Clip Studio Paint for Positive User Reviews

PayingI like the app’s features and all but I don’t really like the fact you have to constantly pay every month/year especially on ipad and it’s just, why can’t I buy it as a whole thing like procreate. I really like the features of the app, alt house it gives me slight anxiety to make sure I keep paying up haha..Version: 1.12.0

Very good :)I have csp on both my MacBook Air and ipad and it’s amazing. The UI can be kinda confusing to learn but it’s very much worth it.Version: 2.0.2

Really professional!I LOVE this app it brings out creative imagination and a lot of great things! For my love for anime and love for art this is a great application to let my imagination run wild like ever before! So thank you for creating this app it’s awesome!.Version: 1.8.5

Like itI like it But I don’t like the start Because I got it today in the evening Because I saw A Video On it From Paint By Number 😊 And it seemed Incredible!!!!!! So I got it. Any way I don’t like the start Because I couldn’t Play it Today cause My Dad Was busy I didn't help me Get it Prepared Today and he said he will do it Tomorrow 😢 😮 So does there have to be the bit we’re you sign In? Oh and also the paintings should be able to be Wallpapers And TAKE AWAY THE MONEY AT THE START PLEASE I am Only 9 And I cant and don’t Know How to pay For it And my Parents Don’t pay for things over £1 So I want that to be sorted if you can,............... Anyway AMZING APP GREAT for art lovers Like me. 🥳💁🏼‍♀️.Version: 1.9.11

Beats the competition on ipadAt a time where Adobe thinks that tablets are mere toys and not workstations to be taken seriously, Photoshop is not at all a serious app on the Apple store. Procreate is great but not for editing and exporting professional work to clients. Clip Studio’s app is basically their full desktop version, on your ipad. It’s very complete and can be your main app for working from an ipad pro. You can even customize it to match your photoshop settings and hotkeys, import PSD documents, import your Photoshop brushes; an easy transition..Version: 2.1.4

Absolutely amazingI’ve been using this app for years and it’s absolutely amazing. The only flaw might be the price but all the features and the details makes it worth it. I started my digital art journey with this app and now I am a creator of a Webcomic on WEBTOON canvas called Love’s Death Wish. I would marry this app if I could! I highly recommend it!.Version: 1.11.4

My fav drawing appOnce I learned how to use clip studio, I really can’t go back to using any other software. I find it to be very versatile and easy to customize to suit my needs..Version: 2.1.0

Pc power on an iPadLike the title says, this app is a full blown program normally used on a computer except… you now have it on an iPad! Full fledged professional workspace and materials all to your tailored liking. This thing is just a powerhouse not sure if there’s even a better word to describe it.Version: 2.1.2

Best drawing softwareAs far as drawing goes this is by far the best and most powerful software. I found that every app on iPad was pretty basic for my needs but Clip Studio Paint’s iPad app is a perfect port of the desktop version, and has all the features you’ll ever need. There is a simpler alternative UI too if you prefer that. Great app for manga/comics since there’s a ton of tools specifically for it. It’s a bit weaker when it comes to animation, if you want to do animation I’d recommend using toon boom or opentoonz instead. I hope it improves on the animation front so I can just have one app to do it all..Version: 2.3.3

Best drawing appThe integration of vector lines is everything.Version: 2.1.2

Just some feed back :pI was drawing something, then suddenly this add came up, I’ve seen it a few times but kept ignoring it, but when it showed again I thought, maybe I could have a try of this app. So I downloaded it, and I actually really liked it, I’m still getting to know the app but I’m getting better, I found a way to animate, and just draw. The problem that I’m frustrated in is that I can’t save and I have to sign in. I tried signing in but it wouldn’t let me go past the second part of signing in. So I didn’t know if I had to wait for a response or it just does let you through, but on the other hand, it’s good I really like it!.Version: 1.9.13

Mostly good, updates break thingsThis app is very full-featured and is my preferred art app. However, the support for users who don't read Japanese is very thin, poorly translated, and often non-existent. The updates often break things—for example, I use CSP because it has a suite of 3d model viewing tools built in, so I can quickly build a reference scene and use it for perspective, pose, etc. However, after the 3.0 update, it now crashes on 3d models that were fine before the update, including ones that I saved within the app. This has killed a huge part of its utility to me, and contacting support is basically impossible. I have no idea why the models won't load, if there's a solution or work-around, or what the expected timeline is on a fix. A great product, but don't rely on it if you don't read Japanese..Version: 3.0.0

