✓ Great game, but...The graphics are great! The battles are intense and fun, win or lose. Some issues I have are torpedos hit when they miss. This seems to happen in the stern of the ship. There are not enough maps. Sonar doesn’t seem to do anything. There should be a long game in addition to the 6 minute game, perhaps a 12 minute. Larger battles too, 14 ships would be nice. It’s really hard, if not impossible for a person that doesn’t spend a lot money to get up to higher level ships. I do like the fact that know matter how much you spend, skill is what wins the endgame the. That said, Some battles are matches are really unbalanced. Ie, one team starts off with no destroyers, when that happens, and you have a decent destroyer player and no carrier on the other team, you pretty much get the first hit free and can sit back an pick off ships for the rest of the match. That’s a pretty sever handicap. If a player drops his connection, the computer should take over his ship, right now it’s just easy points. The biggest issue I have is the win/loss stats. The top 2 players on the losing team shouldn’t be credited with a loss. I think this will encourage people to be more aggressive in attacking..Bill4532-34Version: 1.9.0

✓ What hit boxes...I love love LOVE this game so much, but I have my problems with it like anyone else. The hit boxes are horrible (with torpedoes); by far the worst hit boxes I’ve seen in a video game (probably an exaggeration, but still some pretty bad hit boxes). Here’s an example; one of my first battles I just barely dodged two torpedoes coming my way by threading the needle right between the extremely small space and almost, ALMOST got hit (👌<-this much space man). I thought it would’ve been a great opportunity to earn myself some fame, but sadly I didn’t record it. Anyway. Here’s where the problems come in (compare to the threading the needle moment); recently I’ve been in intense torpedo battles and the enemy shoots torpedoes pretty well away and off target from my ship. They come near but don’t hit the ship, but guess what? The game registers I got hit anyway, and I take damage. I’ve noticed the problems showing up with two specific ships I’ve used: Wickes and S. Carolina. Also as a quick side note the battles are a bit too short. I really hope you devs look at this review and work on these problems because I know you (probably) work really hard on these games and fixes..SomeoneStoleLilThiccyVersion: 1.8.2

✓ A requestI have a request that's small but it will help a lot. Can we have a setting for the blueprint crate so that before you open a blueprint crate, you can select what tier you want, because when you are grinding a few lines and you get higher tier., it becomes harder to upgrade because you just don't have enough blueprint or you have a lot of the wrong tier of blueprint. ✓ Just a few problemsFantastic game. Just a few problems. The magnetic torpedoes though I know they’re being worked on is one. Another is this: recently I had a game where I had 66k damage in a Farragut. Just as the timer hit zero I saw all eight of my (fully upgraded) torpedoes hit a just-below half health Colorado. I think this might have killed it even. Anyway, the damage half-registered... at the after battle screen I still had 66k damage but I had a big caliber medal. When I immediately went to the battle records screen this wasn’t there anymore. My point is if the impact is shown please let it register, especially if this happens. ✓ AMAZINGLike I said, this game is amazing. I am continually playing the game all the time. I love the thrill of leveling up to the next tier. One thing I would change is the time it takes to do so. It took me so long to get tier VI, that I gave up for like 3 weeks and forgot about this. I came back a couple days ago and finally got the VI, but I would still change that to make the process faster. More things that I love about this game is the graphics. I was scrolling through the other warship games and this one undoubtedly had the best graphics. I also like the “Tech Tree” because it is very organized, and I can easily see how much the ships improved and to see the information of these ships and their abilities, for example, rapid reload. Also the different modes of battle, such as the battle AI or the battle real people, or the campaigns, which really interested me. Until I needed a cruiser for the next campaigns. ✓ Amazing gameThis game truly is amazing the amount of detail they put into the ships and the map is astonishing. The game feels like they put lots of love into it and is fun to play. Although this is a great game I believe the reason i didn’t give it five stars is because the match round is too fast. In the game i am still alive when i loose, the reason behind that is that the enemy team have more points then mine. Due to the timer being so short when i play with a battle ship I’m too slow to go from a to b to get more points therefore i loose quite often with more then half hp ruining my gameplay experience. I believe there should be a feature to have the game rounds last longer so that it makes it more fair on the slow ships. ✓ Details/realisticness.I love this game but the sinking is fast and make it so you can play as the squadrons bomb/torpedo/ fighter but you can ad little joystick on the side so you can control and to select a squadron you tap something on the bottom. and make the squadrons bigger and the torpedoe explosions are small and you can not play as a submarine other Wise I love this game keep going. 