✓ Fantastic game, predatory micro transactions.First off, I love this game. It is exciting and fast-paced, and just fun overall. However, I always find my enjoyment hampered by the need to spend outrageous amounts of money on the game. You are constantly assaulted with ways to spend money to speed up the slow progress, get new ships and portraits, and special currency. The ship I have always wanted to see in the game, the USS Enterprise, costs 50 dollars. This is simply ridiculous. You could almost buy a full Triple-A game for that much, or spend it on a small 3D model on a mobile game because it’s named after a great ship. Also, there are so many different types of currency, blueprints, consumables, etc. that it can be confusing for new players, although this is a minor gripe. I have played this game and the wargame series in general for years, on the computer and my phone, and will continue to do so. However, I find myself unable to spend money on the game where I would otherwise, and think many new players will be put off by the predatory money and progression systems, expensive ships and portraits, and ludicrously priced Premium service that is always shoved in your face. I understand this monetization system may be lucrative, but I find it frustrating in the extreme..Version: 3.3.0
✓ Save your moneyThe game itself is fun and addictive but sadly the greedy developers are doing what they can to ruin the fun. They are running a algorithm that is going to make sure you will end up in a long streak of loosing thus hoping you will spend your hard earned money to start winning. The league is a joke and the way they decide the teams screams to heaven in its unfairness, on one side you have 6 high level players and on the other you find yourself as the only high level player and the rest low level, but the programmers high on their energy drinks just can’t seem to get this into their head, it doesn’t matter if you have 7 Mercedes on each side, if the one side is all driven by Lewis Hamilton and the other side is driven by Boris Johnson. So do your self a favour and save your time and money, you will never win in this game..Version: 2.3.0
✓ 4.4 game killerWas this update so bad it was on purpose? I suspect it is, no company in its right mind would send out something this bad unless they wanted to kill the game. The game is unplayable the UI is a train wreck and it crashes every 3 games if your lucky, the only thing that works is a constant bombardment of “offers” that are absurdly overpriced. Got an email to update review, they did try to patch and now it crashes even more, even the offer spam causes crashes, it also crashes when you complete a mission or use chat, which also resets chat..Version: 4.4.2

✓ A tutorial bugThe last and first time I had the game instead of upgrading everything to lv1 I did to the max and after a battle the tutorial thought I didn’t fully upgrade my ship and it kept on telling me to upgrade to max even though I did and ever since then I wasn’t able to play so now I am downloading it again. ✓ A bit wargaming really.Against my better judgement I have played a lot of Wargaming titles and have certainly enjoyed them. They look great for a start but are all plagued by a terrible MM and RNG. How is it that a match will start where one team has nearly all the higher tier and the other has only one? Why not try to equal it out? Next comes the insane RNG, you play the same way in each battle in one match your shots do damage in another they do next to nothing. This is what creates the ridiculous sin wave win loss that everybody gets in any wargaming title. One last petty thing, is it necessary that all boats start from rest? ✓ Glitches during the gameI’ve been playing this game for a while and love it, but lately it’s glitching non stop for example: When shooting at an enemy ship, every second the enemy ship changes position, as it’s going forward for one second you see it stopped staying at its place and the next second it’s advanced so much that can’t shoot anymore, or it stops and goes non stop. Please fix it. Also annoying about tiers, when playing for example with tier 9 (IX) ship, all other ships in my group and enemy group are 90% in tier 10 (X) so it’s difficult to sink a ships before getting quickly destroyed. Needs to be balanced as it’s only 7 ships in each group it’s should be 5 ships of tier 9 and 2 ships of tier 10. It’s the same with all other tiers, when playing with tier 5 & 6 or 7 & 8. I believe tier 10 should be on their own both groups of tier 10. Other issue is the levels, for a ample if I’m level 7 others in my group are level 2,3,4,5 and the enemy group 80% is all Masters, which makes it impossible to win and the game ends in 2 minutes. SUGGESTION: 1) Why don’t you make it a bit more interesting, having one group as normal 7 ships from one country and the other group from other country. It can be one group all American ships mixed from destroyers to carriers like now and the other group all Japanese or German or French, so it will be a country against another country. 2) Is it possible to have submarines to make it more interesting and real?.Version: 3.5.4
