✓ Amazing but needs notes!I love love love this app. It’s amazing it allows to me read my bible in an informative and indepth way comfortably on the go. But it NEEDS NOTES! you cannot claim this app to be a digital extension of a study bible without bookmarks, highlights, and notes!.Version: 3.4

✓ Giant print NLT, avoid itThe App does not work with this edition. Yet, it says “filament enabled” on the intro page. Contacting them by email has brought no response for several weeks. The app does not recognize the page numbers in this edition. I’m exceedingly disappointed. And would not recommend this edition of filament Bible, unless you just need the printed word, the rest that is promised is not accessible and there is no help available. Bummer!.Version: 3.4.2
✓ Over played videosI really like the concept that the filament app has, but am questioning the claim that it has 350+ videos. Are there legit 350+ different videos? Because I’m finding on numerous accounts that many of the videos will be reused in other books, such as seeing some of the same videos played in Genesis, Daniel and Revelation, and more often than not, just one video will be reused in each chapter od the same book. Are those repeated videos being counted as part of the 350? I find this happens more often than not in the meatier books, the more touchy subject books, and it seems that the videos offered in these books are kind of dumbed down as to not upset or trigger someone who may or may not agree. So many teachable moments to be touched on, I hope to see that more videos are offered in the future that actually coincide with the particular chapters of the book..Version: 2.5.2
✓ Huge drain on batteryI installed the Filament app a week ago and for the past week have been surprised to find my my iPhone 14 Pro Max’s battery almost entirely flat by 5pm. This evening I checked the Battery settings in the Settings app and found that Filament has used 68% of my battery *in the background* doing nothing. The app itself is okay but not if it kills my battery entirely when I’m not even using it. Uninstalled now..Version: 3.2.1
✓ V3.0 Page Scanning Still Needs WorkExcellent content & nice update, but page scanning on my iPad mini 4 STILL doesn’t work, with v3.0. Fix this & I’ll increase to 5 stars. Also would be useful to read the text next to the study notes (when I only have my iPad), and ability to take notes & leave bookmarks..Version: 3.0

✓ Good, but…Unless I’m missing something, this app doesn’t include a way to search for particular words in scripture, like a concordance does. Often, I want to find a passage & I know a key word or 2. With a concordance, I can look up the word & have several options of places to look. I have been unable to do that with this app. I looked at the tutorial, but didn’t find a way to search. If there is a way to do a word search, please respond. Otherwise, the app is very helpful. ✓ Great but....I reviewed this app a while ago. Changed to one star this time. The app has been updated since my last review but still no reader view. Why have you not upgraded the text color, size option or provided a dark setting. The print is really small and hard to read. Very disappointing that you don’t care about older readers. I love the app but why not make it easier to read. Provide a readers version or make the print contrast better. Gray print on white is too hard to see..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Great concept butI really like the concept using the app and bible together and really hope it stays around. My only reason for not giving higher rating is the app doesn’t read the page number correctly. It usually takes 3 or 4 tries before reading the correct page number. But once it does, love it. ✓ Needs improvementsHonestly, I love the concept of the app. My major gripe with the app is that there is no way to search for a passage. I HAVE to use the camera to scan my physical bible. But if I don’t have my bible with me then there is no way for me to go directly to a specific passage of scripture. ✓ Big bug problemI absolutely love my filament Bible and the app but I’ve been having issues with the app where when I scan a page and look at the videos there’s a glitch. When I scroll through the videos it glitches and takes me back to the top of the options of the video selection. So anything that isn’t on top I cannot watch now. Please fix this bug so I can watch the materials I’m supposed to be able to when I bought this Bible. Thank you so much..Version: 2.6.3
