Keeps me centeredI’m really enjoying this app. I find that it helps me stay centered and The affirmations are very helpful-It’s helped me to realize that I do have power in my thought patterns. I love thisI downloaded this app after reading Poppy’s story in Cosmopolitan magazine and finding it resonating so much with my own journey of building my own business, burn-out and anxiety. I have only had it for a few days and so far only explored the “refresh” feature but that alone has blown me away - it’s exactly what I wanted in a well-being app; simple, meaningful, user-friendly, engaging and peaceful all at the same time. GoodI have tried probably a dozen different apps for meditation and I think this is a really great app. I love the meditations and can really relax to many of the guides’ voices. The lovely accents help too, and you can tell they care about your feedback and your experience using the app. The refresh and daily dose features are awesome and the meditations are well done( Although, I sometimes feel like they can be longer at times.)However, I do think the cost of the annual subscription is a bit pricey. $100 CAN per year is a lot of money for an app. I understand there are different currency exchanges, but if the app had other features that would support its cost per year, then that would be a different story. There are other apps that offer more features for less such as Calm..Version: 1.16.7

EffectiveThis app is not just one thing or one step, it is more effective because it tackles stress and anxiety from many angles, it’s a game, it’s meditation, it’s gratitude. One of the bestThis is one of the better mental health apps that I’ve tried using. I love that it takes just a few minutes, but is so focused on the bite-size activities that help improve your day. LOVE the visuals and imagery (except for the skinny breathing girl in the crop top). Love thisTried a few different meditation apps. Currently have this one and tenpercent happier. Use this one in the morning to start my day right. Simple yet creativeI love this app for it’s diversified options that are easy to navigate. I’m never confused about how a feature works. Some of my favorite features include the ability to choose from a wide range of moods, being prompted to breathe in tandem with visuals, and surprisingly fun artistic games. Soothing new content.I’ve been relaxing through my stressed out workday by having some of these longer meditations on repeat in the background. Specifically the new beginner series has made learning to meditate very easy. Go check out the Frank Vogt series for beginners it’s great. Good appThis is the first “mindfulness” app I’ve found in a while that I actually like and come back to everyday. I love the morning /evening wind downs and daily affirmations. UniqueI like this app a lot. It’s a unique take on the current trend of apps to help with stress, and it’s a lot more accessible than most apps in that category, because it doesn’t require in depth meditation or anything. Also, I saw some people complaining that some features were locked, and want to address that: Of course it would be great if everything was free, but it’s not realistic. Games can get away with inserting advertisement videos into the game play but with an app like this, which is focused on centering/meditation/etc, ads would be super jarring and interrupt the flow of the Refresh, which could effectively nullify the entire intent of the app..Version: 1.8.0 (2)

Mostly good, a few tweaks would be greatI really like this app, and I like that it mixes up things for the daily refresh, and that it uses a variety of coping mechanisms (breathing exercises, personal challenges, gratitude journal) but I have a few small issues: 1) I don’t like that it advertises the subscription partway through the daily refresh. I always almost hit subscribe, which I’m assuming is the intention, which I think is a really deceptive and disingenuous way of trying to get people to subscribe. 2) It kind of bothers me that it gives you a limited list of emotion descriptors (eg, somedays I’m tired, but it doesn’t give me that as an option) It would be nice if you could scroll through the whole list of descriptors every single time, instead of just hoping that the correct one will pop up..Version: 1.8.0 (2)

What I needed❤️Just got this yesterday after seeing an article in one of my fashion magazines about it. I have used it twice and it has already helped me a million times more than other apps I have spent money on. Useful daily appSome great tools and techniques to help you identify the cause of any negative emotions each day. Good visuals to help release these and then moves on to ending using positivity. Only downside is the screen linked to signing up for the subscription which makes it more tricky to go through the task screens and complete the short session each day. Love this appI love this app so much. I have been working as a mindfulness coach so I already do most of the things on the app regularly but it’s so nice to have it all in one place. I feel more encouraged to keep up with all of the aspects such as journaling, releasing limiting beliefs (love this especially as you write it on a ‘note’ which you then set alight so it turns to ashes), meditation, affirmations and sending love to friends. Meditation without the clichésI’ve been trying to look for an app which helps with meditation for quite sometime which isn’t full of the cliches and a shrill commentary. This app is perfect, really allowed me to get into a routine of meditating twice a day. Good but not Perfect!I have a been a loyal Happy Not Perfect user for over a year and think the price point for people who use this on a daily basis is actually very reasonable. I really enjoy the content and the contributors who host meditations, programmes etc are great! However; as a paying member it would be great to see content mixed up from time to time - I have done most of the meditations and find them now quite repetitive. This results in boredom and I use other meditation apps because of their constant change in context. The feelings area - I can’t believe there isn’t an option for tired! But I love the activities for daily workout - it was just be great if each area had a little refresh..Version: 1.29.0