✓ Good Game with issuesPretty fun game at the lower tiers, but at higher tiers problems become more evident. Firstly, and my biggest request is to make matches longer. On PC matches are 20 minutes and that is staggering when compared to the 7 minutes wows blitz has. I’d recommend increasing the time of a match to about 10-12 minutes, as i think that would allow a team that is winning on ships but not caps to make a comeback, now if you get 2-3 caps at the start of the game and play relatively bad then you still win which to me doesn’t make much sense. Also I feel that this game doesn’t have the amount of players on each team it needs. If you get placed in the middle of the map and everyone goes around the flanks then you are alone and will likely be killed very quickly. I would also like if you could customize the controls (like on wot blitz) I often can’t really see much on the mini map and wish I could make it larger but I cannot. Just receiving my first t10, I have discovered the shimakaze, and frankly I think it’s overpowered. For being able to sink a BB in one go it still doesn’t really lack in any other department other than firepower with its guns. I think lowering the health and maneuverability would be a good change to the shimakaze so t10 is less toxic.Version: 2.3.1
✓ Please fix Torpedo’sI only give the 3 stars, because of issues with the torpedo’s. On numerous occasions I have lined the enemy warship and fired only to watch my torpedo’s go through the enemy, or see the enemy due a 90 degree turn and evade them. This has happened when up close to them. I have also had the torpedo’s hit me when I steered my ship through the gap between them. So there was no way they could hit me but they blew up next to me and seriously damaged my ship and on other occasions killed me. On other occasions a torpedo will get near the stern of my ship and not even be close but explode anyways and once again damage my ship. This game is a lot of fun to play, but if they could fix issues it would be even more fun to play. Aiming is another problem that is inconsistent you can have the enemy lined up perfectly, the same way that they show you how in the tutorial and when you fire who knows where your shots are going to land. On numerous occasions also it like firing dud rounds. You fire your guns and watch the rounds go directly into the water and not even be close to the enemy ship. This is while you have the enemy sighted in and they are stationary too. Gets very frustrating. So I hope they fix these issues as this game has so much potential to be unbelievable awesome..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Spend money to playIt’s fun... good graphics, very easy controls, and very easy to understand upgrading and tier system.............. I’m only giving it 3 stars simply because after you get the ship in the 4th or 5th tier ; with out spending a lot ALOT OF MONEY, its almost impossible to get a higher tier ship.. the only real way to get a higher tier ship is to spend 20 dollars on gold to buy it... i played this game for a month and after that month I can’t get any higher tier ships .. not because there not there but because getting a higher tier ship (any higher tier ship) requires so much xp and you get so little per battle that either you can play for the next 2 years to get enough xp to get it or you can spend a ridiculous amount of money to buy the in game currency (gold) to buy it... which ain’t worth it. .. so if you have hundreds of dollars just laying around extra then this is the game for you!!!!!!!! If you are broke and don’t have lots of money then don’t download cause after a month or so you’ll get stuck and can’t do or get anything else so not worth playing.... it would get 5 stars if this money problem was fixed.....Version: 1.10.0
✓ In my opinionIn my opinion the battleship is useless in this game. It barely damages smaller ships which are easy OP because they are to fast and their torpedos have such an impact on the ships that everyone uses them. I have never see a ww2 video were a cruiser or a destroy has been sunk by one complete blow from a battleship. That’s my opinion but apart from that fantastic game. ✓ War gaming fan for yearsI've been a wargaming fan and player for about a decade. I came over with some of my friends from EVE online to try this new thing called World of Tanks. Love it. And loved Warplanes/Ships. I was excited about the mobile versions because I travel for work and could play on the road even in my truck. I've had a chance to go back to the PC versions and am saddened that Warplanes has been neglected. As I'm a passive player I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company. Can wargaming please answer the