Daylio Journal - Daily Diary for Positive User Reviews

Keeps track of me when I don’t.Awesome program, happy it is there for me.Version: 1.56.3

Simple and EasyCute app to use if your wanting a quick and clear diary to track your mood.Version: 1.25.0

Very usefulThis is an awesome app. It allows you to record how you’re feeling, both at the time of writing, and before hand. It’s simple and easy to use, and although it doesn’t have the complexities of emotions recorded, it’s easy to see at a glance roughly how you were feeling each day. I love the line graph and analytics it has with it, making it easy to see if you’re having a good month or not. I think the only improvement I would make would be to have a line graph option for the yearly statistics, using the data from each day, having 365 points on it rather than twelve bar graphs of each month, because the average mood for a month doesn’t always accurately reflect if you had a bunch of really bad days and a bunch of really good days or just a load of meh days..Version: 1.3.2

Love it!I've always wanted a way to track my mood. I've tried bullet journaling however I couldn't stick with it. I genuinely love being reminded to track my mood everyday because I often forget. The reminders are friendly and inviting, and they don't pop up annoyingly. I also love seeing my progress throughout the month! The activity selection is great to see what makes me happy, and what often gets me down. It's an awesome way to understand what could be deflating my mental health. It's honestly an awesome app, great job guys 😊.Version: 1.6.1

100% DownloadI really love this app! I write about my day and set goals I would really recommend thank you to who ever made this 😘.Version: 1.51.1

Daylio has been incredibleI've always had trouble identifying moods and linking behaviours. I started using Daylio in 2019, and the achievements are so motivating to keep going. Even if it's just one mood I remember to post for the day, it's been such an invaluable tool to keep track of my mind. I was never a big fan of "mental health" apps but this was a game changer for me. I highly recommend it. Plus it just looks cute..Version: 1.34.2

Fantastic mood trackerLove this mood tracker! It’s so customizable. From app colours to moods to activities to goals. You can customise it to perfectly record your mood against any activity. Gives great little weekly summaries full of pictures I popped in with some records and I’ve just had my yearly one drop in. You can see your mood stability and best day of the week and which activities correlated with what activities. Fab app! Well worth the pretty low yearly subscription price for something you can make work perfectly for you..Version: 1.56.2

A lot of fascinating info on activities moods and attitudes5 stars for Daylio - you think you aren't doing anything particularly exciting except earning a crust and sleeping - logging moods and activities a few moments a day builds up incrementally and the information is displayed via interesting displays. The recent ability to write additional notes plus adding pictures also can create a diary more accessible than an old fashioned written book. I am more positive more often, and I do more since I started this, and it builds on itself as you do -and the yearly report proves it. It's only the one life, take every step to make the most of it..Version: 1.47.0

Brung me back to the year in secondsNormally i’d write intresting stuff in a notebook somewhere. i constantly lose it so i am never able to maintain a weekly streak. however this app has helped me maintain a real diary where i get to look at real memories by typing the date or scrolling through the months. i am much more happier that i found this app instead of not. also i made it through the year with the app, and scrolling to see your best day and month and the images you sent/took on the app restores heart-warming nostalgia that year. 10/10 app and would definitely recommend to a friend literally. 💛💛💛💛💛.Version: 1.55.3

Brilliant AppI started using Daylio alongside another similar app and decided to give them both a trial them pick the one I liked best. Daylio was the winner. The price for premium is really good. Not a rip off at all and worth paying for lifetime access. A lot of these types of app charge a lot more especially for lifetime. I love how I don’t need to write anything if I don’t want to and can instead track my mood simply. I do though personally find it cathartic to write something every day no matter how small, about how I’ve felt and what I’ve been up to. I enjoy being able to see my stats and what effects my mood most etc. The achievements are a great idea as well. Really great app which I plan to recommend to others. Thanks Daylio!.Version: 1.11.1

Seriously best app i’ve usedI’ve been using daylio for 882 days straight as a journal, and it’s easily the only app that has ever been this helpful in tracking my daily activities. the last 2+ years have been full of helpful updates, and i give big props to the developers for implementing all the new ideas people have had! there are only 2 things i’ve found that would make this app even more useful to longtime users. when exporting data into a excel or PDF, it doesn’t export the pictures - it would be fantastic if there could be some way to add the photos along with the rest of the data. secondly, i was recently disappointed to note there wasn’t an apple watch feature - even just being able to quickly tap moods and activities on the watch would make sure that users don’t forget a day (as that often happens when preoccupied). either way, daylio is the best purchase i’ve ever made!! the analytics feature is so comprehensive, and the fact that you can search keywords to go back and look on past dates is awesome!!! please keep it up guys, you’re doing great!!.Version: 1.36.0

It’s good but..I’m happy enough with the app to have paid for the premium version but I would love there to be more functions. The ability to upload photos would be great and also a way to change the colours of individual activity icons. I suffer from chronic illness and use the diary to track my health so would love it to be a bit easier to look back and clearly see if there are any patterns in my activity/health that might help me moving forward. Other than that, it’s a really easy to use diary app which I would recommend..Version: 1.14.0

Awesome App!I’ve never really reviewed an app before but i thought i would do it for daylio because it’s an amazing app! i’ve had it for AWHILE like since june. and i’m writing this on november 15th so that’s 6 months! i actually have a streak of 142 days of logging in. the app is so cool to track your moods, and you can change what you want to track. for example if you got a goal done such as drinking water or going on a walk. you can track if you got good or bad sleep or your mood, if your good, meh or bad (you can also change what the mood things are) there are sometimes things that “recommend” you to get premium, you can but it’s pretty useless because you can still do a lot without it. anyways this was my review and opinion, some people might not like it but i love the app! everyone should try it if you don’t want to journal in a notebook because this is a quick thing you can do everyday or every night. thanks for reading ☺️👍.Version: 1.28.0

Love this app, definitely recommend!!!Have always wanted to keep a journal or diary but have never been able to keep to one, however, I have been using this one for a while now and i absolutely love it. I have paid to unlock the features but you honestly don’t need to (personally I paid for the lock feature). I love that I can write down my feelings about something that has happened to me in the day in short little bits and look back at them at the end of the end of the week. I can’t wait to see what my monthly graph is going to look like & I love that I can set a reminder to write things down! Been looking for an app like this for a while (that is also simple to use) and now I’ve found the perfect one, thank you! :).Version: 1.8.2

Best data everThis information really helps me get perspective on how my life is going. Without it I would always believe my life is bad. Here is the data to show that my mood doesn’t match my experiences of happiness and great days. So helpful, thank you!!.Version: 1.55.3

CooolJ'aime Bin sa c plus vite que d'écrire papier so its cool 👍🏻.Version: 1.33.0

MindfulnessThis app has really helped me become more self aware by paying attention to details that would normally escape me. I can quickly associate very specific events with certain moods, thanks to the statistics that the app gives you. I was quick to customize and add very specific activities including having a good conversation or an argument. I even added little details like specific types of exercise, eating out, packing a lunch, etc to make sure that I am holding myself accountable to the choices I make in a day and the mood that I experience. I cannot tell you how cathartic it is to log my activity and to see these associations, realizing that I’m in a better mood when I see my friends and exercise, versus being in a lousy mood when I eat out or watch tv. These are actionable observations - opportunities for me to choose the activities that I can see put me in a better mood. I recommend this app to anyone trying to get in a better headspace or me more mindful of their feelings and their choices..Version: 1.8.2

Great, easy to use and nice app designI downloaded the free version of this app and within an hour paid for the premium version. I highly recommend this app even for people without mental illness and even for people who hate journaling. Understanding your moods alongside different activities on a daily basis is beneficial to everyone. I like being able to customize my specific activities and adding additional moods with the smiley faces. It doesn’t replace journaling entirely but it makes it way easier to quickly log feelings/activities throughout the day. Being able to add quick notes along with the mood/activity is fantastic because by the end of the day I don’t always remember why I was anxious at 11am. This helps me figure out patterns in my daily life to try and reduce anxiety/depression. The design of this app is clean, easy to use and quick. I also enjoy how many setting options there are such as having the app remind me at certain times of the day to log how I’m feeling..Version: 1.8.2

Cool, but needs password freeOK the password option is in premium, but I would appreciate it if it Could be put in the normal version, because privacy is very important and I do not want people seeing what I wrote. I would also appreciate something that hides what is am writing after I write it, like what happens what youut in a password, dots appear to cover the letters. Thanks, awesome app though.Version: 1.12.2

Use it every nightBig fan of this app, would recommend.Version: 1.56.2

My #1 journal companionThis app has held all of my biggest accomplishments, most intimate moments, and darkest days for 6+ years. I love that I can add 2 photos on every entry. I often think about my life going undocumented and tiny moments being forgotten, but this app prevents that from happening. I look back on the first day of school, work, of meeting someone special, and the internal process it took to make those decisions, and I admire the journey I’ve been through. I recommend this app to everyone!!.Version: 1.56.1

Great app, but i have a suggestionThis is a fantastic app, but i really wish we could use more than 5 emotions (referring to the colours, you can have multiple emotions per colour but i want to have the ability to add more emotions with different colours) I think this would be good for people with bipolar, the happiest mood might not be elevated enough for a manic episode, or low enough for depression..Version: 1.36.0

Just BrilliantWhat a fantastic easy way of keeping a journal. Great also for tracking moods, what affects you etc. Actually it can be used for all sorts of things a monthly cycle and symptom record for women for example. Or a fitness wellbeing good/bad habit tracker! This wonderful little app has so many uses than just the basic one as advertised. I agree with another user that the provider has done themselves a great dis-service. You would be better to just give the basics free as a chance to test it out. Maybe just have a maximum of 6 moods and 10 activities. Plus up to 3 lines of text per entry etc. With unlimited activities and moods/text etc with the full paid for app. Maybe in the future you could add the ability to add a small photos to the entries. As for people grumbling about notifications, just go into settings and turn them off! I also don’t get why people complain about the ability to not set a password in the free app. Most phones have a password don’t they? Just lock your phone..Version: 1.10.3

Great start - so much potential - but has a way to go...Love the simplicity of this, esp. the ability to customise mood settings & set regular activities. Has huge potential and it is a great communicative tool - simple and accessible. Useful that can share data at least in csv - can add it to a Day One journal (although the csv format is a bit bleak). It does have some limitations that are a bit frustrating - can’t easily sync between devices, allow multiple accounts (eg so a family member can monitor another’s moods, or set up for a few kids & see in one spot), or send data to add to another family member’s version of the app. A wishlist for the developers: - accounts that allow sync between devices / entries from multiple devices is pretty important (esp for setting up activities) - if it could have settings to allow monitoring by a family member as well - would make this a really fabulous support tool - flex to add a greater range of moods would be great - eg to reflect a 10 point scale used by counsellors would be handy - flex to arrange actvities ingroups, and break activities into a couple of screens of categories.Version: 1.4.0

Favorite appBeen using daylio for 5 years now! i love it.Version: 1.56.3

BrilliantI have been looking for a journaling app that’s simple enough yet allows me to download and reflect on my day. This app does simply that! The app is definitely worth 5 stars but I also can not wait to see future updates and additions to make it even better..Version: 1.8.2

Love itBeen using for two years and i love tracking everything i do and feel this app feels the easiest to use and understand i also find the activity icons very cute - heaps of variety too :).Version: 1.38.1

Great app, one suggestion. The app works exactly how I need it to. I love a simple interface and easy usability which this app has. You can make it as simple as possible of inputting your mood with any notes for the day. You can even change or add moods or emoticons or anything like that. You can also make it more in depth if need be. I only have one suggestion that would make this a five-star app for myself. And that would be if I could voice record. Because I actually do use it as a diary as well. I do go in and sometimes just only put the face with a small note or just the face I want. But some days I write a big old long paragraph for my own sake, my own memories, so I can go back and look at it and learn from it. But it would be amazing if I could voice record something very quickly. Now I do use speech to text but a lot of time it doesn’t always say all the right words, then I still have to go in and read it, and so on. I do a lot of my moods when I’m in the car ironically enough. So if you guys could please add a voice recording option in the notes section I think that would be the one thing to top it off for my sake. Hope you guys really actually look into that. Awesome app awesome job and thank you..Version: 1.8.2

What a great app!I’ve been using Daylio for more than 3 years now and it’s honesty changed my life. It’s an integral part of my daily routine; I use the app to keep track of my mood over time, collect data & correlate activities with my mood, track progress towards my goals & keep a journal on my life. I use the app every day, and this year I wrote 40k words (a small book!) I’ve been able to read back and reflect at the highlights and lowlights of a whole year. The team are actively improving the app and often roll out new features that make the user experience even better. Thank you guys so much for such a cheap & fantastic product - you are doing awesome work and really making people’s lives better. P.S… wish you’d build an API, but that’s another story ;).Version: 1.47.1

I use this app every dayI have been using this app for I think over a year or so, I have a streak of 538 or something. This app has seen my worst, and my best days, and it’s a really good way to ground yourself. As someone who struggles with their mental health a bit, it’s really good to bring me into the present, and really understand my feelings. I have recommended it to various friends, and we all love it!! I love how you can log every day if you have completed your goal (it can be anything which you choose when setting up, and can change later if you want) and it keeps a streak for it. And if you forget to log a day you can go back and log it in!! Love this app for much, and I highly recommend!!!.Version: 1.47.1

