✓ Ripped OffKyoto driver went in the opposite direction of the address entered in the app, and after verbally confirming the destination. After a few minutes I pointed it out to the driver. He apologized and turned around. Total fare was double the $25 quote. When I asked for a partial refund the driver said the company would take care of it before it was posted to my credit card. The full amount was changed and when I protested to the credit card company the taxi company fought the protest. Very disappointed result..Version: 7.3.10

✓ Needs more English textThe site is not complete for English tourists. We typed in our hotel, the address came up in street name and number, no mention of the hotel. The taxi arrived at a slightly different place and started some confusion. I tried to email GO the night before to explain our location just to be sure and also book an appropriate size taxi as the app only shows this in Japanese. They ask for your name in furigana. So I tried to change to another card but then it said my account is locked temporarily and asked me to wait…however it didn’t tell me how long I need to wait. ✓ Fore sightApologies for the one star but you need a Japan phone number to register to use but we who visit can not have a long turn number or contract or even a pay as you go short term number.
