✓ It’s been betterBeen playing for over 2 years. The graphics and gameplay is probably the best you will see. I play on an iPad 2, and I haven’t played anything better. People criticise the the game for charging quite a lot of money for things, and it is quite expensive, but you don’t need to spend money to play. It takes longer, you don’t progress as quickly, but it’s do-able. It’s still enjoyable. My issue is with the matchmaking. They keep tweaking the tank parameters to even things up, and that’s ok. The main problem is the player stats. The individual win rate. I have played and lost 15- 20 games on the trot and when you look at the players win rate I find I might have the best win rate in most games on my team (55%). The rest of my team will be in the 40’s and sometime lower, and the opposition will be in the 50’s and higher. This is frustrating and they do need to address it. There’s no point in levelling out the tanks if there is such a huge difference in the teams collective win rates..FedupwotplayetVersion: 5.1

✓ Bait & switchWorst developers I’ve come across. Literally all they have done since I spent allot of money is lower the effectiveness of the items bought. And with the 1-3% loot crates you get ripped off. 99$ for a week of premium time and a few more extra credits as usual. Playing on the weak side of children and adults all while getting them hooked on gambling. Besides all of that, you get spam mail from all the other players telling you how bad you are and the “timeouts” you get from playing because players report you because they just didn’t like how you played and how you didn’t cater to them in the game. Causing them to contact customer support and complain about how "unfair" the game is. Secondly all the buff changes after you invest so much time and or money totally ruins the game and time you invested. There is no longevity to the player base in the game because of this. So much potential this game has but its wasted on constant fondling by the devs in regards to the buffs. I say that if a player don’t want to play against a premium player there should be a separate matching system that one can open into or out of, that way all the complainers will stop ruining the game for the rest of us. The money I spent for what used to be good tanks now is a waste as they are no longer even considered good. ✓ Great game but serious issuesSo I love this game, I’ve played it since it first came out and I was a complete “noob”. 30k games in I understand tanks, I know how to drive and side scrape, go hull down basically play to the tanks strong points. I get very frustrated with the match making. After a battle I look at the other players stats what you find is a vast difference in win ratios usually stacked in the winning teams favour. You’ll get a team of 40-50% win ratios and then the other team will be 50-60% and upwards win ratios. How is that fair match making. So if you consistently end up on the losing team your stats go right down. Fair match making? I don’t think so. Also when you open a container I’ve sort of noticed if it’s x3 you’ll be on a losing streak, if it’s x5 winning streak. Hmmm strange. Another thing point blank non pen hits, ghost shots that go nowhere, bounced shots all stack up for the games being rigged. I love the different tanks, the variation in game play. The maps and graphics are awesome. Gold is a little pricey but it’s a business and I understand they need to make money to keep the game going. I would think by working on the match making and balancing the teams up more people would stick with the game and therefore buy gold making it more profitable. ✓ Hopeless gameWas good for a few years, but has gotten worse, as constant ratio against higher tier tanks is 80 percent as to 20 percent for same tier tank. My average has suffered because of all these unfair tank matchups constantly, very disappointing. Ratio should be 50/50. The game has deteriorated significantly because of the higher ratio of battling higher tier tanks, I can’t even improve my average, I’m just constantly going backwards. That higher tier tank ratio needs to change or it’s pointless continuing playing. In Platinum rating battles you will get gold players with 43 percent win rate and 0 skill therefore making it nearly impossible for you to win your games. The game is designed to not let you win more than 40 battles a day so it makes it harder to grind this game. They have also increased the prices of tanks, premium account, etc. It is also hard to grind credits from normal tech tree tanks as the consumables and ammunition has increased in price. This is definitely more of a pay to win game now as tanks like the Annihilator are taking over the game and making it harder for free to play players like me. Overall I think this is a game where a lot of thought has gone into it, the graphics are great for mobile, however something needs to be don’t about the matchmaking and price of tanks. ✓ Issues to be addressedDear wargaming, First of all, I really love this game. It has such a simple prospect but you can play it over and over again with each battle a unique experience. Pay to win elements while present, I don’t believe are unfair as the tech tree tanks pack a punch as well. However following a