Best Mood Tracker So FarI’ve tried several mood trackers from the App Store and have found this one to be the best for me. I decided to pay for the premium version each month because I liked it so much, so some of the features I enjoy may strictly be premium features I’m not sure. I enjoyed the ease of editing and adding ‘moods’ to fit what I was feeling as five kinds isn’t enough for me to accurately gain data. I like the simplicity of adding activities, at first I thought I wouldn’t use this feature but it’s interesting to gain insight into what activities you do most and which moods are reflected during or after certain activities. Being able to add a note and photo to my entry helps make the process more enjoyable and less of a chore as well as making it a more personal experience. Being able to customise the colours and moods also helps with this. Like I said I tried several apps when searching for one to accurately track my moods and found that this one just stuck. I’ve also had trouble in recents years looking for an app suitable to my needs so I am glad to find this one. Thank you to the Daylio team! You have helped me discover valuable information for my medical practitioners and myself..Version: 1.31.4

1 year!I’ve been using this for one year on and off now and absolutely love it. It’s so easy to look back at old memories and things you’ve done (if you remember to write them down) and is nice to see how much ur mental health changes and things you’ve learnt. Although the mood filter I don’t personally look at too often as I don’t know how to make it accurate as I seem to have days I’ve put as good that have been worse than my average days now purely because of the situation I was in at the time so it looks like I was happier when I was at my worst😂but I would love to be able to use it if I can make it more accurate it is probably a brilliant feature if you know how to use it..Version: 1.42.1

Have been journaling w/ daylio since 2020From 2015 - 2020, I completed a physical one-line-a-day 5 year journal. For some reason I couldn’t stay so consistent with my second book. I got Daylio as a replacement, it’s amazing if you are a committed day journaller but don’t always have the time to sit and write. The buttons make it easy to record what you did in a day so you can reference it later. I use the notes section for my long-form journaling of the day. I’ll probably be using Daylio for as long as it exists..Version: 1.56.2

A great way to track your day to day lifeI got this app on January 1st so that I could keep tabs on how my year is going so far. I absolutely love the new Year in Pixels feature, I think it's a great way of seeing your year at a glance. I bought the premium version within my first week as I was so impressed, and I've not yet missed a day! Tracking your mood for the day is so quick and easy. If I had one suggestion for improvements, it would be that when adding your own activities/moods, if your word is too long it gets cut off into two lines. Sometimes this happens after 6 characters, sometimes 7 or more, but I wish there was a more elegant solution than having my "peaceful" mood changes into "peacefu l", for example..Version: 1.10.3

This is brilliantThis app is amazing! Absolutely brilliant! Exactly what I was looking for. This app is a place where I can document what I'm feeling easily and with no complication. The way this app is set up makes it easy for consumers to understand fully what's going on and how to manipulate the app! Completely usable even without premium and just as effective! The app doesn't bug you into buying premium but I would if you can afford it to support such brilliant apps like this! Love it!.Version: 1.3.2

My favourite self care appI don’t think I’ve ever written a review before for any app but I had to with this one . I’ve been using it every single day since 2019 , reason being was that I wanted to analyse what I’m doing day to day and how my mood is and basically use it to improve my life . I realised I wasn’t doing much every day and so I made myself do more activities and logged them which motivated me more to do them again for the next day and so on. I love coming to this app at the end of my day to put my activities and feelings and photos. Overall for me personally I use it as if I’m journaling and also so I could see a bigger picture of what I am doing so I can improve my life and daily activities . I recommend !.Version: 1.42.1

Best Diary AppDaylio is highly customisable regarding moods and activities and therefore it is perfect to help manage mood related disorders (anxiety in my case.) The same would be true for any type of medical diary - pain, migraines, intolerances etc. You can export entries as PDFs as well if you need to discuss the entries with your doctor or therapist, which is great. It is possible to set reminders and goals as you wish and charts and stats are not only interesting to look at but can be compared and filtered by activities. This way, you can identify what is improving or worsening your mood and work on yourself and your lifestyle. Daylio is great, looks cute and is well worth the one time fee for Premium..Version: 1.38.1

BestI’ve tried many many mood and habit tracking apps and this knocks every single one out of the park. The ability to track multiple variables, it’s simplicity and the fact that you can export the data if you want to look in more detail than the visuals allow, are all fantastic features..Version: 1.55.3

AmazingLove love love this app.Version: 1.56.2

One of the best out thereI’ve heard about this app for a while but have only started using it religiously now. In such a short amount of time journaling has become my go to whenever I have a lot on my mind and need to de-stress. Given that I often have my phone on me, Daylio has made journalling so much easier. I love the added notes section and I admit that I tend to fill it up with paragraphs of writing, so with that being said, the new update has definitely enhanced my experience using this feature. In the future, it would be great if we could mark any entry as a ‘favourite’ that way we could easily look back on it. Overall, it’s been extremely helpful and I do see myself upgrading..Version: 1.42.1

BrilliantI’ve been looking for an app that does exactly what this one does for a very long time. Perfect, thanks!.Version: 1.8.2

Can’t recommend enough 💕Don’t think I’ve ever reviewed any app but I have to make an exception for Daylio as it is all round just a fantastic app. I’ve used it for years now and while it already met my needs to start with I’ve seen many great new features being added (photos, quick goals, year in pixels etc) and I love the more advanced statistics it gives you (e.g. moods with activities). Overall it’s been incredibly helpful tracking my mental health both before and through a global pandemic, helping me build healthy habits and evaluate personal relationships etc. I can’t recommend this app enough and it’s absolutely worth premium too 🥰thank you developers and here’s to many more days.Version: 1.33.0

Can’t go without itDaylio is one of my favourite apps. I use it every night before bed to log my mood and the events of my day. As someone who struggles mentally, Daylio has helped me to be able to keep track of my different moods, and understand exactly why they may be happening through logging different activities and emotions. I am able to log all my thoughts and feelings, which has genuinely helped me!.Version: 1.47.0

ThankyouThankyou for making this amazing app. You are helping many people..Version: 1.11.1

My go to diary appI absolutely and without a doubt adore this app. I have been using this app regularly and have made it a routine to use it in the evening so most of the day has gone by but I’m not too tired to write. I love the simplicity of the app and also the customisability with the icons and the colours of the moods. This has become a must have app for me and I recommend it to lots of my friends to use even if they aren’t particularly regular with their updates. I like that I can also tally up my moods to see how the month has gone. I am yet to use the “goals“ system but I’m looking forward to getting into that as well. One thing that I would like to be able to do on the app is perhaps have the ability to add a picture even if not a video. I also would like if the apps look was a little more cute with icons etc even though I do love the simplicity of the app as something are use regularly it would nice to have the app look the way it does in the pictures on the App Store with the icons being at the bottom of the screen..Version: 1.17.1

Really helpful!Daylio really helped me. I just started with premium and it’s awesome! Hopefully it can start making everything free..Version: 1.56.2

Amazing for mental health/recovery.This app is awesome. I’ve had it for a few days and have now upgraded to premium. (What I also really like is that it’s not a subscription it’s a one-time purchase. Even cheap subscriptions I don’t bother with because the principle of it just annoys me and puts me off) I really struggle with my mental health and low mood and I’m trying to stay sober to improve my mental health. This app allows me to reflect upon my feelings throughout the day and to identify things that improve my mood and make me happier. The design is also very beautiful and uplifting. Great job and a really wonderful cause. I will be recommending this app to friends because it’s really helped me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are awesome!.Version: 1.14.0

The app I never knew I neededI’ve tried many different apps and program to journal my life because I like to let things out and it’s fun to look back at my past self. This has been designed so perfectly. It’s intuitive. Simple yet powerful. I was looking for a mood tracker but this doubles down as a diary/journal as well. The design compels you to think about the activities you’ve done during the day and allows you to write notes to elaborate. In a sense the process you have to go through (which is quick and easy) allows you to be more mindful of how your day went. And for me, that’s been greatly beneficial and not something I even realised I was doing until recently. Not much else to say but that this app can positively influence your life if you need it. I love it and I appreciate the developers’ hard work in designing and developing this app. Thank you and great job!.Version: 1.17.1

Trouble logging back inI created an account years ago and was able to purchase the unlimited premium special. I last used it 2 months ago when my phone broke. Now that I have a new one (iPhone 11) I can’t seem to find a way to get my account back or find a way to login on the app. Someone please help me I have years worth of entrees that I would like to keep..Version: 1.31.4

Best diary app there isI cannot say just how much I love this app! I have been journaling in it now for years, since December of 2018 actually! I write in every single day, sometimes a lot, sometimes basics. What I really love is that you can add photos and make all the little activity icons that your little heart could ever want! Sometimes just by ticking each of those activities from your day is enough to tell about your day without even writing a word. And if you don’t write that day then you can always go back to it and add in details later! I love being able to look back and just see everything. Love that it lets you look at stats and search for different days you did activities or moods. There is just so much data you can pull from this that it makes my organized and analytical heart so very happy! Developers there is only one thing I would want, and I would be willing to pay a lot for, and that is ability to go back and journal for any day from any year ever. That way I could go back and add pics from my childhood and jot down memories that go with them! How cool would that be! Please consider it, I’m sure others would love that feature too! Thank you all for making, maintaining, and continually making this app the best thing ever!.Version: 1.48.5

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this app!I absolutely love this app. I have always had a need to journal—but who has the time? This app makes it fun and fast, and so I do it. All the essentials like time and date are automatic, and you can customize it to your situation. It’s pretty intuitive, easy to learn, and forgiving. I tried it out and subscribed immediately. In the last almost-three weeks of use, it has helped me track data and correlate health improvements, communicate clearly with my doctors, remember to feed the fish, reinforce good habits, etc. It has infinite possibilities that I am only now glimpsing. I wish I had had it when I was taking care of my elderly mom—it would really have helped coordinate (and probably improve) care among her various caregivers. Kudos to you, Daylio creators! P.S. As an experiment, I have been trying to get light exposure at sunrise and sunset. You have a cute sunrise icon (line drawing of sun with arrow pointing up), but apparently no matching sunset icon. I easily reported “missing icon” through the app. Fun!.Version: 1.45.3

Easy to UseI find it very easy to use daily and really like to see the monthly and yearly recaps. Daily quotes are cute and I love being able to create my own goals and activities. Recommended to friends and family.Version: 1.56.3

CustomizableThis is an interesting little app. I deal with low moods and anxiety so like having something to track what generally helps and what makes it worse. I really like the goal feature so I can set a reminder to write every day. It’s also nice to be able to customize your activities so you can keep the options limited to what’s relevant to you. The wide range of icons you can assign to activities is kind of fun to play around with. The only reason I don’t give five stars is that the layout can be cluttered and overwhelming to look at. It would be nice to have the option to hide and/or rearrange sections of the stats screen so you only see what’s important to you. For instance, I really don’t care about achievements, overall activity count, etc, but this all clutters up the page. Also, the advanced statistics can be confusing. I’m not sure what confidence and next day influence mean. I tried to look at the app faq but didn’t see anything to help guide on this. Overall, though, there are some neat and helpful functions here for mood tracking. It’s worth a try!.Version: 1.23.0

Not badThis app is actually okay, it reminds me to express how I feel how my day went and other things. Very nice!.Version: 1.34.1

Great app!I’ve been using Daylio for 3 years now and I love it. It helps me look back and see how I’m doing as well as reminds me to pause at the end of the day to reflect. I also bring it to my mental health appointments, which provides useful information! I’ve only used the free version, and I find that is sufficient for my needs. I appreciate that it works well, is easy to use, and does what I want it to do. Very happy and I hope this app sticks around forever!! Thank-you..Version: 1.56.2

Best journaling and tracking app ever. This app is everything and more. Completely customisable, works seamlessly, really good for the old dopamine rewards in my ADHD brain and from starting out using it almost three years ago with just the standard moods and activities, writing nothing in the note section, I have grown through this app and now have never missing a day in almost 1,000 days I have progressed to journaling my life, my moods and my activities. I can see how many migraines I had in any given period, how often I was ill, how often I saw friends, how often I remembered my meds, how many days I dedicated some quality time each one of my kids! I LOVE this app. Please never stop running it!.Version: 1.30.0

BrilliantThis app is amazing because it doesn’t force you to write much, you can just press some quick buttons. Personally, I choose to pour my heart and soul into the notes section but getting the discounted premium deal was honestly one of the best decisions. I love the new update, how you can now add photos which makes it even greater. Will definitely use this for a long long time I always feel happier after using this app. 🙂I really love this app, great with feedback as well, like when I had a storage problem. Maybe a suggestion? Like I said, I write a lot, so maybe having the option to fold up the text like when there’s a long message and it doesn’t show it all immediately but still have the option to have them spread out, if that makes any sense, and maybe having words highlighted when searching them. This app is amazing definitely recommend!.Version: 1.30.1

An indispensable toolDear Dalio Team. Congratulations on building an amazing app that I use every single day. Dalio is the perfect combination of elegant design and simple, practical, usefulness. You have helped me start a habit that creates the raw material that I can use to understand my point of view from last week, last month, last year. Having a record of how I was feeling and the circumstances surrounding those feelings has been a indispensable tool of my own emotional wellbeing. I also love the journaling function. And that is the space where I have a recommendation. I have been writing in your app for more than 850 days in a row. Those journal entries range from a couple of sentences to a couple of pages each. While the convenience of having your journal with you anytime, any place is an wonderful innovation, the functionality of moving through a feed makes looking backward less easy than a physical journal. Here are a couple of suggestions to remedy. Create a skim feature for journal entries. Being able to move quickly through the content would be helpful, like opening up your journal in a random place and flipping through pages. Use AI to read my journal and make connections that my little brain cannot. Suggest past entries that correlate to my here and now (by date, activity, mood etc). Thanks for all of the love that you put into your app..Version: 1.38.1