👍🏼 all I’m asking for is to make it a little more game realistic and if you ad submarines to the game you can put arrows on the side and make pigs/smart torpedos so you have to hit something on the ship to lock on by. ✓ This game is good. But heavily underwhelming.I’ll give it 4 stars because it’s a great game, awesome mechanics, plenty of naval assets to choose from ect. But it’s the little things that consistently make me turn the game off. I wish there was a mode where a torpedo boat doesn’t take 50 shots to kill. It feels more like an MMO RPG where you have to pay money to do more damage. Which ruins all level of immersion. I’m sat here in my dreadnought putting salvo after salvo into a frigate and he just floats on right by. It doesn’t take much common sense to know that an inch of steel can’t take a single round, let alone multiple salvos. Pretty much just wish there was a hardcore mode. One shot one kill mode or something of that nature. I’d probably spend more real money on the game, knowing that what I’m spending actually holds personal value, and I’m not just paying for extra damage. Also. Why do I have to pay for a camo, yet I only get it for a certain time? Whoever came up with that idea must have done it on the toilet lol🤣 Great game. ✓ Wonderful game but needs balancing.I truly love this game. It’s truly a wonder that they got it to run so smoothly on mobile. But I have an issue with balancing especially in Assault mode. Where each team has there own objectives and the other team tries to take it. This game mode just hasn’t been refined enough for mobile. And this isn’t just a low tier issue but also a high tier issue as well. In lower tiers when ships are still quick and speedy it’s very easy to have the game just end because three enemy cruisers bum rushed it. With the capture speed as high as it is already the game can easily be won in a matter of 2 minutes. Making low tier assault matches dull and uninteresting. But when you get to higher tiers you run into another issue. Not enough time to do anything. I’ve played a large number of games where there were two one on each side and we still were even on points. By the game was decided by a destroyer blowing up in the last twenty seconds. And it’s truly frustrating to have an enemy team all close to destroyed to see that a single destroyer death turned the tide. Overall tho great game and would recommend..DjsnxisnsjxVersion: 2.0.0

✓ Ranking & MVPsFirstly, great game. I’ve been playing for a while now and all of my ships (apart from my Nicholas) are tier 4. One thing I’m concerned about is ranking after you finish the battle. Most of the time people who’ve done low-ish damage but have a high number of ships destroyed are up top as MVP, even though some others have done higher damage. I see this very, very often. I’ve gotten an enemy ship to low health and then ANOTHER guy just comes in and spanks the enemy with torpedoes (or shells). Usually this guy gets MVP, and even though someone else does the work the MVP just takes all the credit. You could probably fix it if you changed the ranking based on damage. It’s not that important, I’m just kind of annoyed that not everyone plays fair. ✓ Torpedo and shell damage ratios!Been playing for a while now, and it seems to me that a battleship can fire a full broadside into a destroyer/cruiser with the majority of the shells hitting the target and do next to no damage, yet when a destroyer or cruiser release a salvo of torpedos it will take down half of a battleships life? Personally that’s wrong as battleships armour is thicker than that of the support vessels that challenge them, if this got sorted it would be greatly appreciated. Also the credits or research points you gain after each match is next to nothing, it takes too long to build up enough to research a ship of a higher tier. Granted they come with some abilities but the cost for the is a little too much and I’m sure there are many gamers out there that agree with this to? Overall it is a good game would love to see more Royal Navy ships involved as it only had a cruiser line, I’m sure they will arrive soon?.HMS DragonVersion: 1.11.0

✓ Great Game but...This game has always been excellent a few hiccups from wargaming every now and then but nothing like it's PC sibiling. Still there are so many ways this game can improve. Aside from maybe refreshing the UI one of my major issues other the game is how blueprints you need and how quickly you run out if you really grind to higher tiers quickily. One of my favourite features in WoWs that's I believe needs to be implemented in WoWsB is the armoury system where instead of complete RNG with blueprints crates we can consistentently grind for ship XP to level up the ship's parameters. Instead blueprints could act as a XP tickets to more quickily advance to the next level. The ammount of XP required to move to the next tier might have to be lowered if this was implemented but it would make this game much more streamlined and better. Aside from that this game really needs a system where players can easily send suggestions to the dev team and not so that suggestion are ignored (like in WoWs) but maybe someone takes some time to actually look at the suggestion and thinks about it for longer than 3 seconds..Mathew leeVersion: 4.0.0

✓ Epic game, needs polishingThis game really passes the time and is thoroughly enjoyable, the graphics in this game are brilliant and the gameplay itself is awesome. There are ships upon ships to be collected and they are pretty historically correct in their looks. The only 2 things I can complain about is torpedoes! When they are launched in my direction even if a manage to dodge them there is always one or two that will go off and cause you damage even though they were nowhere near close to hitting me, it is infuriating so please fix it. My second grudge is that the games are over far to quickly, even if you was to add a couple of minutes to each game this would likely be appreciated by most as for my liking it ends far to soon. P.S, also I would just like to add you really need to balance the cruisers as they are far to weak and are just as easy to kill as destroyers but are slower and launch way less torpedoes, This makes you everyone else’s first choice of target and your just unable to fight back as Battleships can take you out with 2-3 volleys n destroyers outrun you n bombard you with torpedoes! Overall it’s a great online game to play, my only issue is having 50 ships in my personal fleet the developers have not put enough commanders into the game to have one on every ship. ✓ Fun gameFun game, very heavy on the data required to install it though- you’d better have unlimited WiFi before you worry about getting it downloaded. Another thing, all of the battles involve some kind of base capture, be it capture the flag or control the neutral zones. I really wish there was a regular Team Death Match mode, and that in the Random Battles, you could actually pick which mode you want to play. The Campaign has an interesting and I feel unnecessary