Really great for anxiety sufferersI have anxiety and depression and this is one of the best apps I’ve seen (Moodpath is great for depression). I like that you have to pause and take 10 minutes 3 times a day to check in with yourself, do some deep breathing and meditation. The letting go and grateful diary are also good things. Sometimes I wish we had the option to save the letting go portion, but I get the whole “burning it means letting go of it” thing. The meditations could sometimes be better. Amazing AppI’ve been using this app for the past year now and I got to say that it’s one of the longest running apps I’ve stuck with. I am currently using the full subscription and everyday do a daily meditation workout. One of my favourite parts about this app is it’s tools area where you can do a grateful journal and have a compassion diary. The daily reminders wake me up and get my day started as well as the word of the day. I would recommend this app to a friend or anyone looking for an app with great mediations and just to use as a diary or journal. The only suggestion I would make is, when choosing your daily mood to make more of a variety of the ones there. They have been the same ever since I started using the app. And also on the website, to restock on t-shirt sizes. So far so goodI’ve only used the app for a couple of days but so far I like it. It’s a easy way to connect to yourself, spend 5 min daily on actually looking after yourself, be aware of how you feel in each moment. Bedside it’s better to spend 5 min on meditating rather than browsing on internet. The Lazy “meditator”Thank you for this resource. I am actually using it after decades of excuses to avoid a quiet time. I now finally realise it is essential for me to slow down and allow myself the reassurance and non shaming acceptance that this tool gives. I say this as someone with bi polar disorder ( a very busy “urgent” list making head) who needs this resource but had avoided using a tool like this for too long. Great app for mental hygieneI love the quickness of it. When I only have a minute at work, I can choose to deep breathe for 30 seconds while looking at a visual like a happy face ballon and hear beautiful relaxing music- or opt for a longer meditation. I like how I can pick a feeling, and then journal about it and do a gratitude list which helps especially if I’m struggling- daily doses are great and the whole app is user friendly and finally, I love the positive sayings that I can save to my photos and send to friends. Great app but less "free" than beforeI've had this app for a while now (years). It's a stellar app. The 'happiness workout' that used to just be a small reprieve in my hectic day costs money now. It used to be free. I only noticed it happened when covid happened so it seemed like a greedy move though it could be for any reason really. You still have access to most of the tools of the happiness workout for free but the meditations for this part of the app have been locked. They have other basic, free meditations you can use which are great still but the 'happiness workout' just set them apart from the rest of the apps. This change made me sad. I have used the app as a paid member and free member and didn't find I was using it enough to pay for it. If you can pay the 60 or so dollars a year for the app, and actually use it more than I was, then you're getting a very solid meditation app..Version: 1.29.0

Favorite app!This is such an amazing app and it makes my mornings so much better:) I 100% recommend. I’m 15 and use this every day(usually before school)and it feels great to take a break during the day! Best App I Have Ever DownloadedI use Happy Not Perfect at least three times a day. It is amazing at helping me decompress after a long day at work and puts me to sleep every single night. Different but goodThis app is a breath of fresh air because it’s not like the typical mediation apps. Wonderful for everyone :)Recently been struggling more so than usual with anxiety/depression - this is a great way to start my morning and definitely improves my mood. I think it’s a wonderful way to ground yourself to and work on choosing the good. I only have the free version, but the morning refresh is still fantastic. Usually I have to write something I’m grateful for, so some breathing, put kindness out into the world, and then a short meditation. There are other things included (like a calming maze) but those aren’t current every day. A next level mind workoutI’ve never really vibed with the speaking meditation apps, they just make me fall asleep or mainly there’s not even any talking, I’m paying for silence. I love this app because it’s interactive mental health. I can get an my anxiety out in 5 mins in with really cool games and mind workouts then get on with my day. Take a few minutes to check in with yourself!I’ve used this first thing in the morning, or before bed if I didn’t have time during the day. It’s a great way to express feelings that may be on nagging repeat in my head and also to push me to acknowledge the things that are going right and change the channel in a more positive direction. New content neededI’ve used this app for the last 6 months and found it hugely helpful even although I guess I’m not it’s natural demographic. While it’s geared towards the Gen Z and millennial market I’ve found the Daily Dose and Happiness workouts , ideal bite sized ways to start the day. My criticism of the app would be that a lot of the content in those two sessions is repeated and could do with being more regularly updated. The fact that none of it and next to none of the wider content recognises the pandemic also makes it lose a certain amount of relevance and currency. Due to this while I’m finding it very beneficial just now, don’t know if I’d renew..Version: 1.29.0

Mental switch offSimilar to a previous reviewer, I’m someone who can spend a lot of time rethinking events from the day and getting into a negative thought loop. I’ve used a few different meditation apps, and been using this one for a week. For me it works as it lets me express why I’m feeling negative, and then helps me focus on the positive. Free portion is valuable and sufficient in itself and not just a lure to pay, although there is a lot of quality paid content. Just what the doctor orderedAre usually don’t like paying for apps like this because in the past I’ve not used it consistently. But I look forward to the next day tapping on this for the daily refresh and all the little different things that it does like a daily challenge and reminding you to be grateful. Happy not perfectVoices, timing, rewards, games, challenge are all very good. I love how a grateful journal is kept and can be referred to while the stress journal is virtually burned so can’t be seen again. I don’t like that in order to “send a good vibe” of positive mojo or great picture it sends the add for the app to the person. After learning this I never send the good vibe. This is very unfortunate as the people I would send to at ver receptive to this type of app. I may mention the app but you lose a a great deal of opportunity because I won’t tag advertising when I want to do something good for someone..Version: 1.18.7

This really worksI’d never meditated before I downloaded Happy Not Perfect - I didn’t even know if I could! I’ve now been using HNP every day for best part of 2 years. The “happiness workout” is a great tool to ease you in to using the app regularly, and I do it most days; other times I just choose a guided meditation at bedtime. My sleep is vastly improved, I cope better with difficult situations day to day, my breathing is better, and over time many of the guides and presenters have come to feel like friends. If I ever have to skip a day’s HNP, I really miss it. Definitely works for me, I’d recommend anyone who’s interested in meditation/mindfulness, or just feeling better about life, to give it a try..Version: 2.3