I use it everyday!A great mood tracker. I use it everyday! Really helps me keep track of my moods especially when I struggle with my mental health, I can show it to a healthcare professional..Version: 1.56.2

Great to help me keep on track with my moods.I’ve always had horrible mental health and since I get serious lapses in memory this app has been absolutely fantastic at keeping track of when my mood dips and when I have manic moments. I love how customisable it is with activities and mood variations (angry, depressed, suicidal etc) and at my next therapy session I will be able to give my therapist a better insight to my mood fluctuations on a hourly basis over the week instead of trying to remember when I dipped or when I felt good. I highly recommend it and I’ve only been using it for a few days. If you want to keep track of your mood and what you were doing during that mood then this is DEFINITELY the app for you!.Version: 1.56.0

The best journal app!I’ve been using daylio for 1105 days straight and only now remembered to give it a review! i love this app, great easy process that i recommend to everyone, and i especially love what they’ve done for the year in review this year 🥰.Version: 1.56.0

Great appThis app is so helpful in my life and when I come home I like having this app to reflect back on my day😁.Version: 1.15.2

///LOVE/// this app!Been using this app since the start of 2019, it’s got a friendly UI, a lot of stats (love me some of those), customisable to the max, has a goals feature to help you keep track of, well, goals. It’s everything you need from a little mood app. Love this app and have been suggesting it to people for years. Developers if you read this: first of all, chef’s kiss to you, been a premium user for ages, hope it paid for someone’s coffee :) if I had one suggestion (it’s not quality of life so it doesnt really matter) but I’d love to be able to go to the yearly calendar and be able to press on the individual circles and have it take me to that specific day. Anyhow happy new year!.Version: 1.29.3

Seems kind of simple at first, but can be really helpful! When I first got this app, I felt a lot like there weren’t a ton of options and that it didn’t do much. The more I used it though, the more it proved to be really helpful. I have an anxiety disorder, depression, ptsd, and a generally stressful life. I have always tried to journal but would fall behind and feel it was tedious. This app makes that really easy! Just add every mood and feeling that you think is important to track. I have ones like, “stressful outing” or “cried” or “ate fast food”, etc. you can make one for anything! I paid the extra 2.99 for more symbols, but it was great even without that. I’ve been using it for over a month now, I think, and I’ve managed to log everyday, sometimes more than once. The app has “stats” that can be really helpful for tracking what you’re feeling a lot lately, what you’re doing mostly. I really recommend it! I usually add a little text “note” to my daily log, if I have the merge and that can help illuminate why I was feeling whatever way..Version: 1.12.2

Bipolar? Try it out.I’m Bipolar II and this app has been fantastic for monitoring my short term and long term mood/emotional state. It’s very difficult for me to remember (e.g. that I’ve felt happy before when I’m depressed), remember accurately or keep track of overall how I’ve felt in the past, but this app has been clutch for that. It’s honestly great for anybody though. You can put in multiple entries a day (which is great for me because I go all over the place). Another cool feature I didn’t expect to use as much as I did was adding my own customized moods to really fine tune things. The app, I’ve discovered, can also conveniently double as a diary. You can even add photos of that day to entries to help you remember all the things that happened throughout the month/year, like a time-capsule. I mean, I have a trash memory, and an even poorer sense of time (especially in 2020), and this app has been great for that. I’ve been using the app- as a 1) Journal, 2) Mood Tracker, 3) Photo Album, and 4) Daily Anchor (to check in with myself)- for about two years, and I honestly love it. Originally, I was only putting my mood in a few times a month (when I remembered to or when it was a particularly rough/great day), without any journal entries- just clicking on a mood-, so it’s not like you need to use it routinely. I found that even when I was using it rarely, it still helped. Anyway, give it a shot..Version: 1.30.0

FEEDBACKI really like this app. It’s easy to customise things to make journalising more suitable to your needs or style of reflecting. I just have a few suggestions to improve the app or make the app more enjoyable. Perhaps make an option to add a title for each day you journal. This allows us to summarise our day in a memorable title that is maybe 5 words long. This would be better then scrolling through entries that are only titles their date. Similar to the last idea, you should also include the option to include images from that day or a video. This would combine the idea of a photo a day or one second a day trend which is quite popular and is almost like a visual diary. Another suggestion is to add a speech to text option. This means instead of typing you can just speak your mind out. It doesn’t even have to translate into text. It can just be a voiceover. So that in the future we can listen to the voiceover and hear emotions. This is because I personally write a lot (as you may have noticed) and can get annoyed typing. Thanks!.Version: 1.19.2

Great because of simplicityGreat and easy app but detracted by the poor spelling in the hints. Would expect better given the cost..Version: 1.22.3

Use everydayReally really good value for the free version of the app, no ads.Version: 1.30.0

Daylio is AWESOME!I’ve been using this app since 2019. It was recommended to me by my counselor at the time. I honestly don’t use the app super frequently, there are certain times that I especially find it helpful. I’ve always enjoyed it and since the very start I saw the great benefit that this app could provide me and anyone else. For this past year I paid for an annual subscription which is well worth it in my eyes. There are many additional features that you have access to and the level of detail in their statistics of everything that you use it to track is extremely insightful. My “Yearly Report” really showed me a lot and confirmed many things especially like certain activities, tasks and moods that all correlate together. I am considering buying their Lifetime plan because, even though I only tend to use the service occasionally, it can be so useful for keeping track of many many things and most importantly your happiness and health. I highly recommend this app especially to anyone dealing with any kind of mental health struggles but also to literally everyone. 🤌🏼.Version: 1.56.2

Great AppI have been keeping track of my health and this helps with the Mental Health piece. It helps me reflect on my feelings, which in turn helps pinpoint things I am able to change. Positive experience. Definitely recommend..Version: 1.56.2

Great app that keeps on improvingI’ve had the app for a few years now, its simple and easy to use, passcode lock on the app, quick functions get you journaling quickly with weekly, monthly and yearly reports that you can go back and look at and a writing option that i use for a quick break down of my day with 3 points of gratitude journalling i add. Cheap price, money doesnt matter when trying to improve your mental health through the app. Keep it up daylio.Version: 1.38.1

Really enjoying using this appBeen using it since the beginning of the year. It’s simple to use, you can personalise your views, emotions and activities easily and the features seem appropriate. It’s also nice visually. My only bugbear is that the daily reminder will always send a notification to enter your day, even when you’ve already done it. It would be great for the notification not to be sent if you’ve already completed your update..Version: 1.19.4

Really helped me track my mental health progressLiterally never wrote a review before but i do use this every single day so it felt worth it. i payed for the premium on this too because it was so helpful. i’ve been keeping track of my mood everyday since august and also my progress since i deal with agoraphobia and anxiety. everyday i take pictures of where i’ve made it too and keep it in here with a note on what i did. i’ve found it really helpful to see where my mood is at, track my hormones, see which days are best for me etc. i honestly love this app and would recommend it to anyone, especially someone struggling with their mental health.Version: 1.38.1

Best journaling appLove this app it loads fast an it’s fun an has emojis an it’s cool an easy to use best journaling app ever thanks guys :’’) 💖💖💖💖.Version: 1.47.2

The best mood tracker I’ve found! This app does everything I could possibly want. I love the way you can categorize activities that have affected your mood on a certain day, all the cute emoji expressions and mood icons, the color customization options, the sleek calendar displays, the journaling feature… I could go on and on. And they keep adding features that I love! I particularly like the most recent feature that allows you to see which days of the month you have input different moods and activities. This app is exactly what I would have made for myself and is so much sleeker than I could have made. The free version is absolutely enough functionality for what I use it for. I wish there was a way to donate without upgrading to the premium version, to be honest. I want to see this app keep getting updates and I know funding is the best way to that, I just don’t personally really need the premium features. Thanks for making such a fantastic app! I love it and recommend it to everyone I know..Version: 1.44.1

5 Stars for functionality and set upThis is hands down the best app I’ve found for journaling as it’s quick and easy to use and the free features are excellent. Next step which would make it SO much more portable and fantastic would be an Apple Watch app. This would 100% better my commitment to the app and others as well. Please introduce this!! Fantastic app!.Version: 1.35.0

So useful!I love this app and how flexible it is to how you can change it to fit what you want to keep track of/log. The possibilities are endless and the layout of the whole app is simple and neat. One suggestion would be though on the “entries” page to have an option to not show that full summary with everything you logged because mine can get quite long! Doesn’t look so nice and more overwhelming.Version: 1.51.1

Great appGreat for keeping track, love the customisation.Version: 1.3.2

A nice daily-journal app.I've been using the app as a daily journal for two years, and I think that it's a great way to keep track of your mood from day to day. As someone with severe depression, it helps a lot to keep track of my activities and mood, but even if you aren't dealing with major mental-health struggles I think it would still be great. You can sign up for a premium subscription, but the free version works completely fine with very few drawbacks, so I've never had to subscribe at all. I would definetly recommend it, even if you've never kept a journal before!.Version: 1.50.2

The app I’ve been waiting for!Great little app which does the basics should you want them but I’d recommend buying the one off premium account as it unlocks a lot more customisation. As I’m currently in hospital with mental health I can easily track and monitor my moods and reactions to different situations through the day which i can then use to prompt me at therapy. The emojis are customisable and feel like they are limitless. One thing I’d like to maybe see in future updates is the option to maybe add a medication at a certain time so that you can see if your mood depends on whether regular medication is taken on time or at a certain time? Other than that a good job well done on a simple but effective app!.Version: 1.11.1

Wonderful yet lackingI always argue with myself about whether or not to renew my subscription. A few months before the subscription renews, I find myself abandoning the app. I don’t want to renew it because something is lacking. The correlation vs causation element isn’t as evident as I’d like it to be. For example, I have set to have my mood assessed every four hours (during waking hours, of course). I then choose a mood 1-5 and list what I’ve been doing the last four hours. Sometimes it’s shopping, with family, making art, with friends, etc. However, there is no good/bad element to this, so if my mood is bad, soon the app is correlating innocent things like time with family as frequently accompanied by my poor mood. It winds up just being a lot of data that I don’t know what to do with. I see no way to run experiments. It would be great to be able to automatically integrate data from Apple Health, showing things like HRV and sleep quality that would have an obvious bearing on mood and energy. So here I sit on the fence again, wondering what the point is. Am I learning anything from recording all of this, or is it just another compulsive activity to do on the phone? How can this make my life better? Something’s lacking here. As basic mood apps go, it’s really the best I’ve found, but then again, I’m not learning anything from the random activities I’ve charted every four hours. Therefore, why pay for another subscription?.Version: 1.48.7

Motivates meThis app is 10/10 ! I paid the 12$ to unlock everything and I’m happy I did so because now I can put more than one goal. The goal part of the app is super motivating. I find myself wanting to achieve my goals so I can write about it. All in all this is the best app I’ve ever had..Version: 1.15.2

Dayli-awesomeI want to preface by saying that this app is great, the simplicity as well as the constant reminders allow me to keep track of my life and the things I’m doing each day, as well as keep tracking my mood. Would recommend for any users to download, the filling out of the journal is so easy, that it is literally effortless to fill in each day. I would like to see an update that perhaps shows daily moods over the course of the year instead of organised in months, but it isn’t a major issue with the app..Version: 1.4.0

Perfect for Analysers 🥸I’ve been using Daylio now for a year, and it is fantastic. I use it to as a gratitude journal and to keep tabs of what activities are contributing to what moods. Their yearly analytics is next level and you can see exactly how Activites affect your mood, adapt and do more of the things you know, for a fact, improve your mood. I have an issue with not reading my entries back, and think it would be good to have a section to remind me what to do tomorrow. Not necessarily what to do, but something that I can write on day 1 and be reminded on day 2 to follow eg: Be more kind today or Dont forget to workout. Other than that, it’s perfect for growing yourself, becoming more self aware and learning how you tick. 5⭐️.Version: 1.38.1

Great appI love this app, it’s so app. truly the most app of the year!! very helpful and easy layout.Version: 1.55.3

Helped me out a ton!I got this app recommended to me in therapy and have been using it for well over a year. i love the visual and graph, as well as customisation. it's really helped me understand my emotions better, as well as mood patterns. thank you guys so, so much!.Version: 1.12.2

Amazingly Simple Mood and Life Data TrackerThis is the first review I’ve ever written for an app but this one deserves a review. I haven’t consistently journaled in years and have kicked myself every day as I continued to not journal. Sometimes it was the mind-block I’d experience when staring at an empty page, but most times I just don’t want to take the time and have to dig deep to think about my day and feelings. I have been using this for over a month and it is a fantastic investment! I have a horrible memory, so I don’t remember most days how I felt the day before, which makes it hard to figure out my general state of being. I’m also very visual, so having pictures of activities keep my head clear. Since using this, I can see trends between activities or lack of activity and my general state of mind. I tried this app before, and it didn’t stick for me, but this time I’ve made the commitment and have a nightly alarm reminder (which is key). I wish there was a way to track mood changes throughout a day, or to write new notes instead of editing or starting over for a day. It’s not like my mood is constantly changing, but if I have a great day, but have one bad experience in that otherwise great day, it would be cool to be able to document that separately. Otherwise, I’m thrilled with this app..Version: 1.10.3