Awesome, just one small detail :)I really love this app. It’s great and I wouldn’t wish to use a different one. But, with the newest update, they made the home screen white. And I kinda miss the dark color that it was before, so it doesn’t give eye strain. I’m glad that the work area is still a dark color though. So thumbs up for that! I don’t mind the Home Screen being bright if my workspace is still dark, that way I don’t hurt my eyes. I do wish it was an option though. Like, you could put it in dark or light more. Just an idea :) Overall, the app is fantastic. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It doesn’t crash, and the brushes feel amazing. Totally recommend this for professional AND beginner artists.Version: 3.0.0

Clipstudio is not good. ,so angryOriginally, the clip studio on the ipad is very convenient for drawing my professional comics, but what annoys me the most is that this software will suddenly exit the program by itself, causing me to suddenly exit the program several times when the work is almost finished, so that the work is not saved in time It just disappeared without a trace and had to be redrawn from scratch. . Everyone understands that creating and drawing takes a lot of time and effort, and some handwriting may not express the same feeling the second time. . These really made the painter angry and disheartened. Please follow up the loopholes about the clip studio software in this program. please..Version: 1.13.2

The BestI’ve struggled a lot with finding a program that would be comfortable for me to transition from pc to IPad. However, CSP really saved me from a lot of troublesome and lackluster apps available in the AppStore. The program is amazing and really similar to the pc version, and although I never used the pc version and was mostly a Paint Tool Sai user, Clip Studio cemented itself as my favorite art program for its many invaluable features that I can’t find anywhere else. I’ve fallen in love with the plethora of brushes, the assets library, and the overall UI that is easily adjustable. For a mobile app, it’s amazing and runs so smoothly, and I can stay on my IPad for hours on end just drawing. It’s become an important part of my workflow now and I look forward to future updates on the app. With much love, keep up the great work 👍.Version: 3.0.0

Better than procreate to me.I used to use procreate heavily… but then it crashed and all my work was gone. Thankfully I backed everything up before that.. but since then that app has been crashing a lot more. When I got clip I was already amazed, it has always been a dream of mine to get it and now that I’ve had it for about a year I am glad I made the switch!.Version: 2.1.0

Love this!!So much better than the other drawing apps out there. It doesn’t try to hook you on effects or “wouldn’t this be cool” options. It provides a huge toolbox to help you create whatever story you want to tell. If you got the talent…this has got all you need.Version: 2.1.0

Professional use onlyIt’s a good app but i feel you need your iPad to be for only drawing if you want to use it. I tried using it and it made me feel inferior for only using procreate before. I don’t know how it works..Version: 2.3.4

Best drawing app I’ve ever used!I have used Sketchbook, Procreate, and even Photoshop in the past and they all pale in comparison to Clip Studio Paint. It just has so many features and an incredibly easy to use and convenient set up. I love it and I will never use another app for art again..Version: 2.2.3

First time iPad userI’ve always appreciated clip studios animation features. First time using on iPad, I’m usually a Paint Tool SAI girlie when illustrating on pc but I wanted more mobile options. Until SAI releases an app, I’ll be getting more familiar with the rendering tools of CSP. Enjoying it so far..Version: 2.3.0

Cant save 😃Yeah uh so...why do we need to pay to save our drawings? why cant it be free? literally whenever i need to save a drawing i have no choice but to screenshot it and *sigh* its taking up my storage😔, the app itself is great and amazing but the fact that you cant save your drawings without paying makes me wanna eat a brick hmmm maybe you should make it so that you can save for FREE <3.Version: 1.10.8

ZNot easy to switch from other software but it is full of potential and obviously can help artist to express themselves..Version: 3.0.0

Really greatI own the desktop version although I hardly use it as I have another preferred program. I thought the app would be a very simplified version of it but gosh they somehow managed to pretty much port over the entire thing! I can make full illustrations on the go or lying in bed I’m really happy with it. The brushes are really nice, I think I’m more likely to use my desktop version too now that I’ve properly tried it here. I got clip because I didn’t like the feel of procreate I would have liked to buy the app for a flat price but I think the yearly subscription is super reasonable, I would have no problem paying it..Version: 1.7.5