question why warplanes has been neglected? I'll bet if you launched it on mobile to fill the void of Warbirds you will find a ready base of income that could fund attention back to PC warplanes. Also it would be cool if we "as customers" could link our paid accounts across all the products. You guys did excellent work building this business building a base and income revenue. You could keep it growing with some nods to airplanes.... look at the base of players from Warbirds that are playing on Chinese servers.... Y'all build a great base. Is it dead? Are you just going to ride out what is left? Or will you invest back and make another generation love and PAY to keep your games alive. Rant over. ✓ Full Review Everything You NeedThe game is good. I understand the graphics can’t be as good as pc. Things to consider are adding new tech trees, more campaign, and rebalancing some power crept ships or op ships from events. Change bots so they can’t turn super speed and just make them better at fighting like using abilities and aiming torp bombers. Things that you HAVE TO FIX! As a very good carrier player, easily doing over 80k in non t10s, there is glitches with fighters, and most importantly, pressing return on a carrier and then re aiming torpedo bombers make them go 5x faster when turning to attack. Next, this game is very easy to hack. People can se through smoke screens without radar, one shot things that can’t be one shotted, etc and the glitches that people expose are crazy to the point where it’s hard to tell if it’s hacks or not. You need to mega patch this game so it’s playable because sometimes, things aren’t. Finally torpedos and afks. There is a glitch where you can phase through torps and hacks that you can do this while NOT AFK! Please FIX. So the gameplay itself is 5 stats for an app game, everything else is four stars, but these glitches and hacks are one star. Overall 3 stars until they fix this stuff..Version: 3.4.3
✓ Completely broken, needs a ton of redesigning to be savedFirst off, there is no armour indicator or citadel armour indicator, meaning that anyone who plays pc WOW has a huge advantage over those who don’t, as they know where to hit your battleship’s citadel when you are running away and are barely in their gun sights. Secondly, battles are way too short, resulting in destroyers always being the ship that wins battles, due to their ability to cap zones and with them, the points that they generate. This isn’t helped by the fact that every mode is a points mode, so the battle is often over before it even begins, with the team that has more destroyers being victorious. Thirdly, the upgrade system is atrocious, instead of using ship xp to unlock different Hulls and Gun types, you use “Blueprints” which are basically cards you collect that can be used to improve your ship. However, there are a few problems with this system. Firstly it takes forever to upgrade ships this way, as ships have multiple different modules that need upgrading, and the only way to earn blueprints is through battle or crates, 1 at a time. Secondly, there blueprints are divided into tiers for some brain dead reason, and you can get fighter blue prints for ships at tiers 1&2, WHERE CARRIERS AREN’T EVEN A THING YET, MAKING THEM ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Thirdly, combination and separation is horrible, combining lower tier blueprints gives you a higher tier blueprint, but you need 3 lower tiers to equal a higher tier. NOT WITH SEPARATION! You end up going 1 for 1 with separation vs 3 for 1 with combination. Carrier gameplay is so bad a 2 year old probably made it, so broken that I’m forced to summarize. Dive bombers: broken Torpedo bombers: broken Fighters attacking bombers: broken Fighters dogfighting other fighters: broken AA defences: broken Premium carriers: makes everything else look like someone actually put effort into this.Version: 4.2.2
✓ Issues still not sorted after 4 yearsI’ve been playing this game for 3 years but took a 2 year break from it because of its various issues. Coming back to it I see that little has changed. Player matching is still all over the place, with some games so one sided that it becomes a farce. Destroyers are still overpowered, cruisers are still overly vulnerable, and paid-for items are still way overpriced. While the interface has been updated slightly, the basic game hasn’t changed in years. Updates bring new ships while failing to address the game’s many bugs or even to add useful features. The reporting system doesn’t seem to have much affect and the games many poor or lazy players ruin it for the rest. The biggest problem, though, is probably the servers. Games frequently freeze or crash, players stop mid game or don’t even start. After 4 years none of these issues have been addressed. It’s a good game at its core but has suffered from a general lack of investment..