Practical App For Self Reflection; Suggestion for Minor ImprovementsI am relatively new to Daylio, however I subscribed in relatively short order. Daylio is a powerful tool which has all the right foundational elements of a structured tool for self-reflection. Strengths: User experience is simple and efficient, app design is sleek and free of clutter, data exports enable added layer of analysis, integrated iOS Health data to correlate sleep tracking! Feedback: I find the native reporting could be much better if the custom grouped Activity were indexed and weighted for correlation against mood. I have customized my Activities (which are Grouped) to track tangible activities done throughout the day, mental indicators, physical indicators, diet, ambient conditions like weather, etc. As there are many inputs that may affect mood, I would find a lot of value in 1) a clearer distinction between the groups of activities for trending within a group and 2) expanded conditions when creating a custom activity (ie a categorization of the activity, or a weighting). If the groups were to allow another layer of categorization, the trending reports in-app would provide significant value..Version: 1.58.3

New userOnly just got this but wanted to say an early thank you. Setting it up has been a breeze and I was able to log a day prior to having the app which is really nice. I was able to add plenty of entries to check off without necessarily having them be “daily goals” that I would get needlessly nagged about. The quotes at the top so far seem nice, and I like that I can change the color scheme to suit my tastes. Seems to be plenty available in the free version to keep me on a good track which I really appreciate. I also like the humor. I went to delete a task and it had a warning that it would delete any previously used instances of it and added “are you sure you want to mercilessly delete this anyway?” which I just thought was really funny and it’s actually why I’m here writing a review so soon into having it. I’ll be back to update this if it suddenly breaks my heart, but so far I think this is just what I need. Thank you!.Version: 1.47.3

Only one complaint (updated no complaint)This app is super helpful for keeping track of literally everything and I love the new update however I would love to be able to see my entire year in the same format as monthly mood. I bought the premium version so I can see my year in pixels but it can get a little confusing so it would be helpful to see my year in a line graph. Thank you for the great app! (update): The people who keep this app running are amazing! They really do listen to your reviews. I left this review and a couple of months later they had a new update and my complaint was one of the things they added in. Not sure if it was my doing or if they already had it planned, but this app is literally almost perfect now. I suffer with a mood disorder so sometimes I can feel great that day but still be angry throughout the day so it can be a bit confusing when I try to add moods that don’t exist in the “norm” like I can have a great feeling day but still be irritable so I’m not sure which mood to click so if I click both throughout the day it’ll just read as an even day when that isn’t the case because the mood is a high day but I went through highs and lows throughout the day. Maybe that’s just a flaw in my system and not the apps, but I’ve never use an app this long, i’m almost at a 365 day streak!! Anyways thanks for such an amazing app!.Version: 1.29.3

SuggestionI have been using this app for about 3 months now and i love it as i use it to track my mental health and it’s really easy to use, especially with being able to create lots of moods and activities. i think it would be great to be able to have descriptions under each mood that you select, that explains it in more detail for each mood.Version: 1.46.1

Incredibly insightfulI have been using Daylio for a couple of challenging years now. I have undergone massive upheaval, chaos, anxiety and devastating loss, and often I’ve considered that I was doing a lousy job of managing myself… However, I am able to rummage through my meticulously kept Daylio records and see that I have been constantly pragmatic and surprisingly productive. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I am proud of myself. My life is undoubtedly a mess, but my ability to manage that mess is something I have only really been able to recognise because of this app. The moods and activities are infinitely customisable, and the reports are incredibly insightful. I especially enjoy seeing patterns emerge, and being able to smile at the absurdity of an emotion like “distress” frequently correlating with the concept of “self care” and production of “nourishing soup”. I had no idea how reassuringly, predictably proactive I actually was, until I saw it all clearly chronicled in front of me. I was even able to achieve specific goals based on the “shame” I felt for including certain icons in my activities - ie. drinking, smoking… and the satisfaction I felt on the days I didn’t have to include them..Version: 1.38.1

Life ChangingWho knew an app could completely change your life? Well this one truly has for me. It’s completely customisable to set up and use to track exactly what it you need. I’ve been using the full version for a year now, definitely has been a worthwhile investment into my overall health and well-being, without costing an arm and a leg. Just read through my end of year report which has been eye opening to say the least. The insights you can gain from this about your whole health is so useful to help you make progress. I really have tried nearly every app out there, but none even come close to this! Thanks Daylio!.Version: 1.47.1

Sooo nice!Daylio is a great way to track your mood, emotions and more. I just started using it and found that it really helps!.Version: 1.57.0

Mindful work under yourselfThis is the app I was looking for. How could you be sure that I doing something right to become more happy than year ago? You need to track your mood board and understand correlations with some specific activities in your life. Easy to adjust and fine tune for your needs. Totally worth w.Version: 1.56.2

I owe everything to this appI’m 18 years old and this app is amazing. When I was 14, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. This means I have super bad mood swings. At 17, I was diagnosed with Depression and anxiety disorder too. This app has really helped me. I can record my moods and things that happen in a day. My therapist recommended this app to me and it’s great. I downloaded it when I was 14 and it’s so helpful. In my school journey, I was bullied very badly, beaten up and threatened by many people. I was seen as a nerd and a try hard and I got bullied for this. I never felt I couldn’t open up but my best friend Charlie gave me the confidence to tell someone. I recorded everything and went to show my teacher and he sorted everything and this is all because I had the evidence that I had recorded.Version: 1.47.2

This app really is greatThis app has helped me journal and keep track of my slow progress, I really appreciate whoever developed such a clean app.Version: 1.56.2

4 years of daily use and countingI really like this app and use it every day. It’s always been and continues to be reliable, personalisable and quick to use once it’s set up the way you want. Improvements are introduced frequently which are welcome and relevant. I feel listened to as the occasional suggestion I have made has been incorporated and the responses I have received to queries have been warm and enthusiastic. Using the app for a long time has revealed a few surprising correlations between my moods and various activities - this is the clever thing about the app. It has in a real way helped me better focus on what’s important and to refine my life goals over time..Version: 1.55.3

Beyond satisfiedWhenever I see my therapist, I always blank on what my week has been like or what moods I’ve been experiencing. While she suggested a different app, I came across this one and I couldn’t be happier for it. It’s simplicity is so comforting, and I know it’ll only take a few minutes for me to enter how I’m feeling. The fact that it shows monthly statistics as well as my most common mood and activities is so satisfying. It’s so nice to look at the app and see exactly how I’ve been feeling over the past month. I have already recommended this app to so many from loved ones to complete strangers. I also love the fact that I don’t have to comment on every entry, or that I have the ability to customize it to my exact moods and activities. The only things I wish it had more of was more color schemes, or a way to choose each specific color from a gradient. Also, I do wish there was more icons for the moods as well as the activities. But beyond satisfied with the current app (-: thank you, so so much..Version: 1.12.2

Thank you!Super love this app finally had the upgarde to add photos for journaling! Thank you..Version: 1.38.1

I love the appThis app all in all has been amazing, helped me a lot, then insists on bringing up memories I didn’t need to see..but still an amazing app..Version: 1.56.2

Started and love itI love how easy it was to get started. No annoying registering or using your email to sign up. I was able to start using the app right away. I’m excited to use the mood tracking feature that graphs your mood. I like how I can also add pictures. Way faster than journaling if you don’t have time..Version: 1.56.3

80$ for an app? This is a great app, I use it daily and I really love it. I would give it 5 stars, but 80$ for the lifetime premium?? I get that development is important, but this is just too much. Why no sales campaign for the lifetime premium?.Version: 1.57.0

Helpful strategiesReally good and helps keep track of your feelings day to day.Version: 1.58.3

Best app everBest app ever if your wanting to get a good look at your overall life. I started using it to see if I could get a better look at what things affect my energy levels and my health. The depth of choices and stats are comprehensive and insightful. I have filled in everyday for nearly 2yrs now! The daily reminder and tally inspire me to not miss a day- which I love. I can see myself continue for a long time yet 😊.Version: 1.42.1

One of my awesome and proud daily habit!I have been using Daylio for almost a year without missing any day of entry now and looking back i must admit using this app has become one of my most successful and meaningful habit! It’s so helpful to be able to reflect back to those old entries so see how far i’ve grown and changed. The statistics also help tremendously with seeing what sorta activities serve my mental health for the better or for worse. I would recommend this app to anyone as a personal habit to adopt for life and record what happen, how you feel and think each day. I do write in my physical journal as a separate exercise for a different purpose tho, but i am so grateful to have found this app and have just stuck to it this far along...Version: 1.13.2

Something’s MissingI love the Daylio app, I really do. However, one fundamental aspect is missing, which is multi device sync. I use different devices (i.e iPad and iPhone) for different tracking throughout the day, and having them not update each other is frustrating, as one backup will always override entries on the other. Please try to make device sync an option in the future, it would be so helpful..Version: 1.48.3

Converted from paperI’ve tried various paper diaries over the years but with mixed results in terms of consistency. I decided to go digital, with mixed feelings (mainly I’m a bit of a traditionalist who likes to write and have paper diaries!) but since starting this a few months ago I haven’t looked back, I absolutely love it! I love the way I can put pictures in every day and write about what was happening at the time. I also love the way I can set my own activities and it’s so easy to track them - great for habit forming!! I also love how easy it is to write whenever the mood takes me as my phone is usually nearby, so I just pick it up and off I write! It just ticks all the boxes and I’m so please I found this app!!!.Version: 1.56.0

Simple and perfectThis is the best mood tracker I have used. I couldn’t be bothered writing lengthy entries every day. This app uses emojis to record moods. With a few clicks I’ve added a list of daily activities and I can add extra notes if I wish. At the end of the week you have a clear record of how you are tracking. I can look at my app at the doctors and explain my situation clearly. Love this app and so far I am only using the free version..Version: 1.5.1

Great free version!I used Daylio free for the entirety of 2023. I’ll be using it again for 2024. Helps me track my moods based on activity/weather etc, as well as write a short diary entry. Very customizable and helpful!.Version: 1.56.2

A lifesaver to be honestI’ve been very on and off with this app but man does it help put both life and development into perspective. It has really helped me to manage my everyday blues while also gaining perspective when looking back! Ahaha, I’m even striving to get the achievements! I do personally really recommend this to anyone who is struggling mentally. It will really give you an outlet to just put your life in words and validate the ups and downs life can put you in without feeling any sort of judgement or even commentary from the outside world who lets be honest will never understand the things we go through. I do really love this app and again really recommend it to those who could use the simplicity of journaling..Version: 1.56.1

Completely AwesomeThis app is so cool and I love to write my feelings down. I never liked talking about my feelings with people so this is the perfect thing for me. And the way you can add new options makes me so happy..Version: 1.29.3

DaylioSuch a great app to look back on and remember great memories!!.Version: 1.47.1

Amazing best app everI have had this app for almost 3 years and I still use it daily. It gives me little prompts to add entries and it’s easy to use. I find adding entries gives me chance to stop and really think about how I am feeling and then entering it in helps me see the way my mood can change. For my mental health it just helps me take note of the feeling and adding it in let’s me see that it’s just a mood or feeling and it will pass. The good days and the bad days all get entered and at the end of the year it tally’s it all up! It’s my everyday dietary which helps with my mood and writing it down is so good for getting it out of your mind! It’s been a big part of my daily routine for almost 3 years now and I genuinely think it has really helped me with my anxiety! Alongside meditation this app is genius xx.Version: 1.38.1

This app is making me feel more relaxed❤️I downloaded this one night because I was feeling very tired and lonely and wanted to write down my feelings somewhere (I didn’t have a pencil and paper at the time) when I found out this was free I was so excited to use it! From then I just keep typing whatever I feel. Sometimes I would have 5 entrees a day. This app is helping me get through tough times, especially when I need help. I think it’s so sweet that they ask about how you’re feeling❤️ even the premium is cheap. And the people who don’t have premium can still access some decent things. I do recommend this app if you need to express yourself! Good luck and thank you to the creators and developers for making such a fantastic app..Version: 1.12.2

Triple_ChunksEasily the best way to keep a journal. I’ve used this app since September 2019, and it’s so nice to have a data-filled log of all of my life from that point onwards. And beyond that, it takes all of the information that you give it and places it into easily understandable, useful, and interesting diagrams. Beyond that, the Goals system is beyond useful. I used it to make sure that I added to at least one of my personal writing projects 3 times a week, and after a nearly nonexistent learning curve, I was able to keep to my goal 95% of the time over the past year. If you have any interest in keeping a journal, you simply won’t get nearly as much out of any of Daylio’s alternatives..Version: 1.30.0

A lot packed in an appOkay, I’ve been using this app for 2 weeks and it is far by the cutest “journal” app I’ve gotten. I put journal in quotes bc it is so much more than that. It’s a mood tracker and a very good one with the option to add more moods than just default. I’ve been looking for one for ages that isn’t expensive or requires too much creativity. Plus, having it on my phone where it can show me my progress in graphs and tables? It’s really visually friendly for those who like to see their progress and moods. It has achievements so I keep wanting to come back. It tracks my goals (you have to buy the subscription if you want more than 1 goal, sadly) and it keeps me on track. Plus, it’s a great and convenient place to vent when I have a bad work day or just want to talk into about something personal. Thankfully this app doesn’t kill my battery and it’s overall something fun to use everyday. It’s friendly to those who don’t want to pay the subscription either, but it’s honestly so inexpensive you might as well to get the extra colors and goals if you plan on using the app for a while..Version: 1.18.5

