✓ My thoughts on this gameIt’s a good game with good graphics and nice characters. But it gets to difficult to where you almost have to spend money and I’m guessing that’s the point... which is annoying. But once you pass a very difficult level you sometimes have to use your rewarded star on something like petting the cat or greeting a person. The story line is almost to precise. We like to be able to get out with the old, in with the new and be able to choose what we want that’s new. Not have to do extra little things. It’s very annoying but I still play it anyway because getting further in the mansion is worth it. I suppose... There also needs to be more ways to make more money than just video ads. Beating a level doesn't hardly earn you any coin. And everything you buy to help you beat a level is so expensive. Even buying hearts/lives. I think there should be no limits on the hearts. If you receive more hearts that should be added on the the previous. There should be no limit. Because getting unlimited lives is very rare. We’d run out of hearts still anyway so why give us a limit? For ads to run?.. that’s also annoying. Anyway, I’m leaving a report because this game has good potential with a good idea. ✓ LynconI was enjoying playing this game. Until they introduced the alarm clocks. They are frustrating and have taken away the relaxing part of the games. It takes to long to earn tokens and the lives take way to long to regenerate. It can take a couple of days to do some of the levels and by that stage you can get frustrated. ✓ Good and Challenging Game.I’ve read a lot of the reviews stating that the levels are impossibly hard and it’s unrealistic to try and complete them for “free” (I.e. without purchasing coins or power-ups with real money). I don’t think that’s the case at all, the levels increasingly become more difficult with a few simpler levels thrown in but there is a good balance of useful special events and good life re-generation that means you’re not stuck for long periods unable to make attempts at levels. I’m currently on level 554 and I’ve been stuck on occasion on previous levels for several days but I’ve never ended up having to buy a pack with real money to complete it. It’s good, challenging fun and I’ve enjoyed that it’s not just completing 50 levels a day and zipping through building a virtual house by the end of a week. My only criticism is rooms that are completed with lightbulbs would benefit from being run for one week as, the requirement for number of lightbulbs can be hinder by a difficult level. Other than that, I recommend this game as a boredom buster..Version: 1.41.0
✓ This game is addictingI got this game in January of 2019, I’ve been playing it nonstop since then. When I usually download games, I play them for a few weeks and then get bored and abandon the app. But this one is really fun. It’s easier to win than other similar games, like candy crush, and the design is more satisfying to look at. I also like that you can do something with the stars you win after each level, by decorating the rooms. It feels like you’re making progress. The game also makes it fairly easy to win unlimited lives for periods of time, so I don’t run into the issue of being out of lives and unable to play. I’m currently on level 3800. I like that the levels don’t necessarily get harder the more you progress, to the point where you’d get stuck. They just introduce new obstacles you have to learn around in the levels. The game keeps everything fresh and fun, and they continually update it so I never run out of levels. This is my favorite game I’ve ever downloaded. Also, each level only takes about two minutes to play before you’re out of moves or you win, so it goes pretty quickly..Version: 1.63.4
✓ Great game but crashes lots (for me)Hello, this is a great game. I’ve passed level 1000 so I clearly enjoy it and keeps me occupied in my spare time; however ever since the “free booster”, “win moves”, “claim rewards” etc. were introduced the game keeps crashing every time I watch an ad. It finishes till the very end and then just before showing my prize it crashes and sends me to my home screen. I don’t get to collect anything. When it’s a small (not so helpful) prize it sometimes comes through. Anyone else experiencing this? Can this be fixed? the frustration of continually watching the same/similar ad only to crash, is enough for me to contemplate deleting the game altogether. ✓ Not updated quick enoughEdit after response. So after having a response & the new update, I have this to say. If you can’t update often enough to meet demand then you should update with more content. After the update, I completed all the ‘decorating’ tasks in one day, I am already on bonus levels again after completing all the levels in the last update, not just me, other members of my team are there too. It would be lovely if you’d consider making bigger updates. End of edit I love this game, have been playing it for a long time now. However, I recently found that I had to wait for new tasks to appear, which they did when the game was updated. I have now reached level 6629 & am stuck playing what you call bonus levels, I assume until you update again. I’m pretty sure though that I’ve played the last 2 levels before, so not bonus levels, repeating levels because you’re too slow to update which is really annoying. More annoying as I’ve recently joined a really proactive team. I have paid for purchases in the past but until there are more ‘normal’ levels consider that to be staying in the past. ✓ Great gameGreat game. Can I suggest that all the different floor and wall coverings be made available for EVERY room in the house. I would have loved to keep the original hallway floor design but was forced to change it and the options I was given were hideous. Wallpaper that is less busy/fussy would be good too. Every wallpaper option for the dining room is just hideous. And every single option clashes with the flooring options. You need some Victorian greens and blues for the walls, no designs, just deep colour). Marble flooring in a range of colours would be great..Version: 1.31.0