quirk in the third mission: you must have a Tier 4-5 Cruiser to play it. Okay, but those are expensive to get when you’re saving up for a Tier 5-6 in whatever other class you want to specialize in- like Battleships for me. Skill is a factor even when your opponent has spent through the nose to buy their ship, and the maps enable Destroyers to have a good chance against Battleships, so in terms of fairness, usually it’s well balanced. The community on the World chat can be toxic though so do watch for that. Furthermore name changes are WAAAY too expensive- choose your nickname very carefully! Lots of bots are used when there are few players and they deliberately swing the games in the same way as the awful matchmaking does. They can be universally useless or can perform multiple impossible turns to avoid torpedoes or gunnery. It would feel better if the bots used the same game mechanics as the players. The new league system also shows how bad the matchmaking can be. One team entirely built of top ranked players, the other of5, 6 and a 9. This ruins an otherwise good game knowing the odds are stacked against you in unfair fights. However, many (many!) hours of great gaming in a brilliant game. But warning to those who think “oh I can sail a ship and get my way up the ship tech tree in a short time” but unfortunately the tech tree is the games downfall. It has a great variety of ships but it takes so long to earn experience regardless of the amount of coins you have you cannot get your dream ship. ✓ Aircraft CarriersOverall, this is a very great game but there are some things with the Aircraft Carrier class which you could possibly improve on. 1. The controls, this may be due to the power of mobile devices but I really would like Aircraft Carriers to be more like the PC version. Pretty much like how you can control the plane squadrons directly instead of the birds-eye view that this version uses. 2. Autopilot, the PC version has the autopilot function which I really want in Blitz, I don’t think it would be too hard to implement it in the game, it would make carriers easier to play and enjoy. ✓ Perfect game - 2 things.I’ve been playing for about a week, maybe more now, and what I’ve seen is incredible to say it’s a mobile game. The physics, the graphics, and just everything tbh, but the communication system isn’t very useful, as we can’t say much. I’d prefer it if we were allowed to type our own things, and insults or profanity is blocked. This would improve tactical and the strategy side of the game, and last idea. Include the Royal Navy. I do feel disappointed, as initially I got this game to specifically play as one of the great iconic British Ships. They played a Major role, and were known for being so great in history, yet you don’t have them. This may be for some technical reasons that’s slowing your progress, or you dismissed the idea. ✓ No way to earn goldThis is a top of the line game. It actually feels like a true game rather than just a typical mobile game to kill time. While I do think the matches should be a minute or two longer, my only real gripe is that there’s no way to earn even the smallest amount of gold. Gold for premium ships and other stuff has to always be purchased with real money, which essentially makes this a pay-to-win game. The developers should take a look a the War Robots model. The premium stuff in that game costs gold, but you can earn small amounts with achievements of skill and by completing missions. Yes, you want people to pay for the premium content, but more people will just stop playing the game if they feel forced to pay for the best ships. It’s better to allow people to become invested in the game and allow them to earn gold, then at some point they will be more likely to buy gold to get the ship they want faster, rather than feeling like they had to pay just to compete. ✓ Great game but need some improvementI started playing World of warships on PC first back in 2016 and started playing the blitz version in 2019. Overall experience so far is okay and I think it’s very enjoyable as a mobile game. However, some of the game mechanics and other thing like graphics need improvements such as not getting ramming damage, overall graphics, ( ship models, terrains, effects, water quality, shadows) it’s 2021 for god sake, battle time is too short, and most importantly there are too many unauthentic warship camos and accessories (same problems on PC version too). You can earn all the premium ships and supplies through challenges. Your skill and technique allow you to beat higher rated players and ships when you customize your ship (game silver, not real money) to your style of play. You can even communicate to your unknown teammates what they need to do to be successful. Join someone’s fleet, earn oil, get tokens and cash them in for premium supplies. You’ll enjoy your victories more if you earn them and not just buy them. Wind in your sails! -Siren/Seawitch Only real problem, opponent matching frequently is very lopsided. One team will have players ranked 8-10 while the other team is full of 3-6 ranked players. I can tell before the battle begins whether I’ll have a chance at winning. ✓ Great game! 2 wrong class namesThis is a great game, possibly the best naval battle game on the App Store! I only have two issues with this game, and they aren’t that significant, though. Firstly, the class names for a few ships are wrong. For example, the Royal Navy light cruiser Edinburgh is displayed as an Edinburgh-Class ship, whereas it should be a Town-class. I’ve only spotted one other ship where this is happening and that’s the British light cruiser Fiji. It’s being displayed as a Fiji-class ship, but it should be a Crown Colony class light cruiser. The only other issue I have is that when I’m playing solo battles, sometimes an enemy ship goes behind an island and when I go to chase it it isn’t there. Yet, it is there because I can see shells and sometimes torpedoes originating from it, and yet I can’t see it. Because of this I can’t shoot back and end up getting destroyed or seriously damaged. The prices of getting a new ship of tier 6 7 8 9 are VERY EXPENSIVE. ✓ The best game I have ever encounteredFor a mobile game, this is honestly incredible. The graphics, modules and complexity of this game make