Love CSPUi is a little clunky on ipad, yes, and Simple Mode leaves too many essential functions out. Brushes lag a bit and I do not know why Celsys doesn’t utilise the GPU to accelerate brush performance. But with all that said, I love this app to bits. Nothing beats it, plain and simple. Procreate is excellent but the painting engine isn’t as buttery and good, and it doesn’t have as many features. Infinite Painter is also excellent but a bit too buggy for a mainstay/ workhorse. Clip Studio is the perfect all rounder, and honestly I’ve yet to come across an app I prefer for professional illustration and concept art. Even Photoshop isn’t as fun and creation- focussed as CSP. Love the additions they’ve added- the real pigment blending and the 3d model stuff. Love that they listened to their customers and ditched AI, unlike Adobe. Love that they’re constantly innovating and improving, unlike Corel Painter and Infinite Painter. Love that it’s available across all platforms, and the subscription price is so, so worth it..Version: 2.3.0

It’s really good better than ibis paint x!!It’s really good better than ibis paint x!!!.Version: 2.1.0

WoahI made a mistake I couldn’t seem to fix so I redownloaded the app but it said “get 1 hour free each day” and I was like wait what- what happened to being able to use this without paying or using an account? Soon realised I was using the wrong app and now everything’s okay :D this is an amazing app and I’ve been using it for a while. Also for those who haven’t payed for it and use the free version and want to save their finished work but can cause of payment, just screenshot your work so you can keep it and upload it to the internet if u want :).Version: 1.10.14

Love it!This is a really nice paint app, but you need to know the basics.Version: 2.0.2

Best drawing appClip studio has managed to recreated the full desktop version for iPad. I’ve been using the desktop version for years and the app is the exact same. Tried procreate and others but this is by far the best. Subscription is pretty rude however! I own the pc version outright and feel pretty cheated that I now have to pay a monthly subscription for the iPad app. Couldn’t give 5 stars for this reason ..Version: 1.9.4

Amazing, except for subscriptionI love this app. You can draw anime and loads more! I sometimes use this app for comics. This game definitely needs a five star rating, but one day I just dumbly realised the subscription I never payed attention about. I did not like it at all monthly pay?? No way, so I would recommend 4 rated stars for this app. Unless you remove the subscription I would LOVE this app. Please remove 😭. Best app ever 💓.Version: 1.9.4

Great but needs adaptingI didn’t give it a gleaming review the first time around so it’s time to stand corrected. It’s a great program if you want to specifically dedicate yourself to anime/manga/comic style of drawing because it’s pretty much designed for that. It does take some time getting used to and you probably want to invest on the largest screen sized ipad to make the most out of it. Also consider bluetooth keyboard to increase your speed. The subscription isn’t too bad actually, but I understood it might be a little steep for people who are just starting out. Otherwise, if you’re serious about comic drawing, I’d suggest give this one a go..Version: 1.10.8

Still great. This program still *desperately* needs an option to allow artists to Save As a layered .Tiff, and while there are always little tweaks to be made, this program is as great as it ever was..Version: 2.1.0

How to handle with no tutorialThere are ytubers who use this, love2drawmanga. Also it give you room to explore! It’s fun and a little glitchy. But exploring and playing around is wonderful!.Version: 1.11.14

GreatI didn’t have to pay for a animating app but why are people saying they have to I am on iPad and if you want to know how to get past the first bit hit pro or ex and press cancel it will start to load.Version: 1.9.3

How Good is that appIt’s just the perfect app for people who have some secails and they want to show it therefore it includes a-lot of thing there is not many difference between that app and procreate so I really like it and i hope everyone like it as me Five stars.Version: 1.10.5

Beginer friendlyI’m a beginer friendly in everything in comics… clip studio paint has made coloring fun markers n color pencils are pricy or can be, but they make it less stressful hardly steps in scanning n covering up on PowerPoint I love animation, I’ve gotten were I am today simply because I love art n comics n books it’s all I’ve ever known…many thanks for the program I’ve searched far n wide it’s the best tool out there.Version: 2.1.6

Still hands down the more intuitive illustration and digital paint program. If you like procreate, but want something more robust, limitless layers, and overall a better painting feel, get Clip Studio! It’s my go-to for serious pieces i’m working on..Version: 2.2.3

Great app, but needs outright price optionI’m going to agree with the last reviewer - I thoroughly enjoy Clip Studio Paint over pretty much all the drawing apps on here and would happily pay the desktop price if it meant I could keep it outright. But while the subscription model may suit others, it’s a bit of a dealbreaker for me, sorry..Version: 1.7.3