✓ Great Game!!!I’m not much into games, but I love this one and I’m very addicted to it! I used to play Gardenscapes which is very similar to this game, but I quickly got tired of not being able to win the matching levels. The games were next to impossible to complete, sometimes took a week to get through just one level and I’d get very frustrated and was always tempted to delete the game. Then the tasks got to be ridiculously redundant, they got to be for very minute details and you’d rarely get the opportunity to landscape the gardens. Isn’t that supposed to be the goal of these types of games? I went on a search for a replacement game and found Matchington Mansion!!! As you go through the levels, they become more of a challenge. Sometimes you can get stuck on a level and it will take a day or so to complete, but they are WIN-ABLE! Some levels are hard, some very hard, but then you also get some relief as a few levels are a bit easier but always a challenge. It’s a perfect combination and I don’t feel frustrated when I’m done playing, and with this game, I always want to come back for more!!! ✓ So addictive but needs an upgradeIm on level 400 and something i just wanna bring up a few things 1. When u watch a video to “double you rewards” u get double the coins but yet only 1 star a star is part of ur reward this should also be doubled 2. The mini ingame quests (snowball fight, racetrack, and future lady) u do these and you get no rewards i recon you should receive bombs and pans ect for what ever level ur on when it finishes. 3. why does it cost 3 stars to do a single renovation and you only get 1 star per game level. Coins are minimal when its 500 to continue or 700 to buy bombs hard to continue when u only get 50 coins max on a good round apart from watching a video u cant get many coins unless u buy. Maybe a video can be 100 coins 4. When u complete a room there is no rewards either weather it be coins or bombs or lives or free play i think this should be thought of im getting to hard stages and its turning me off playing once it gets to hard ill delete it. ✓ Great but ImpossibleI just downloaded this game and I love it but I’m constantly stuck on level 12 ( I know, not that far ). I don’t want to spend any actual money on the play money in the game so I’m finding it hard. Also, I’m playing this game to decorate the mansion and not really to play that little match the colours game. I understand some people will get through levels more quickly than others but as a compromise I think the producers should make it so you get two or three stars per game or more so you can get on with the mansion. I’ve read a load of other helpful reviews on this game and they all say the same thing - the levels are too hard. But they haven’t changed yet. If everyone who agrees that the levels are too hard then writes a review saying about that then I think there is more chance of the producers changing it. Love this game otherwise. ✓ A good challengeDownloaded out of boredom (I was playing another game and adds for this one kept coming up) am now on level 700+ sometimes I’m stuck on a level for days before I pass it! I love the characters, all the puns jack makes and how wet Tiffany is for him etc I wish there was more selection for the flooring and wallpaper just plain flooring or wallpaper would be a nice option. When you start you can get heaps of furniture options from other houses but as you grow in levels this become really hard! Would be nice if the 5 day reward gave new furniture rather than pieces I already have. But overall I enjoy this game..Version: 1.44.3
✓ Love this game!I’ve seen several bad reviews but I genuinely love this little game. So many of the bad reviews complain about the game progression and how if you want to get further along you have to spend real money. My rebuttal to that is GET A LIFE. I do not spend hours on this or all day. I play this in my downtime and love decorating the house. It’s just a fun hobby and nothing I dwell on or take too seriously. Obviously when you get stuck on a level it can be frustrating BUT isn’t that what makes it a challenge? I love the little bonus rooms they do occasionally and the little extra events they host. I even got my husband to play so we can send each these lives. Ha! Recently I have noticed some changes good and bad but no game is perfect. I am loving the new random star bonuses and the ability to have team competitions. The things I haven’t cared for is the change to how many coins you win on levels seems to have decreased which is a bummer but they do gift you coins so I guess it evens out. ✓ BEST GAME EVER!!Not trying to sound like a bot but this is the best no Wi-Fi game I own! It is a little bit laggy on older devices but mine works like a charm. It is so entertaining and fun because you can decorate your mansion however you like and it challenges your brain the harder the puzzles get. Not to mention that you can do short but fun mini games for extra stars so you can upgrade the mansion an extra time including the ones where you have to light a fire. I love this game and I hope you all love it too. Credits to the person who made this game because I love this game and I am so thankful that they made this game. ✓ Love it💕I’ve been playing this game for a while in my spare time. Recently I’ve been finding myself clicking to open the app more often. I like that you can become friends with other people outside of Facebook so you can help each other with lives. Even though I’ve found nothing but joy playing this game I do have one complaint. I think you should claim more coins at the end of a level as things cost quite a few coins but it takes you ages to build your coins back up you’ll complete a level and only leave with 30 coins which is ridiculously low for the amount you have to spend to get extra moves,Power-ups and change furniture designs etc. I also really like that you can visit other houses and collect more furniture designs. ✓ Best game of its classI love this game, it’s the only one that I have kept up with and I’d recommend it to anyone. There are some levels that can be frustrating and sometimes I have to walk away from my phone so that I don’t fling it out the window but that’s part of the fun. Although there is in app purchases, there is absolutely no need to purchase anything; there are lots of opportunities to rack up coins and you get bonuses all the time. It’s not totally easy, it’s challenging at times but I’m over level 1500 so it’s definitely fun. Love the mansion building, you get bonuses and coins for every room furnished. Yea it’s not totally modern but then you’re not going to live on it. Only downside, which has been commented on before, is the short time to complete bonus rooms, sometimes this is hindered by hard levels..Version: 1.68.1
