But I only gave the app 4 stars instead of 5, because anytime I’m playing in the innergeekdom and I hit opponents choose on the wheel I get stuck with the category of romance, which wasn’t even a category on the wheel in the first place. This app not only looks amazing with the moving title cards before the match but it plays amazingly as well with a plethora of questions. Although you see repeat questions from time to time the more I play, new questions emerge and they are not easy. I had to buy the innergeekdom league cuz the single player was so hard to beat and even with that said it was worth it. ✓ Pretty good but could be greatA pretty darn hood first version of bringing the Schmoedown to life. But the answer system needs some serious work to make it great. Some bugs I noticed: the confirmation screen will sometimes give you a completely different answer than you typed. Example: I typed Padme and it corrected to Ashley Judd. Another, I typed just Dr Strangelove and it marked it wrong b/c I didn’t type the full 45 word title. And one more, when stealing, if opponent went to multiple choice, I had to select mutilple choice to answer even if I typed it for 2 points b/c the answer button was missing. An add I’d like to see is to save your progress in a Singles competition. Every time I restart the app I have to start at the bottom again. But man, the structure to make this a truly great app/game are there! Just needs a little fine tuning! Highly recommended!!.Version: 1.0.0

✓ So glad this app exists!Love the movie trivia schmoedowm and so glad they've made an app for it! However there's definitely room for improvement which I'm sure will be worked out as time goes on and updates happen! The bank of questions seem limited(single player I got same 3 q's in consecutive matches when spinning Sci fi) so can be repetitive and making the game a memory test rather than knowledge. And a few bugs, with questions appearing high up on page on top of score that make it near impossible to read. Should be able to earn coins offline if say you win so many in a row etc, as getting online to play someone is near impossible... although if app gets more popular this may change! ✓ Exactly what I wanted!!!I've been a fan of the schmoedown ever since the beginning, and this app brings my dream to life of competing in it. Even when I'm playing computer versions of popular schmoes, it's like I'm playing them. And the ability to play anybody around the country is hugely satisfying. I think the ONLY flaws are the questions will need to be constantly updated every month or so and the online matches crash frequently with my opponents never connecting after round 1. ✓ Great startAside from a few small issues: it, rarely, will force quit which can cause you to lose a match and causes you miss questions due to semantics (I answered boat and the answer was ship). ✓ Great but can be better.Currently as I write this review the game is only on it's first version. It is great! Makes me feel as though I'm really playing the Schmoedown! Comes with all the graphical and typo errors that happens in the real show! Still needs work though with the answer system. It is great that it will auto correct spellings and such, but sometimes it is way off and gives you an entirely different answer than what you typed in. ✓ Fun with flawsLove the Schmoedown! This app is great, but needs a few things fixed. Some times the answers to some question inputed are marked wrong due to stupid stuff. Examples include inputing a numeral instead of spelling the number and the other way around. In the singles mode;I would get 4 steal questions, but the opponent would still get points. The app is good needs a little work I know it just came out and will take time to be great app but here some suggestions. opponents quit all the time I think if they do it should count as a win to you also. Pick to play random players and it keeps give me the same one after they quit and they have the same record if you quit or lose connection doesn’t it count as a lost. A music and voice volume setting would but great. And let players submit questions about movies that y’all can approve of so people don’t just memorize the questions y’all have already keep getting the same ones.Version: 1.0.0

I type ET and it’s called wrong as I needed the entire title. It’s really stressful to be about to win, but then lose due to a computer error. Mainly with the Oscar years too. ✓ Surpassed my Loftiest Expectations!Firstly shoutout to Chris Skalicky. Can’t imagine how much work the questions are and I want to respect that. As a fan since the dawn of the Schmoedown, I figured this would be a real treat from the hard workers at and in junction with Collider. I had no idea how insanely epic it would be! The typing mechanism works surprisingly well given the myriad of questions and answers to work with. I love the animations and cutscenes with Kristian and Mark, the same unpredictability as the real deal, and the puppy icon! ✓ Great trivia game great questionGreat question, good difficulty. Single play is tough, which I like. Two complaints— the wheel is difficult to spin sometimes BIGGEST COMPLAINT. When people quit online play because they will lose their match and that doesn’t count to my win score. You have a warning that quitting could count to your overall loses, it should count for a win for the opposing player. Otherwise solid game play and great game mechanics. ✓ Extremely fun and addictive!Huge fan of the show and downloaded this the day it came out and played it all night. It's a lot of fun and has the best flow of trivia questions out of all of the other movie trivia games I've played on here. It does have some issues but that to be expected. Some of the answers are way off when you type them in. For example you'll put "6th" as an answer and it'll say it's wrong and the correct answer is "6" which is the same thing. Several instances of that kind of thing. My one big complaint is the online matches. Every time I get disconnected from a person it counts as a loss and same thing if the person quits, it still counts as a loss. That definitely needs to change because there's too many people just quitting because they're losing and others shouldn't be penalized for that. Other than that, this game is fantastic! Great work everyone who is involved and I look forward to seeing it update and evolve!.Version: 1.0.0