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Crashes and Compatibility ruined this gameWell it turns out I had actually been playing the game for a bit and loved it a lot. At the time I would give it five stars easily. Because of lack for phone storage, I ended up deleting the app for a couple of days, during which an update took place. After trying to get into it once again the game claimed that my phone was not compatible when I fact it should have been. (Which is to say it was updated well beyond the minimum and was listed as compatible by the app itself). Let’s just say that I was over a little bit mad that such a great game would have such a big problem. Sorry World of Warships. I also had huge problems with the game crashing on me, which shouldn’t have happened as often as it did. I would also lose a lot of xp and silver this way since it would happen in the middle of a battle. After finally logging back in it isn’t present to see that you got destroyed on account of the game. Forget spending money on items and also premium ships unless you play 24/7. Gold is just too easy to loss. All in all could have been a great game if it wasn’t so neglected by its creators. Now I play world of tanks which is easier and more boring but at least it will let me into the game. ✓ BrilliantSaid it a 1000 times its now annoying. Game should be longer on TOO many occasions other team wins because the game is cut short on time and there is NO way they would have won if there was an extra minute. It makes it tiresome and unenjoyable. Fantastic game....BUT! Wonderful ambiance and hats off to the design team who did an amazing job of the models as they look incredible. Special note to the musicians who I think have written some world class music that is worthy of a film score. Its so annoying when sometimes the match is cut short though by the timer just when it is getting really exciting at the end of a match. Crazy really cos battleships don’t exactly zoom around the battle field, an extra minute would make all the difference. The ai thinks it knows who would have won but that’s impossible sometimes as a game can turn around in the last few minutes. Personally i think people wouldn’t mind playing a different ship for a moment while a match ends properly. It would be a much better game as around 20% of matches end while still in a skirmish. ✓ Huge waste of timePlayed several games and the game is geared to let those who spend money win or the bots win. My ship and two other ships in a row all shooting at the same target did no damage and that one enemy ship destroyed all 3 of my team ships. ✓ Good game but awful operationSilver grinding is a little awful. There is also no free premium time, in contrast to world of tanks blitz. The challenger missions sort of mitigated the silver pressure. Recommend refresh frequency to be 3 times a day, one at 6:00, another at lunch time, and another at 20:00. I think silver boost can be made to 100%, 200% and 300%, considering how expensive high tier ships are. Torpedo nerf at point blank is a positive change. No more cheap shots. US CA line after t7 is a shame. DM is weak on every aspect comparing to zao. Recommend reducing the cool-down for DM skills and make skill level 2. Match making is horribly imbalanced. I often saw team match with one side simply having more high tiers than the other, or sometimes just one side with high tier while the other side does not. Recommend fleet size of 7 to allow user initiated fleet rather than random. Make ranked battle more frequent rather than just 20:00 to 22:00. Some ppl cannot play during the time of day. Report player function does not work. The drop down menu for report is not clickable. So there is no way to report afk players. I think some players use hacks. Their ships can turn very quickly, eg. A Kongo class battleship finish a U turn in 3 seconds. Other ships teleport. There is no battle time chat, so team communication is impossible..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Good game BUT!Even after the update I’m still rarely are able to finish a game! Game keeps crashing and I have to re log back in to find if we won or lost! It is a nice surprise to see I’ve won the MVP though! I think I’d much rather play to the end though! I play on an iPad, maybe consider this before downloading. I do like the game and would consider buying premium ships and gold if only it was more stable! ✓ Fix pleaseTo advance beyond tier 5-6 is very hard, and once you do the blueprints required to upgrade the ship are very very hard to obtain, I’ve played over 4500 battles and only have 21 blueprints for tier 7-8 ship and 4 blueprints for tier 9-10, so it would at least take a year or more to upgrade your tier 7 and above ship to elite status in its current format🙁 Also there seems to be a lot of invisible ships that fire torpedos at you, strange that you can see their torpedos coming at you but not the destroyer that fired them? or you are firing on the destroys and then they turn on their Klingon Cloaking Device and disappear, but then reappear next you firing torpedos at you, not very sportsman like, apart from that not a bad game😊.Version: 0.9.2