✓ Challenging is funI love this game, I’m past level 2000 which has of course taken me a long time. It’s a match 3 game that keeps introducing new variations and challenges. Sure some levels are very hard but that isn’t a bad thing! Easy is boring. You can earn bombs and coins to help you by passing levels or by watching ads - always your choice whether to watch an ad to get a reward. I have never spent any real money, I’m just persistent! You get one star per level which goes towards decorating your mansion, and there is also a bit of a storyline. Like other players, I wish the difficult levels earned you more than one star, and that you didn’t have to waste stars on answering the door and talking to guests - I wish the storyline bits were free and you just pay stars for decorating. I have joined a guild and also friended other players which means we can all give each other lives - I rarely run out of lives this way and just just play whenever I have a free moment..Version: 1.51.1

✓ What I don’t likeI love everything about this game except there’s a few bits and pieces that annoy me, I have just unlocked the island and noticed that now to buy furniture and all other decor everything is now 2 stars instead of 1 I get the point of it but the games are hard enough as it is, and now having to work extra hard and use 2 stars just to add pot plants is just not needed I much preferred using 1 star for stuff and then jack taking hours to build it instead of using 2 stars and they do it immediately, I get that the point of the game is to get harder as u go along and the better u get but I just don’t agree with everything now costing 2 stars instead of 1 the games take some time to pass so I wish they would change that, the point is to make it harder to do so that u don’t finish the game so quickly I assume but it’s just making me not wanna play it when such small things are costing more now especially when there is so much to do, I only just finished my mansion and I’m on level 1100. Until one day, I thought I’d give the game a go.. and now I’m nearly level 700, I love this game, I play it everyday. ✓ Great game however .....This game is incredibly addictive and I love to play it when I am bored. It is very entertaining and enjoyable to use on a daily basis! There one issue with this app... It is the add for it. On the add it seems to be like you can freely decorate your mansion and when you try the app it seems that as well however when you get on the game you actually have to pass levels to do anything! I don’t mind completing the levels however I think it should be addressed in the add about them because the add makes it look much easier!! Also I would like to make a suggestion to the creator of this app. I think that you should put in a possible way to purchase stars with the coins that you have earned so you can get more stars easier as some levels can be difficult and take more time! ✓ Great game, but needs a lot of improvementGreat game, but very hard to progress through. I feel like getting one star per game completed is extremely frustrating as small, seemingly useless tasks require 2 to 3 stars and you have to complete them in order to continue. However some of the levels are so difficult it takes 10 lives to actually beat it which is ridiculous considering the rewards you actually get. I feel like the system needs a major rethink so that players feel like they are actually progressing in the game instead of being stuck on a level that is almost impossible to beat without power ups. Probably won’t keep playing unless it improves because it seems ridiculous that I’m almost up to level 200 and have only unlocked the library and bedroom as I’m stuck trying to get enough stars to continue. ✓ Good but diluted game playI like the game, I respect how much they allow you to play without trying to force you to buy anything. The only issue I have which is causing me to delete at level 300 is that I want to renovate the home - unfortunately they make you spend your hard earned stars on completely pointless things like playing fetch with the dog. I banked 22 stars and hoped to renovate a new room - every single star went towards throwing some party (hang banners, greet guests). As the levels get harder and stars rarer, this felt like a complete waste of time. ✓ Good for patience and boredomHere’s my experience as a 2 year player. I’m currently at level 6407 and I’ve never spent any money. This is a game to play when you’re bored or want to waste time. Some of the levels are hard, that’s just how it is. Store up your “money,” don’t spend it on easy levels, store up your boosts, get on an ACTIVE team that will continue to gift you lives. I’m on a great team and I always have at least 30+ hearts available in my storage. Sometimes I play a level (no joke) probably 20 times before the algorithm feels bad and helps me win. That’s the most annoying part. The second most annoying is skipping through Tiffany’s dialogue, I just want to spend stars faster so I can focus on play. Sometimes I store up over 99+ stars just playing and then it takes way too long to use them. When you get annoyed, just put the game away and play something else for a little while. My favorite part is the seasonal sets where they give you fun furniture for the lawn of the main house. I have regretfully spent way too much time on here, but I’m still here. I’m too close to the current end to give up now..Version: 1.108.0
✓ Such a fun gameThis game is fun and it’s great to pick up and play when you get a spare 5mins and even better when you get to play and use one of your 1hrs of free lives..... the game is a simple concept but challenging some levels are near to impossible with out purchasing extras to help you but it’s not essential to the game to buy extra moves and lives it all depends on how inpatient you are. My main big bare is when you do get a free award of time like 30mins or 1 hour you have to use it there and then or you lose it. This is not always convenient to play for long periods if you have just signed in to play for a few minutes but you can’t bank the time award so most the time you end up losing it. Be much better if the time was calculated and used when you were logged in and playing then if you need to log out again you can come back to the remaining time. ✓ Love it but often too hard to progressAm really enjoying the game, the banter in the story lines are great and I often get a giggle out of Jacks cheesy puns. My one gripe is it can take days to get past one of the hard levels and my hard earned stars are too easily taken by very minor tasks. The money earned on these really hard levels is minimal and therefore am unable to buy any spoons, brushes or gloves to help pass the levels. Hopefully boredom won’t set in as I spend days trying to make progress because I’d really like to see my mansion completed after all the time I’ve invested through lockdown..Version: 1.65.1