recent update, the in game matchmaker now sees to it that the winrate you spent (8+) years trying to improve on is now pointless (as it now merges everyone towards 50% winrate regardless of skill level). This would be fine if it made the games better, sadly it just means you are in a team of even more useless than average players if you are even semi competent facing a similarly composed enemy lineup. There is no refuge in ratings battle mode either; which in theory could be a better grading system than the regular graded battles (but only if it was the only graded game mode); but again, the ratings scoring system rewards very average players by encouraging inactivity and non team play such as deserting the team under fire in order to be the last survivor on the losing side (to get ratings points), sometimes at the cost of the game, which just destroys any notions of sensible team play. ✓ Tears of a VeteranI was one of the first people to download this game when it was first released. I remember how much fun I had. Moving my way up the German and American tech trees was a blast! Bombing it around in my M4 Sherman, causing mayhem in my Tiger 1. It was great! Back when they released this game it was titled a “Historical shooter”. Sadly, I see it’s been rebranded as a “Historical Fantasy”. At first it was fun to see some weird and wacky vehicles be put into the game. I had a few. The IS-3 Defender, the Nameless, just to name a couple. They were fun! Not really game braking. But all of a sudden, the game was swamped by all these crazy toy tanks that no one asked for. Ridiculous skins, icons, profile images, loot boxes, seemingly random game modes and “battle passes” that just pushed out re-skinned tanks or absurdly OP tanks that really had no business being in the game! Matches kept getting faster and faster and faster! Low tiers were all but forgotten. The matchmaker sometimes doesn’t have enough low tier players to even start a battle. How is a new player supposed to climb their way up the tech tree if there isn’t anyone to play with or against? Of course, that’s what the developers want. They want new players to get fed up. They want them to open their wallets or beg their parents to open theirs. Just so they can play the game! Tier 1 matchmaking, impossible. Tier 2 matchmaking, impossible. tier 3 matchmaking, almost never. Tier 4 matchmaking, almost never. Tier 5 matchmaking, maybe. Tiers 6-10, broken but at least enterable. This game has become a rancid cesspool of ads and poor marketing practices. To top it all off and what truly discusses me, is just how toxic the player base has become. It’s on par with games like Fortnight. When I first started playing, of course there were toxic players but back then the kinder players outweighed the bad. Now, it’s just horrific what kinds of things I see in chat and what is see done to allies on the battlefield. This game isn’t “going” down hill. It reached the bottom and the developers started digging further. I played this game for years! But I can’t bring myself to open the app again. ✓ Completely BentI have been playing this game for about two years - it is horribly addictive and has great graphics, but the fact that is a Belorussian game registered in Cyprus tells you everything that you need to know about its honesty and integrity. Instead there is a convoluted system which at times gives loads of easy wins in strong teams, while at others one loses loads of matches teamed with primates, while playing against opponents in higher tier tanks. The other objective appears to be to give players on the Russian server an advantage. ✓ German Tanks Feel Underpowered?As I have stated on the forums the role of German Tanks like the Panther, Tiger I and Tiger II seems to be diminished as a medium marksman tank due to fantasy ‘premium’ tanks like the Smasher and other post-war prototype tanks, which makes the role of the Panther and the Tiger series pointless. Once you basically reach the Tiger II it feels sub-par compared to the other cold-war era tanks that it is up against at Tier IX, it feels that I rely upon it playing against lower Tier VII’s to feel balanced... Secondly I’d like to point out that the tech tree overall feels less grindy and satisfying ever since it was changed at Update 5.5. It is because ‘unreasonable Tanks’ have been removed making the skill gap at certain tiers like Tier VI/VII a big leap in learning curve. Furthermore the removed tanks like the DW2 are unbalanced and can sometimes be seen in games - these need a serious rework. So in conclusion the later German Tanks like the Panther and Tiger are worse to use than other Tanks on offer at their Tier by other nations and ‘premium Tanks’ - If the German Tanks are to be viable there either needs to be serious rebalancing of other tanks and premiums at its Tier with a serious look and the weak spots, or the tech tree needs a rework with the Tiger/Panther series being lowered a Tier and adjusted for that. ✓ Rigged to get you to Spend MoneyFirst, I'll highlight the pros of this game; The graphics & physics are simply stunning (the best on iOS, dare I add), the gameplay is fantastic, and the tanks themselves control really well. But all of these advantages are overshadowed by one thing; the matchmaker & RNG being set up to purposely make you lose more often than not & trick you into thinking that you need to spend real money into the game in order to progress. A game which decides whenever or not you lose rather than actually letting you win or lose is a game I do not want to play, and neither should you. EDIT: my iPad mini 1 is not able to showcase any high graphics settings, the invisible tanks 'camo system' is utter unfair rubbish no matter how much others would try to justify it and the game has been crashing every two or three battles, sometimes crashing for two battles in a row. Even when the bugs are fixed, I do not recommend this game to anyone. EDIT: The new updates - which have undone every bit of effort and money people have poured into equipment and replaced them with a paywall - is yet another reason you should not download Wargaming's money-printing machine. ✓ Okay concept, poor gameplay decisionsI’m going to get this out of the way right now. This game does have its moments. That feeling when you one shot ammo rack some poor soul is unparalleled. However, that leads into my first topic. This game is 95% RNG based. Don’t get me wrong, there’s definitely skill involved, and it takes effort to get good at the game, but the amount of times where I have missed the killing blow on an enemy that would have either saved me, a teammate, or won the game due to nothing else but Rng is just ridiculous. Instead of going directly where you are aiming, your shots will instead land somewhere within an aiming circle on your screen. This means that even if you get close, aim carefully, and wait for your circle to shrink there is still a ridiculously high chance for you to miss or ricochet. It’s also hard to play tanks you want to in this game. Some tanks are clearly better than others, and there is definitely a meta. Just trying to play anything that isn’t top tier is a nightmare sometimes. This makes the game feel less alive since everyone is using the same tanks most of the time, and it gets old quickly. And that’s without even looking at all the pay to win tanks there all, but I’m not going to even get into that. ✓ Bad balancingI have been playing this game for a while and have gained tier 6 tanks so with experience in the game I can say that the match making takes a long time and servers are laggy and sometimes lags you out of a game mid match so you have to restart the game and when you get back your tank is destroyed. It often pins players with higher tiers against lower tiers so you get lopsided teams with crap players and low tier rank while the enemy has tanks that can do 400 hundred damage per shot, if not just one shoting players with low armor. The developers seem to love Russian tanks making them stronger then almost all other tank branches. The biggest problem being the KV-1 or two and the SU-100 or higher, they do 400 hundred against tanks that do 160 or 220 most tanks that are the same tier have 800 or 900 health so they can get two tapped. They seem to hate America because the tanks from that branch can’t even compete so much pay to play and the worst part is that it panders to the people who have money to spend as well as the fact that there are no other tank games on the store that can keep up. Fact is if you play this game and don’t want to pay, expect the people who pay money to win. The maps have no vantage points for TDs to support long range or stay hidden. Simply no point in playing as Obj268 now. The cost of shells and add ons makes playing anything other than premium tanks (paid for) at tier 7 up to 10 prohibitively expensive. There are now so many very expensive premium tanks that are very powerful, the standard line up and older once cheaper premium tanks are left in the shade. Finally, whether you win or lose is largely determined by how dense your team is. I’ve played 140 games so far, I have a win rate of 57% and I have 3 tier IV tanks, I can’t afford to buy any one of the tier V upgrades as I have 200k silver out of a required 400k. Keeping in mind tanks up to tier IV have only cost 40k. I haven’t bought any upgrades or used premium ammo, that’s just how much of a grind they expect you to do before you go crazy and pay for gold. I also had a few days premium on this, and it made no difference. Problem is the battles are smaller than on PC so less tanks to deal damage to, which means less money to be made per game. Edit: The dev response is laughable, “the fact of payment doesn’t influence ingame processes...” Did you forget what premium does in your own game? World of tanks has some serious issues that Wargaming will never properly address. First issue; Toxicity. World of tanks has a never-before seen level of toxicity from little kids and hardcore gamers alike. There are easy ways to say extremely offensive words and there is no easy way to report someone who could be going as far as shouting racial slurs in the chat, which happens at least once every couple days in the battles I participate in... I can assure you things like this happen a lot more than what I see. My tip to wargaming on this issue would be to allow for a non-abusable report system in which moderators review a section of footage from a game which has been singled out for review by a player after