Complete game changerThis is my first ever review for an app- and I went to the App Store to review, not even when asked to leave one- if that helps anyone determine how genuine this is. I’ve had headaches and migraines that have gotten worse over the years- this app has literally everything you could possibly need to document headaches, moods, literally anything!! And notes, and it’s all searchable. It’s THE BEST. The default things give you a great start to getting set up- you will quickly get ideas on what to add that’s best for you. I am using it to track my moods, so I have things like “work”, “with friends”, “game night”, “girls night”, etc. I have “working” and “not working (but should be”- this has helped track my anxiety (when I procrastinate). For my headaches, I have moods for the different severities. I have all different food and drinks as activities, and Daylio shows activities most linked with moods- my doctor was shocked when I pulled it up because it did all the work of “maybe this food is a trigger” for us!! I really can’t gush enough. You can literally use this for moods, sleep, ailments, and weight and workout tracker- it can do it all..Version: 1.22.3

Amazing app, need a people featureGreat app, also not one of those apps that is unusable without paying which is amazing as you can still have a good experience if you can’t spend money on an app. I would really love a feature where you can add “people” that you spend time with each day and see who is often there on your best days, things like that. That would really make the app so much better..Version: 1.55.3

Great insight into yourself, simple, useful - Love it!I have always loved to journal and document both important and mundane days in my life. It’s easy to do with this app, even if you only have a few minutes to check in with yourself to see how you are feeling. All you do is click a few buttons to record what you’ve been doing and how you feel, the app records the time stamp and you’re done! Or if you have more time you can add text too - a little or a lot - I’ve written paragraphs at times. As someone diagnosed bipolar over 20 years ago, using this app is a great way to track moods (I too am in to the popular “mindfulness” trend, even before it became popular): it allows me to pause throughout the day, take a few minutes to sit quietly, notice how my body feels, see what kind of feelings my thoughts bring up in me, and then record that snapshot. Then, at any time I can look at the app’s simple reports that show a variety of trends in you activities and mood over a given period of time. I may think, “wow, I’ve been down and frustrated a lot lately” and then look over the report for the month and see that I actually had a lot of really positive times too. It helps me focus on the positive and work on training my brain not to go automatically to the negative. With practice, our brains CAN be rewired that way! I’ve done it successfully with a couple different things I wanted to change. Anyway, try the app. It’s great!.Version: 1.8.2

Best appLegir awesome.Version: 1.47.0

Such a good appIt’s a very good app and I like how we can make it customiseable to our own colours. And we can change the moods and etc, really good without having to pay it which is why I use this app. I do wish the lock feature was free but still this app has a lot to offer even when it’s free, you don’t need wifi to put down things and it has backups. I recommended. (But please if you can make the lock feature free).Version: 1.28.2

WonderfulAfter years of battling depression I found it hard to actually view my own emotional health realistically. This app gives me the chance to actually see how many good days I have, triggers for bad days, and generally gives me a much better overall view of my mental state and how it is actually fairly balanced. This in turn encourages me and helps me to stay on a healthier path in life. It also doubles as a journal/diary with the ability to add photos and notes, as well as having a goal planner with a daily reminder option. This app is useful free, but you won’t regret paying for the extra options if you choose to for the return you get in the flexibility for adding moods and activities..Version: 1.47.0

I find looking back over my notes very usefulAfter being, diagnosed with anxiety and depression, one of the mental health team recommended this app. This app has helped me in many ways. By looking over the notes I have made when I have been struggling and being able to take the time later to work on my thoughts and behaviours. By recording how various tasks have affected my mood and just by allowing me to see the progress I have been making. This app has worked for me and I would certainly recommend that if you find yourself in a similar situation, that you at least give it a try..Version: 1.38.1

Fantastic! But...This app is great but the only thing I don’t like is that you have to upgrade to premium if you want to have a PIN lock of your journal! I think it would be so much better if the PIN lock was not premium so that people like me who have siblings and parents going through their phones constantly can have a bit of privacy without having to pay for it🙂 Thanks.Version: 1.19.4

Best mood and activity trackerLove this app!.Version: 1.38.1

Daylio is a Must-lioLast year I spent a lot of time really trying to be more mindful. I didn’t know how I was going to do that so the first thing I began to do was keep a daily “bullet journal” and this was a way for me to hold myself accountable, review myself on completed tasks, and of course keep a journal to jot down major events, while exploring more creative side. However, it didn’t take but 3 months and I began: getting sick of carrying around supplies, growing tired of trying to figure out (one of the thousands of ways) my template for the day, week, month, etc. Then what really tripped me up was that unless I decided to go back with some fancy algorithms of my own, I wasn’t getting the info I really needed. What I needed was to see, in a quick glance, how my weeks have gone compared to others, find out which activities seemed to have more of a effect on some weeks then others, what activities were helping or hindering my growth. Then comes Daylio and I stuck it out the whole year before giving this review and can I just say I’ll be purchasing the subscription again this year and again! Especially if they keep making improvements and coming up with even more algorithms then I could fathom! Thank you so much Daylio!.Version: 1.30.0

It’s greatVery user friendly. The widget is a great reminder to log feelings daily. The prompts for journal entry are helpful and the app helps you stay accountable to your goals without being annoying with reminders. I love it..Version: 1.56.3

A Necessity!!!I always hated journaling because it took too much effort, so I started writing down 3 good things that happened each day on sticky notes just to help me ease into it. I eventually starts losing the notes so I decided to get this app because I saw it on my friends phone. And WOW, I went from just jotting down a few things that happened each day to writing down paragraphs of everything that happened during the day and exactly how I felt. Because I’ve had the app for almost 3 years now and I’ve never missed a day, I practically have a record of my entire college life and I know in the future I’ll have these entries saved so I’ll be able to go back and remember so many significant dates and memories. This app is SO easy to use and keeps everything so organized and is the only app where I didn’t hesitate to buy the premium version!! I don’t think I can express enough how amazing this app has been for me and I HIGHLY recommend this app to anyone and everyone who just want to be able to keep tabs on their own thoughts, feelings, and life in general!!.Version: 1.32.1

SuggestionsI love the app! I use to not use it as often, even after purchasing the lifetime version, but recently I’ve found myself going back to is quite often. I think it would be so lovely if you added two new features: daily challenges, and questions. Challenges can be little things to get you to do new things, such as eating your favorite meal, going for a walk, disconnect from social media, etc. And for the questions, it can things that allow you to reflect, such as possibly listing things to be grateful for, something you remember doing that made/makes you smile, something you’d tell your younger self, etc. I think this would be so lovely considering you’re constantly being challenged and you would have “no control” over the challenge or question that’s being presented to you. And I think it can add a lot for building a better life and truly getting to know yourself on a deeper level. Maybe each day can have a little theme of some sort regarding the questions and/or challenges. I think a lot of people would adore and be grateful at this idea! Also, can we please get an account feature so that we can have access to all of our entries without having to back it up? Having it auto save in the account would be such a relief if anything happens….Version: 1.58.3

Best app ever!I have been using Daylio for around a week and I absolutely love it. It really helps me to know what I’ve been feeling like and if I need to change my lifestyle. For example, Daylio has a range of activities that you can pick from each day (like what you did that day). As I completed my entries throughout the week I noticed I was lacking sports activities. This app is amazing because it shows what activities you’ve done a lot and the ones that you haven’t done a lot of. Knowing that I’m not doing much sport, I will definitely participate more in physical exercise. Not only that! Daylio lets you add activities and shows you a chart of how you’ve been feeling throughout the weeks (including a weekly report). Daylio has so much more than just a normal mood tracking app. I absolutely would recommend!.Version: 1.13.2

Love this appEven without premium daylio is absolutely fantastic for keeping track of things :).Version: 1.38.1

I Love It!This app is so helpful for tracking your mood and when you don’t want to write in an actual journal, I’ve looked at other apps like this and so far this is the best! Though I would like to ask if you could let us make a passcode for free without premium, it kind of worries me that someone els can just hop on and look at my private information Other than that this app is great and I totally recommend it Kind Regards, Sebastian.Version: 1.47.1

AmazingThis is a fun and great app. I especially love it for the quick and easy use of it. Especially on days we’re I don’t want to do a full dairy entry, this app can get the main points of your day and you can add your own things you daily do. For an example there’s an icon for school but you can add another for “sleeping late” using these icons you can get the main point of what you did in the day without having to do an entire dairy entry. I have a different app for those days when I am feeling like an entire 4 paragraph entry but this one for me is to track my mental being’s and how my emotions have changed or stayed the same over a period of time. And if you don’t want to get a different app for dairy/journal entries there’s still an option to do your entries I just choose not too. Anyways. Sorry for the long paragraphs hope this helped and I really recommend getting it okay have a good day or rest of your day bai😊.Version: 1.58.3

Fun and helpfulI love this app. I had used it years ago and kinda forgot about it, but got back into it about three months ago. I paid for the annual subscription bc I knew that would make me more likely to use it. I use it for its intended purpose—tracking my mood (and my overall mental state), but it also functions as a kind of journal. Sometimes I write things, sometimes I don’t, but since I can add photos or even just look at the activities I did on different days, it helps me remember what I’ve been up to. It’s also a great way to take time to be mindful each day. You have to really sit down and reflect when you do this, not that it takes very long, but it’s helpful to have something that forces you to review the day—how you felt, what you did, etc. I track what or how I ate on here too. I track if I drank enough water, if I had a phone call with a friend. I really like being able to add my own activities. It’s so personalized. Highly recommend this app for an easy and fun way to gain insight into your moods and more..Version: 1.56.1

BackupLove this app !! been using this religiously. it has everything i want to record but still remains relatively simple that i am able to do it everyday. however i’m running out of icloud space and just wished there were other options for backup other than icloud for the ios app (like google drive or something).Version: 1.29.3

Daylio Journal Review. It’s really helpful, it’s helped me to find what makes me happy, so I can keep doing it. And it helped me to get somewhat some confidence. I am thankful for this app, it has helped me through my toughest moments..Version: 1.17.1

Great App for goals, routine, recovery, mood patternsThis app has been incredibly helpful for me. I function much better with routine, but don’t always have the discipline on my own to stick with it. This helps me to make sure I do the things that contribute to making my life good. I first started using it when I was working through very difficult circumstances, and having a lot of dark emotional days. By being intentional about doing positive things each day, it made it easier for me to get through of the difficult circumstances. Because when I was in them, I didn’t feel like doing anything positive or productive. But that made me feel even worse. This app helped me break out of that & get back on track. Also, one thing that’s very important to me is journaling every day. I do a five year journal (written) which is amazing. It’s it helps me to look back over the years and see my growth and change. However, when I get busy throughout the day, or if I’m traveling, sometimes I don’t have the time to sit down and write in my journal. This app is so helpful! I can just use voice to text in this app and make notes throughout the day. It only takes a second. Then I can catch up in my written journal later. Love it!.Version: 1.38.1

Love love love itI really do love this app. It is simple and quick, but you can take the time to add more detail if you want to. I am currently trying to cut out/reduce bad habits and replace them with good ones, and it’s so easy to track the habits and the affects they have. The different ways you can slice the information is great. And it’s beautifully designed too!.Version: 1.12.2

My First ReviewThis is my first review ever for an app, and it’s for a good reason. I’ve used Daylio for over two years now and it hasn’t failed to impress. Not only does it still maintain its basic function for logging daily mood entries, but it gives so much more. Constant support and improvements updated into the app from the devs are exactly why I’ve stuck around for so long, not to mention the great bonuses you get for buying premium. I know apps that would charge you money for every single new feature/improvement in their app, or maybe even just charge you a subscription service that just stacks up on your money. Daylio offers a one time purchase and you get everything. I love it. Thank you..Version: 1.30.0

Great appA simple to use app to keep track of your moods and your daily routine, basically a diary/journal to reflect on at the end of the year. It's easy to input and edit entries and if you missed a day, you can make an entry for yesterday. Very customisable and has a friendly user interface, it even has a reminder option to keep yourself onto of it. My only problem is that there isn't enough spaces for more moods, and there isn't enough colours either. There is currently 5 that you can customise freely from the color to the name and expression, but it would be nice to have more colours and options, so I could have Red for anger, Pink for love, Yellow for happy and so on..Version: 1.8.2

Changed me so muchI hate diaries. I can never keep a diary for longer than a week and due to my constant on and off personality and my current mental issues I can never find the energy or effort to keep a diary. Daylio isn’t necessarily a diary though—it did so much more for me than any diary could. Daylio is simple; you go on and submit an entry every day of your mood, press these icons that have activities and things you would usually do within your day (there are default ones and you can customize it for yourself and add more), a goal you can set for yourself (ex. drink water once a day) and a note area where you can talk about your day if you want. It’s so simple but I love that I can just quickly go on and submit an entry every day without feeling like it’s a pain. Another thing is that it keeps track of your moods in the past and a chart that shows how your mood changes every day. If you really want to keep yourself in check and just keep track of your life I really recommend Daylio. It’s helped me so much and made me realize how I’ve changed from the past plus what happened when. There’s no annoying ads and everything is completely free other than a few other things that aren’t even needed :).Version: 1.34.2

Mind controlThis app has helped my mind remain stable during the hardest year of my life on record. Pouring out my thoughts and feelings has created a path for me forward to a place where I have been able to smile again..Version: 1.56.2

Depressed ADHD Me can keep up with it 💜💚As someone with ADHD, a mood disorder, and severe anxiety, I’m on A LOT of pills and a lot of factors affect my mood. I’ve tried a lot of different ways to track my ups and downs for my own benefit and to help my shrink see if a medication is working - all of them were either difficult to keep up with, or they caused me to focus on negatives. That isn’t the case with Daylio. I’ve had bad days where I didn’t feel that great or productive, but after I opened the app to add my daily entry and quickly marked down all that I had actually done with my day, it helped me to feel better. It’s easy to add in all the little things that help me feel like a real human person when I do them, and that’s pretty neat. The only two things I would add is seeing how often two events or habits coincided (like I “felt productive” on days when I “cooked at home”, etc.) and to be able to put your events into groups like social, leisure, weather, school, and so on. I have grouped them, but it would be nice to even just be able to make a new row or a space in between different rows. In the end though, these are two little things that don’t really affect the functionality of the app, and I still highly recommend it..Version: 1.8.2