✓ Annoying but fun.It’s a great game don’t get me wrong but it can be very frustrating at times you have to earn multiple stars to do one thing for example: investigate the box for 1 star look for the key to the box 2 stars to do it! Open the box 1 star I mean I know it adds some levels but like couldn’t it just have been find the key an open the box? Ok I’m getting a little bit off track. So any way besides the hard levels and long waits for the lives to regenerate it’s a fun and cool game and I enjoy it. ✓ Friendly and addictiveThis game is addictive enough to have me still playing, yet not all-consuming. You can pick it up and put it down at will. The new inclusion of guilds is a nice touch though they (the guilds) could be more interactive than just a message system and occasional event. Being able to negotiate entry into a more competitive guild would be nice too. I become frustrated at the clashing and often times ugly decorations. Visiting people allows you the opportunity to add friends to exchange lives with while also giving you the ability to pick up some more ugly and clashing furniture. The storyline can be quite funny, in particular the 'band' of monkeys with Gene Simian tickled :-) I mainly play this as a time waster because I enjoy the puzzles rather than decorating the extensive mansion. The levels actually do become more difficult which is refreshing, using my brain is a part of the appeal of gaming for me. Spending now and then can get you over a stuck part if you are determined to win an event prize but it is not necessary to achieve progression with this game. There are plenty of ways to collect enough coin to buy what is required to make it through. All in all this is a 5 star game, I hope you enjoy.Version: 1.55.1

✓ Great Game. One suggestionI LOVE this game. It’s fun remodeling the different places. The story line is fun. I’ve downloaded different games like this and become bored over time, but this one is different. I really like the different side rooms you can do from time to time... this is my one suggestion. On the rooms that expire that you don’t finish building, I think that when there is an active room, if you complete that room, you can go back to previous rooms that you didn’t complete and use the remaining time to finish them. For example, I just completed the Aurora Lodge, but never finished the Secret Beach. I still have a day or so left for the Aurora Lodge, so you should be able to use that remaining time to go back and finish completing the expired rooms. Other than that, I love the game and can’t wait to see the other places on the map. Edited to add, on some other games, the “Hard” levels warrant bigger rewards (more coins, more starts, etc) I think we should get two or three stars for beating the hard levels. Some tasks cost a lot of stars for what they are worth, so earning more stars for harder levels would be nice.Version: 1.60.1
✓ Addictive, fun, no need to payI’ve tried a lot of these match 3 games but this one I’ve stuck with the longest. The regular bonus tasks give you power ups. Easy to refill lives with your team, and share bonuses etc. My only gripe is that some of the team chest competitions are a bit unfair like passing 15 levels; great when you are below level 1000, but not so easy higher, you should get points based on difficulty or compete against similar levels. Also, when you run out of lives can you please add the option to use your free lives you friends have sent instead of ‘ask friends’ or buy for 400. I always get stuck on racing/team challenges and as soon as they end I fly through 20 levels. It seems a tad fixed as if I’m stuck and don’t play for 2 days as soon as I return I’ll pass the level with loads of moves left lol. But it’s cool, one of the best of these types around, you really don’t have to pay to progress, I’m level 1700 now and don’t spend money..Version: 1.83.0
✓ Great game!I’ve been playing this now for over a year now and have loved it, but I’m now at level 4554 and on bonus levels, that I don’t mind but the bonus levels are constantly repeated so have a lot of the same games over and over which is rather annoying, you don’t really get a lot for completing a bonus level which makes it very boring, I think personally when on bonus levels we should have the option to complete a bonus room we didn’t get chance to finish, I think that will make the game more enjoyable for the people who are waiting for an update for more levels. I do find after every update it only takes me a day or two to complete all the new levels so I’m soon back on bonus levels again, I love this game but think it would be perfect if we were able to complete uncomplicated bonus rooms when on the bonus levels..Version: 1.66.0

✓ Matching Mansion ReviewI love love love this game. As I am new it is hard to find all the right things to do and match everything completely correctly but I am slowly but surely getting the hang of things. I renovated a mansion so perfect it was fit for a princess (or me!!!) I would proudly give this game a 5 star review. Even though I am new to the word of Matching Mansion as I mentioned above, I am totally addicted to it and whenever my phone runs out of battery I am straight to the charger so I can continue playing. You should 100% download this game as I promise you you will adore it just like me. My only criticism is that maybe you could add some more features and maybe let us design some things but other than that perfect in every way. ✓ Great gameHi, everyone who is looking through these reviews, please listen to what I have to say. I’m at level 147. Coming up to this I have had some levels which require more than a little bit of effort. Though at times I found them tricky, I always kept going knowing, I would be rewarded at the end. And I am. What keeps me going is a friend. Not someone I know in real life just somone who I requested to be friends with. She used to be at level 42 with me now she is past 1780. It is amazing. It just shows every level is possible and that’s what keeps me going. I enjoy going on and seeing her having sent me some lives. ✓ My favourite match 3 gameI