Full Code Medical Simulation for Positive User Reviews

Great appThank you for helping me to see my weakness. Very helpful and stimulating. I always said that the best nurse should be one step ahead a doctor. This app makes all the money in the world..Version: 3.0

Incredible! As a current medical sales professional strongly considering a career as an EMP, this app has been incredible! If you are determined to solve complex problems by utilizing different methods and interventions, this is for you! From where it started to where it is now is just unreal. So much fun..Version: 3.2

Highly recommended learning tool for Emergency Medicine clinical staff.Easy to use, well laid out, and provides plenty of food for thought..Version: 3.2

ExcellentExcellent app, appreciate links to evidence/teaching materials at end of each discussion. Would love to see some SI units though....Version: 1.4.3

Absolutley amazing game to work on my clinical skillsLove using this game to play with friends and work on our clinical diagnosis.Version: 2.1

Opioid odGood case w smooth progression of simulation..Version: 3.2

Interesting...I don’t typically review apps, but here you go. I’ve been in EMS about 5 years. In Paramedic school right now. Not a Dr by any means, but not green either. :) If you are in med school, or a nursing program, this is awesome! It focuses pretty much entirely on the hospital portion, no pre-hospital. It’s frustrating for me because I score really well on assessments, history taking, and stabilization (a medic’s job) but score poorly on more advanced hospital care. It’s a good app. But I would not advise for the prehospital worker. I’m giving a 4 star review because I feel it should have been better communicated that this is all ER care, no prehospital. But it is educational!.Version: 1.4.3

Great App!!!Great app very extensive.Version: 2.3

Free casesNeeds more free cases.Version: 2.0.2

Good but too expensiveI really enjoy this game however to play the full version it’s either £11.99 a month or over £80 for the year which in my opinion for a game is ridiculous! I feel if the prices were dropped Lower more people would buy the full game but that’s just pure crazy! Don’t know what the developers are thinking 🙈 otherwise game is great.Version: 3.2

Amazing appReally this is an amazing app very very informative and educational and very up to date, which I do really recommend for every practicing physician indulged in medical field, to exercise his mind, and at a very affordable price , furthermore the extensive and deep coverage of each topic in the presenting case is really very outstanding, really I am very happy with this app , I do recommend very much for every practicing physician in whatever field is working cardiologists, internists, or ICU/CCU& ER fields as well.Version: 3.1

Closest Practical Training without harmI’ve been using this app on and off for about 10 months, and I am amazed by how much knowledge can be gained. Although you don’t actually perform the interventions and physically touch a patient, it provides good insight and knowledge on patient workups and helps train your mind on assessing acute cases. I’m only certified as an EMT, but this app grows my confidence in understanding different varieties of cases that I’m not normally exposed to at my job and gives me a peek into what happens to patients once they arrive into the ED. Would recommend this to anyone looking to expand their knowledge at any level..Version: 2.5

No Prehospital care at all but great appA little pricey subscription but it’s worth it to just give it at least a try. The cases are good too and there’s a lot to learn. I wish it were possible to re-examine pt or to see a vital trends after notable interventions. The few times it allows you to re-examine this is after intubation to reassess lung sounds and also it allows to rerunning labs. The patient doesn’t also decompensate over time. If time could be a factor that you can switch on or off in the app that would be impressive as this is an emergency medicine app. Worth the money I think and very time consuming. Too easy to get drawn in to the whole case..Version: 2.0.2

One off payments would be betterWould be good if you could buy cases with a one off payment rather than subscribe.Version: 3.0

This is GOOD!ER Nurse with 1 year experience. This app is the closest thing to actual scenario’s that I see on a daily basis. Medications are relevant, vital signs and presentations are realistic. Great app for anyone trying to refresh or to learn something new - especially if you haven’t been exposed to a diverse group of situations..Version: 2.1

AwesomeI have used it from past 1 week. Very good application to simulate emergency cases. A lot to learn from it. Common cases that present in emergency. One thing is time factor could have been included and patient deteriorating due to untimely intervention could have been added. Overall superb application worth the subscription..Version: 2.1

Amazing, very educationalAs I study to become an paramedic I notice there aren’t many very responsive medical education/simulation apps on the store this is by far the best one I’ve seen. I am excited for what future updates will bring!.Version: 3.0