My go to drawing app.Ive been using this product since it was called Manga Studio, I love that its got the tools to create illustration and manga & even animation, also the assets store. Not a huge fan of the subscription model but at least there’s still the option for one time licence on pc. As long as it stays cheaper than photoshop I’ll probably continue using this as my main drawing program..Version: 2.3.4

I like it but I don’t really know how to use itI loooovvve to draw but I’m not used to this app It’s fun but there are som issues, but besides that it pretty good 🙂.Version: 1.8.9

Amazing but I have some struggles with it.I saw and ad for this and thought was amazing so I downloaded it. But when I was trying to find the 3D models and I looked through the whole program and couldn’t find them also the tools are quite hard to use/find but overall it’s great and would recommend it..Version: 1.12.6

The best drawing app if you can afford itI really like CSP on my iPad, it’s got the full desktop version and all of the same features which I really enjoy. I’m not the biggest fan of the subscription but buying the pro version yearly isn’t really that pricey, especially comparing it to like photoshop. I really like how it feels to draw, my favourite by far. I think I would like to see a lock system on the layout of the workspace because sometimes it’s very easy to accidentally move things around while working. Otherwise it’s awesome and I recommend it if you want to get seriously into art :).Version: 1.9.8

Love It!Like having my desktop version on the MacBook! Pressure sensitivity is perfect, the csp cloud works great so I have my thousands of brushes and materials ready to go when I switch from my desktop. Partner this with iCloud for my large files and the transition is seamless! Thank you clip studio for making such awesomeness that I use every single day! Definitely recommend this app on iPad, best one available!.Version: 1.10.2

CSP For iPad is the best for anime illustrations and character conceptsI tried out CSP for the iPad and it’s so nice! I have an iPad Pro and it’s a nice size especially for the workspaces and I love it because I don’t got the expensive money for photoshop haha. I recommend it cause I love using it for my character design illustrations and trying to do commissions. It also has so many amazing tools similar to photoshop and it has everything even offline :) recommend!!.Version: 2.1.4

Needs a one time paymentThis app is almost identical to the desktop version as it is a part of my everyday app usage but, i will not pay to simply export a photo. A good idea would to be able to link it to your current clip studio account. If you already paid for clip studio paint pro or ex on desktop version, you should be allowed to get the app version free since i already spent £40 on the desktop version..Version: 1.6.9

Amazed and disappointed....While I am so surprised and excited about clipstudio paint finally being on iOS, I am pretty disappointed in the fact that you all chose to go with a subscription model. I can almost guarantee (and I'm sure tons others would back me up on this) that people would pay a good amount of money to use this app if it were only for a one time fee, I know I would. Already you can see from the reviews left, that people are not liking the subscription model. Please do not follow the Adobe and Autodesk subscription route! P. S. I'm loving the interface! It's just like the desktop version, better even! Keep up the great work and please listen to the thousands of users that use your great software..Version: 2.3.0

I do miss one time payments thoI love this program. It’s way better and more intuitive than photoshop. The only thing I don’t like is the subscription. It’s a lot of money that I have to keep putting into even though I gladly already put in money towards the gold membership and assets. I don’t really do that anymore because I now have to worry about the software subscription. I know I can go back to the old version, but that would take away half the features even though I had the highest tier at one time..Version: 2.1.2

Dumb paywallsIt’s a magnificent app. Good functions and brushes etc etc,I enjoy making art on this. It’s very worthy of 5 stars if it weren’t for one thing: paywalls / memberships. What i mean is that you must get an entire membership just for simple functions. For instance: why do I need an entire membership just to save my drawings? Or record + save my timelapse?? Or export my drawing??? It’s just very stupid in my opinion. Ik many people have probably complained about this before but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be talked about. There are countless times my tablet has died in the middle of a drawing, and all that progress is lost forever because I can’t save my drawing / need to pay to save my drawing. I really do hope this changes in the future, though I doubt it will..Version: 2.1.6

The perfect program for experienced digital artistsI’ve used a lot of art apps in my day- but mostly I would use Paint Tool SAI back in my PC days- one of my biggest lamentations moving to iPad (I was using Procreate, originally) was a lack of features. There were a lot of things on PC that I could no longer do on iPad, or that I had to create a workaround to achieve But no more! Once I started using CSP, I was delighted to find all of my familiar features and functions once more- plus a slew of additional ones! There’s a huge community that creates assets and brushes to use in the app, as well as inbuilt functions like the animation options (which I recently got the hang of!) CSP is definitely daunting to beginners. For someone who isn’t familiar with a digital art workspace, I would suggest something like Procreate, and then to work your way up to CSP. But for someone moving from PC to iPad- CSP is the best choice, in my opinion. Especially since I now use it as my main app on PC as well!!.Version: 1.10.5