have played all of the popular match 3 games like Homescapes and the Willy Wonka Factory one but I definitely prefer this style of match 3 game over them. What I really love is that when you set off a special bomb, and it crosses paths with another special bomb (eg the rainbow colour explode ball), it doesn’t set the other bomb off. This is great when you have a couple special bombs lined up and don’t want them to set off at the same time. I also really like the difficulty level of this game. Some people complain that it is too hard but I enjoy the challenge. It really just depends on what kind of gameplay you enjoy. If you prefer a game where you are racing through the levels, this probably isn’t for you. The only thing letting this game down is the lack of good design options. As always, you get a choice of three designs for each feature (sofa, lamp etc) but I really do not ever like any of the three options. This doesn’t take away from the game as I can look past this, but I can understand this would be an issue for some. ✓ Game’s fun but could have improvementsI love the game and the good thing about it is it’s so addicting I’m nearly at level 200 (which I know I haven’t done much) but I enjoy it so much. Sometimes too challenging but I guess that’s just the aim of the game. The concept of this game is amazing sometimes I think there’s to much going on but that’s fine. The annoying thing is once you get stuck on a level it’s really hard to pass and most of the time I don’t have 500 coins to give me an extra 5 moves. Anyway, another good thing about the game is I once deleted it then a year later or so I went back in and it had saved all my progress! One other thing is before I ever got the game you would see the ads saying oh you have to put the fire out or stop the bathroom from flooding or something along those lines but really I got the game and none of that happened. ✓ Just to answer some of the other complaining reviewsI have finished all levels and am waiting for the developers to develop more, so the levels can’t be that hard as I have done them all. Yes some are harder than others and take more tries to complete but the answer is usually to use the mega blaster pieces (not sure what they’re actually called) and you’ll get there. The answer to those who say they don’t have enough lives - visit other mansions and make friends with people, you’ll be able to send each other lots of lives. Also when you visit you can pick up other pieces of furniture from other mansions, so if you’re not happy with the choice you’re given to decorate your mansion, you can redesign as you go through. I have not spent any money on the game at all, but have watched many many adverts, which I do not mind as they have to make their money somehow!.Version: 1.33.0

✓ Very fun!I’ve been playing this game for years. It’s a great and fun game. Very time consuming, beautiful graphics and love the story. You do have to spend money if you want certain animals, clothes or items for the mansion. Overall, I really do like this game a lot. My only issues I have with it is the crashes. If I’m in the middle of a level and I get a phone call, put the phone down and it goes to sleep or I close the phone myself. It could be a minute, 10 minutes or an hour. When I go back to finish the level. Half the time it reloads and pops up the purple screen. Then I lose everything. The x3, mega ball, all the perks to help pass the level. Everything. Then I have to start all over again. It can get irritating for sure. I also don’t think you give enough time to collect the hearts for the future. Since you have added that in. I’ve only been able to collect one full set of furniture. It would be nice to have just a bit more time to collect or maybe the amount of hearts to collect can go down. ✓ Long time FanI’ve been playing this game for ages obviously in between looking after my kids and doing every other job I have in the day .But this game is my calming place, it chills me out , while occupying my mind from day to day stresses. I particularly enjoy exploring other friends mansions and decoration ideas. I don’t agree that there is not enough styles to choose from as if you explore other people’s Mansions you often collect the furniture they have found , therefore gaining more variety , I do agree some levels are hard , but just take that little bit more patience and effort which is no problem really as I’m stubborn and very determined . ✓ The good, the bad, and the uglyThe game as a whole is fun and enjoyable. Yes, the higher you get the more frustrating the games become. That is expected though and if you have patience you don’t have to buy additional help, which allows people with limited resources to still play and advance. Allowing for prizes without buying tickets in special events is really good. I dislike the the hotch potch decor options. Some have decorating potential but most, especially fixed furniture, are ugly. The ‘new’ discovered island is just a smaller version of the main mansion, nothing different in decorating, gardening or mysteries. Truthfully only the match threes are not boring in the side game. Summary - match three games are great; prizes and not forcing purchases is really appreciated; decor pieces and celebration events pieces are good for kids but not older people, I try to avoid as much as possible. Frustrating? Get Jack to be not such a schmuck! And a few changes of clothes for our wholesome decorator (without trudging through a near impossible quest) would be incentivising. ✓ Splendid Darling!It's a great game. I've been playing it since 6th grade and I recently picked it up again after a month or so of a break. It's a great game and I enjoy being able to redecorate for holidays! It's a great game with NO ADS. I have never once had an ad and I'm so grateful for that cause ads are SO annoying as in sure many of you can agree. There are next to no bugs or lagging. The only thing is the animation of the pets moving around the mansion but it honestly doesn't really bother me. I recently went on a road trip with long drives and played this game during the drives. It was super helpful that I got an hour or more of infinity hearts and was just playing levels and designing. I would perhaps suggest making a mini-game of sorts for players when they run out of hearts. Perhaps they spot the difference? Or I love those games where it's like a puzzle with walls or keys. Its be even more helpful if you could earn stars by doing those but I feel like