TerribleCustomer service is a joke. The app doesn’t allow me to choose am or pm. I want to have the flood light turn on at 6 pm but it won’t let me go past 2 pm, and the shut off allows up to 11:59 pm, won’t let me turn off during am. For some reason the light turns on at dusk and shuts off at dawn which is what I want but the camera shuts off with it. When I called customer service all they said was to exchange it where I bought it. The only trouble shooting option is to delete the app and reinstall, that didn’t work! Not really sure if it’s the light or the app! When the camera comes on the light is so bright and the camera is great, but you only get a half day of surveillance..Version: 1.4.14

Bad update!Everything was working great and I recommend the device to my friends. I now don’t see anything on the activity screen like I used to. Formatted the SD card. Still didn’t work! Went through the setup, still not working. I just found out they updated the app without notification. Now I don’t see anything on the activity screen even though I get notifications of activity. After hunting through the app I finally found where they hid the SD card info and stored video. This WAS a very user friendly app and worked well. Now it’s difficult to use. Seems like they just want you to use their online storage. Not what the box said. They need to restore the activity screen so I don’t waste time. I’m a retired electronic tech and pretty savvy when it comes to computers. My wife isn’t so she thinks the device is now a waste of money and wants to go with another brand..Version: 1.2.32

DO NOT BUY THESE CAMERASThese cameras continuously disconnect from my internet and always skip an hour or 2 of recording even while they’re connected and I was listening to music last night and had my airpods in and fell asleep with them in my ears, however when I woke up the case was gone and all I was left with was the airpods themselves and the last time the case was seen active was 3:47 am and it was not at my location, I look to see if someone came in, in the middle of the night and I try to find 3:47 but of course the one that records the front door is disconnected and the other didn’t even recorded until 4, these cameras are trash.Version: 1.13.6

Do Not Buy These Cameras!We have gone through 5 cameras—4 Cori cameras and 1 Axle camera. These cameras were bought over the course of the last 3 months! We continuously had issues with live stream while using cellular service and yes, we had an excellent signal each time we experienced the issues. We also had issues with receiving timely notifications from each camera. This company has zero customer service support over the weekend and since they are on Pacific time, if you experience issues in other times zones, consider yourself out of luck. The lack of 24/7 customer service should be enough for consumers to avoid this company at all costs. Even as I type this review, we are once again experiencing issues with live feed via cellular service even though we have LTE service and a full set of bars. App doesn’t workI have had this camera for more than 4 yrs. This updated app has NOT WORKED on my phone since I updated to iPhone 13 pro AND since VERSION 2.2.0. I have contacted customer service for months and keep getting passed off to another tech that tells me to keep uninstalling and reinstalling without my APP WORKING! I reinstall then unplug my camera to try to connect and STILL DOESNT CONNECT! The app FORCE CLOSES and I keep getting “UHOH, SOMETHING WENT WRONG” I LOVE MY CAMERA! I use it in my duck pen to keep them safe!!! I JUST WANT THE APP THE CONNECT TO MY ARIA!! Please! Give me an app that works with my camera! It’s an amazing camera! The ARIA lets you see at night too. New app is horrible!First of all, two apps for two cameras made by the same brand? Add support for the older models, bought less than a year ago! Second, can’t turn off the sound so when I load it on my phone I get horrible feed back: mute feed option is needed!! Not intuitive at all, and very buggy. Had to restart app twice to get the dashboard settings button to work, and all deleted recorded videos are still showing but come back with an error if you click them. Bad app, bad support page with NO useful information. If I didn’t need this app to use my camera I would delete it! Also, I pay for cloud service in my old app/account and would need to pay again for this? Total BS, don’t waste your time or money..Version: 1.0.78