it unique for one of its time. Not only that, but the founding company of this game cares about us significantly, going as far as distributing 14 days of premium to everybody during the Coronavirus outbreak of 2020. ✓ Battle time, bots, and torpedosThe game is great as a whole. But there are a few things that seem to bother most people. To start, the battle times are way too short. I’ve seen so many battles end decided on points rather than kills due to there not being enough time to kill every ship. Secondly, the bots. They seem to defy the laws of physics when they’re in a full speed turn and magically rotate in place which can be a pain to accurately hit. Also, if you think you’re safe from ships occupied by bots when their turrets are facing away from you, you are mistaken. When they fire the turrets seem to rotate at the speed of light and make a complete 180 in the blink of an eye. Even on battleships. Please fix this, if the bots aren’t sailing a straight line they’re very very difficult to kill. And lastly, the torpedoes. I feel torpedoes don’t do enough damage. But they also hit ships even after they’ve passed to the side of the ship and do damage. Leaves little room to dodge them due to if they’re within 50m of the ship, they do damage anyway. ✓ A few issuesI played this on PC for a while and have been eagerly awaiting the release of this for a long time. The graphics and controls, while obviously not as good as PC, are really good compared to similar mobile games. Matchmaking has gotten a lot better since early release, and I can’t wait for the rest of the lines of ships to be released. That being said, one problem with the game is that the matches are simply too short. Probably six or seven in ten games for me ends by the time running out and not by a team actually winning, so if one team is up by a lot of points but only has one destroyer left or something, chances are they will still win because the round will end. I have had this happen to me on both sides of the scenario and it makes it kind of unfair so I would really appreciate it if this issue was fixed. Another problem is torpedoes. The hit boxes for ships are so big that dodging a spread of torpedoes by going in between them like you can in PC is impossible. I have had torpedoes miss me by a quarter of a ship length and I still get hit and killed. That is probably the biggest issue I have with this game. The carriers are unrealistic because when the planes land they just appear (I would really like it if you had the carrier full air wing on the flight deck when the round starts) 2. when they land they fly into the ocean and I think you should change it so they actually land on the carrier properly 3. I would love it if you could use the full amount of the carrier’s air wing because you have Lexington which had like 80 planes in real life but only 10-15 planes in-game. ✓ AwesomeI love the game great way to kill some time and who doesn’t love launching a full broadside salvo. I’ve only got a couple of issues, 1st it’d be great to have a few more minutes in the battles sometimes they feel like they’re over to quickly, especially if you’re trying to hunt down the last ship or finish sinking one. Secondly the torpedoes from destroyers are far too easy to use. My suggestion would be instead of a narrow/wide spread perhaps possibly a short range arm or long range arm similar to switching from he to ap in other ships. Make them work for the kill. And lastly is the grind after hitting about tier seven ships. I was a premium player but I did some calculations and it would cost me a small fortune to reach the next level after tier 8. So I cancelled it. ✓ Very fun, slow progression.After getting very bored of World of Tanks Blitz after playing it for 4-5 years it’s nice to come to WoWB and it’s very refreshing. Music suits the game very well, and you can customise your port, for example get a tier 5 cruiser from the U.K and get London, which has fireworks, merry go rounds and helter skelters. It’s very visually stunning. On the other hand, currently there is only one line of cruisers on the U.K tech tree, which I am sure more will be added. Progression is A LOT slower than on world of tanks blitz, dealing the most damage on my team and gaining 100 xp, needing 7000 for the next ship. ❗️If progression war as quick as it is in WOTB I would be so happy, also in WOTB there are free crates that you can open every so often which give you usually Xp boosters which are very handy and I would like to see in the game. ✓ Good game but not far plays.This is the best game I have ever played on my phone. And I would highly recommend playing it but I do have some problems with it. So firstly if I play say a battleship and a destroyer sends torps towards me they curve into my ship. I find this a problem because when I play that destroyer I can’t curve my torps! And Secondly destroyers and Cruisers in higher tiers are so over powered ever game I play there’s always one sprayer somehow. Cruisers always set fires and destroyer do to they both also reload very quickly same with before I play them and they take for ever to reload so maybe try taking down the reload time. Ok so I grinded in the game and got my first aircraft carrier and whenever I start a solo match the other aircraft carrier and all the enemy ships can see immediately when my planes are launched does that make sense? On the pc version my planes have to be discovered by nearby enemy ships but on mobile the other carrier can see exactly where I am when I launch my planes. And so can I so instead we are just sending planes after each other and only each other until one of us dies and by then the match is over. I want planes to only be detected if they are discovered just like the pic version so me and every single carrier owner can actually help our team instead of being involved in a long range death match where the winner is only determined by who gets the first shot..Jeb2187Version: 2.1.0