that would be too easy. As the Speldid Speldid review states the game would be boring if it was easy. ✓ Fun but frustratingDear developer, It is a great game! I love it! With the side quests and the special events. And I really love the designs that you can choose. It has fun challenging puzzles and exiting team events. BUT! This game sometimes gets too challenging. It’s okay if it is fun and challenging but it is sometimes FRUSTRATING and challenging. There are a lot of times when I get stuck on a level for WEEKS! SOMETIME MONTHS! And to finish one room you need to use about 30-40 stars! And then you only get 1 Star for completing each level. And if u get stuck on a level then what can u do in this game? NOTHING. And if u watch an add to double the rewards it wont double the stars. ✓ Getting thereI’ve been playing about 4 months now and it is so addictive. However I’d do agree with some comments made by others. Furniture doesn’t match and gets replaced without me wanting it to. My only other issue is that occasionally I win time. I would prefer this to be able to be stored for a later time rather than having to use it straight away as sometimes I have to leave it to do other things such as go to work etc. and end up losing it. Maybe I’m doing something wrong and this can be done I don’t know. The other issue is that I get to the end of a level and need only one move to complete but have to use a whole 500 coins. I know the makers are trying to get people to buy extra coins etc. But could you not do 100 coins per move. ✓ Yes, yes splendid 👏Mk, so a lot of people might be saying this is a money user. But.. I’ve never spent a single penny and I’d say im doing pretty amazing. The levels may be hard and challenging but would you really like it if it was just easy? I feel like there wouldn’t be a purpose to it, and it would get boring. It’s pretty engaging even though I have no clue if there’s an ending 😂. I would like if you could make and customize your own character. There have literally been almost no ads. I enjoy decorating the mansion as well as playing the levels, I’m currently on level 350 and there are some really challenging levels that sometimes require a few goes, but I enjoy that the game isn’t too easy. There is soooo much to do in the game, it has a good story line and things to work for. I love that there are new updates and mini challenges regularly, so it keeps the game rewarding and exciting. My only minor negative about the game is I don’t like spending multiple stars on a small task, having some of the side tasks cost less stars would allow me to be able to play the storyline and decorating side more. ✓ Game good but the rest is cheesyThe game itself is great but addictive! The commentary and language is sickly sweet and annoying, but if you can get past that it’s tolerable. There aren’t much for earning capacity or usage of boosters compared to Homescapes or Pet Rescue but you can get by in patience and without having to spend $. Way better than candy crush (ugh too busy). The characters are annoying, the design options only give you 3 options (none of which are ideal) and it looks nothing like the ads present. BUT, the language and characters are clean and safe for kids, and overall it’s great I’d recommend it. I’ve not spent $ and I’m on level 600+ which I think is pretty good in the scheme of things. ✓ New PlayerI am new to the game so have not yet grasped all the techniques. Getting there though. Took me a while to master removing the letters as I missed the explanation and did not seem able to go back. Got it eventually. Sometimes the levels can take a while for everything to fall into place but that is no different from many other games. I imagine the developers do not want you to go through too quickly which is fair enough. The game is free after all. I do agree with many others that the colours of furnishings, and patterns available are not all that attractive and having chosen one colour to start it is annoying to find that when matching another item there is nothing that works. I would like to go back and change my start colour in the bedroom for example as the new items do not match or contrast well - after all it is a Matchington Mansion - the name sends out a clue!!! I also preferred the picture I chose in the drawing room but it has been replaced with one the game chose. Not bad so far though. I am enjoying it. We have been DISAPPOINTED TWICE now because a special event room has closed before we could finish it ... one time it LITERALLY closed as I was working the game and had ONE piece of furniture left to finish... game designers said they would have an event to reopen unfinished specials... have seen NOTHING as such so far... during the event have spent ALOT of money trying to finish because it’s so FAST and seems those purple HARD LEVELS come more and more as you truly progress in the game... maybe make true to their word? Have a special to reopen those extras? Love the game... enjoy it with my son ... but how about making it fair and extending the specials time a bit? ✓ Same old same old- not what the ads showLike some have said, the ad does not match the game. It’s bejeweled, candy crush etc all over again. Spending days just to get past level 43 or 46 is not fun. You can’t choose to go from room to room to “decorate” here and there but are stuck in one room for weeks trying to get past the puzzle which doesn’t vary much in its form and goal. It’s frustrating and boring at the same time. The amount of coins 500 you spend to continue to defeat a level is ridiculous. Makes other games 70 coins seem like a bargain! I thought this would be different and fun but will be deleting it. The “redecorating” process is so slow with some tasks that are irrelevant and make no sense in context to the game. I decided to keep playing to see if it got better. It has not. They have side games so you can earn extra points. However it makes you play the same game as the decorating one. It may let you win one level of the side game but then never enough to win that prize the side level offers. I have yet to win a prize on any side games. I get that it’s supposed to be challenging, but sometimes it takes me close to a week to pass a level. ✓ It CAN be done without spending money!I had decided to try this game, because it seemed like it could be healthy competition for “Word Villas” (which I’m already well into, but please don’t hate me for that). It was a good start & I was so glad that I could choose the name of the white cat, as I had a white rabbit named Tardis, who is sadly no longer with me (& naming the cat Tardis is a small comfort, despite how silly it seems). I then reached the harder puzzles in the bedroom & I was worried I’d have to spend a small amount of real money to purchase extra time, as I lost coins all too quickly. But luckily for me, I decided to leave it a while & try again later ... & (after a few tries); I finally won, without even having to use my last remaining “help tokens”. So, fellow players; it just takes a lot of time, patience & persistence. Eventually, you will beat those trickier levels. So, yeah; definitely now a new favourite, alongside “Word Villas” & will keep me busy for a very long time! ☺️💕👍.Version: 1.59.1