Fav medical app!!This is definitely the best emergency medicine app out there. I’ve learned so much and I really appreciate the option to invite friends to get access to the cases. it’s a wonderful app and thank you for making it!.Version: 2.9.1

Excellent appAmazing app worth all the money.Version: 3.2

Great gameVery accurate, very good to test skills and knowledge on no matter if your a doctor or just someone with an interest in medicine.Version: 2.9

Best appBest app to practice!!.Version: 2.4.1

Great app for diagnostic practiceThis is a great app to practice diagnoses and first-line treatment plans. Includes some more complicated cases that push you to think about different diagnostic tools. Would recommend to anyone who works/interacts with the ED..Version: 3.1.1

So EducationalI love that there are a variety of cases, some more low key than others, so you don’t feel overwhelmed or ignorant — you use your own brain and learn a little bit every time :).Version: 3.2

Accurate medicine, and fun / entertainingHave been using this since I decided on ER as a medical specialty, so around 3rd year medical school. Have definitely learned things that I’m sure have helped me while working in the ER. Great explanations, and it keeps me entertained. Its hard to come home after shifts and read books or listen to lectures, but this app makes it much easier to do a quick case here and there. Roughly fits board style format for ER boards, as well. 100% worth the money for any med student / resident..Version: 3.2

Nice review for the Emergency ProviderThe scenarios touch upon many of the common and not so common presentations in the Emergency Department. It’s a nice review and doesn’t dive too deep where you get lost in the weeds. It’s a good reminder of some of the true emergencies that we don’t see everyday but need to have a firm grasp of. Reviews at the end of the case have quick summaries with articles attached if you want a more in depth review. All in all I would recommend.Version: 2.0.2

Learning Made AddictiveThis app is easy to use and full of information. It is hard to put down. It’s definitely worth trying out!.Version: 3.0

Realistic, pricey, funThis is the most realistic game I have played. Although it is realistic you have to take into consideration that most games that are this real are pretty expensive. Overall this game is really fun and I recommend you getting it if you like realistic games, ok with price, and love having a good time playing something..Version: 2.6

Love itLove this app!!!! But sometimes help me with key actions doesn’t work?.Version: 2.9.1

Lovely gameI was maybe thinking you should try adding every case free. What about students who don’t have money to pay and want to learn but I love the game in general I wish you could have proper blood in cases and you have a section to stitch or clean or plaster. I wish you could have surgery mode and paramedics mode to make it more interesting to play and for people to download more Thank you.Version: 2.5

J.L.I love this app. Am a nurse with many years experience and am currently undertaking a course for development to ANP and this app has been fantastic for running through simulations and working on decision making , systems enquiries and requesting appropriate tests. My scores are improving and it’s a fun, safe way to learn. My only issue is that some of the terminology is American and I don’t recognise it. Minor problem though. Thank you for this app 👍🏻.Version: 2.4.1

Great gameI really like the game, but I wish there were some new free cases..Version: 2.9.1

Great medical simReally good at testing clinical thinking and management of acutely unwell patients.Version: 3.0

Fun!I enjoy learning about medical practice, and I really enjoyed this simulation! The only problem is the lack of free cases. I would really appreciate if you could make a few more!.Version: 2.6

Great & InformativeVery fun app and a good learning process. It is very well designed. Thankyou!.Version: 2.2

ICU RN approvedThis game is very real life, you can select almost any diagnosis or med that comes to mind, consult many specialities, etc. there is a rotating variety of free cases, many more for paid, and rationales have gotten much better with the last update. What I don’t like: - penalizes you for being too thorough. I get penalizing for completely unnecessary tests, but it penalizes you if the assessment wasn’t “critical” - in different cases, the layout of where actions are is different. Some cases, fluids are in the Stabilize tab, others they’re in the Interverventions tab under Meds.Version: 3.2

Interactive learningAs an emergency RN this helps me plan for orders prior to them being given, and also allows me to mentally train for various scenarios tha we often see. Practicing these in a game format helps me to be ready when we see these cases walk in the door..Version: 2.5

All Around Great App!I absolutely love this app! It’s easy to use and up-to date with new medical treatments and problems. The animations are modern and real looking. All around the developers really nailed it. I just wish they would update it and add more cases more often. Especially Pediatric cases. I just keep going over and over the same cases and no new ones are being added :( . If they just updated it more often, this app would be superb! Thanks for making such an intuitive and well thought out app!.Version: 2.7.2

