The Elder Scrolls: Blades Pros
✓ Essence of Elder ScrollsMy introduction to Cyrodil started with Morrowind and I was pleased to find this game available to play on a tablet. It is not the same as the open world pc games but bearing in mind the device I am playing on, the graphics and game play arenas are excellent. That said there does need to be a few more different quest areas to stop it feeling too repetitive and claustrophobic. There is also quite a lot of wandering around in similar looking caves and dungeons, so a few more outdoor scenes would likewise be welcome. However the music and sound effects are great and the world is easy to navigate and interact with. Some people have mentioned the cost of playing the game, but I consider that part of the challenge is to play and move forward on a minimum spend, and this has proved to be fairly simple to do so far. Finally, this game has managed to exceed my expectations for gameplay on a basic tablet device..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Surprisingly goodI preregistered ages ago and then forgot about it. I was reminded when it released and then was pleased to be able to play the early access version. Initial thoughts were very positive; it’s fairly well polished, the graphics are great and it was a good mobile approximation of the previous PC games. Having played it for a few hours, some niggles set in. The dungeons are quite repetitive and my progress has slowed to a crawl. It does seem geared towards pay to win as it takes AGES to find enough resources to do anything. I don’t mind paying a little for a game I’ll play but I’m blowed if I’ll repeatedly pay out to progress. Oh well, back to the grind. P.S. those bloody overpowered goblins are driving me up the wall!.Version: 1.0.2
✓ The Elder Scrolls: Blades Positive ReviewsThe Elder Scrolls: Blades Cons
✗ Login issuesWhen I first opened the game and waited a Very Long time for it to load and it still didn’t load..Version: 1.0.3
✗ Unfair arena match upsTo work hard at starting only to get unfairly matched at level 13 against a level 53 is ridiculous. I paid money to watch it all go down the drain. Until they fix this type of thing I would highly advise not wasting money..Version: 1.11