Something, the latest update (as of now) and it still won’t open. I did get to play it on my phone (an iPhone 6S) and it’s a pretty decent game. The fact that planes can spot makes actually supporting your team impossible and makes you get in a 6-minute carrier battle from across the map, ultimately decided by who launches planes first (usually me). I also, as a Courbet owner and just going through Russia victory blitz, everyone got an okhotnik and I got my first taste of torpedoes being overpowered. The ship sent out 12 torpedoes and killed me instantly, though I think the torpedoes are balanced by having low health. Numerous times I've been in the middle of perfectly good battles sometimes 3v3 and I would love to be able to fight it out not have the tickets run out or just run out of time, possibly 15 minutes would be nice. There's another problem with that there isn't enough people playing but there's nothing you can really do for that. ✓ Amazing, just the carriers...While the game is one of the best I have ever played, there is one feature that is a bit of a problem: how underpowered carriers are. In fact, the only situation that they legitimately get kills is when the ship they are targeting is already heavily damaged, so carriers so far are basically just ships built to steal kills. And, of course, you so rarely get hits with torpedo bombers, making them useless at just about everything except scouting. Speaking of which, carriers being built as a support ship, they should probably have some sort of scout plane to tell you and all of your team where enemy ships are, and maybe they should have planes that heal allied ships, exclusively available for carriers that are level 5 and above. Detection of enemy ships is one, you’ll be fighting one ship only to have a destroyer pop up next to you and fire torpedoes at you at point blank range where there’s nothing you can do to evade them. ✓ Good Representation of Original, Diversity NeededAs someone who played the original version of the game on a Mac this mobile version is a good representation of the mechanics, graphics, and spirit of the original. I agree with other reviews that battle times need to be longer so as to inspire strategy, and allowing keyboard functions for pixelbook users would further open WoW on the Google Play Store. Though I think positively of WoW as a video game, Wargaming itself has also described it as an expansive “museum” of vessels, one that preserves history. In this way the game draws a lot on the history of the conflicts that shaped the early and mid-20th century. It’s what makes it unique. For this reason, I would strongly suggest including a greater racial/ethnic diversity of characters in the “Portraits” section. I am not a person of color, but I do know that many African-American and other POCs fought in the USN, the Royal Navy, and other naval forces for a freedom that they themselves were denied. Recognizing this sacrifice and the role of race in World War II would only make World of Warships Blitz a more historically representative and interesting piece. ✓ Ok kinda frustrating.Most frustrating probably is that the aiming is fake. You can tell because when you fire at a ship when you’re locked on another ship your shot goes near the locked ship not the one you’re pointed at. Then it’s like, why am I even playing when I can’t control even that? There’s the issue where the guy in smoke can see out of the smoke but you can’t see in, insanely frustrating. Also it’s crazy frustrating to be in sucky teams that you can’t communicate with. I think if a chat was added or at least usable commands it would be better. Also the devs are crazy greedy. $50 for a fake cloud ship is steep on the full version but on the phone it’s insane. I bet if they were like ten bucks people would buy them more. It’s a decent way to spend a little time and ships are cool so it’s def worth getting the app but some aspects kinda make you facepalm a little. And you gotta do something about Italian battle ships. It’s supposed to be Rock Paper Scissors where battle ships are weak against destroyers. When a battle ship is better than a cruiser against a destroyer the entire game falls apart. This never use to happen, only with the recent patches and updates, I guess as the game file size increases. ✓ Good but could be betterMuch like many others, I’ve been waiting for warships to be released in mobile for a while now and overall it does seem to be a very good and well made game but there is a few things that could be improved The levelling seems obnoxiously slow - getting through the different ships feels like an extremely long slog that simply gets unfunny after tier 3 or 4. Its probably done to push more people to buy premium or more gold for xo conversion but it is just ridiculous for a mobile game. There is still only two nations that have really been fleshed out fully - the US and Japan. Germany and Russia only has a single cruiser line (no battleships, destroyers or carriers). The UK and France and a premium ship each but very little else. This will almost certainly be changed over time but if you are someone like myself that is far more interested in the battle of the Atlantic rather than the Pacific the ships may not be a recognisable. The gameplay while mostly fun, seems to be a bit clunkier and less polished than the game’s rank counterpart. The carriers especially could do with some work as I feel they are not just much more dull than using the other ships but also has very little to affect the battle. ✓ Games Too ShortI love this game, it has advanced rapidly since it started, a very good mobile adaptation of its older sibling. However, the games go by way too fast. More often than not I’ll be in the middle of a firefight and both teams still have 3-4 people left but the game times out. The games are too short to really even think strategically, which is a big part of PC WoWs, having to plan and choose your battles. Here though, if you don’t rush straight into the conflict, you may not even be able to partake in the fight. The other thing is the blueprints. They’re something that no other game has, and while trying new things is always good, I’m not in favor of the blueprints. It limits upgrading your ships to sheer luck, something other Wargaming games have not done, instead you usually choose the weapons and upgrades that best suit your fighting style. I’ve had the same ship for over a month but can’t max it out simply because I’m missing a few AA blueprints. On that same topic, the XP gain is much lower than any other wargaming game, just getting to tier V can be difficult as