✓ DisappointedI spent $10(really???) and a couple of hours trying to figure out how to use this app. It is NOT user friendly. There are no tutorials that I can find anywhere online. Not worth the $10.Version: 1.0.6
✓ Needs WorkFor an app that costs a slam dunk of $10 I was expecting something a bit more high fidelity and feature rich. What you’re paying for is a chord library, the ability to hear a little bit of how those chords sound in order, a recording section, and a notes section. While its nice to have everything in one place, the features are barebones. The voice recorder is much worse than the voice memos that comes standard with all iPhones. It doesnt let you trim recordings, if the phone screen shuts off (which happens automatically over time) it stops recording which means you can only play for 30s at a time, and the notes section provides nothing but the ability to write text. As a person who has been writing songs for a while on his phone using Notes (free), Voice Memos (free), and the chord library in the Ultimate Guitar App ($3) I would say this app is not worth the money right now. It has great potential but needs a lot of fixes and a lot more features to be worth using.Version: 1.0.6
✓ Finding difficult to useI wish there could have been a trial period. I find it difficult to navigate and the input of chords is too tedious. One by one, it took me forever. You can’t add tempo either, and I couldn’t figure out how to get to the inspiration section. $10 for this app is not worth it. I don’t think I will be using. What a disappointment. ✓ No soundDownloaded the app today and there’s no sound. Tried using the support info which brings up an email, but it won’t let me actually send the email. Worst $10 spent. (And yes, the sound is turned on and turned up.).Version: 1.0.6

✓ Rip offThis is a not bad app. Design is good and I definitely think it fits a market. I would use this all the time! But, what isn’t great is that the app is over priced. $20 a year is insane for the functionality. Albeit, I do think I would pay for this app but a price like $3 is much more reasonable. The larger issue is this app makes little mention of this large annual fee in app. There is some mention on the description, but you have to click more to find it. Shady for sure. The apps page says you can turn this off, although I am unable to find this in user settings. And finally when I tried to report this as a bug the app brought me to the website, where I was unable to find contact info. This does seem like a great app guys, but do not try to rip off your users..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Waste of moneyFor something that cost $14.99 I count it a waste of my time and I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. The limitations in this app are ridiculous and it is way more time effective to switch between garage band, voice recorder and notes. This app adds nothing to me songwriting There’s no tempo settings... the way the projects and chord progressions interact are pretty clunky. I don’t recommend this app at all.Version: 1.0.5
✓ Google is free?I’ve been playing music for over 20 years and downloaded this app to spruce up on my theory and learn some new chords after watching a “The Guitologist” video on YouTube. He said that it “shows you all the ones (chords) that sound good together“ but if I’m honest you could look up all the stuff on Google and write it down on some paper. I read in another review that this app was designed for drunk people, but I’m also having a heck of a time figuring out the functions. This app isn’t very good and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, and from what I’ve seen the devs just want to make excuses about making a crappy app. Now if I could make some recommendations: the app sorely needs streamlining and made more user-friendly. You could also use the function that I came here for, which is chord progression building. Not just copy paste but actual recommendations on progressions (what chords add tension and resolve). Also, why did I need a login for this? Just asinine..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Auto SubscriptionAfter downloading have found that I have (without being told) auto signed up to £1.99 every month after the trial period of 7 days. It says there’s a button to cancel it but there isn’t. Have sent messages to app support but it’s not looking good. Looks like a scam to me, not impressed. AVOID.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Not enough chordsDoesn’t even have chords like C6, Am7 chord is not the same as a C6 chord in any shape form or fashion. ✓ Cannot run without profilePictures look great. I would love to actually run this app but I can’t get past the profile screen. I’m not creating a profile for this app. If you add iCloud sync support, you can have all of the purported features of syncing across iOS devices without requiring a Facebook login or similar. I was willing to pay the 10 bucks, but I’m not willing to get pulled into the “free for now but will cost later” subscription model. If there is no way around this, it would nice of you to put a disclaimer that, after paying $10 for this app, you won’t actually be able to use it without creating Yet Another Profile..Version: 1.1.3
✓ BogusI hate feeling like I’m going out of my way to trash talk but this app is highly frustrating for the following reasons: 1, there’s no option to delete or deactivate your account, 2, you cannot get in touch with the developers or parent company Mutual Noise to do so. ✓ Cancel Account?I tried this app but did not like it as it was not logical in its UI/UX. The screens were not relative to another as they should be so it’s a bit clunky to navigate. ✓ Nice app, butI can’t figure out how to change a song key after a song is created. Sometimes a writer starts out in one key, but later decides to change. There really should be an easy way to do this. Will an update fix this?.Version: 1.0.6