a battle has concluded. Second issue; “Limited Edition”? Not a chance. There’s always a sense of pride driving around a premium vehicle not many other people have, but lately, feelings like this have become very scarce as a result of marketing tactics. Wargaming has introduced many premium vehicles for their game (and wallet) over the course of the years, claiming that many of these tanks being offered are “One Time Offers”. Many players who purchased tanks years ago are now finding that their beloved unique vehicles are now re-appearing in shops to be purchased with in game “Gold” which you can only obtain by purchasing from the in-game store or completing different tasks while in game, keep in mind these tasks don’t often pop up, and give you small amounts, like 25 or 50 gold meanwhile the tank you want to buy costs 5000. Anyways, many players who once had unique, rare vehicles are now feeling scammed, due to the fact that their way of showing their seniority through and old, rare premium tank has now been squashed in an attempt to lure new players’ wallets into buying a “new” tank. I have experienced this personally as well as companions that I play with. My suggestion to remedy this to Wargaming would be very simple. Please stop bringing back original premium tanks for the sake of your bank account, you’re out of touch and are causing a lot of mistrust and turmoil with your money-grabs. Third issue; Pay-To-Win (PTW) is very present in this game, and even encouraged by Wargaming. Many things can be bought with your money in World of Tanks; Credits, Gold, Tanks Multipliers, Avatars and profile icons, and so much more, but the main issue(s) in this list which can only be considered the top of the iceberg are 2 things. Gold, and Tanks. First off, Gold is an in game currency used to “Speed Up Game Progress” which is exactly the way Wargaming says it. There is nothing hiding. Opening up your wallet and buying gold speeds up your game progress, otherwise known as Pay-To-Win. The worst part is besides the things you can buy with gold, like premium tanks, or instant tank upgrades, you can also use it to buy Free Experience and Credits. It would be a lengthy explanation to explain what they are, but long story short, they are 2 in game currencies which when put together can let you buy any non-premium tank in the game which would otherwise be earned by battling for credits and experience. This means that if you open your wallet, you can blast your way through game progress. Another issue is that although many of the premium tanks offered are balanced, or just simply unique, some tanks do not follow this template, either being stronger than what can normally be found in non-premium tanks of the same tier, or being a rendition of a higher tier tank, but often brought down one tier with some very minor degradations, but not enough to make them equivalent to tanks of the tier they are re-assigned to. It’s obviously just a way to pay for an advantage, one way or another. Fourth issue; Aggressive marketing... way too aggressive. It’s plain and simple. World of Tanks’ marketing has become extreme lately. From ads with invisible “X”s that you can’t close to repeated ads appearing every day, over and over again. These aren’t normal ads either, these ads push the sale of in-game products. It needs to stop now. ✓ “Free to play” but pay to winThe game is very solid and looks amazing on mobile. It can genuinely be fun if you don’t take it seriously and plan on playing for a short period of time, like a week, and then remove it. The problem is that the entire game is meant to frustrate you into spending money, that’s it’s sole purpose and if you have fun along the way it’s a coincidence. Like most “free to play” games it has a hefty micro transactions market, which is fine but not when it impacts the game. Once you reach tier 5, maybe even earlier, you will face all sorts of overpowered tanks that ruin the matchmaker. I was a fool enough to buy one of these vehicles. Initially it looked like that was all but soon I got back to being instakilled from across the map by a $50 tank. You may be thinking that I was just a bad player but that isn’t the case. For a while I had 56% win rate that continued even until tier 8. Honestly it’s quite the travesty that such a great game is tainted by Wargaming’s greed. Other games manage to make money through healthy routes such as skins and decals that don’t effect your performance. Unfortunately that is not the route WG chose. This corruption also seeps into the community which is quite toxic most of the time. Having obviously devoted many hours of my time to this game I feel that it’s a mixed bag. It’s a good quality free game as free games on the AppStore go. The battles, events, graphics etc are all good, but I feel the game lacks progression or a point. Ok, you’ll play an extra battle and so and so but what after that? New tank, ok and after... it’s gets repetitive fairly quickly. Also as this is a team game, you are dependent on your teammates which are likely to be afk, unsupportive, pushy and or rude. There is way too much emphasis on win rate as opposed to playing ability. On the other hand the game does have a huge community and commitment to tanks, live streams, other statical