Best journal app ever!!I use this app every single day to track what I’ve done + how my mood has changed throughout the day (+ week, months, years) as I have adhd and it can be really hard for me to remember what I’ve done/how I’ve felt otherwise. I like the reminder and goal-setting functions and that there’s also a space to write things + add a photo in your entry as you can decide whether or not to just select the mood and the activities or to write something as well. Everything is so customisable down to being able to create new moods and activities and also being able to change the colour palate, which I love. I currently have a streak of 869 days on this app and I haven’t missed a day since I started, which is unusual for me as I would usually keep it up for a week and then stop but I just love this app so much that I’ve been able to keep up the habit!!.Version: 1.30.1

My go-to everyday but...I’ve been using this app every day for over a year and I love it, the subscription was a no brainer and the customisation is so nice. I really could go on to talk about how much I love all the features and the updates and everything about the app but recently, following the most recent update, my app has been having issues with the journaling and typing area: it often locks the screen on the activities you can pick from, with the area to type not scrolling down as you write. It seemed like a minor bug I assumed would be soon patched out but now all the mood emojis have changed too somehow, all being the same top default emoji rather than the variety I had set them as. I can’t recommend this app enough, it goes hand in hand with any sort of therapy and is just a quick and easy way to journal what you’re been up to throughout your day and the impact it has on your mood (you’ll learn a lot about yourself from the graphs and data presentation the app provides) I just hope these issues and bugs can be fixed soon..Version: 1.27.2

Very awesome mood tracker!I love this app. So much so I even invested in the subscription which is really affordable. I needed something where I could track my moods and why I was feeling the way I was. This not only tracks your mood but you can write down what happened that day, post photos to the entry, and make categories that specifically indicate what influenced your day. It is super helpful to help me keep track of things that are good for me and things that aren’t. This app also send you gentle reminders, but not overwhelming too many, to make sure you don’t forget to write in. Also, I can’t tell you how many times I will reference this app when I need to know what I did on a certain day. It has been a big help and I would 100% recommend! Out of the many, MANY mood and diary apps I have tried, this is the simplest and most fulfilling app that gets the most out of a little effort. And what’s better! Unlike most apps that make you pay just to use basic features, you don’t have to buy the full version to get it the way you want! But you will definitely want to once you realize this isn’t just a “once in awhile” app. TLDR: such a great app, much better than other journaling mood tracking apps, 10/10 would recommend!.Version: 1.39.1

Best mood tracking app I’ve ever usedHonestly, the best app I’ve used in terms of mood tracking, with the most amazing customisation in the full, but cheap full version. The monthly reports allow you to view and succinctly organise the coming weeks/months. I would highly recommend this to continual mood tracker users as well as beginners. In this app there is so much room for growth as an individual!.Version: 1.38.1

Life-changing.I haven’t written an app review in years and definitely haven’t written one this lengthy, but Daylio deserves it. I’ve been using Daylio since 2019 (typing that out has me gobsmacked at how long it’s been). This app has been with me through breakups, makeups, job changes, new phones and having to redownload everything, and most importantly… it’s been with me through the happiest times of my life. I haven’t tracked every single day, but I’ve been pretty consistent; it’s amazing to go back and see where I was on certain days a year ago, or two years ago compared to where I am now. I use this app at every therapy session to see how I was feeling between sessions (because I definitely would forget if I had to recall it on my own) and it’s shown me how easy it is to lose sight of certain patterns in our mental health that may be going unnoticed. I am a Premium user and will always be because of how instrumental this little app has been in my mental health journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you..Version: 1.49.2

Time testedI love this app and have been using now everyday for Three years! (Note: I do miss days every once in awhile, but I just go back and fill them in.) I really like taking the few moments each day to reflect on what happened in my day, especially noticing how often I’m able to do more of what I want to be doing and less of what I don’t. The mood option gives context to that and I always make at least a few notes or comments each day. I keep making minor modifications to the activities, which is easy to do with no real limitations. I always take a look at my Fitbit stats before I go to Daylio to see how I did on steps, sleep, cardio, etc. I added those activities in Daylio and the combo of the two apps works great for me. (Note: they don’t sync, I just look at both and log my activities, e.g. “10k steps”, into Daylio.) It’s interesting to look back at the stats in Daylio for the month or the year and sort by specific activities if I want. Just want to give five stars to an app that has served me well on the third anniversary of my using it!.Version: 1.47.0

Great app!Gave me a great outlet to vent, even though I’m the only one listening. I love he layout and the versatility :).Version: 1.38.1

Well designedJust what I was looking for. The focus is on the main workflow of logging your mood. Best part is that you don’t have to write anything! But you can make notes if you want to. Love having icons to describe how I’m feeling and what I did. Customisation of them means you can make it work for you. Good base set available. Reminders are a must for me or I won’t do it. Feels like whoever designed this app knows their audience well. Thanks! Keep up the good work 👍🏻.Version: 1.2.3

Amazing!Perfect app for tracking your mood, productivity and goals! I love this app because it’s not time consuming, it’s easy to use and it’s fun….it works much better for me then journaling does with similar results ❤️.Version: 1.38.1

I love thisThis app is amazing it’s simple easy to use and to understand and it only takes about 5 minutes to fill in your daily mood tracker good app the faces are cute 10/10.Version: 1.56.2

Amazing app but a few things I would recommend.Ok so I got this app because someone else told me about it and said it was awesome. So I started using it and I fell in love with it but there is an option to go premium witch has you pay. So for a while I didn’t do the premium because I didn’t want to have to pay for another thing so I just used it without. After a while I was annoyed because I wanted to use the things that required premium. It is very hard to find a journaling app that is free and good so when I saw you had an option to pay for a membership or premium I was really dissatisfied. I think that you should get this app but just know if you don’t get premium you might be missing out on a lot of things. To the makers of this app I think you should take off premium and just let people use all the things that is on the app. It would be a lot better and I would speak a lot more time scrolling through charts and making categories. Anyways I do recommend this app but just know you might end up paying for it because it is way to good not to..Version: 1.30.1

WowI just put in my first entry, and this app feels amazing!.Version: 1.58.3

I really like the app butEverything works perfect. I’ve been using it more than 4 years and I absolutely love it. I already wrote this couple years ago to support team and never got response. It would be soo nice if you guys will add some sort off voice recording into the app. If users would be able not only write down about stuff but would be able leave some recording. I think this would be really cool and for someone helpful feature. Thank you for your work).Version: 1.56.3

GoodYou don’t need to get premium.Version: 1.58.3

Also my Gratitude JournalI’ve only been using for a week and usually wait a lot longer before writing a review. But I’m so excited to be using Daylio I had to write something now. It’s so simple and records so much. I was looking for a gratitude journal and fell across this which in my opinion is perfect. You select your mood and then the activity records what I’ve done and am grateful for. I then clarify things in the notes section. So for me I’m recording four great things at once. 1 My mood. 2 Activity. 3 What I’m grateful for. 4 My diary to record my day. And I get stats too so know how well I’m doing and if I’m on track. I’ve upgraded which is a steal. I’ve paid way more than this for other apps. You guys (and gals) are selling yourself short. Sorry everyone but if you are getting as much out of this as I am, you will agree. Thank you sooooo much for a fantastic app and keep up the fantastic work..Version: 1.10.3

Amazing app!!I’ve been using this app for well over a year now, it’s so good! I love how easy it is to use. It’s also good being able to look back over the months and see if my mood is improving or not and what activities are linked to what moods. The only think I wish this app had is a part where you can look back on entries from the same date but in earlier years. Just to see how the day compares to that same day a year ago and a year before that. But overall the app is amazing and very helpful..Version: 1.33.0

Best Journalling App EverI was recommended this app by a friend in late 2020. now i have a 440 day streak and am proud of it. this app is great- no annoying ads, lots of space for writing, mood analysis, achievements, and on the free version there is still a lot able to be done. even considering buying a membership someday. i’ve downloaded many apps for journalling and this one is the one that i’ve always ended up sticking to. it has so much of my life on here and it’s all backed up to iCloud. practically never plan on finishing my streak..Version: 1.40.0

Very effective!I tried journaling my mood for therapy for quite some time but would always forget to do it. Setting daily reminder times and how easy it is to make your own moods and activity list make its it exactly what I was looking for. I got the paid version almost immediately..Version: 1.56.3

SwagtasticFreakin’ awesome app. I love the data analysis; the comparison features help me figure out what’s actually helping and harming me in both the long and short term. It’s entirely usable without paying for the pro/premium subscription (which is also totally affordable for the insane number and quality of options). It’s not for everyone, but it really works for me. :) I’ve been using this app for years now, switching from base app to paid subscription depending on my financial circumstances and have been satisfied with both versions. For any other folks who are curious abt Pro but can’t remember to cancel their subscriptions in time (or struggle with using an app enough after paying for a subscription💔) I recommend getting the monthly one and doing what you can to not pressurize urself into using it in an inorganic way. You don’t have to use it every day, and you don’t have to keep a streak. Whatever your life is like—whatever changes or stagnation you’re going through—Daylio might be the companion app for you:D.Version: 1.56.0

Great appEasy to use, helpful.Version: 1.38.1

If you could only keep one app!!This app is hands down my favourite. It’s been instrumental in my personal growth journey. I’ve really struggled with my mental health over the past couple of years and this is such a great tool. Initially I found it after a relationship breakdown and I hoped it would help me focus in the weeks that followed. It certainly did that! Today marks my 608th entry! I love photography and it’s so good for my well-being. I choose 1 photo every day that I want to reflect on. I rarely leave reviews of apps but this is such a brilliant companion. Download it today~ you won’t regret it! 😊.Version: 1.45.3

Premium pin privacy ( alliteration!!)I started looking in the App Store for some good mods trackers I found one that I was thought was totally cute but costs money. I came across this one and I finally tried it out. I’m quite new to this but one of the reasons I downloaded it was because it had a pin for privacy I thought this was a great idea until I found out it was premium. I guess it good that it was premium but I kinda wish it wasn’t so I could use it. If it’s okay it would be great if the pin was free! But overall good app and I’m excited to continue using it hopefully with the pin!.Version: 1.35.0

In love with it ❤️I started using Daylio when I was 11 from then till no I have had such a rough life and it’s help me get through a lot I love it so much and definitely recommend it to anyone who is going through lots of stress or in general u just need to write out ur day it helps u track ur hobby’s ur sleep it has a mood tracker and tracks ur well being it s so good and the best part is it’s a journal so u can write in it. In my opinion I like digital journals better than writing in real life anyway plz download this 💞.Version: 1.30.1

Amazing! 🤩This app is amazing it asks what you need to focus on then it asks you about your day, I love it!!!.Version: 1.56.3

Thank you for this appThis is my most used app; I actually look forward to putting in my days log in, and I haven’t been able to maintain a journal for years. Amongst all the other expensive and/or clunky bad-UI journal apps on the App Store, something about Daylio just works — the UI is simple and easy on the eyes, the icons are minimalistic but have personality, and it’s a really smooth experience. I love that it is a non-subscription model. However, I really wish there were some extras like some text formatting options for the note area for text hierarchy and better journaling, and a dark mode — I think some extras features like that will really make this app the very best of its kind on the App store..Version: 1.9.4

So glad I got thisThis is a fantastic app. I was looking for a way to chart my moods and mental health, but didn’t want to use an old school journal and pen. Daylio is really easy to use, you can customise it, and I find the graphics format is really easy for looking at trends and history. It’s useful at appointments where you want to discuss how things are going and you have a log of the past few weeks or months. Thanks to the developers for creating this..Version: 1.10.3

Thank youThe app is helping me a lot. I can now see what makes me upset and happy. 💕💕.Version: 1.0.7

For those who struggle to know what to writeI love how I can click a few buttons instead of having to figure out how to write something. Also the analytics are awesome - love that I can see trends and patterns.Version: 1.47.3

Amazing- but one problemHi! So I have had this installed for a while and I love all the features. I have not yet gotten premium, but it looks like a lovely option. My one problem is that the regular version isn’t passcode locked. I understand that you would like to make money from this game, but having privacy on personal statistics would normally be very necessary, without payment. Other than that one particular problem, this app is 100% worth it, with or without all the premium features..Version: 1.48.7

It’s actually really goodIt doesn’t look like much, but it actually really helped me get back in control of my life. One thing I would note if I was looking in to getting this app is that you do have to pay for premium to unlock features like multiple goals and the passcode. However if you’re looking for a way to track your mood each day, this is the way to go..Version: 1.18.5

Great app for following your moodI would highly recommend this app for anyone who wants a quick, easy way to record their moods daily.Version: 1.7.2

Already a gamechanger for me!I have Autism & ADHD as well as BPD & Bipolar II disorder, so needless to say I’ve been through hell and my mood swings and emotional disregulation have resulted in my day to day life being unmanageable! This app has helped me keep track of my mood swings, meltdowns, and intense disregulation episodes. I really like that you can customize almost everything, so I can keep track of not only my moods but my BPD, AuDHD, and ED triggers! And as someone who likes to remember everything and be in control, this app gives me a sense of security and dependability. Would love to see more features, like more emotes to choose from, more themes & such!.Version: 1.54.2