✓ The compatibility is broken.I played this game a while back, and while I didn’t really get that high on the tech tree, I found that it was a very fun game and there were a lot of different strategies depending on which ship class you chose. Torpedoes were broken though, if all three hit an enemy ship it deals like half their health, but half the time I would get a direct hit and no damage would be dealt. I eventually stopped playing this game when I downloaded an update and was told “you do not have enough storage to download this update” when I had 6gb remaining. I eventually deleted it because it was taking up space and I couldn’t use it. I re downloaded it today, the App Store said this app was compatible, but when I open the game it pops up a window that says “your device is not compatible” and I’m like “huh? I’m confused.” The game requires IOS 9.0 or later, and I have version 12.4.6 (latest version) so this is very confusing. You are telling me that I have to buy a new iPad every 5 years just to play this game?? I can’t afford to do that (well I can, but just to play this one game seems unreasonable). Why am I not compatible?? Devs, if you are reading this, could you please add back compatibility options for the iPad mini 2 or at least provide a good reason why you removed compatibility? ✓ Another Blitz-miss from the subdivisions at WG.WoW and WoT PC player since day release, a fantastic series of games. WoTB was a flop after its first year and WoWB isn’t going much better. Whoever programmed the AI in this needs to head back to class, it’s worse than the WoT AI and that’s a disaster in itself. The torpedo hit-and-runners in WoWB is a whole new story. One sortie of torpedos and you’re dead. The total unfinished feel to this kills the fun straight away. Ranking and leveling up requires way more time and XP compared to the PC counterpart. Heavily unbalanced gameplay (a finishing score of 617 Vs 617 earns you a defeat and not a tie) and everyone uses the overpowered torpedo-spamming destroyers. Frequent crashes, typical Blitz players and frame rate drops (yup even on an iPad Pro with the lowest graphics settings!) add to missed-release of WoWB. The controls are half-decent however. If you’re looking for a ‘World Of’ game, stick to the PC versions where things are taken a LOT more seriously..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Love the gameI like how you added a console, Mobile and pc version so everyone could try out your games, I also like the fact you respond to people’s reviews it shows how much you guys really care about our questions or complaints the only complaint I got is. ✓ Fix those torpedoes and lengthen the game timesThis is an enjoyable game with a fairly comprehensive yet simple tier based growth system. Most of the in game functionality is up to par as well however there are some glaring deficiencies. While 6 minutes may seem like an adequate amount of time in which to complete an online mobile multiplayer game, I believe that the game would be far more enjoyable and dynamic if it was extended to at least 7 minutes. I believe this to be the case because most of the ships in the game cannot traverse the length of the map very quickly at all, which means that you can very easily find yourself playing catch up in the back end of a game fairly often. Another major annoyance and demerit of the game is the ridiculously oversized torpedo hitboxes. You can be almost half a ship’s length ahead of a torpedo and it still somehow manages to detonate and damage your ship. This means that it is next to impossible to “thread the needle” and it means that you are constantly getting hit by torpedoes that are not shown to actually make contact with your ship in the game. I would give the game an additional star for each respective issue being addressed but if I had to choose one over the other. I’d definitely say it would be the torpedo hitboxes..Version: 1.7.0
✓ ConcerningEven with the latest release, today, WG, still havent fixed the issues regarding tier matching, in fact it’s worse. Something that was on their agreed fix list. Obviously refuse to fix it as it benefits the game and not the players, it’s completely frustrating. I also concur with a previous comment regarding the algorithm. If you win more on one day your guaranteed the next to lose double the next. Ships won’t perform as they should, certain aspects will happen more as in you catch fire, flood, your own ship won’t fire torps or the shell will miss. It’s very obvious. Any ship you play will not be consistent from one day to next, so it’s pointless buying any premium ships, as there in no point as performance is variable. WG refuse to listen to players in general and put in changes which aren’t beneficial to the game