Unbelievably powerful on iPadI thought Procreate was the be all and end all. Now with CSP, I’m totally amazed at what my iPad Pro can do. Shake off the strange price tag for now, start the 6 month trial and be amazed. This apps rating is much too low for how awesome it is. Keep up the good work CSP programmers, you rule!.Version: 1.7.2

Absolutely love itEver since i found out about the app and tried it i fell in love with the app. i use to use ibis paint x back then so it did take me a while to get to know the more complicated features and buttons but now clip studio paint has become one of my most favorite drawing apps as it has many different features, the only thing i dislike about the app is the fact that you need to pay to save your work which i feel should be free..Version: 2.3.4

Having Clip studio paint foreverYou know Clip Studio Paint is a good software, used for anime, but the problem is buying it, free trial, license. The thing is that it caused money, and I hate that, I know some other animation app doesn’t go through that situation, if Clip Studio Paint can just that situation, then I would maybe use maybe Clip Studio Paint. Clip studio paint company, if you’re reading this, please change that situation..Version: 2.1.0

ITS INCREDIBLE….. just that…..I honestly love this app but the thing is how do you blend? Plus I’m a terrible drawer so that might say why my drawings are so bad 😆.Version: 2.3.4

My favourite app for illustrationI have been using Clip Studio Paint on a desktop since way back when it was called Manga Studio and it had no colour capabilities. A few years ago I swapped my drawing process to the iPad and as soon as CSP became available on here I haven’t looked back. CSP has the best ink engine I have seen and combined with the apple pen it has become my favourite platform. There’s some stuff at would like to see implemented, like the little snap functionality from procreate that turns wobbly shapes into perfect geometric shapes and maybe adding displacement maps functionality but otherwise, this is all you need..Version: 1.12.11

Fantastic illustration tool, but very weakI love the way this software works, for me it feels natural in terms of drawing, but not so much for painting. I still enjoy it, and find the stabilisation particularly helpful, as I suffer from hand tremors. I’m starting to feel really upset and frustrated how it can’t seem to cope with some files, where it will force close 9/10 when I have the audacity to save or open them! I won’t be able to work on my illustrations if it keeps up..Version: 1.9.8

While the subscription may be pricy so far I feel it is worth itI use EX version for comic creation and general illustration and I’ve been using clip studio for almost 10 years and I feel that the features and ease of use have justified the price for me..Version: 2.1.0

AmazingI just Love IT.Version: 2.3.3

A bugThe pointer gets stuff on the right side of the canvas which is really annoying as you also cannot draw there. Tried moving it, everything but nothing works! Please fix this before I delete this app!.Version: 1.9.7

Not badYOU HAVE TO PAY i deleted because of that.Version: 2.2.0

Best alternative to PhotoshopI’ve been using CSP for desktop for around 5 years, the iPad version is a fully featured desktop port which allows you to work one the same piece between both devices. The pen stability feels a lot more fluid than Procreate and with the new “simple mode” it’s a lot more tablet and user friendly. Still missing some vital feature in simple mode, but a huge step forwards!.Version: 2.1.0

I like itIt’s not bad unlike Procreate because even when I bought it I had to to buy it again even though I paid for it and they up the price? this app cost money for like upgrade but at least I can play it.Version: 3.0.2

Great, love the brushes.I used to use Procreate and while it is a great app I was looking for different brushes that worked better for my style. This did the job while also having a lot of different options that helped a lot. I will say that you can’t really see what you drew in the small image on the layer, but you can just turn it off to see which layer it is, or just rename them. It is a bit complicated to get used to but afterwards it’s a great app to use.Version: 2.2.3

Great app but this really bugs me😐😶Hey, great app but there is something that really bugs me: Every time i use the speech bubble tool after i try to draw again and then when i tap my apple pen on to the screen the cursor is a red circle with a diagonal line inside it and i CANNOT draw. Plz fix this as i went around yt searching but i didnt understand any of them or either wasnt the same issue..Version: 1.10.12

