✓ It is niceIt is a great fun learning game and experience but it is way too much money 💴 per year 89 dollars that’s too much sincerely I would not recommend paying that much money! But forgetting the money it is a great experience it teaches children and teenagers and adults to improve in math and observation etc, it gives many challenges and questions that are in your grade level! I only think that the game should lower the level of money it asks from the people who play it, but all in all if you are willing to pay such a price for a great learning experience I definitely encourage you to get this app..Version: 7.3.9

✓ Scam alert!I was charged $75 through Apple and they charged which I have no access. I never created an account and when I try to put my email it shows up as another language and it doesn’t let me sign in so we can use the money that we paid for. I reached out for the customer service to either refund me orlike ask instructions how to log in so I can use it and they did not respond me they scammed me they took $75 so just west of money and I didn’t get to even play it. It doesn’t let me sign in as a guest or sign in. They’re totally scam. Be careful..Version: 7.5.4

✓ It was really fun at firstAt first, I got to play 30 levels through the carnival area by pressing decline on the offer, but when I completed it and got to the chocolate factory it gave me another offer, so I declined and when I pressed play on level 1 of the chocolate factory, it kept popping up with the offer, then I realised it would only let me keep playing if I paid other than that it was fun while it lasted. DEAR DEVELOPERS: I think a good idea would be at the beginning of the game tell people that you can play the first 30 levels, and after that you can decide wether or not to pay the subscription. Another idea would be the same message but letting them pay a one-time fee..Version: 7.4.2

✓ Too many little errorsThere were just occasional small issues that made this feel not very professionally put together. For instance, when I tried to input my child’s age, it simply asked for his birth year, rather than date, and then said he was 5. He’s actually 4. It seems pretty straightforward that not every child born in the same year is the same age. In some of the games, the instructions weren’t worded clearly and were open to interpretation. Also in the advertising it gave an impression that it would be an IQ test and give an indication of approximate IQ. It doesn’t do that. It just compared the player to other app users. But only did this is two tested areas. In the other two, he was always the top 100% because there were 0 other app users. But in two areas he was top 95% against around 1500 app users. I didn’t see why there was data for two areas, and not the other two. My son also didn’t really enjoy the games. He found them boring. It would’ve been hard to get him to engage with them consistently, so we decided not to continue beyond the free trail..Version: 7.0.0

✓ HorribleI got into this game thinking I will be good, but then the characters are horrifying and they sound like an ugly possessed doll. I went onto the math trail or something and I got 40 points, so I can get 4 chests right? Well that’s what I thought! Went I pressed on the chest thing it gave me one chest, full of the normal coins and jewel 💎, but then, it started to load and when I looked at the amount of points I had, there was only 10! And 10 points can only get one more chest when I actually had to be able to get THREE more chests. Do you hear me, THREE. ✓ Cheats and stealsWe used the free version for a little while to see how we liked it. I got an offer pop up when my daughter went to play so I decided to subscribe for a year. It never worked. When I contacted customer support about it they told me they had no record of my purchase and couldn’t help me. Even when I sent them the receipt from the apple store. ✓ False advertisement is a bad first impressionUpdate: company replied “ appears there may have been some confusion regarding our membership features. As a free user, you can access all of MentalUP's tests. However, you must upgrade to a SUPER account to review your results” This is exactly what I stated in my original review. You are “free” to take the test but need to pay to see the results. This, by definition, is not a free IQ test as advertised on there website. Hence- false advertisement. It’s a complete waste of time to take a test without getting any results from it. Then they bombard you with emails saying come and pay to see your result. Original review: This company advertises a “free” IQ test for kids. We homeschool and my son will be taking one in about a year so I was curious about how he would score now vs later (working on ADHD regulating). They let you go through the test but then want you to pay $20 to see the results. If they had stated before taking it that you had to pay to receive the results, I would not have bothered my son with taking the test for absolutely nothing. If they offered one free result with the subscription to their app, that would still be underhanded in the offer of free Iq test but more understandable. The flat out lie is a glaring red flag. The games in the beginning are fun for my child though not worth $79 or even $49. There are other apps with the same for less price..Version: 7.5.2