play, understand money needs to be made, at least they could make the game play more consistent. On the good side the ship design is excellent. It’s just a shame the refuse to acknowledge that most players now realise there is matching fixing and ship fixing performance. ✓ A very good game, pity it keeps crashingThis is an amazing game which I love playing and passing time with, a we while ago an update came and from then on when I load into the game mid battle, pre battle or after a battle I would crash and have to load up the game, the most recent update now doesn’t let me load the game before it crashes. I have tried multiple solutions like turning my iPad mini 2 off and on again but it doesn’t seem to work. Please fix this and thus game is definitely worthy of 5 stars. Finally the once greatest navy in the world (royal navy) only has the cruiser line of ships, I would have loved to have been able to unlock vessels like the HMS hood and prince of Wales, I hope u take my comment into consideration.Version: 2.2.0
✓ Good gameThis is a good game great realistic ships and plenty of oppositions to have battles against. Unfortunately there is a glitch in the system that I was hoping this update would fix. this glitch means that some of the opponents can CHEAT as there ships disappear and then reappear fire at you and then disappear again, this is not the first time that this has been mentioned not only by myself but other members who play the game,if this was sorted it would be one of the best games you can play. ✓ Not that pleased. Rating going down every week.Becoming more and more frustrating as I play well but lose game after game in a row with terrible teams. The laws of probability would make this kind of result improbable at best- I also question the algorithm in selecting teams as many times this “random” selection sees one team having superior ships to the other. I also seem to lose mostly when I have employed my limited supply of boosters. All too convenient I think for there not to be some form of handicapping in an effort to extract more of my hard earned money. Also it seems sort of modding is happening, I have photographic evidence of ships appearance being altered, but more importantly to game play is the performance of vessels compared to my own: my ships have upgrades which allow for better speed, turning radius etc. however I have witnessed ships I oppose on many occasions which totally defy the laws of physics and exceed any extra bonus available in the game. An Iowa BB traveling at max speed suddenly turns 270 degrees within its own length to avoid a spread of torpedos launched at point blank range? It’s not the matrix. Also ships disappear when I have targeted not deploying smoke screens at ranges of less the 5km, like what is that? I just had a full spread of torpedos go through a Montana amidships and not detonate. Next time it happens I’ll take some screenshots for the lawsuit... ✓ Good game ruined by poor designDon’t get me wrong it’s an awesome game until you get to higher tier where you have to turn yourself into a game slave to advance. You will lose money at higher tier even if you win. Besides the game developer being unreasonable and greedy, this game is has broken match making. It has no MM system, meaning you can face top ten players as enemies and to make the matter worse this game promotes cyber bullying by encouraging good players to party up to prey on the beginners. I am not talking about two people grouping up but rather talking about those pitiful people who party up in 4s and enjoy smacking around little children’s (beginners). This is a huge flaw on WOWs and they should be doing everything they can to fix this instead of making worthless bundles which are ridiculous. It’s a great deal! ✓ Unbalanced, poor user interface, but otherwise goodFirst destroyers in the game are overpowered and ruin the game play. I think the developers rebalanced the strength of destroyers for awhile, but the game seems to be going backwards in this regard. Also, the proliferation ships available only through purchase are warping the game further. Second, the GUI needs work. The font is so small as to be illegible on my iiPhone XR - very much unnecessarily so. It’s actually gotten *smaller* over time as the developer has cluttered up the user interface to get players to buy packages. The tiny font is discriminatory against those with impaired vision. How do the developers (and Apple, which I presume has accessibility GUI standards for apps) not understand this? Maybe they don’t care. Also, the controls do not provide haptic feedback but should (especially rudder control). All in all, it is a fun game, but the gameplay is unbalanced and the user interface is cluttered, hard to read, and lacks helpful haptic feedback..Version: 4.5.2