Daylio is a lifesaverI’ve never been one for journaling, even growing up. I didn’t keep a diary or a daily journal of my feelings. I grew up in the mountains of east Tennessee. We just didn’t do stuff like that you get mad at somebody just throw a rock at them or throw a rock in the creek and get it out of you, but what day Leo has done for me is take my anxiety that I have developed. Never used to have that either and funnel it into this journal which is non-judging it’s accountable and it helps me not take my anxiousness my aggressiveness my anger my I don’t know just the emotions it’s like that rabbit hole I keep falling down in when things go sideways and it’s kept me from falling into that rabbit hole as often and basically giving me an application, to dump those feelings into so that they don’t harm me nor anyone else. I think more people should use Daylio, less aggression in the world if more people dealt with their feelings like this then how they’re currently doing it. I don’t make a lot of money which is part of my frustration, but every penny, I spent for this year of Daylio was way way beyond worth it. Daylio helps keep me relatively sane. Love, love, love love love love love it and the emojis are just a bonus..Version: 1.56.2

Great appAwesome way to review the days and weeks, nearly at a 1 year streak 😀.Version: 1.56.0

Tracking my lifeI use this to help with goals and keep track of health issues I write down when I have migraines for instance Or when I didn’t spend money that day! Very helpful, a must have app.Version: 1.56.2

Amazing Diary KeeperI was recommended to use this app as I’ve started CBT therapy. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks I’ve brought the full version and this app is truly amazing from picking different moods to activities to setting goals for yourself. It’s really amazing to be able to look back and read what you written the day before. The only thing I would suggest would be pick different moods throughout the day as picking one mood for the entire day is tricky when your going through so many emotions through the day, it would be great if this was added to the app. Apart from that this is an amazing app and will continue to use it throughout the rest of my treatment and after aswell! Thanks Daylio!.Version: 1.16.2

Awesome appI love this app because you csn reflect on your day without having to write a full paragraph. Just a few clicks of a button on your mood, then a short desired note on your day. And a good tracker for exercise, mental health, food and life itself. However, I would love it if they could change the fact that you have to pay for premium for a password on this, I would like to express how I feel on this app, without the fear of someone else reading it. If you don’t mind this, then this app is a must have!.Version: 1.42.1

Definitely Worth It!About half a year ago I moved to a whole new country. My new friend started to notice I was usually negative and she always found me off in a dark corner crying. She thought, since I talked about her so much, that it was about me moving 5,000 miles away from the only person who truly understood me. (Regarding my friend now) She informed my father after it got worse and he got me a therapist. Up to this day, I still feel very uncomfortable opening up to anyone, let alone my therapist. One day, my friend was over at my house and she was on my iPad. She said maybe it would help me if I just jotted down some things that have happened each day and read through it a few days after, and that maybe it would help me see what’s been going on making me depressed. We were looking at journal/diary apps on my iPad. (Since all my journals and books are full of drawings and sketches) We found this app, read the reviews and description, and though it was pretty good. Well it’s not pretty good...it’s amazing!! This app has definitely helped me a lot with my depression and I use it every day! It is definitely worth the two taps you use to download it!.Version: 1.8.2

Absolutely a necessity in my lifeI have been using it daily since the beginning of 2019 and it has helped so much with my mental health, and even showing it to my healthcare providers so they can have a better idea of what’s happening with my moods. 10 stars if I could.Version: 1.56.2

FantasticI’ve been using this app on and off for a few years now, even getting some of my family and friends to try it, and I just love the difference I see it make in my life when I’m consistently logging every day. Being able to have a record of my life and memories, to visually see how my mood changes, why it changes, and how I might strive to be a healthier person, is absolutely wonderful. I often find myself looking back and reading through entries to relive particularly wonderful moments, which makes me so grateful to have a way to hold onto them :)) A big thank you to the developers!.Version: 1.30.0

I love thisBro it’s so customisable and I use it every day to track stuff, great analytics and stuff. Lost my 800 day streak by accident which pains me but rebuilding a new streak. 10/10 :3.Version: 1.47.3

I love this app— hands down best mood trackerI first started using Daylio over 5yrs ago at the recommendation of my psychologist after complaining that had to use multiple apps to monitor everything. Since then none of the many mood trackers I’ve tested have out done Daylio & I come crawling back. Deceptively simple, this small but mighty app is an elegant and intuitive multi tool for emotional tracking. While not having some of the bells and whistles of it competitors it wins out due to its modularity. Fantastically customisable you can create a system as detailed or succinct as you please and you only have to track the thing that matter to YOU. I used the free version for so long I decided to upgrade just to thank the developers (one off payment NOT a subscription model thank god). I’m so glad I did because since then the couple of features I felt were “missing” were added along with a number of function I hadn’t realised I needed but now couldn’t live without. Anyone wanting to track emotions, habits and health, particularly those with a mood disorder, should absolutely give this a download!.Version: 1.11.1

Amazing 🤩Use this every day, really good to look back on memories & how I was feeling. Also really good to see patterns of my mental health. There are lots of ads, but easy to close and only ads about Daylio, not annoying videos for other apps. Overall really amazing, not sure premium is worth it though. (Equally, I haven’t tried it yet). Keep up the great work developers! 👏👍.Version: 1.47.3

It good to rate your dayIt’s good to review your life It would be good to rate your activity for There contributions to you over all Good app to get going.Version: 1.18.5

:)Really good app! I use it everyday sooo good.Version: 1.38.1

My favourite appI love this app it helps me keep track of my life I’ve had it since 2021 and I track everyday and it holds the details of the best parts of my life.Version: 1.56.2

Great AppThis app is exactly what I was looking for, it has a nice simple interface which is super easy to use and I like how you can create your own personal icons to sum up your day quick and easy. It’s perfect if you want to keep track of your general mood throughout your week and you can make a general reference of what activities improve each day for you. It’s like having a visual diary to sum up how you’re feeling which I find really handy..Version: 1.8.2

Rlly good mood tracker! but some things shouldnt be behind a paywallIve been using this for a few weeks and its good for tracking my mood! The interface is easy to use for the most part. The one frustrating thing is how much is behind a paywall. Like the advanced stats and locking the app with a pin/face ID. Especially locking the app with a pin/face ID. This can have sensitive information and if someone catches a users phone unlocked they shouldn’t be able to run rampant in apps like this. The stats is annoying but the pin/face ID thing is especiallyyyy frustrating. Maybe as an alternative have the option to create a custom pin be behind the paywall? and make the phone pin/face ID free? also the line graph (the one visible to free users, idk what premium users can see) is very weird and doesn’t show the full range of moods. Like i can have a green mood next to a red mood and the line graph will show orange. Idk if this is intentional or not but its a bit annoying bcz i plan on showing my therapist my moods over time once ive been using the app for longer. Im very broke atm hence why im so frustrated 😭..Version: 1.52.2

So helpful I would 100% recommend!I’ve been using this app for a year now and honestly at first I downloaded it with 6 other apps and this is the only one I have continued using and haven’t deleted. The year in pixels has been the most useful feature for me because I have recently been diagnosed with anxiety and depression and I started before I knew something was up. The diary helped me realise that I wasn’t as happy as I should be and also helped me find patterns into what was making me worse. I must have spent hours venting and typing diary entries on this app, and I can say after one year, that even though my mood hasn’t improved I can track it and I’m starting to find ways to feel better. Not to mention this is all using the free features. As much as I would love to get premium, I personally can’t afford it but it looks incredible so I would 100% recommend this app for literally anyone!.Version: 1.38.1

Changed My Life!!! ❤️I have been using this app for at least a few years and it has been an invaluable tool with a major demonstrable effect on my overall health and wellbeing, especially as a person who is prone to chronic pain, disordered eating habits, and severe mood fluctuations due to complex chronic illnesses. Daylio has helped me pinpoint problems long before I would have ever consciously noticed- like the fact that a depression crept up on me- why? - Well, I can see here I ate sugar two days in a row and had bad sleep most days the last two weeks. I likely never would have noticed before. Daylio has been a game-changer for me when I go to the doctor too. Now I know exactly what to tell them and I know exactly what must be done. I can keep track of how well a medication is working as well as which one is giving me what kinds of side effects. If you use this app wisely and consistently, it can make a huge impact on your life. I have made major strides in all areas of my life the last 4 years, due in no small part to Daylio holding me accountable and letting me visualize my progress. And in the time since then, they have improved the app consistently. I am extremely grateful for this app. 🙏💜 (P.s. to developers! Lots of apps now are giving you the option to change the App Icon style. This would be SO COOL on daylio in particular because there are so many options for what it could be! 🤩).Version: 1.25.0

A TRUE LIFE-SAVER!!!This is such an amazing app! Anybody reading this right now PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEE get it and purchase the premium features!!! I promise you it will bring you the life you have been looking for! I got it 3 months ago and purchased the premium features… and I’m never looking back! This is the best stage of my life, thanks to Daylio. I couldn’t ask for anything more in my life! It has helped me organise my life, set goals, track my moods AND start living my life again! I have said life SO much in this review because that is what Daylio has brought to me. It has brought me a true gift, of living and loving life. If I could say the most lovely thing in the whole wide world to you, I would… hopefully that was it! Keep up the good work developers, because you are really influencing mine and others lives for the better!.Version: 1.18.5

More people need to know!More people need to know about this app! I’ve been using it for a year now and I have learned so much about myself and realized how happy I really am even when I feel like I’ve been having lots of bad days. It’s crazy how before the bad days greatly outweighed the good days in my mind. I thought, “oh I definitely had so many bad days this year…”. 3. THREE! I had 3 bad days this year! Now they still affected me greatly when they happened but to see that there was literally only three absolutely terrible days out of 360 days! It blows my mind and makes me feel so much better about myself. I can see that my mental health isn’t all of me, it doesn’t define me. I am living a normal life, I just have bad days a few times a year. Now to get back to reviewing the app: It’s also been super helpful in keeping me on track with completing any goals that I set for myself. I’ve held myself accountable for exercising, spending time with my husband, and drinking water. I’ve tracked my eating habits and the weather. I’ve mede it a habit to log my day at the end of every day and I’m so grateful that I do. I definitely recommend this app for everyone..Version: 1.47.1

The best journal appThis journal app is very easy to use and helpful for tracking goals and mental health. I’m going on my 4th year using it. No glitches or issues. Highly customizable. Tremendously useful..Version: 1.56.2

Useful app - one change I’d like to see thoughI use this app every day to track my medication use and mood. It’s so useful and I love checking back on my old data. Something I’d love to see is a greater range of colours for the moods. At the moment there are only 5 colours but it would be great to have different colour allocations for any additional moods added. At the moment I have 6 moods and on the graph I can’t tell two apart just by looking at the colours. This would really make this app perfect if this change could happen..Version: 1.29.5

Great app!Really well thought out and very customizable. Shows trends, progress over time, yearly summaries, helps you keep track of many habits and is very useful for encouraging self reflection especially if utilizing the varied features. I have the pro version and have been investing in it for several years now personally find it well worth it. Great tool to support your well being with the added bonus that the app is aesthetically pleasing to use; love the colours and simplicity..Version: 1.56.3

Best app I’ve downloadedI’ve never written a review on anything before, but this app has really helped me track my moods and anxiety. I only started using it about two years ago, but I have used it every single day since!! I have a lot of issues committing to things when it comes to diaries, journals, and logging things down but I don’t know what it is about this app. I’m now obsessed 😅.Version: 1.48.7

PDF export for iOSI absolutely love this app. The only thing that could make this better is if you make the PDF export available to iOS, as it is only available on Androids at the moment. Also the PDF format would be a huge help for those who want to share it to their doctors/consultants. Thank you and cant wait to see more of what you guys can come up with (updates)..Version: 1.8.2

Wonderful Mood TrackerI was looking for a mood tracking app where I could have multiple entries throughout the day, not just one at the end. I use this app to help track my anxiety and how I feel leading up to an anxious period as well as other moods. I love that I can go back and add entries even days later if I forgot. I also love that it’s completely customizable and I can have tons of options. I did end up upgrading to premium to unlock unlimited moods and activities because I find it really beneficial and absolutely worth the around $20 a year. I have an activities folder with ranges for my heart rate so so can track that during an anxiety attack, I have one with different physical symptoms like sweaty, dizzy, etc., and even a folder for methods and techniques I’ve already tried to calm down. I hate having to type out every little thing so being able to just go through and simply pick what applies at the moment is great. The small comment section is great as well if I want to add a small note about something that might be important but not frequent enough for its own button. This app is really fantastic for helping track moods and keeping a record of how I am feeling and when in an easy to use format that’s customizable to every person, even down to the color scheme. I started off simply looking for an app where I could have more than one daily entry but this app goes above and beyond..Version: 1.42.1

Glorified reminders app but is actually goodOriginally got this to track my mood/wellbeing but discovered having multiple goals with streaks etc that are all fully customisable is much more beneficial to you. First day and I have set up 21 goals and took the offer for £8.99 for 1 year. I know I can do the same with reminders and I have tried but I lost interest or don’t feel obligated too stick with my goals due and as stupid as it sounds, I feel like the steaks will actually annoy my OCD and basically force me to stick to my goals. Which is a good thing. Mood tracker is now secondary for me but still useful..Version: 1.43.0

Great app!I honestly love this app so much just for reflecting on my day and keeping track of how I’m feeling over a really wide range. Super easy to use and very personalizeable. On a 1052 day streak!!!.Version: 1.56.2