✓ Best game ever!So I am on about level 200 and I am loving it! I have no complaints, my friend suggested this game to me and I have loved it ever since! I really like how you can customise the rooms to your liking and if you don’t feel like it you can always change it. I also really enjoy that there is ALWAYS a limited time event however I do wish they changed it so then it’s not always the same one and also it is really good how you can go into party’s and request for lives if you have ran out, one thing that I would like to change is maybe jack could work a bit quicker because he took 24 hours to build a fire place and at that time I have 7 hours of unlimited lives, other than all of this it is the best game ever, I totally recommend it!.Version: 1.52.0
✓ Addictive, funny and challenging.The game is ace and addictive. The levels are challenging, but achievable with the vast amount of ways the game makers have included to help the player accomplish this... a variety of pieces to the board that require different ways to wipe them off the grid and a bank of well thought out rewards and tasks that have their own storyline behind them to earn that help. The reason I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the part of the game that features a distraction from time to time in the form of decorating a new room. It’s too hard! You have to complete levels to get the lightbulbs to afford the decorating. If you don’t finish in time, you lose the room and if you don’t complete the level you lose the bulbs! For the main game, earning the stars to complete the mansion is great, but when it has to be within time limitations, makes it impossible if you get stuck on a level. My suggestion for that bit would be to keep the lightbulbs you earn regardless of winning the level or not, but still losing the regular items for the ordinary game level. Like I said, it’s addictive and I don’t think I’ve missed claiming the fifth day reward since I started playing. ✓ Fun with a side of frustrationThis game is addicting, even though it is nothing like the ad that I originally downloaded for. I really appreciate and like this game because I don’t have to spend money to get full gameplay. Instead, you can watch ads for extra rewards, which is much fairer. Another upside is there is almost always a different event to earn more rewards as you play, without spending any money. My biggest complaint is really the storyline and the stars. Each level earns you one star and each room takes dozens of stars to complete, but only because of the very many side tasks. The game isn’t just about redoing the mansion, you also have to earn 25+ stars to greet a guest, hear what the guest has to say, do one part of what the guest wants, do three more parts, speak to them again, and wait 12 hours until the task is complete. It only feels like, and probably is, so that you wouldn’t finish the game so quickly if you were only earning stars to fix the mansion. ✓ Love itI live this game, I have been playing for 4 years straight and is the only game I’ve kept, (I get bored of games easy) I love that there is so much to it, and watching a video for 2 extra moves always helps, you get plenty of power ups to help you through the levels, I have favourite and worse levels, such as the levels with the stones you can only break with a bomb or rocket, they’re hard! After completing a level in one go you start the next with either a bomb, rocket or Color power up, and an extra is added the more levels you complete in a row and it really helps when you get on a role! You only get 5 lives but with all the extras to the game you get free 1hr lives or 5, or 10 mins free, I’ve ended up with 5 hours free lives 1 time, which I didn’t get to use the full 5 hours like, maybe 20 mins of it😅 I love playing this game when chilling or kids napping , thanks for the enjoyment for 4 years, still going strong :) !.Version: 1.123.0
✓ Good game but too much contentI love this game, it has so much content to last you for years honestly, however every time I launch the app it feels like all i’m doing is closing all of the pop up side quests for like 30 seconds straight. You launch and there’s 3 different events going on which makes pop ups that you have to close one after the other, 84 packets of furniture to download, once you play 1 level after that level it brings up 3 more pop ups of side events going on and it’s very frustrating. The game itself is great, I love the premise but jesus christ there is too much content going on at one time. It’s frustrating to have to close so many pop up windows of content that I dont really care about at all because its always just repeats of old events just to get to the actual game. When I first started playing I was hooked on the game but then slowly started losing interest because every time I go to launch the game I get a feeling of dread knowing I have to sit there for 30 seconds just closing pop up windows..Version: 1.81.2