✓ Toxic, Overpriced & FrustratingI’ve been playing this game for a year and I wish I could say it’s been worth it. Unfortunately, the chat room is a toxic cesspool full of racist and homophobic bigotry and there’s no available means to report it. And for those who actually get their accounts suspended because they were spewing hate and intolerance simply return under a new name to do more of the same. The premium ships available for purchase are overpriced and are nearly as expensive as any console game. The reason why this is an issue is because if you want to collect specific high-end premium ships the cost alone can easily run up into the hundreds of dollars out of your actual pocket. Lastly, while the game can be challenging in a good way, it can be very fun when you are grouped in a fleet with other experienced players. Unfortunately, the algorithm will more-often-than-not group you in with a bunch of novice players who don’t take the time out to learn and master the basics which ultimately makes you want to bang your head out of frustration for even wasting your time. ✓ Aircraft carriers ruin this game.I used to love this game, I’ve played it for years across all platforms, easily spent hundreds on it over time. But aircraft carriers have ruined it and I cannot put up with anymore of this nonsense. Carriers are game breaking, AA is useless, it doesn’t even scatter drops. How is loosing over 50% of your health at the beginning of a match fun? You cannot out manoeuvre the 4 squadrons of planes some carriers get at higher tiers, it’s ridiculous. You don’t even give us a matchmaking option or game mode where we can play without them. The player base has been complaining for ages now, on all platforms, yet you still ram them down our throats. Even better lately, when I play a battleship, the enemy team will have 5 destroyers... or if I play as a destroyer, the enemy team will have like 4 cruisers. ✓ Good premise, needs improvement, BATTERY KILLERFirst let me say I’ve been studying naval history and warfare for a long time. This app is what I’ve been waiting for. That said, it’s got good points and bad points. GOOD: You control a warship, guns blazing, hell bent on destroying the other fleet, with other players controlling their own ships. It’s like Jutland without organization or a plan of any kind. It is more simulation than arcade, with semi-realistic maneuvering and turret traversing. The ship models are beautiful, from the smallest Japanese destroyer to the South Carolina class battleship and many more. The BOOM of the main guns is sweet. The objective of missions doesn’t waver- destroy the enemy fleet. Elegant simplicity. BAD: It’s a battery killer. Expect an hour or so before your Battery Life Warning pops up. Also, the matching system negates upgrading your ship. You spend all kinds of time and resources to get a better ship, and then in matches you’re sent up against ships of equal disposition. Seems fair, and I understand the reasoning. It does reduce the excitement of having upgraded your steel dragon” when everyone you’re matched with has equivalent strength..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Don't like the blueprints.I would like to research my parts like in WOT to feel like i have accomplish something, also to feel rewarded for my hard work, it almost feels like im gambling to get blueprints. Gathering XP is way more difficult than i expected, feels very slowgish. Also the game looks almost if made for children very arcade looking, the gameplay as well. Game just came out, is not perfect i know. Edit: The game promotes gambling in a way that effects gameplay. I won't be surprised if the matchmaking is rig so if you start winning then it will put you with players with very little skill so you start loosing and force you to pay to get better parts for your ships. I don't have evidence of this but if they have loot boxes i do expect them to back up their loot boxes with this. I'll just keep playing Naval Creed, where almost everything you can get by simply playing. XP for upgrades we got that. Credits we got that, and its fair and fairly easy to get. Gold? the game just simply hands you gold just for playing. Free XP we got that as well. Even when you are away you can send your ships on missions to get you credits and XP. ✓ A Few Problems:1. There is a limited amount of ship slots, meaning you can only have a few ships at a time. If you want a new ship you have to recycle one of your old ones and they refund is not worth it. 2. Purchasing higher level ships from the beginners ones means a “currency exchange”, where you trade your gold for silver and get so confused and ripped off. 3. Joining a “fleet” has no benefits except the fact that you can say “hey I’m in a fleet”. ✓ Great game but can’t get any where in the gameI’m new to this game and I think it’s fun to play because of big cannons firing and heroic manuvers but I can’t progress like I should be because every time I’m in a battle with someone as soon as their low health and I’m about to get a kill some scum bag in a destroyer kills him