data recording apps and websites are all good fun and provide an in-depth Immersive experience. ✓ Daylight robbery.I used to play this game much more a couple of years ago but felt like it was finally time to write a review now. First, I was truly impressed and addicted to this game when I first bought it. It worked well and was beautiful but that feeling quickly dissipated when it came to finances... there came a point when I noticed how insanely slow it was to progress naturally without using any real money. Like a true moron, I shelled out at least $100+ in real world money so that I may upgrade my tanks etc but even these ridiculous, thieving "bundles" the game sells dont go a long way into helping you progress and get better tanks. The last few updates have also done NOTHING to make the game a better experience and its intentionally designed to rob you of money. ✓ Fun but…This game is great, it is well made and doesn't have many bugs, however autoloaders are ruining it. They are so overpowered and can ruin your entire battle without you being able to do anything, perma tracking you in place and taking off half of you hp in 5 seconds, with you only being able to hit them once for a small amount, if at all. For example, the fv4005, which does 1640 damage jn 7.5 seconds, and it also has shell reload boost which makes this 30% faster. Its just ridiculous. Another tank is the tvp 50/51, which has stupid mobility and can deal 1240 damage is 4 seconds. These tanks make it pointless to drive a tanks like the 60tp or any high alpha vehicle because you are always out traded. Wargaming, if you are reading this, please nerf autoloaders, make their interclip reload something like 4 or 5 seconds. This will make the tanks actually possible to counter and them still being good and a unique playstyle. The clip reload time should be relative to the clip size and damage per shot of the tank. Trust me, this will make people come back to the game and will make it so much more enjoyable for so many more people. Do you lack competent people in your company? Answer: There is no place to address the matchmaking problem. This tell us that you are not taking this serious. And there is no improvement what so ever on matchmaking. Your support says that the matchmaking is based solely on tanks. While it doesn’t even seem right, the matchmaking is extremely poor, this is based on poor players performance destroying the game for more experienced players. More than three quarters of my losses is due to players who have absolutely no clue what they are doing. In tier 10! This is easy to fix if you just put some effort into it. We used to really enjoy playing the game together from two different computers and trying to work together in a platoon. The Game has a built-in feature that sensors texts and comments however people get around this by using misspellings and other things. It got to the point that I stopped playing and had my son stop playing too. The other part of the game that is really difficult is it seems you are match together where one team either obliterate the other or you were on the team the dominates. This doesn’t make for much fun in playing the game. I do believe the moderators do their best to try to clean up the language and make the game fun however in order to really do well it seems you have to buy upgrades. But the same problem exists in all the servers I played, the match is never “fair”. Two teams seem to have similar average win rate, but sometimes the system makes it unbalanced to compensate consecutive losses or penalize consecutive wins. This is not a good idea because it satisfies some players but make the other team unhappy. Also, win rate is not a good measure of player’s ability. Why not just randomly make up two teams? And compensate consecutive losses by adding robots? There is not point to penalize consecutive wins. It only causes disappointment. Therefore, after 6 years, after I have all tanks in this game, after I have 60+ win rate, I still feel disappointed and sometimes angry when playing this game. Now, I know this is a big task and would require a massive overhaul on the system. But with devices such as the new iPad Pro 2018 (The one I’m on right now) The capability’s of its processors are way over the amount that they are actually getting used. I feel that the GRAPHICS COULD IMPROVE GREATLY. And that MANY MORE PC FEATURES COULD BE ADDED. Also I would like to see MORE TANKS IN THE GAME, more tanks from new countries. Like Sweden from the PC. Thanks :) New Suggestions; BIGGER MAPS like in pc and console will bring better, more strategic games rather than a cramped small arena. MORE PLAYERS in the matches with the bigger maps this will make the games way more fun. With great powerful devices like the new iPad Pro’s (2018) and others coming out, I feel that these suggestions aren’t ‘Outrageous’. ✓ To much farmingThe game is very great and I realy like it, but when u start to go to level 5 tanks (I call them like that) or higher it just takes to much time to farm the xp and the credits even when u haver premium and boosters. I mean yeah when u play it for like 2 hours a day u can get them like in 1 or 2 weeks but with half - one hour play time a day it takes a month to get a level 6 tank.