Good software with a subscriptionClip Studio Paint (CSP) a vary powerful pice of software. It seems capable of pretty much anything I need. Unfortunately though I can’t justify paying a subscription for something I use for a hobby. If I was getting paid for the art I made. I could see myself paying for a subscription. I’d totally pay another $200 for a one time v2 EX licensees on my iPad. It could even be done simmer to how Affinity team removed their v1 apps from being purchased after they released new apps labeled V2 so that when V3 rolls around I can pay you gain..Version: 2.2.3

Better than procreate! Just as good as SAIHonestly this app is the best drawing program out there on the iPad right now in my opinion. I’ve used the desktop version since it’s release and now being able to use it on iPad anywhere is amazing. I also tried out procreate but the lack of blending and blurring options is a big downfall for me. This app however has an enormous range of blurring and blending options. And has all the brushes I’m used to on pc! The interface is a lot like the desktop version as well. Which is alright but can get a little cramped sometimes if you don’t have it in the tablet mode with all the sub menus. But overall I’d recommend this app to anybody! Especially those who like smooth line art and soft blending options a lot like Paint Tool Sai! The only downfall with this app is the subscription. As someone who bought the desktop version and uses that also paying extra to use the iPad version is a little annoying, BUT the yearly option isn’t so bad. The monthly option however, is quite high..Version: 1.8.5

Hands down the bestClip studio puts the other drawing and painting apps to shame. I loved pro create and clip studio has a learning curve, not bad though when compared to the benefits. The capabilities on iPad and Mac are amazing to say the least. I have used many including photoshop and paint shop pro. By far it is the most natural experience out there..Version: 2.2.3

I always thought I couldn’t draw until the moment I discovered I actually couldThank you Clip Studio, you bring my imagination to a visual medium The hand scanning tool is super useful, and the new shading function is very nice. I just love your 3d library, hepls with the background a lot….Version: 2.1.2

LagIt’s a little bit lagging when I try to draw a line fix please and I’ll give 6 stars.Version: 2.1.0

My favorite creative appI've been using clip studio since debut on desktop, in the past few years they have really upgraded their application. I really enjoy being able to start something on my tablet and being able to move my project to the cloud, and pick it up on my desktop. The downloadable assets are great. Go create.Version: 2.1.4

Great, but flat price >> subscriptionThe software works flawlessly, but I'd much rather pay a flat fee for an app I own forever than keep paying year after year. It's a shame, because if such a version was able, CSP would easily be the best drawing app on iPad, as I find it has more features and is easier to use than Procreate..Version: 3.0.0

I LOVE this app!!!This app is absolutely amazing, it has a very wide variety of tools and features. It does let you save multiple canvases if you have a subscription, but it lets you save one if you don’t have a subscription. Overall, I would definitely recommend to other people!.Version: 2.3.4

Truly a good programIts an amazing program for digital artists and paying the subscription is definitely worth it. i wish i could get just a one time lifetime license but its still worth it. you can animate, draw, create webtoons all in one. i have the EX plan which is the most expensive one but you get everything. and the trial is 3 months long which is amazing. the clip studio asset website is so helpful. the interface is great but will take time to learn and get used to but you can move things around to help. MAKE SURE TO SAVE!!! and leave storage space. if storage gets too full, ive had it crash and my progress since last save, gone. to help with storage problems, turn off timelapse!.Version: 3.0.2

The Perfect Art Program For MeI absolutely adore CSP! It’s fairly simple, but has the ability to create complex tools, making it great for beginner and advanced artists. It’s only fault in my opinion is that this version is not wallet friendly if you can’t do a subscription based service. If you can, I highly recommend it!.Version: 2.1.0

So easy to use without payingSo paying for it is annoying but it’s great even tho I am like broke I can still save it without paying by like screen shooting it and then check my cams so no worry tho I wish it was as good cause well it’s not as good as the other drawing apps I have but really good.Version: 1.10.12

Not good for beginnersIf your a beginner drawer then I recommend starting with something else, especially if your a animator. I tried millions of tutorials but it was extremely difficult. But if your good with animating/drawing I highly recommend this..Version: 1.9.13

Just make a more accessible free versionThe apps great don’t get me wrong but they need to rework the free trial system so people who either don’t have a card or are too young to get one can acces the service without credential requirements. I’m 12 and have been an artist since the age of 5 , do this and you’ll be the first art software I will stick with and hey if you do this I’ll start paying when I’m old enough to ..Version: 2.0.2

