✓ Haven’t came across a better cameraI can always check up on my house when I'm on the go. And i love how it’s magnetic, I can put my cam on any metal surface, that’s very nifty i love that idea. I only know one other brand that has a cam like this one. Also, it’s very affordable.. this is way cheaper and has just about the same quality as the other ones similar to this style. ✓ Satisfied CustomerI own a total of 5 Momentum cameras for over 2 years and they are still working great. After reading other reviews I can’t understand the problems they’re having. You have to have a good WiFi signal that’s the main thing but that’s true with connecting any device. Setup is fairly simple and once you set the rules the notifications start alerting. It’s one of the easiest security cameras to setup and operate on the market..Version: 2.0.0
✓ MomentumI do really like this cameras that I’ve set up to cover the front of my house and the back yard because it’s nice knowing who pulls up to your house and to go be able to even view it when you are not home And mainly I have a bull stafford and she is the most nicest puppy and I have had her for a few years and she is always wanting attention and to be loved on and everyone else in our neighborhood she has more friends than I do because she runs to them and is always excited about getting attention and with this app and camera I can keep a eye on her when I let her out on her dog line! And I am glad that I have this because I have seen a couple of different people and I feel like they both was trying to steal my dog and that is when I call her to come back inside the house.Version: 1.13.6
✓ So far, so goodOut of the box easy to set up. Great picture both day and night. Two-way audio very good. I was even able to set up the camera and then unplug it and move it. Once plugged back in it picked up the connection and worked great in the new location. I bought to watch the kids and the livestream allows me to do that and communicate with them as well. I haven’t tried the recording or notification features yet. so I cannot comment on how they work at this time..Version: 1.1.13
✓ PTSD Veteran gets peace of mindI would never have thought that I could purchase a decent surveillance camera for under $50, and have it monitor my home, live with audio feed capability for $5!!! But, folks, let me assure you Momentum has it and it is unbelievably clear picture can appear on my phone when I am even out of state. I have ptsd and to me, this means everything! I don’t have to worry about walking into a burglary in progress or any other dangerous situation because, I’m never away from home with my Momentum surveillance!!.Version: 1.5.13
✓ Recommendable Product Love NoteThe name of the company makes perfect sense to me, its (Momentum), because sometimes things happen in our daily lives that cause us as humans to lose our very own Momentum trying to recover! With these cameras working hand and hand with the simple app on my smartphone, (pictures quality is A#1) If any of these life altering things happen around the exterior of my home I have the advantage of 2 new family members that keep there eyes peeled 24/7 with the tv show always playing on my phone 😎 I am not currently a paid spokesperson for the above Momentum Security Camera Co. but probably should be! 🙃❤️.Version: 2.3.0
✓ HorribleThis was a waste of money I am looking for The developer of this horrible device to reach out to me! I am a single parent and bought it for security reasons $40 May not be Nothing to your company But I have never been more disappointed in purchasing a security device for my own safety. For my own pride I purchased it just for a cheap device to monitor some things and now looking back I wish I would have put my reasons aside and asked the family member I have that literally knows everything and anything regarding electronics. This is so horrible that I’m too embarrassed to even let them know I purchased it. I purchased it at Walmart and if I do not hear from the developer soon I will try to return it to Walmart without the box in the receipt I did not know that there could be a item out there that made it this far that Unhelpful and a waste of money. And it wasn’t even $40 it was $40 and some change with tags so we’re looking about $45. I am a Google reviewer. And a blogger and I am never said this before but I will go over and beyond to let everybody know what a joke this item is. Seeing all the negative reviews I kick myself for not even researching because there’s not a thing I buy that I don’t research I just needed some kind of security quickly like most people do if I had three or $400 I would buy security system that worked properly!.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Security at its finestI bought a few of these cameras and was a little skeptical at first because of how cheap they were. I’m utterly dumbfounded by the quality of picture and sound. I love that you can set rules and it will notify you if the rules are broken. Such as set one of the cameras to notify you of movement between 6am and 9pm while your at work. Notification comes in and I can watch what happened to set it off. Then watch a live view if I want. Overall for the price I would give these cameras and the app a 8 out of 5..Version: 1.5.13