✓ So much more than just a puzzle game!I normally don’t write reviews, but after it kept asking if I would like to rate and support them, I considered it because I realized I’m on the game more than I would like to admit, lol. This game is so much fun, and I love to play when I have a day off and need to rest. It keeps you entertained by having a little bit of everything in the game for you. I love the puzzles, I love how I get to decorate my own mansion and gardens, and the story is quite cute, and very family friendly. I have to say how I absolutely love that you have events that you can play every day, and earn extra lives and extra tools you need to get by certain levels. None of that ‘you have to pay to get passed this level’ stuff in this game! That is what drives me away from most games like these. Overall I gave it 5 stars because of every little piece the developers put into the gameplay, you can even earn extra furniture/plants/rugs/etc. by just visiting your friends mansions and adding to your collection. ✓ You must have steel nerves to play this game.This game is designed to force you to pay $$$ for useless coins and power ups that supposed to help you to pass some levels. I haven’t spend any $$$ and I am already on level 574. I kept playing some levels over and over and two or three days later program allowed me to win. All you need is patience. If you can’t beat the level leave it, come back later and eventually you’ll do it. Also, never spend golden coins, pretend they don’t exist, just make bunch of friends and ask them for lives, watch advertisements, use bonuses like infinity lives when they available. If you completely out of lives just take a break, remember to be patient. I do agree that scenarios can be absolutely idiotic and you can spend bunch of stars for just greeting guests, or playing with pets but the game is still interesting and worth playing couple of times a day. The last thing I want to say that I would only spend my money when the golden stars would be available for sale! I don’t understand why developers can’t do that, for example $9.99 for 100 golden stars:) at least once in a while, like New Years special or something..Version: 1.32.0
✓ Extremely expensive but...I simply can’t resist this game. When I’m not saving up for a rainy day to blow some cash, this is for me a fun and relaxing game. I enjoy not only the puzzles but being able to unlock rooms and decorate and the fun with Ravi! I would suggest that those who reach above a certain level can have the packages to chose from at a reduced price each time. That we could have more chances to unlock levels when we can’t afford to play with the points. Also regular weekly games where the top amount win extra lives and or items. I do like the new wheel of fortune but I think us the regular loyal players should have this constantly. We should have our own inboxes for friends for everyone over 18. We do deserve more for our money. Yes, I am an insomniac, but what we pay for doesn’t last long enough. ✓ Tasks equalThis is a really fun game! I like the people who stop through for help and gifting to liven up the story and it’s cool that the interior designer is there to move things along and make suggestions. She does sometimes, wander around without a purpose, or a clear vision. It feels that the tasks only arrive when she makes a suggestion. Is there a way to buy stars with coins, and replay a level for say 100 coins, not 500? Sometimes, the matching levels take a lot of tries for only one star and one can really wipe through their coins for remodels and projects. Maybe open rooms more often? Also, the concept of the cat is nice, but so far, it gets more coins than the house, while the house is waiting to be repaired. One coin, not three should lure the cat out of the armor, or give it a bath. For that matter, one coin should be the price for every task, except for greeting neighbors—that should be free. Also, how cool would it be if the food items and furniture that appears at the top right of the shape-matching levels, are “set up” in some of the unopened rooms? A little motivation for when we start renovating those spaces, something familiar to look forward to. And the interior designer can even mention that she “put them in the mansion for later.” This game has all the foundational makings of a hit..Version: 1.34.1

✓ So AddictiveI have been playing Matchington for at least three years now. So I am of course on a very high level, 3000 and something but that’s not the point. This game is crazy addictive! The only issue I have is that you only get 1 star for each level, which is frustrating. But the rest of the game is amazing! I love the stories and I love helping Tiffany on her journey, this game inspires me. It makes me want to write books, paint, draw pretty much do A LOT of art. I really like being on teams and choosing different furniture to decorate your mansion. I love how the game has the ability to send lives, observe other people’s mansions and we can achieve new furniture on the way. My most favourite thing about this game is that the story is never ending. After you decorate the mansion, Tiffany has a whole other story to accomplish. I also love how the levels are challenging to boost my resilience to keep trying again and again. I am obsessed with this game and it’s my favourite game at the moment. ✓ Improvements have been made but I still have issuesI’ve reviewed before & issues I previously voiced seem to have been fixed (multi-bomb effectiveness). I’ve been playing this game for a LONG time. My main gripe now is the level of reward given for winning games and achieving challenges and the disproportionate amount needed to claim bonuses and special giveaways. I have NEVER been able to complete one of the limited time decoration giveaways - I would be having to play every day for hours to have a chance and that just isn’t a realistic option. A small improvement would be to have extra rewards for winning “hard” levels and to simply reduce the number of “coupons” needed to attain decorations in the limited time challenges. It makes it more fun and more engaging when you feel justly rewarded for winning. I’m not going to spend money to get more rewards - I don’t spend money on any of the games I play. Making free rewards more plentiful and easier to achieve would definitely hold my interest more.Version: 1.140.0

It’s a bit of everything: puzzles, creativity, and it isn’t too addictive so you’re not stuck to your phone all day long “Trying to complete a level” (which I have experienced in previous games). It is very intriguing in the bit about the diary that you find in the bedroom because you want to find out more. My only criticism is the fact that you have the option to pay. I mean, games should be free! I don’t get any more enjoyment out of a game that I have payed for than a free game. ✓ BEST GAME - JOIN MY TEAM * MAGIC MISFITS*Really fun game, highly recommended. The best part is that it’s not that hard, they’re very straight forward levels. I prefer this game over other puzzle games as you get rewarded through building your mansion... But it doesn’t stop there, once you finish your mansion you can continue onto your whole island which is full of beachside hotels, holidays on the slopes and much more.