SubscriptionIt’s so fun why can’t it be free aghhhhhhhh😤.Version: 2.1

Best medicine/ED Simulator you can findEngaging and interactive. Subscription seems a little pricey but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this is the best medical simulator you can find on the App Store. Some Medical professionals can earn CME hours as well. Overall, this is a great simulator that allows you to learn while enjoying it..Version: 2.9

Great casesReally useful and realistic cases!.Version: 2.4

R20: Fun way to stay sharpI am a boarded EMP (FACEP FAAEM), recently retired from the trauma arena. I enjoy the clinical scenarios, and thinking about what I would do. I am occasionally annoyed by the absence of a choice that seems obvious, or a different nomenclature that requires me to fish around to find something that is equally reasonable, but that seems inevitable. The only thing missing is a surly new grad nurse who has to be trained and/or convinced to do an order with which s/he is not familiar. It’s a great simple simulator!.Version: 3.2

Student? Pair with RapidResponse RN podcast to maximize learningI love this simulator. I pair it with the Rapid Response RN podcast to learn more about emergency medicine and critical care as I prepare for UF PA school! I love the podcast because it explains the pathophysiology, and the simulator because I get to directly apply what I’m learning!.Version: 3.0

Good appCan you please add more free cases I live the app but I really can’t afford it.Version: 2.9

ER-RNI’m a new Nurse, I’ve only been licensed for a year. I have one year Med/Surg experience. I got bored doing hardly anything and decided I wanted to NURSE! I went into Emergency Medicine, and found my passion! Except one thing, I knew NOTHING! I’m 3 weeks in, and this app has helped me tremendously! You never stop learning in medicine, but this will keep you on your toes and your A-game!.Version: 2.1

Great educational game!Very realistic, great way to review scenarios. Love it..Version: 2.0.1

Obsessed! The amount of time and effort that has gone in to this app is phenomenal. It has significantly improved my confidence and understanding of emergency cases, and as I am beginning in ED in Cambridge England as first per of my GP training this provided a very immersive safe environment in which to put my knowledge to the test. This will put me in good stead to be familiar with the salient points of emergency cases. Thank you and well worth the price tag..Version: 2.4

Wonderful learning tool!!!PGY-2 Rural Family Medicine - absolutely amazing app to keep your ER acute care knowledge fresh..Version: 2.9.1

Great RefresherAs a PA, I was searching for an app to refresh before working back in urgent care or the Emergency Department. The cases are appropriately challenging, and peer reviewed by physicians with references attached at the end of the cases. The ancillary options are equivalent to a typical ED or Level 2 trauma center. I appreciate the feedback as Critical, Reasonable, Neutral, or Unnecessary for some actions, instead of strictly incorrect. If you’re searching for an interactive app that’s only $12/month, it’s worth every penny..Version: 2.7

Amazing appLove this app, great for medical students to develop more knowledge and put their current knowledge to the test!.Version: 3.2

Love the gameI love this game! I 16 and I already know what I want to be when I grow up. I’ve known since I was in 3rd grade and that is a pediatric nurse. This game teaches everything. Everything is realistic. My one wish is that there was more free cases because I have finished all the free cases and I really don’t want to spend money on a game. And in real life you don’t spend more money to get more patient cases. I also think that this game should have to level up like being a resident, then a fellowship and stuff like that..Version: 2.5

Zhoozha!I’m about to start residency and enjoying this a lot!.Version: 1.4.3

Most Enriching AND Entertaining Game Ever!I came into this with no medical knowledge whatsoever, save what knowledge (shaky and unreliable) I gained from Grey’s Anatomy (please don’t kill me!) I cannot attest to this app from a medical professional’s standpoint, but from a citizen’s standpoint I find this app to be stellar. It allows me to pick up little things here and there, like what medicine to give for an opioid overdose and where patients need to be sent. I cannot stress enough how challenging this is for my untrained self, nor can I describe perfectly the feeling I get when I gain more knowledge from this teaching format. Rest assured, however, that it is a hugely great one! :-).Version: 2.4