This is the WORST APP on the App StoreNot only is the app slow, won’t refresh sometimes, but the camera also cam get stuck into night mode. I guess for a $40 camera that’s what you get right? Wrong, the yearly subscription JUST TO USE THE CAMERA THAT I BOUGHT is $50. DO NOT BUY THIS I GOT SCAMMED HARDCORE. It gets worse as you go on. The “rules” you can set in this app aren’t real. I take the “rules” off and I still get notifications. And, you can only have ONE RULE. it won’t let me change rule options. The only positive is that the cameras really sensitive. But is that a positive tho? My blinds in my window will be open when I’m off to work, and I’ll get +100 notifications just because cars are passing and there’s a little bit of light that refracts in. I would like to quote trump on this one, that it is the “worst trade deal ever.” Y’all have to be dumb to think I’m going to lay more than a one year subscription ESPECIALLY when it’s $50. Why would I pay $50 a year when I could get a new camera for $50 each year. I truly hope no one invests in this camera, because I wouldn’t want anyone else to get scammed like I did. While looking at reviews, the top one is from a year ago, and now I get it. I’m going to call my grandma and SPECIFICALLY tell her NOT to use this app or the cameras associated because I don’t think either of us could handle the app, or the camera I got for it..Version: 1.13.6

Cameras are awesome... app not so muchIf it were possible to use a different app I would! The cameras rock... especially for the price. The app however, is terrible. There is about a 5-10 second time lag IF you can get your app to go into LIVE mode. My camera is about 20’ from my WIFI router, and even if I am 10’ from my camera I cannot get my app to go into (or stay in if it does go) LIVE mode. No worries... I can just check my previous activity right? Wrong. That 24 hour free storage? It’s storing nothing for me. It says “no activity”. I emailed customer service, got very confusing directions with no punctuation. Followed said directions and it still didn’t fix the problem. If I knew there was another app available to use for these cameras I totally would..Version: 1.11.1

Hacked?Almost certain my cam was hacked as someone was in the yard and the cam didn’t catch any of it, the cam didn’t even record (or if it did, it was deleted) what I selected to record on my own and the app said the cam was recording when I selected record. Now there is no evidence of some random person being there. There appears to be 30ish minutes of recordings missing in the gap and what is there has the wrong time stamps up until the person is gone, leaving them out of recordings. This product belongs in the discounted children’s toy section. I have no idea how many times I’ve checked the app to see if it caught something specific only to find out it only recorded nothing happening instead. -Bad video quality: Maybe a 3-5 out of 10. -Auto record feature that appears to be random, even when there is nothing happening. -App freezes and needs to be restarted frequently..Version: 1.15.0

You get what you pay forI bought a camera for no more than $50. I just needed something simple to check on my items every now and then and make sure no one was entering my room. The camera quality was better than expected for its price. I can automatically switch it to night mode. I enjoy that it can trigger on movement and it records a couple seconds before the trigger. This is convenient for playback. I also like how it records the sound too, even though I do not have the sound on for a trigger or in live mode The app itself is very glitchy, though. The motion zones don't work, and trying to turn the camera on and off privacy mode is a pain. I can download videos quickly, but I cannot share them via message. I also receive notifications still when privacy mode is on which is kind of annoying. Overall better than expected but the app needs work..Version: 1.8.5

Have to restart appAs far as quality of the picture, it outshines the last camera I had. The downside, if I’m looking at the camera and get out of the app to do something else. When I come back to look at my camera it just spins and spins. It never comes back online and eventually crashes the app. If I want to live stream again I have to close of the app completely and come back in. Annoying if you’re using it to watch your baby (or anything else for that matter). I’ve emailed support and didn’t get a response. I won’t be buying another camera..Version: 1.1.11

UselessUseless and the most unreliable application I ever used. As far as using this for what you call a security camera, I’d have better luck watching my possessions with a blindfold on. I would never trust this app for security of any kind. I paid $40 for this piece of junk you call a security camera and I’m going to have the enjoyment of taking a 4 pound sledge hammer to it. So if I’m going to lose $40 I will at least get my satisfaction smashing it into 400 little pieces. Don’t see how you get away with selling this product to anyone. The camera and app are a big joke and I’m not laughing! The application is the heart of the camera. If that don’t work nothing else will work. When you see all negative complaints what’s that tell you? The lagging is horrible. My other cameras work flawlessly on my network without a glitch. Wow you have a lot of work to do. I’m sorry I ever bought this product. Get it right or don’t do it at all. Deleted this worthless application. This company should’ve been out of business a long time ago. You would have better security with a blind dog! Always remember a happy customer always returns. I’m not smiling one bit. TERRIBLEThe cameras are cheap and mediocre. The app is INCREDIBLY AND FRUSTRATINGLY SIMPLE.. in a very bad way. There is only one option... to record motion... or view the live feed. You do not have the ability to rewind the video feed even with the paid subscription. Even on the lowest setting it picks up any minute motion(with activity zones enabled)... which equates to 200 videos I have to sift through every day.. If some one ever did break into my home again I wouldn’t know it until I had spent 6 hours skimming through needless videos... that I didn’t check because I have become desensitized to the notification sound. I going to return them or sell them as soon as I possibly can. Buy anything but this. Please..Version: 1.13.6