✓ Simply Amazing, I am very impressedTake it from a guy that barely knows how to use a screwdriver to screw a screw: the installation of the video cam IS EASY! And the quality is superb. The cables to hook up to the garage opener is self explanatory, within 15 minutes I could remotely control opening or closing my garage door which is so cool since I would constantly wonder if I closed it or not after I leave my house and would drive back to verify. Not anymore with this system! I rate it 10/10 and I’m not getting paid for this review!.Version: 2.3.0
✓ Above expectationsThe price of this device led me to believe that there would probably be some issues. I had read a ton of review some good and some bad but I figured I’d give it a shot since it was so cheap. I use it at my house to keep an eye on my dog while I’m at work. I can listen in to hear if she’s barking or crying and call my dad to go over and check on her. I’m thinking of getting a second one and giving her a little more of the house to roam! 10/10 would recommend. Glad I took the risk!.Version: 1.8.5
✓ Prepare to experience App crashesI’ve been using this App for a few years and although when it works, everything is fine, most of the time, the App just crashes. Sometimes you can get in and use it, but over-all it is so unreliable, it is down right criminal to release this App as is. Can you imagine what kind of security you get if the guard may or may not show up to work? That’s what you are paying for with this product and their app..Version: 1.15.0
✓ GreatFirst and foremost for the price I couldn't ask for more. Easy to use app, clear picture light and dark no problem streaming even off Wi-Fi. The only down sides to it are: that storage is local unless you get the cloud. Which I wish they had a 24 hr plan I never need it for more then that.. It's indoors only... The app rules setting doesn't have a pause button that I know off have to delete it anytime you're there and don't want to be recorded and then hopefully remember to set it again. Or unplug it like I do and forget to plug it back in. I have recommended them to others and plan to even get more soon..Version: 1.0.74
✓ I can’t hear the volume from the appThe live video works fine but I can not hear the sound when watching it from my phone; which is not in silent mode. I just hear static when watching the live videos. Calling customer service to get technical support is not so great either. You really get what you pay for at the price of $45 for the wireless 720 version. Good luck with this camera if you get it because it is not that great when it comes to 2-way sound communication..Version: 1.2.37
✓ Momentum cameraBought this after I child I know passed away at the babysitters house while in a playpen. I too watch babies and was a nervous wreck! I grabbed this camera at wal mart. It was very inexpensive and was so easy to set up! I can check in on my napping babies all the time! Picture and sound are great! I can talk to my baby if needed. The app for the camera is incredibly easy! I logged on when out of town and could see my housekeeper had arrived. I can talk to my own kiddo and see him when I’m gone. It’s a GREAT PRODUCT and I am more than happy to give it 5 stars. Highly suggest this camera!.Version: 1.0.74
✓ AwesomeBest money I ever spent. Super easy set up. I have cameras at up at several different locations and I can view anywhere from my cell. I don’t permanently fix them so I can turn them on my cats to monitor when I’m away and talk to them. I can activate by motion or sound or both. I was even able to set one in an attic space to determine how squirrels were getting into my attic. So handy and the applications are endless..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Good camera but limited featuresI’ve been using this item for almost a year and install prior to kid’s new school year. It sends me an alert when the garage camera senses motion so I know when my kids are home when they open the garage door. I also have a Ring camera at my entrance to get alerted when someone approaches our entrance. Good for monitoring when kids are home while I’m at work. I can also check if garage door is left open and can close remotely. This has helped on several occasions. No more having to drive back home to close the garage door. Feature have some limitations. Like I can’t snooze sound alerts like other cameras if I know my kids are playing in the garage or outside. Don’t have to be notified every 5 mins when I’m home and I know where kids are. I have to go to my IPhone notifications setting to turn off audible alerts manually then have remember to go back and turn auto audible alerts later. So that’s my work around. Overall a good product and would recommend it. Just be aware this device doesn’t work with some brand garage door openers if they use high encryption with your door remote. Check out their list of compatible garage door openers on their website. I’ve known some folks who had to return the product due to this limitation as well..Version: 1.13.6