Few recommendationsI feel like for new nurses especially there should be a lot more cases that are open instead of having to pay for them….. it would also be a good idea if there was a way that the developers of this game added the challenge of the player getting to place the IV instead of the game doing it! Over all, this game is a great learning experience! If you take my review and do what I recommended then this game will get five stars!.Version: 3.2

Fun and EducationalI’m in nursing school and my partner is in medical school. We play for fun and it teaches a lot, certainly makes you think more and how not to order everything under the sun. Highly recommend!.Version: 3.2

I love it!!I’m an EMT and a paramedic student and this app is amazing! I wish I would’ve known about it sooner. The cases are great and i have learned soo many new things that can now help me in the field. I wish they weren’t so many typos and stuff though I think it should get reviewed again... many cases with errors. But aside from that the concept it great and definitely worth it..Version: 2.0.2

Full codeGreat app - but too expensive..Version: 2.2

AmazingAs a student, this app lets you make a mistake and LEARN from it without killing your patient IRL. This app allows for step by step thinking and problem solving, from the moment the patient is triaged to the discharge and handoff. Each case and update gets better. I love how new cases come out weekly. This app never gets boring. I highly recommend it to anyone nervous to treat their patients in ED rounds, IT IS NOT A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL. But very useful in the step by step actions, and great feedback on the things that were good to do, or harmful..Version: 2.1

4/5Trauma RN loves it! Only losing a star because I’m Australian - the path results and meds are different..Version: 2.2

GoodI’m a paramedic, I think it’s pretty cool to review pathologies and what not. Obviously, follow local protocol, and I genuinely don’t know if everything in this app is totally trust worthy. I have no reason or research to sway my opinion one way or the other. It’s just good in my opinion to “see” these pathologies and run through my treatments that I would do in my head..Version: 2.3

Amazing app for healthcare students and workersThis really is a fantastic app that is both informative and interesting. There is a variety of cases, some free and some that you pay for, that are stimulating and very well designed. I highly recommend actually subscribing to it and paying just because of the higher volume of cases you can play around with. I’m a nursing student interested in critical care and this has been a great resource for me!.Version: 2.9

A Med Student’s Dream!Nearly a decade ago, I played this like a game on my phone, completely unaware I would ever go into medicine. All this time later, it’s such a great tool to mix up my learning in my pre-clinical years (and prep me for rotations and beyond)! It’s engaging, the simulations have gotten way more realistic over the years, and case materials are thorough and thought-provoking. This represents a great opportunity as a safe, fun way to let us med students practice what it’s like to be a resident in various fields, seeing cases and doing diagnostic and intervention work..Version: 3.2

Fun to play, informative and challenges meI first got this game for nursing school. I paid just the basic edition but plan to get other plans once I finish basic and increase level of knowledge. This game helps me to use my problem solving skills better than reading from a textbook..Version: 2.3

Great for Nursing Students!I started using this app my first year of nursing school. It helped me apply knowledge from assessment, prioritizing, medications, interventions/treatment, critical thinking, to also help diagnosis what was wrong with the patient. I graduated with my LPN, took a year off, and am now in my RN year of school. I am using it again and I still feel it is hands down one of the best free resources for nursing students. I hope they continue to add more cases!.Version: 3.0

Great cases and learning!Good SIM practice in an app.Version: 3.1

FunI have always loved playing this game. However lately (since the last update) it won’t always load. I can get it to load o car do one case and then it freezes and keeps saying loading and won’t do anything and if I close out and go back in it won’t load at all. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but it didn’t fix my problem. Aside from that this is a great game..Version: 2.3

In love but GlitchyI am a in love with this simulation. It really gives perspective to the medical world and the day to day challenges. My only problem. It doesn’t allow me to “subscribe” or choose other cases. It quite annoying. Can this be fixed?.Version: 1.3

Great AppI am an NP student- I’ve played 80+ cases with this app and find most of them pretty cool. It’s a great way to exercise critical thinking as a clinician. Here how the cases go: A patient comes in- you are provided with the H+P as well as PMH. You can examine all the systems you’d like and that information will be provided. You can order labs and imaging. You can prescribe and administer drugs and see immediate responses in the patient’s vitals. You can consult other physicians. Overall pretty cool and accurate; although most of the cases are very basic and cookie cutter admissions so you dont have to think too hard on it. Sometimes certain tests won’t add up, but this is infrequent. For example, I remember once there was a patient with a PE though the EKG did not show RV strain pattern. Just a tiny detail, I know but little things like that. Overall, however it is very cool..Version: 2.4