each battle only awards you around 200 XP. ✓ Almost brilliant, but really frustrating for BritsThis game is so much fun, and really addictive! I really recommend it. However, there are two or three things that wargaming should change. Firstly, some of the in-app purchases are so expensive. High-tier camouflages can end up costing £20, which is insane. Ships themselves can cost up to £100. It seems like a huge rip off. Secondly one or two ships have had a disservice done to them. The most obvious is King George V, which had arguably one of the most comprehensive armour layouts of any ship ever built. Improvements in British armour manufacturing made its armour as strong as that of IJN Yamato. However, in the game the ship is very weak, far weaker than all same-tier ships including Bismarck, which wasn’t historically the case. Ships like HMS Nelson also need to be given their historical torpedo tubes. Nelson’s sister ship was the only ship to ever successfully torpedo another battleship. HMS Hood also had torpedo tubes. German battleships have been given them in the game, and this double standard can be frustrating. Lastly small glitches in torpedoes and turret traverses need to be ironed out. ✓ Absolutely brilliant ... however.This is a brilliant game in all areas. Wargaming has once again made artwork. There are just a few small things I’ve noticed. The warships just don’t feel as massive and epic as they do in a similar game - Naval Creed. I’m not quite sure why or how to improve this. An annoyance that I also found is (in my personal option) the games just don’t last long enough. Which is ashame as there is no time for epic duals, coordinated team play or to simply get an area re-capped. I’m not sure if the time increases with higher tiers, I hope it does. I also hope wargaming intend to add more ships into the game. I’m waiting patiently for British battleships 😂. I would also love to see British aircraft carriers, which is something I feel wargaming really hasn’t explored yet. All in all this is a amazing game with a incredible development team. So first I would make the rounds last at least a minute longer. Second, make the maps a little bit more open, and third, some ships have main guns, secondaries, and torpedoes. For example the Kirov has the 9 180mm guns, 6 533mm torpedoes, and also has 6 100mm guns. However the only times that the 100mm shoot is against aircraft. I wish that the auto searching secondaries were not just on the premium ships that have different caliber secondaries. They should be on most of the ships that were built like that but the minimum caliber that should be done to that should only be like 76mm-152mm. These are my only problems with this game, and as stated before they are not major. But I do find it very frustrating that since an update torpedoes will explode and damage your ship when they're say at least 10 metres away from it in scale reference to the actual game. ✓ Best and most underrated game on ipadThis game is honestly the best game I have ever played on iPad bar minecraft. But I do have a hand full of criticisms. There is not enough do yeild to make the game any less then a grind in tiers above tier 6. Secondly carriers are far too underpowered and I feel as though they are also boring to play as when compared to the main game, so maybe consider changing the way you play carriers. Thirdly could you experiment with higher graphics settings for newer iPads? The game is super high quality but I think that the hardware could probably run something slightly better (I’m not an expert so don’t quote me). Fourthly you should add a plain sea map maybe with some fog to make it interesting and finally I think there should be more battle types, such as maybe an escort the convoy situation or a carrier battle but more importantly longer and larger scale battles going for up to 15 minutes with 10+ players on each team, with setups like Jutland where 2 columns of ships battle each other. ✓ Great! But...So, I haven’t played this game long. Just a couple of months. The game is fun, certainly more so than PC. However, there are a couple of things. Gold is WORTHLESS, especially compared to to PC, with no decrease in cost. 600 gold to respec a maxed out commander. In PC, it’s 21 gold for a 21 point captain. Even with this factored in, it’s still(!) more than 20 times greater than the cost to respec a commander. Second, higher tier (or level, or whatever) battles have become incredibly boring. I don’t see how you can fix this, but I’m just venting here. Third, you don’t listen. I know you reply and all, but you haven’t listened to us. The players have been calling for buffs for MONTHS, for ships like Goliath (T10 CA) and Conqueror (T10 BB) but you haven’t listened. It’s ridiculous. Other than that, the game is great. Good graphics, decent gameplay T8 and below, and a good way to kick back and relax. ✓ Very good game for startingI love the game how it is based on the actual Wows, now all we need are the German BB’s and English and French etc. Very good game though! Also the movement of the ships need to be improved as they seem to drift and it’s hard to shoot at them, especially DD’s. Also gaining tiers and xp seems to be double or triple times harder than the actual WoWS itself which is kinda annoying, I don’t know if there is a specific purpose. Also needs a better chat system and automatic secondary gun button as well because that’ll help. ✓ Good Naval Game, But...In World of Warships, the graphics, gameplay, and pretty much anything you could imagine is good. I myself am a dedicated player, but I have come across some issues that NEED to be sorted out: 1. Progression; it needs to be a whole lot quicker. It seems as if I spend hours on the game, but only progress by 1000 xp, at MOST! It is frustrating as WOTB is so much easier to progress. 