torpedos and steals my kill and that’s been happening every game and every game I’ve been getting 0 kills because of that so my only way by progressing at all is by doing crates and playing player versus ai. ✓ Fix it nowIm sorry, but i am a huge lover of wargaming games, i play all of them. But this game is just broken...big is constantly horrendous, destoyers with their torpedos have no minimum range, so they can bumb rush you in a battleship and one shot you at point blank range, and there is LITERALLY NOTHING YOU CAN DO. Also, making credits is DOWN RIGHT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. You make an average of 8k per game in a tier 6 ship, WITH premium, and a tier 7 ship costs 2.2 million...you do the maths...it will take me hundreds of hours to buy a tier 7 ship....im sorry, but compared to world of tanks blitz, that is just pathetic. Premium ships only make 20% extra cedits as opposed to wot blitz which has premium tanks with double the coefficient for credit earnings. FIX IT. ✓ Where did the time go?Blitz is obviously not at the same level as the other two versions of the game, but in my opinion, this is the best warship game available on phone devices.. So why only three stars I hear you ask? My issue is the six minute timer per game, it’s honestly far too short. I know it’s a mobile/tablet game, but when so many of my matches are ended by the clock with plenty of work left to do, it’s not only incredibly frustrating, but also makes the game feel a bit cheap and unpolished. I don’t feel the battle length justifies spending the time grinding through the ships, nor does it justify the price for the transactions.. the ships themselves look great, but as to be expected, not in the same league as the other two versions of the game, yet the price for premium ships, premium time and other goodies certainly doesn’t reflect that. Blitz to me just feels a little unloved, unpolished and lacks replay value simply because of how short the battles are. ✓ It was a good game. But now it’s only pay-to-winThis game was really fun before, I played more than 4,500 rounds and paid more than $200. But it more and more becames a pay-to-win game. I believe they decreased the rewards of the game, so it will need infinity time to upgrade the high level regular ships if you don’t want to pay so much. I assume you want to pay 12,000,000 sliver coin to buy a level X ship, it will take you about 400 rounds, or 40 hours, or pay $50 to get the silver coins for just one ship. And this is not even include the camouflage and the commanders upgrades, like extra $50 for each ship. Think about it, there’s 28 regular Level X ships in this game. I have to say it’s too tough and the developers are too greedy. The worse thing is in this game recently they will mix matching 2 teams with 2 levels, not like same level before. For example you have a regular level IX ships, you have a very good chance to face not only level X regular ships but also level X “pay-to-win elite” ships. If you know how much different between 2 levels and how much advantages the “pay-to-win elite” ships can have, you will understand what I mean. I promise you it won’t be good experience. ✓ Commander and Carrier ComplaintsEdit 3: Downloaded game once again. That fixed the crash, however now I’ve lost everything linked to my WG account. I won’t be playing this game again. Edit 2: Latest update now causes the app to crash when loading. Downgraded to 1 ⭐️ Edit 1: had to downgrade to 2 stars Carriers are too weak, need better AA firepower. Since games are so quick, no strategy and no ship protection is ever used to protect the horribly weak carriers. Suggestion: bulk up their air defense to give them a slight advantage against another carrier’s air attack. Carriers had a decent air defense in real war, might as well give that to them now. So much has to be done when using the carrier, it’s impossible to maneuver AND send an attack. Help us out developers!!! I’d give this 5⭐️ but the new commander additions are a bit ridiculous. I’m automatically given 7 from all different countries but I’m only able to use the ones that correspond with my ship’s nation?! Why give them to me that way? And I’m only able to recruit one commander every 48 hours?! And I’m not even guaranteed one from my ships nation. Seriously giving me a commander for China, France, Britain and 2 from Germany?! ✓ Imbalances GameThis game sucks. Never have balanced systems. First Torpedo ships get speed and heavy armour together, once they get close to normal ships, the ships are done without any chances due to the fast speed and heavy armour of the Torpedo ships. Second, the weirdest part is the same tier ships damage, when you hit another same tier ships nearly half HP, they still can kill the same tier ships regardless the same tier ships and the same level Captain. Never Recommend this Imbalance game, it is so unfair if you don’t pay this game..Version: 5.0.1