Daylio the best diary app ever❤️This is such a good app to have on your phone or tablet because you don’t have to write anything at all! You can just choose your mood and select from a range of activities which you did that day. You can add extra things you do during the week, with endless choices of symbols and emojis to put next to each one. Optionally, you can quickly note exciting experiences in the text box. This is a great app for anyone who likes to keep track of their life but hates writing anything down! This is the app I have been looking for and finally I have found it. I recommend this to anyone and everyone!💖😀😀.Version: 1.12.1

My ProblemI’ve been using this app for almost 20 months now and it’s been nice to document my life on. It’s become one of my favourite parts of mynight and morning routine. Before complaining, I would like to state that I am only using the free version, so this might be a feature with premium, but I don’t know. Recently I got a new phone and went to get the app on my phone, expecting to be able to log in so I can continue like usual, just on a new phone, but I can’t seem to find a way to login. Now I think about it, I can’t remember ever being asked to create an account in the first place. Either I’m just blind or this feature doesn’t exist. As I said before, I do love this app. I do still own my Ipad, which is the device I previously had the app on, so it should be fine. But since I take all of my photos on my phone, I would prefer to have this app on my phone and still be able to look back on the days I documented on my ipad as I prefer visuals over writing. I hope I can be replied to, but if not then it’s okay. -Thanks.Version: 1.47.1

I love this app!I’ve been using it for around a year and it’s tracked my mood perfectly..Version: 1.56.2

Awesome app! This app is incredible! I’ve used it every day since the start of 2021 and it’s made tracking my moods and summarising my days a blast. Although premium does offer a range of exclusive features, daylio free is a great place to start journaling your days, write on your phone. I love how you are able to add photos to your entries and have goals for you to be a better you. You can also backup to iCloud so you can never lose your entries. I have thoroughly enjoyed using daylio this year and I hope to use it for all of next year too :).Version: 1.38.1

Absolutely BrilliantReally good to look back on my day. It’s super quick and easy to use, just click a few buttons to save an account of your day. Helpful summaries to see your general overlook. Some features locked unless you pay for premium though..Version: 1.30.0

I honestly LOVE this app!I have had postpartum depression and anxiety. I found this app when I was looking for a journal-type app as my psychologist recommended that I work on being more organised and setting achievable goals. I never write reviews, but I’ve been using this every day, several times a day, and recommending it to everyone. I love it’s simplicity - charting my moods throughout each day, finding patterns, I love ticking off my daily goals, I love the customisation features (labelling each of my moods, changing colours, customising my goals). The app also encourages you to keep achieving your goals and gives you little reward badges. I have it set as a widget on my phone so that I can quickly see it and tap as my moods change. I actually look forward to using it. I’m going to search for any more apps from this developer 😅👍🏼).Version: 1.35.0

Simple, well made, effectiveThis is a really straightforward app with everything you need or might want and nothing more. It lets you track everything you want, you can tick activities off, build goal streaks, add diary style notes and even get some pretty nice insights with the stats. Moreover, there’s a premium subscription but it doesn’t get in your way if you don’t have it, there’s no obnoxious button to join everywhere you look like some other apps. There’s also plenty of features in the free version for it to be usable and the premium gives some nice to haves for anybody that really appreciates the app. Being a bit of a maths nerd, I do wish there were more stats (even in premium) though. They’ve taken it far beyond what I ever would have asked for but in doing so, they’ve opened my mind to ideas for further things that would be cool to see. I also wish there were more achievements as these seem a little limited, perhaps even custom achievements could be good. Overall this is a great app and I highly recommend it..Version: 1.40.0

Make sense of your life! This app is everything I’ve been looking for! I have depression so tracking my mood and thoughts on the day and logging in and feeling good about my little achievements throughout the day, can be quite rewarding. Feels like you’re getting your life together a bit. I paid the £7 for the lock and to add more detailed moods. The only thing I would change, to make it even better still, would be perhaps colour co-ordinating the daily icons; to better track the good and bad habits, rather than it just assuming you’ve been productive. That way you could see how consistent you were being with the good habits and make you feel more motivated. Or notice what could possibly trigger bad habits and work on stopping them. Maybe being able to add photos would be nice too, as like a private journal or something?.Version: 1.11.1

DaylioThis helps me to notice how I feel abt my day and take it into ecount Hope you read this bc you guys make my day w/ all your apps💖💖💖💖💖💖💖.Version: 1.51.1

GreatBeen using it for about three years :).Version: 1.56.3

GoodOnly wish is that there were more things available without the premium version.Version: 1.55.3

My favorite appI started using this app in 2019 (over 2 years ago at the time of writing this review) and it’s my all my favorite app and a must-have for anyone looking for a functional self-care app. Here are a few of the many things I love about Daylio: - New features are regularly being rolled out; the app is constantly evolving - Love the export feature (at times I have used this to show my mood chart with my therapist) - Love that it lets you decide what you want to track and customize moods, activities and groups - I’m able to drill into the nitty-gritty data and notice patterns over time Honestly I cannot sing Daylio enough praises. I have tried other similar apps out there but there is no comparison. As someone who values data and customizability, I’m here for the long haul..Version: 1.38.1

Best journaling app I have triedI have tried so many journaling apps over the year and even tried paper planners and journals. But, I use an electronic calendar for work/life, reminders on my phone, google tasks at work - I needed something that easy for my personal thoughts and feelings. If you like using stickers in your paper planner, you will enjoy picking and naming the activities in this app. It also encourages tracking by letting you just pick as simply as what mood you’re in. I chose this app to track medical issues/symptoms to report to my doctor and have found it to be so handy for that. I also love how you can look at your stats and earn badges (more badges, please!). Recently they rolled out goals and I’m liking that too. It’s also a one-time purchase vs. a subscription. Overall - a perfect combination of features! FEATURE REQUESTS - would like to be able to record activities for a future date. Also more icons please! Especially for the holidays, you’re missing a lot!.Version: 1.15.2

Great appBut don’t send a reminder for the day if I’ve already made an entry..Version: 1.12.2

One more feature needed!I love this app, I’ve been using it for a month now- I was looking for an app like this for so long and when I found this it has ticked all the boxes, I love all the different statistics. I completely recommend to everyone, and I am really tempted to buy premium, the only thing stopping me is one feature that I would really like to see on it. I would really like a mood graph for yearly moods, day by day- that is really the main thing I got the app for. Another really cool thing would be all time statistics- if they had these then I would totally buy premium! Great app, completely recommend; hopefully will see those features in the future and then I’ll be really excited to spend the money!.Version: 1.11.1

Tracking my mental health is so much easierI don’t usually write reviews for anything, but this app has been such a game changer for me in how I track my mental health and well being. I used to use a bullet journal to track my moods and see the fluctuations and patterns when I was deep in anxiety and depression. Keeping on top of it was sometimes difficult, and setting it up for the new year felt like a chore though it was one that I knew helped me, therefore essential. Now, however, I use this app. It’s so quick and easy to update how I feel. I’ve created goals in mental health and fitness and set myself challenges to work towards. I haven’t been using it that long, but it’s made tracking so much easier, and the calendar feature means at a glance I can see how my mood has changed and if I need to start implementing my well-being toolkit. There’s also prompts for journal entries if you want them, they help you focus on the good stuff when you need it or work through hints that worry you. If you can it’s well worth getting the yearly subscription..Version: 1.56.2

A real game changer!Okay. so i've been using this app pretty much religiously for nearly three years now, but i'm finally writing a review. i really appreciate this app tbh, the small price for the pro version is really worth it. my therapist also loves that i use it lol, she apparently brags on my behalf to her other clients (without telling them my identity of course) about my epic streak (im at 752 rn, only reason its not higher is bc i lost access to my phone for about a week at one point) to convince them to download their own mood app lol. not only does it help keep track of how certain events or changes in medication affect my mood and routines, but i have Awful ADHD and will literally just Forget how my week was when my therapist asks me lol, so being able to whip out my phone and look at my week is incredibly helpful. the report/summary features provide such an easy way to put one's past month or year in perspective. i can often feel like i'm making zero progress with my mental health, but these will remind me that things really are better than they used to be. it's a great source of motivation to keep moving forward. also the bit of customization available is nice lol.Version: 1.55.3

Love this appI started using this app a couple of years ago as I was into the bullet journal thing but is seemed like a lot of work. I use this app in the same way, to track habits and daily activities and it has been amazing. I pay for the yearly membership and I think it’s totally worth it. I love the way the app is laid out and how it tracks pretty much everything. The weekly, monthly and yearly stats are great to see, especially as someone who needs a visual. But really I love how it helps me reflect on my day. It takes max. 2 minutes to do daily and it has really changed my perspective on how I feel. I used to feel like I had a lot of bad days, but looking back through the months/years with this app really puts things in perspective as it provides actual data (that I entered) that says otherwise. Oddly uplifting. I recommend this to all my friends that are looking for a good and easy journaling app..Version: 1.56.2

TOP CLASS APPThis app is amazing it gives you a digital diary is how I would describe it, it is simple to use and rather than (I’m a teenager) just telling your parents every day how your day was you can show them the last week, month or even year. It is also amazing to have a look yourself at how you’ve been over a certain period of time and it proves the saying, There is no stability to mental health. How detailed this app is also tells me that the developers really do care about the issue of mental illness and as someone who seriously struggles with it I can say that means the world to me and many others who use this app If I was to suggest a change I would suggest a graph for your average weekly mood because we can already see out weekly report but actually have a graph for it as well but that’s only a suggestion but once again a fantastic app and I look forward to seeing how yous improve it.Version: 1.42.1

Awesome app, worth paying for!I have religiously used this app daily since I got it because I wanted to understand my mental health better and the different triggers/patterns on how I was feeling. I’m a scientist and I wanted more evidence to guide my mental health/wellbeing decisions rather than just how I felt about something at the time. I love all the extra reporting that you get when you pay - thank you!.Version: 1.38.1

Oh my GodI have used like 1 million different journalling apps and this is the only one that I’ve stuck with. I do truly really like it. It’s really easy to use and there is so much you can still do even without premium..Version: 1.56.2

Best app!I love this app so much! 💜.Version: 1.55.3

Long time user finally reviewing.I’ve been using daylio for a few years now and its the only journaling app that I’ve managed to stick with, the minor cost is no issue for me for something I use every single day to catalogue and save my special memories and catalogue how life is progressing. The customisation in the app is great, I love the ability to see your weekly/monthly/yearly review in so many forms from stats to graphs to photos and snips of your entries also the ability to export is awesome. I cant wait to see what comes next the updates are always keeping things fresh and interesting. Thanks app dev team !.Version: 1.47.1

Cute and fun!Super cute app, attractive UI, good for tracking mood, so it's interesting and also useful for depression/anxiety. my only problem is that the 5 mood options are q tad vague, but it's customisable so maybe that's just me!.Version: 1.6.1

Underrated even stillI know this app already has so many good reviews, but I still feel like it’s vastly underrated! There’s already so much you can do for free, which is hard to find. And it makes it sooooo easy to track! A lot of apps are like this where they are customizable trackers, but it takes so long to do so it doesn’t even make the app fun anymore. This app is meant to be customized at your own pace, and doesn’t need a full crazy set up just to get started. I love being able to log multiple times a day as well. I have a lot of anxiety and this makes is really easy to track the events, without having to relive them. Especially compared to a handwritten journal where it takes so much time to log every little thing, and having to relive the stress of the day isn’t fun. This app makes it so quick and easy. Being able to tap an emoji face and an icon labeled for a specific activity rather than write everything out is such a huge plus. I very much love this app and highly recommend it! Especially for people on the go..Version: 1.37.1

Great appAlthough there is a premium sub for this app, the free model is just as useful and allows for a lot of different features in your journaling such as mood tracking, tracking tasks and activities, spaces to write with or without prompts, add photos, and see some overall stats about what is being added to good days, mood stability charts, and even a form of a “Spotify wrapped” at the end of the year! Yes of course the app will ask you to buy the subscription and I bet it’s great, but as a student it’s super awesome to find an app that works just as good free!!.Version: 1.56.3

Still using it a year laterAfter using this app for over a year, I thought a review was in order. I love this thing! I opted for the full version about 2 weeks into use (an impulse buy at the time, but possibly the best one I’ve ever made). I have anxiety, depression, and ADHD and it’s nice to be able to track not only how I’m feeling but what I’m doing and be able to see how that effects my mood. For example I have a pool and noticed that my depression symptoms were less when I was swimming so about a month ago I was feeling depressed, so I pushed myself to start swimming and while it did not magically cure my symptoms, it did make feel like I still had my head above water in all and that is such a game changer when trying to avoid full-on depressive episodes. Being able to track it all and notice my moods through it all was insanely helpful and motivating. On the other hand, for when I would forget to post days, I made a mood for basically “too apathetic to care” which is telling in its own way within my depression when I look back over months of time. I even use it to gauge my happiness at work, to be honest. And use that info to try to make change within my work environment. Then there are the newer goals options. I’ve started using them to try to build self-care routines into my day and I won’t say I’m perfect at them now, but I am better than I was. I cannot sing enough praises about this app. 💗 I can not express.Version: 1.25.0

OpinionNot bad.Version: 1.55.3

Helpful!Very helpful! So glad I invested in it!.Version: 1.38.1

Lovely appCame here to say that I’ve been using Daylio regularly for about 4 years now. It’s a life changer. Love the fact that it has minimal ads, gets the job done, entries are so easy to make and they periodically remind you for backups too. Great app to use to track your life and moods, ability to add pics and customize a lot is there too. Also fun that you can export years as excels!.Version: 1.56.2