Niro Camera Solid, App Is NotTrying to focus on reviewing the app, using it with the Niro garage door camera/controller. App works well at primary function of viewing live video and opening/closing garage doors. But the app is missing features claimed in the manual. There is no record button, and no audio/microphone button. So I can’t manually record video or hear audio or use the 2-way speaker. (Video only records 20 sec if you set a motion event trigger.) The other issue is that I have a window in my garage, and it is constantly (10x per day) triggered whenever the sun comes up, goes behind a cloud, comes out again, car headlights shine in, etc. This is even after setting the sensitivity to the lowest setting. So the camera is solid, but the app doesn’t allow me to use all the purported features..Version: 1.5.13

Decent Camera, Terrible AppWe bought these cameras after an emergency forced us to increase home security. The cameras work fine— especially for the low price. The app, however, is a different story. It is not easy to navigate. It only gives you full functionality for the 1st month, then you have to pay monthly for the service to continue. I had some technical issues with the app after their last update (which completely changed the functionality of the cameras which render the app completely useless for the reason I got it) and have not been able to reach anyone in tech support to help me with it. I have sent emails, tech requests via their website, and even called the tech line. I talked to 1 person who said they’d get back to me and have not been able to reach a live person since. You get what you pay for— I cannot recommend this product due to the horrible app and subsequent failed tech support..Version: 1.0.78

Slightly poor app and settingsThe excessive amount of notifications makes me want to turn off notifications, but I still want to be notified incase of emergency. App doesn’t allow me to turn off audio events being recorded. I would like to be able to only be notified of movements in the area I have designated(front door), Incase of an unauthorized entry by an intruder. However, it will catch a video at the drop of a pin. So, if you’re looking for a security type camera that will catch every little sound and movement this is the camera and app for you!.Version: 1.5.13

Used to love.I really used to like this app and the camera but not long ago when I would try to get on it would say I have a device that wasn’t set up with my plan but I had already used the camera on my plan, now the camera has to b on two separate things for it to work right ever since I fixed the problem and put my camera on the other plan thing it will now show the live video when I am not home and will not play the sound on the activity stream. I had this problem b4 the update but if I went onto the live stream and turned on the sound then the sound on the activity stream would work now I can’t even do that. SD card mine not yours 2 chargeI don't feel comfortable using any of your guys products in my home right now with my precious family. Have you become so greedy? These new charges and on top of what people already painfully have to pay for your devices - do not fair well on your company's professional behavior. Nor does the rip off sales pitch of promised privet functions ie SD card. Which has to be purchased separately in most of your devices (yet another price tag) show a little respect will ya. People are getting ripped off by this at least let them have normal usage rights with sd and live stream together when they have spent so much of their hard earned money on your products that they can't even afford to pay for extra fees for fetures they don't even want. AnnoyingWho ever designed this app needs to redo it. It takes forever to load the cameras live view and don’t even think about trying to view the stored videos you’ll be waiting along time I subscribe to the 7 day version and I can’t even review them because it takes so long to get them to load that I just give up on it. To bad they don’t even have an app that you can download on I pc much less find another app that is compatible with the camera. I use the geeni app for my camera in my bedroom and it works perfectly fine loads immediately and I can view my stored video and live view with no problem. The momentum cameras I have in living room and kitchen keeps going offline and can’t view. Rethink before you get app and cameras.Version: 2.0.2

UnreliableI have been trying to use this app and cameras for over two weeks. It is so unreliable. I have checked all network/wi-fi connectivity and yet I still can’t live stream anytime that I should be able to. I can see the recordings and I get the motion notifications as needed, but most times when trying to live stream it can never connect. It would be great if you could restart the app - and yes, I’ve restarted the cameras remotely multiple times hoping that it would reset the feed but that doesn’t do it. I’ve opened a trouble ticket but have yet to hear back from Momentum. The system was not expensive to me so I can’t complain all that much, but I’ve had to go elsewhere to cover my needs. Too bad, because in theory when it works it is a great inexpensive option but I need more stability in the live feed..Version: 1.2.32