Great game to learn and practice medical knowledgeI am currently getting my masters in nursing. This game is a great way to increase medical knowledge and practice applying that knowledge in a no-risk environment. I upgraded to the paid version and appreciate the wide variety of cases and learning breakdown after each case. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars as I never seem to be able to see some testing results after I am notified they have “come back” after processing (e.g. blood culture results). This limits what I can do in those cases. I am not sure if it is a bug or I am not clicking somewhere I should, but how to access those results could be clearer..Version: 2.9

Great app.I've been using this app for a while now. It's a great tool to keep up to date with clinical information. As a paramedic it has helped me understand the in-hospital aspect of patient care. I've also used the app to help teach class to EMT students. I think the new AI feature is even better to help students with conducting an assessment..Version: 3.1.1

Good but too expensive for pro and basicThe game is very realistic and good but only limited free cases. The pro and basic is way too expensive..Version: 2.4

Great gameVery educational.Version: 3.0

Getting ready for PAI work in a military “walk-in” clinic but without seeing urgent patients, I was finding it difficult to wrap my head around some of the different disease processes in younger and older demographics. This app has given me some cases to learn around, and a basis for using a future scope of practice as a PA..Version: 2.1

Best medical simulatorI came across this app 2 weeks ago. I play it everyday, this is hands down the best medical simulator. I love the cases, I have learnt so much since I have been playing. Wish more case were free though!.Version: 2.8.3

:)))I haven’t played this game but I was looking at reviews and decided to download it but I am also majoring in the medical field as a RN, and there was a comment I seen that inspired me to get this game, perhaps learn a bit of stuff about it that’ll be beneficial! :))).Version: 3.2

Excellent app for clinical thinkingAs a medical student going into a career in emergency medicine, this app has been absolutely invaluable. The cases are lifelike, presented in a very intuitive way, and the feedback at the end is better than what I’ve had from some of my actual professors. A must have for any medical student hoping to do EM..Version: 2.2

One of the best simulations I have seenNeeds more cases. I already played them all. Very great to reinforce learning for nurses who want more experience or want to do case studies. Highly recommend. Suggestion is to fix some bugs and add more interventions..Version: 3.0

AwesomeThis game is awesome and fun. I learn something new about diagnosis on every case. I especially liked the ARDs and VAPI case, because vape induced lung injury is something we’ll be seeing more of in EMS, ER, and ICU. It’s highly relevant. It’s the perfect game to pass the time, because while most games are unproductive, this game refines clinical thinking and skills..Version: 2.2

Wonderful appFind it really useful and fun to learn Emergency, I’m in my last year of med school and these clinical scenarios are great way to apply my clinical reasoning skills, great range of cases some are very challenging and some are easily manageable, as in real life. Very happy with my subscription worth every penny. Well done guys..Version: 2.1

ReviewThoroughly enjoying the game however the prices, unfortunately are to high! Perhaps the lower prices? It's a great opportunity to put my knowledge to the test, except for the part where it's all American terminology. But other than that it's great just a shame it's to expensive, plus the limited free cases. Which gives me an idea, why not do one free case a day! -Or just make pro a one time purchase. Overall, amazing simulator!.Version: 2.8.1

Really fun and educational gameI am a pre Med student and this game has helped me significantly learn different diagnoses and get an idea on the process of examining, diagnosing, and treating a patient. I especially love that it includes pediatrics many games do not include pediatrics and the challenges that come along with kids. The only thing that I wish this game had was more adolescent cases like 11-17 age range with more serious events like cardiac arrest and sepsis. The game seems to jump from 7 years old to 18 but overall I really love this game and recommend it to anyone interested in medicine..Version: 2.5

Unable to subscribeDemo is amazing but it won’t let me subscribe!.Version: 1.4.3

BrilliantLove this app. Have recently come out of retirement to work in a medical clinic on a ski-field over winter. This app has been incredibly useful in helping me to refresh my knowledge and boost my confidence after a few months absence from clinical medicine. Easy to use, very comprehensive, lots of interesting cases, great case discussions - highly recommend it, Dr Tom Palfi New Zealand.Version: 3.1

Love itLove it.Version: 2.1