✓ New 01Oct2020 version much betterStruggled with the old app for some time. Lots of bugs. The new app downloaded today 01Oct2020 is much better. Even though there are still some bugs, but those are the ones the cameras are picking up crawling on the window. Haven’t found any in the app yet. Did find the nighttime (IR) setting back on auto, and I changed it back to off for those cameras which are pointing through a window. Much better not using the sliders for sensitivity. Works correctly on iPhone and iPad. 👍.Version: 2.0.0
✓ Great Customer ServiceI had issues pairing my Robbi camera to my wifi after numerous attempts and troubleshooting steps. Albert with customer support replaced my camera without hesitation. This is excellent customer service! I have two other Momentum devices that are easy to use and were extremely affordable. It’s so relieving to be able to check on my animals when I’m not home and to have protection for my home!.Version: 2.0.2
✓ 1st Garage Cam. For Ages 4 and upNice quality product. Was EZ to install on my Masterlift opener. Video is very clear and works well. A lot of the times if you switch between Wi-Fi and cellular you need to restart the app. After that it works. I didn’t have the video time out, not sure if there is a time limit. The sound is super clear and sensitive. Picks up every sound including two way audio. It sends notification very quickly and saves the events in the cloud. You can easily create rules to record events. The video and audio are very sensitive. I don’t see a browser access to the system only via an app. The web access only has the account information. I do like the ability to check the door video remotely to verify the door is closed via the Internet. The night vision works very well switching between light and dark automatically..Version: 1.15.0
✓ Great except....The app is great except every once in a while the camera goes offline for some reason and the app doesn’t really help to troubleshoot and fix. I turn the camera off and on about 5-10 times, restart my router and even restart my “hub” (even though it has nothing to do with it.... just in case) I just have to wait until it decides to work again which can take up to a month or so to which it does absolutely nothing to help protect my property. ✓ Best everIf you need to watch your home then this is the best one to get. You can pull up any camera at any time to see who is co I got or going while you are away also you can listen to what they are talking about before you go to the door or answer them to let them know that you are not home. Also I have recovered so many wrecks at the end of my driveway that it has helped with the cops to see who was at fault and who was the one that was driving to fast. ✓ CoriI purchased this product today. It was easy to set up at first. I decided to redo my dashboard. Resetting the cameras took some tries to reset. After 30 of resetting the camera, they finally reset and I set up my dashboard the way I wanted. The instructions aren’t the best. I read various reviews about these cameras. The colors are good. In order to get the full view of my living room , I had to turn my phone sideways. The audio is not bad. I can’t wait to see what it looks like at night. I did not purchase the cloud storage and I forgot to purchase the SD card. Over all not bad for the price I paid..Version: 1.8.5
✓ Love this cameraThe sound quality is amazing, and the picture is very good as well. I wish they still sold them at the Walmart in price. I also wish you could add 2 people to the camera to manage it. And that it would do continuous recording. Instead of just catching motion, and I wish the sound option was still available to record a video and send a notification. This is definitely only an indoor camera, the one I have, which is an axle. I had 2 of them and put one outside and that didn’t last long but the other one I’ve had for almost 2-3 yrs. and it’s worked wonderfully..Version: 2.0.2
✓ Momentum cameraI love it , I bought the camera for my bunny rabbit so I could check on her when I am not at home , she has a huge cage area for when I am not home and can run around the living room, this way I know she is safe. My daughter loves the camera because we all have the apps on our phones and she likes to check for me and can talk to me thru the camera. Picture is very clear and night vision works great.