HorribleThis is easily one of the WORST apps/cameras available. Please think twice before you purchase this absolutely useless product. I have had nothing but problems ever since purchasing this camera, and each app update only seems to make it much worse. Absolutely HORRIBLE functioning app. The camera rarely if ever loads despite there being perfect internet connections on both ends. It doesn’t even attempt to try and load the camera. It literally tries for 30 seconds and then times out saying “the connection isn’t available”, despite it saying the camera is online. The motion censors are so incredibly SENSITIVE despite me turning sensitivity basically down to zero. Every movement of light causes the thing to start going crazy and alerting me nonstop. You no longer have the ability to turn night vision to “on”, despite the fact that you used to be able to. The only options are “auto” or “off”, and the auto doesn’t even work!!! Night vision is completely non existent anymore. The siren no longer works either. The app used to show you a full picture of the most recent screen capture of the video, and now it’s just a blurry tile. Good grief, the list of problems with this camera are endless!!!! This is a TERRIBLE product and I would highly advise spending your money on a more established camera company. I hope this company goes out of business, they don’t have any business selling this absolute GARBAGE 😡.Version: 2.3.0

Low maintenance appThe developers of this app have absolutely no sense of Cutomer care. Made several suggestions on how to improve the app and app still not user friendly. For example you have to wait between deleting recordings between cameras if you have more than one because they have the banner blocking the function buttons. App crashes regularly because lack of regular maintenance. Often have to force close the app to view live feeds. There is still no way to delete multiple recoding at once you have to delete one recording at a time and often time when deleting it jumps to another file that you are not even trying to delete. After the file has been deleted it often returns so you end up deleting recorded file twice unless you toggle between function buttons. The cameras are affordable however I have missed several important recordings because when the camera receives lots of alerts it often malfunctions and camera need to be restarted to record alerts. I guess you get what you pay for. It’s better to invest more than you plan than less than you should because in the long run it cost more..Version: 2.0.2

PersistentWhile the app itself works well. You have to buy a membership to hold on to any footage longer than 24 hours. That’s fine, and I didn’t mind paying for that. What I did mind was that I haven’t been able to use this membership since the start of COVID. I bought this for breaking and entering issues. It worked great. Until the cameras were destroyed. I haven’t been able to buy new cameras so I tried to disable my membership that auto renewals. It won’t let me. So I’ve paid for 2 years with no ability of use. I go onto the app, it says I have to go onto apple. I go onto apple and it says it can’t. I’m just tired of paying for something I can’t even use..Version: 2.3.0

Camera 👍 app TrashCamera is great. The app is terrible. When playing back saved recording it only plays video no audio unless I save to one drive and stream from there. At this point only good for live streaming. you can’t watch recorded video until you get home and on same WiFi network unless you pay for subscription. If you have motion more than 19 seconds long, the reset for the next video is too long and camera misses activity. Total fail as a security cam semi fail as a video evidence cam. Live feed will freeze streaming video if you try to zoom in too much otherwise live feed works good. Can’t hear audio on saved video unless saved to OneDrive. Can only delete 1 video at a time. App freezes or crashes a lot. If microphone used it malfunctions to where I have to unplug cam to reset. Can’t set rule to separately just send notification of movement or just record video. When app crashes all video deleted reappear as activity but can’t view. Can’t set recording length. The list goes on and on waste of money. Only good for live viewing and sometimes that don’t work..Version: 1.0.105

New Update FlawSince updating recently, it no longer gives me the option to open or close my garage from the app! Please fix this.Version: 2.0.0

Log inI am upset about having to log back in to see what the alert is for. There is a delay before you are notified that your camera captured movement. Now after their software update I have to log in every single time. In the past you stayed logged in until you logged out. By the time you get notified then log in the culprit has had time to leave and you can’t sound the silly siren option. It should be my option to log in and stay logged in I have 3 of these cameras and have only been able to get one working. The others won’t connect. When I move I am switching to Ring Another problem that JUST started after a year is the night vision. I have used this inside pointing outside for over a year and all was fine. Suddenly I get a reflection at night of my window and mini blinds. I have done what their support recommended several times and it hasn’t fixed the problem. So I only have security camera working during daylight hours when I am awake. Now it doesn’t work once it’s dark. When all the crimes are committed. So it is basically useless now.Version: 2.0.0