2. The ship lines. The most Iconic navy in the world ( The Royal Navy) only has a rubbish teir 3 destroyer. The Russians, however, have a whole line of cruisers, when they played no major role. Frankly this is disrespectful of all those brave lives lost. 3.Drifting. The destroyers seem to drift as they move, and as an occasional battleship player, with my slow reloading guns, makes me miss. 4. Time. I think that an extra 3 minutes would make this game exceptional, which in all degrees, it should. As another little side note, there should be a game mode that takes 100 seconds to capture, like WOTB encounter battles. This game is really, really good, and I would recommend it to any player of WO games. P.S. The whole XP exchange is overly complicated, and I have yet to figure out how to get that to work. There only needs to be one type of XP that buys everything. Also the tier X ships cost way to much, and if you didn’t pay money, it would take YEARS to get them. And once you’ve payed like 30 bucks, you would be so OP that the game would get boring. ✓ Great Game, One ProblemI love this game. Been playing for a while now. Great graphics for a mobile game, feels very realistic. Except for one thing. Torpedoes. Torpedoes are extremely overpowered in this game. When fired from a destroyer, you can see exactly what path they will take. Because of that, it is a lot easier to hit ships than it should be. Another big problem with them is: even when a torpedo misses, if it is a miss under 30-40 ft, it counts as hitting. Which is ridiculous. That keeps skilled players from “threading the needle” and going between torpedoes, because they’ll be counted as “close enough” and do damage. For the first problem, I would suggest either shortening the aiming cone considerably so that you have to time the enemy, or decreasing the accuracy of torpedoes by giving them a potential to turn slightly, and as you upgrade them on your ship, that turning degree will slowly decrease to be less of a factor in your aiming. For the second problem, I have one suggestion that I believe everyone who plays this game would love. Torpedoes should only do damage if they actually hit the ship. Not if they’re “close enough” to count. In real naval warfare, close doesn’t count. Make that aspect more realistic. Thanks for your time, and pease take my ideas into account to balance the destroyers/cruisers in the game to be more realistic. However I feel their are a few problems such as battleships being easy pickings for torpedo boats as you can’t put run them, they have amazing stealth so normally I see the torpedos before the boat and when I do hit them with both my primary and secondary guns nothing g happens they take a small amount of damage but no where enough to deter them. As well as this I play the British line of ships and for one of the largest fleets in history they only have one line of free ships. However, there are somethings that are a little annoying to deal with, one been that communication. Unlike world of tanks, the communication is very very limited and it feels almost impossible to coordinate with the team. I understand the fast past could be a reason to why there is no better communication but i was wondering if an effort to better improve the communication will be implemented in the future. ✓ PerfectI play this game everyday and I just love naval warfare games but this one takes the cake. It’s fun to play alone without a fleet but it gets WAY better when you have a fleet that communicates on a voice chat on discord so y’all could strategize against the enemy team. I saw a review talking about a battleship player fighting a destroyer and how he unleashed a full salvo from his main guns to a destroyer but here’s the tip when you do that.....USE HIGH EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS armor piercing shells from a battleship will over penetrate the Destroyers Armour and not do much damage but HE allows you do no WAY more damage. So here’s an edit, I’ve played around 4.6 thousand games and I take myself as an experienced player I own 114 ships and to be honest this is the only game I would spend money on. Not saying you have to but you can, lots of people say it’s pay to win and all that but let’s be honest I’ve seen lots of tech tree ships beat premium ships in a straight brawl it’s really amazing to watch. However please for love of god fix the torpedo hit register. ✓ Love this game, but...Something really needs to be done about destroyers. Really. I understand that players have the option to play in a ship they choose in a style that best suits them, but carriers, battleships, and cruisers AT LEAST take some skill and thought to play with. Destroyers, on the other hand, take absolutely no skill. There is no reason for a destroyer to stay completely invisible as it approaches a battleship so that it can unload a full salvo of torpedos and get away unharmed, nor should it be able to nail you effortlessly with torpedos from 15 kilometers away. Here are my two ideas for solutions: first, make it so that destroyers aren’t completely fricking invisible. They’re maneuverable enough to dodge fire without a cloaking device. Secondly, and perhaps in addition to the previous suggestion, get rid of the torpedo aiming cone. Destroyer jockeys already have it made—at least make them work for it by mastering how to aim the torpedo spam they’re about to launch. As a beginner you pretty much have to stick to battleships and cruisers as destroyers and aircraft carriers are very fiddly and require some patience to learn and a good eye to master. Most annoying are the various daily bonuses and premiums which you have to search hard to locate, especially as regards events, where the prizes seem to be hidden intentionally in a very poor user interface. ✓ Amazing gameThis is a really good war game, highly detailed, real ships, very fun. It is nice how long it takes to upgrade ships purely because if you could get a new ship every few battles the game would get really boring. One thing I really don’t like is how big of a hit box torpedoes have. You could steer away or towards the incoming torpedoes and they will miss you then they hit you when they’re a good 5 or more metres away from the ship. Torpedoes don’t explode when they get close to ships they explode when they hit ships in real life so please fix this. ✓ Great game a few issuesOverall the game is extremely deep and will keep you playing many hours. The grind is a bit long to get to tier 10 but getting to 5-6 shouldnt take long at all. The skill ceiling at high tier keeps things interesting. A few things to keep in mind, the turret bug has been around for months and still no patch :(, alot of premiums will cost money but are gimmicky in their