Intimidating, but otherwise BEAUTIFULI love all the brushes and features but I’ve been using this for a while and I’m still not sure what all the features do, but I definitely recommend it to all artists who know a bit of basic knowledge of app controls and layer management!.Version: 2.1.0

Excellent appThe new update really improved the iPad version, and doing away with the in app file system and moving it to the iPad one was great. Be sure to backup your files before updating, as I saw another artist on Twitter say they lost all their files after this update. Insert obligatory comment about the fact that it’s a subscription..Version: 1.9.7

Love Clip Studio PaintThis app is a one stop shop you can do illustrations, comics, webcomics and animations. There’s also 3d models and assets you can use. This app is awesome n they also have videos to help you get started in the software..Version: 2.2.3

If I could marry this app I wouldThis app is the only reason I bought the ipad. I’ve been using it on desktop for years and it’s almost the same as the desktop one. I can't even take seriously the little issues that still has since my ipad has 2gb of ram and my desktop 16gb and a 1070 nvidia graphics card. I believe for what the ipad can offer has hardware, this app has been polished and squeezed to the core..Version: 1.9.5

Helped a lotThis is an amazing app and I know that from experience with it!the first time I ever used this I found it a bit hard because I used an iPad version of it but a month later I was extremely good at using it and I started to be more happy with my work on this that I started showing it to friends and family and sooner I was even better and this boosted my art skills so much because I kept practicing and I looked at old drawing on it and I could say I have definitely gotten better and this app helped me to get through it with help because I would practise none stop!soon enough I showed it to most of my friends and they really loved it and so do❤️thank you for making this experience easier to get used to.Version: 1.9.11

Awesome Art Software!Hi there! I am a ClipStudio Paint Pro user! I really love this app, so why am I only giving 4 stars? Well, I’ve tried other softwares like Autodesk Sketchbook and Procreate, which are pretty good, but one thing I have to say about this app, is the user interface is pretty hard to figure out. When I started using ClipStudio a couple months ago, I was EXTREMELY confused. Please do something about this! Unicorn Girl xx.Version: 1.10.8

Great program!I have been using this program since about 2016 on a Wacom tablet, but was thrilled when they released an iPad version. I don’t even know all the tools and tricks, but I have been so pleased with the program ever since I started using it. I haven’t had many crashing issues, but it has happened - usually when my iPad has low memory or I have too many apps running. Sometimes it’s just pure bad luck, but they do a great job maintaining the app thus far..Version: 3.0.0

Almost perfect program for tattooistsThis app/program is almost perfect for tattooists to use for design and stencil preparation, the only things it’s missing for me is an easy way to curve text like photoshop allows, also it would be nice to have the ability to draw a line and have it auto smooth with the ability to drag it to an alternative angle/shape like procreate does and finally if the artistic filter was a little more intuitive to help create outline around pictures it would save a lot of time making stencils..Version: 2.2.3

Amazing appI recently bought a Wacom tablet and it came with a bonus gift: choosing 2/3 software apps, I got Corel painter and clip studio, clip studio is way way WAY better than Corel, it may be confusing, Thant’s why it’s for professionals..Version: 1.8.9

Great! This is my first digital art program and I have absolutely no experience in it, yet I was able to quite quickly learn and improve increasingly every time I draw with it! There are many useful and interesting tools and brushes to make the process fun and easy! I would definitely recommend this program, also since it is quite similar to photoshop except with a lot more useful tools..Version: 2.3.3

Best Comic making app on the market.Clip Studio is the definitive comic creation software for anyone interested in making high quality comics. I say this as someone who used photoshop for over a decade. I’m using the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen, so I have to subscribe to the $99 annual plan, but I also had a windows license. The interface can be a little daunting for the first time, especially on the iPad where most drawing apps go for a simpler interface, but if you have a bluetooth keyboard or want to use your phone, you can set up hotkeys for just about anything. Clip Studio does have a simple UI mode, but unfortunately I have to reimport my custom brushes and some of the layer effects aren’t available. What makes this app worth the subscription is the ability to create, preview, and export virtually any form of comic or illustration in a straightforward manner. Making a vertical webcomic? Clip Studio makes all of the slices for your comic and has a phone size overlay so you can see how much of your page will be seen by mobile viewers. My biggest complaint is when I’m without internet connection and I launch the app only for it to take 20-30 seconds trying to connect to the server. You can still use it offline, but clip studio will want you to connect at some point which is a tad weird..Version: 2.2.0
