✓ First test okJust used it after downloading. Traced the floor of our kitchen going around an island bench etc. Fantastic to be able to measure this way, but once I made it back to the starting point the first marker was about 150mm away from the corner of the room..Version: 1.11

✓ Works well, regret buying thoughI didn’t pay attention to the preview before I bought this app, I thought I would be able to add openings like doors and windows but there is no additional editing once outline of room is done. Would be extremely helpful if minimal architecture symbols could be added during measurement or post measurement in viewing window. ✓ InaccurateThe app is not operating properly. The initial post changes after the second or third point click, sometimes, on certain floors, even with very good day light and bright room lights. The lines don’t go in parallel and leaves so much flaws due to human handling error. The designs of the areas are never close to the actual setup. There should be some intelligence embedded in the app to suggest a parallel line to the opposite side, and some rounding up of the distance as human hand and sight cannot get a post exact to the millimetre. I’m not happy with paying $8+Tax for this app that doesn’t help me at all. I still did all my measuring work with a manual metre measurement tool. I do not suggest buying it. Get a demo if possible and try it for yourself first. I did contact the support team and asked for a refund, twice, but still no reply at all. This app doesn’t do what it says and is a waste of money. I got ripped off and now I’m being ignored coz I’m not giving a good review!.Version: 1.9

✓ Tech not quite ready for practical applicationReviewed this app as a possible business solution for a large furniture retailer. I tested this app in empty rooms with bright light and furnished rooms with bright light. I found it to work reasonably (though still inaccurate) in small square spaces, it stopped working when trying to render larger spaces (400 ft sq). As previous reviewers noted, it does not accurately measure. (I laid down a measuring tape and compared the rendering and actual). It also offers no ability to edit the rendering (other than squaring off) after measuring. I also found that initial points of the rendering would skip or jump throughout causing me to go back and re-do the entire room. Inaccuracy of measurements, inability to edit, and cost of app all combine to receive a solid 1 star rating..Version: 1.11

✓ Just oddI’ve been playing with this app now for several days, and just cannot get it to work. After it detects the floor it starts to give the craziest measurements. Things are measuring and feet instead of in inches. I feel like I’m not getting something, and I have the app on both my iPad and my iPhone, and it isn’t working well – OK at all – on either device. ✓ Read ReviewsSo I’m a contractor and am always looking for apps that might make my job a little easier. So I saw this and was like awesome! A faster way to measure and get floor plans at the same time! Well that’s ALL you get. You can’t a doors, windows, text, nothing. It’s just a simple floor plan of a box really. ✓ Misleading AdvertisingI purchased this app based on the apps video which shows it measuring curved rope laying on a floor along with other items nearby. Based on this, I thought it would be handy for getting rough measurements for random objects anywhere. This is what the app description leads you to believe you can do. What they don’t tell you is that the app requires you to locate all four corners of a room with the camera to establish boundaries before it will measure anything! If you have to many items in the room it can’t detect all the corners and won’t go past that. No room means no measuring anything inside or out. I contacted the developer and asked for a refund but was told the next update would solve the problem but it was no better. Still no refund! This app should have a free Trial option before wasting your money but it does not! I deleted the app as it proved useless for me..Version: 2.0

✓ Does not do the job it saysI’m afraid I was bowled over by the presentation of the app before purchasing it but when I did, I found it to be very different. All the facts should be given before making you purchase the app. It is finicky (especially around nooks and crannies) and takes far too long to measure anything which defeats the object of a tape measure. I have asked for a refund within 5 minutes of purchase. There are free apps out there which work well even though like this app, isn’t 100% accurate..Version: 2.1

✓ Not for a proAs experienced structural engineer, this app is just far from being a tool for a pro. For instance, you snap the corner of a room for just a simple plan, check the dimensions of the room as plotted by the app vs the actual dimensions. If they don’t match, and definitely they will never match, now you need to correct the app dimensions. The only method to do so is to slide one of the end points of the line in question. The default setting fir dimension units is one decimal of an inch. I would challenge any one to be able to get it right even with ten trials. Not worth the “pro” title or price. By the way, there is another app that a corrected dimension just can be edited via text. Just click on the dimension, and you will be given a window to enter in text the desired dimension..Version: 3.0
✓ Good app but export not AI compatibleI find the app itself to function well in terms of collecting floor plan data quickly, but need to move the data into a more sophisticated desktop drawing tool such as Adobe Illustrator. I thought the DXF export format would be the key but it is not. I found documentation online that Adobe Illustrator will not import DXF produced by AutoCad released after Feb 15, 2007. If your app is using DXF format based on later releases it will not work. Tried a DXF to AI converter plugin but did not work. Still seeking a solution but wanted to let you know this apparent limitation. Please advise if you know of another solution. Perhaps you can create another DXF export option specifically for Adobe Illustrator compatibility..Version: 2.1
✓ Waste of time AND moneyDO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. You’re better off with graph paper, an actual tape measure and a pencil The initial point disappeared. This caused me to try to match the points which were now 6” away from the wall of origin. It gives a general layout of the area but I wouldn’t buy building materials using this app unless you wanted to add 25% which can result in a lot of money. Tried a second time. Used additional lighting (because the developing team will remind you that you need the power of the sun for the app to work properly). Difference was 12 sq ft (396 to 408). Tried a 3rd & final time and ended up with 357 sq ft. Same room, with doorways & some angles. Wasted money. Some technologies always let you down.Version: 1.10