abilities and while there are quite a few good ones overall theyre a waste of gold, the aggressive match making makes for alot of bots and speaking of which please for the love of god fix the maneuverability of bots, battleships will turn faster than player destroyers and it makes so dropping torps anywhere but point blank are useless, also match making doesnt seem to take into account which ship you are using. I.e ill find myself in countless games in a AA cruiser with no carriers. Obviously its impossible to match make perfectly but it makes alot of the more niche, high skill ships useless in random games. Overall its a great game with aot of potential. P.S the experience system massively encourages kill stealing as you can do 40k damage and no kills and this will get less xp than doing 10k damage and 2 kills P.P.S faster planes are needed. I think that in order to just keep a squadron in 1 place it should be 1 click bit to make it attach the more it should be 2. This would make controlling your planes much easier because it means that when your planes are sent out the won’t just drop bonds or torpedoes randomly because you didn’t get there in time to re-adjust them. Finally I think there should be a way to lock a fighter squadron on to an enemy squadron so you don’t have to keep moving them. I hope wargaming take this into account but it is still a great game. ✓ Review about stuff 2: Electric BoogalooFirst off, the game is EXTREMELY fun. As far as I know they have fixed torpedoes (don’t quote me on that) and the ships are fun to play. I like the addition of Graf Zeppelin with AP Bombs, and the 1944 West Virginia compared to the PC 1941 West Virginia. The one thing is that as of the late November/Early December Patch, the game has been constantly crashing. It used to be only in the port, but now it is in battles as well, ESPECIALLY after dying. It is very annoying and I would love it if they could fix this and make the game as fun as it was back in earlier Fall. Edit: Got a new iPad, the game works fine now, but mainly now the only things that could be better are more tech tree lines as on PC, specifically British carriers (and battleships, and destroyers...), French destroyers. It’s the multiplayer that’s fun and addictive. Unfortunately in order to progress one has to spend a lot of (real) money on buying gold to upgrade captains etc as well as a lot of time. Also it is very advert heavy and many adverts are for gambling and are aimed at under 18s... ✓ Absolutely awesome! Only one problem I have, and it’s not gameplay.I absolutely love this game, I cannot get myself away from it. The gameplay is awesome and easily learned, the concept is really simple. The only problem I have is that they skip over many important historic ships that would be iconic, particularly around the UK tech tree. Incase the creators didn’t know, British naval power pioneered in Dreadnoughts/fast battleships, carriers, and destroyers. Also, the US navy played a major part in Naval history, and I think the least the creators could do with this game is put important ships of US history (YORKTOWN CLASS, USS ENTERPRISE, USS WASP, BATTLESHIP) at least as a premium ship. To continue with this, you know how Scharnhorst and Tirpitz are the premiums of their sisters? Wouldn’t it be great to do the same thing with US battleship Alabama as a ship capable of being reached without money? It’s sisters included South Dakota (Class leader), Indiana, and Massachusetts, any of which I would be happy with (I would prefer South Dakota, because the premium ships need to be better, South Dakota has four less secondary turrets). ✓ Good game, needs workOkay, so this is a good game. I’m a tanker, and so it needed a bit of getting used too, but I quickly got the hang of it. Gameplay is exciting and action-packed, range of ships impressive, and capabilities also. The game really illustrates the difficulty of naval combat - but maybe a bit much so? Ships are a little too clumsy, guns a little too slow. After all, warships have crews of hundreds, and there’s only one of you. The graphics need a bit of polishing. I’m used to World of Tanks, which is not exactly beautiful, but it casts a shadow on this. Another detail is the lack of British (and French) ships - I was expecting American and Japanese only, excited to see their was a British category, and disappointed to find only one ship. Again, it’s a typical American failure to recognise that there’s stuff going on outside their bubble. The British and French had as large an impact as them on World War Two. ✓ Very good gameThough there seems to be a bug with the attack aircrafts, if an enemy sends their attack aircraft in range of my attack aircrafts but don’t they don’t reach their destination, my attack aircrafts automatically enter into a “dog fight” even though their attack aircrafts can be freely controlled as long as they don’t set the destination nearby, this then lets them draw my attack aircrafts across the entire map and into their ships where they get destroyed by the aa guns. ✓ Too fastThe games great, everything seems balanced and fun so far. The only problem I’ve encountered while playing is that games are too short. Multiple times both sides have 4 players with decent health and the game ends. 10 minutes would be better and would also allow a level of strategic thinking. As it stands, games are too quick to even allow an actual win or lost to appear, but almost consistently a mid-game stop. Please reconsider the time limit as I believe it really limits the entertainment per match. Edit:Torpedoes. They seem to be “activated” several torpedo widths away from ships. Causing damage despite the actual visual representation of the torpedo not touching anything. This heavily effects both battleship and destroyer gameplay. As battleships are even more vulnerable to torpedoes than in PC and causes them to be essentially useless in matches where both sides are skilled. It makes destroyer duels to be less skill and more spam torpedoes too. Please, make torpedoes only do damage when they actually touch the target, not half of my ships length away from my actual ship. Edit2: Please for all that is holy, give at least 10 minutes per game. WoW blitz has less time than wot blitz, has bigger maps, and generally slower speeds.
