✓ AppIt is an extremely amazing app, but most of the time it says stuff about the baby’s dad for example: “dad can play with us too” and as a single parent it’s honestly horrible to read this because I fell like I am not enough, I think they should do the HiMommy! App only for mums and leave the HiDaddy app only for dads. There are lots of mums and dads in the world that are single and I do not believe they should hear about the other part..Version: 5.20.18
✓ Mom Guilt?I don’t enjoy the “mommy, you haven’t checked on me lately!” notifications. My pregnancy is already filled with anxiety right now and I’m not looking for anything else to feel bad about! I know it’s not that deep and most people wouldn’t care, but just be aware. Especially with so many other pregnancy apps out there to choose from.Version: 5.7.8

✓ Until now it has been funI have reached the „mum the doctor won’t allow you to wait until 42 weeks. If I‘m not born this week labour will be induced. I will happily delete this application now and wish I would have known earlier. THIS IS NOT HELPING. Stress about “due dates” which are called estimated due dates hinders progress. To progress you have to feel comfortable and safe. It is perfectly normal for a baby to come after 2 weeks of the EDD and your care provider CAN ask you to be induced or consider it. ALLOWANCE is not needed. This is your body and your birth and you are free to chose. The doctors don’t have to allow anything, you are a grown-up. Make informed decisions..Version: 4.11.3

✓ Pointless and boringThis app is super pointless and doesn’t really offer any information other than common sense. Today it said “remember alcohol is harmful” at 29 weeks. Seriously? Most days it just says “I can’t wait to meet you”. The Hi Daddy app has so many funny and cute helpful tips for dads on how mom is feeling and how baby is developing but this one is completely useless. Don’t waste your time.Version: 1.6.4

✓ Pretty uselessThis app only has one bit of information to offer daily. It also constantly asks you to connect a hi daddy app which is great if you have a husband/parter to share these little blurbs with, if you don’t though it’s very annoying and offers a sense of not being good enough alone as a mother. Most of the daily blurbs also reference growth to a father as if the mother carrying the baby isn’t good enough or strong enough of an example. I think it’s quite offensive because I am myself am an extremely talented, strong individual and I think if there is a comparison to growing and strength it should be made to the person creating the child day by day. But that is just my womanly, motherly opinion..Version: 1.5.2
✓ Too negativeI personally didn’t like this app. I much prefer another app available on the App Store. I found the constant reminders of weight gain could be dangerous for mothers who have a history of eating disorders. Also the constant reminders that the morning sickness was going to get worse was awful for someone like me suffering from HG. I wanted to be reminded that it would get better soon not worse. I just personally haven’t found the app to be detailed and informative enough as other apps. I get that some people probably enjoy that it’s meant to be fun and quick.Version: 1.9.12

Also, I like the HiDaddy app that syncs with HiMommy but there’s barely no info on the HiDaddy app either. ✓ Incredibly frustratingEvery time you open the app to read the daily message, the premium ad automatically pops up. If I didn’t want to pay for premium the first time it’s likely I don’t want to pay for premium any other time. The hassle is not worth the app. Deleted..Version: 5.4.6

✓ Lost all diariesI used it to write a note to my baby when I was pregnant thinking that I could look back and show my baby one day. Guess what happened? All the diary entries are gone and there’s no way to retrieve them even though I save it everyday. Thanks a lot!.Version: 4.19.1
✓ Seriously?I loved this app for the beginning of my pregnancy. However, when I lost my baby, I made a note on my account stating such - I have still been receiving notifications every single morning saying “hi mommy! You haven’t checked on me today!”. Can you see how absolutely heartbreaking this is for me? This has been going on for DAYS. If you’re going to have a section to fill out when there’s a pregnancy loss, you NEED to make sure it’s not sending notifications as if the person is still pregnant and not going through losing a baby..Version: 5.19.0
✓ Wrong informationI thought it was a very cute and nice app at first and as a first time mommy there’s nothing I want to learn more then the life growing inside of me but this app has it all incorrect, I’m 2 months pregnant right now and I clicked to see my baby in 3D and was shown a fetus at 3 months. Yea some of the information is helpful like when they tell you to do your exercises but why give misleading information about one’s pregnancy?? I just wouldn’t recommend this app.Version: 5.8.0

✓ I never reviewI do love this app me and my boyfriend purchased the year at the beginning of my pregnancy, and although I would give it 5 stars.. but I love the HiDaddy version soo much more. We share our updates with each other and even thought it is very informative, I think HiMommy should have a nice and naughty version also. The baby’s cute jokes really make for a nice touch. The widget and reminders are nice to have as well, and I like that me and my boyfriend can share messages through the app, I think adding a couple more options on both version with be great also..Version: 5.18.5

The app would continue to give me updates about my child child as if they weren’t born, although I updated the status multiple times. Perhaps a more generic ‘ share with someone special’ might be a better approach. ✓ Cute app, nice widget, but very problematic.I like the layout of this app, and I love the 3D feature and journaling. The widget is also nice to have, especially being third trimester and almost done. But the weight logging feature— I'm not sure where your algorithm gets its data from, but it is COMPLETELY wrong. I started my pregnancy at around 100lbs, and my OB told me i needed to gain at least 40lbs, if not more. I have gained ~50, and I logged my weight in the app just to have it say that I am 30lbs overweight. This is a huge problem, while I am able to curb my former urges as someone who recovered from an eating disorder, it killed my appetite for a little while. This needs to be fixed, the app is telling you that you should be weighing way less than you should..Version: 5.9.1
✓ All of my journal entries DISAPPEAREDMoms, if you want this app for the journal future, please beware. I downloaded this app and paid for the premium subscription at the beginning of my pregnancy and journaled to my daughter at the entire time. Every doctors visit, the day I found out she was a girl, EVERYTHING. There isn’t a way to export your entries, but I was planning on screenshot Ing them and saving to my Google Drive or photos but before I could do that, the app updated and ALL my entries are gone. This is devastating to me and I’ve reached out multiple times through the website and social media to see if they can be recovered but I have gotten no response..Version: 5.19.2

✓ App reviewThis app needs a serious makeover. It is not helpful with pregnancy information. If gives a white baby and you cannot choose the color. I’m Melanie and don’t want to see a Caucasian baby. As far as pregnancy articles and being able to chat with other pregnant women this is useless. I would not RECOMMEND OR PAY FOR THIS. There are better free pregnancy app that offers a whole lot of options and free resources for us along with videos to watch. ✓ Too many notifications and not helpfulThere are way better apps out there. This one is f helpful. And receiving notifications that say “hey mommy you haven’t checked to see how I’m doing today :-(“ is terrible. Their marketing dept couldn’t think of a better attention grabbing message that isn’t meant to make mom feel like crap? I do like that you can change the skin color of the baby, I wish more apps did that. But otherwise it’s a very basic app and there are others on the market that are far superior..Version: 5.15.0

✓ Enjoyable to follow along with.For the first 13-14 weeks it was exciting to wake up and read the daily message but then you really started pushing the dad thing. Muscles like Dad, Dad can get a toothbrush, you want to share this app with Daddy. It got really annoying.
