven’t heard back, so I don’t know if the developer just wants to make a few bucks and never improve on what’s here. I have no problem with dropping a few bucks for a descendant app. However, this guy demands a subscription! And it ain’t cheap either! What a rip off! He writes a short program, with no maintenance to speak of, and still he demands -10 buck a month! The app pulls data from publicly accessible sites, he has no investment at all! Are you kidding me? ✓ Lots of details - some bugsThere are a lot of details in this app however the bugs stop me from spending $6. Add locations and it seeeems to find them, but they just show up as " in the title bar. The weather radar is jumpy and you never get really what you select, the map often just jumps to some random location. Maybe it works in the US not too well in Canada..MJT58Version: 2.3

✓ PeskyThis thing will pester you to death for a review. Even after you buy it. Very irritating. I will update this after I use it a while longer. I like the weather part of app so far but is being overshadowed by constant begging for a review. I was waiting to see if anymore ads show up after buying the app, before I wrote a review. The main requirement in a weather app, to me, is that it show accurate weather. The temperature should be a no brainer for any app. The CURRENT temperature should be accurate. Within one or two degrees of other apps. Two or three weeks ago this app started showing wrong temps. When compared to other apps, it’s around 6 or 7 degrees warmer. I can tell when it’s in the 30’s and this app is showing 46. It was very accurate up until the last few weeks. What happened folks? This simply won’t work for me.
