✓ OkFor the first year I had Zoomerang, it worked great! Now I have stumbled upon some issues. I use Zoomerang on my iPad and my iPad works fine but whenever I try to open the app, it kicks me out. I’ve tried restarting my iPad and reopening the app multiple times but it just doesn’t work. And when I finally get into the app and want to shoot something, it says please check your internet or Zoomerang just crashes. This has been happening for two months now. P.S. this issue has lead for my account to be deleted..Version: 3.3.29

✓ About to delete itThis app should not be rated 4+ it has some very bad glitches and words. So Zoomerang I would not be giving this app 2 stars if you would fix some of the problems. The new update helped some of them but there are still a few glitches and problems I’m having with this app. First of all it keeps telling me that I need to give permission to write in Photos in settings. It doesn’t make any sense because there’s no where in settings where it says to give permission to write in Photos so I have to delete the app every time it tells me that and then download it again. And sometimes I think well maybe I just need more storage but then I delete things and I have plenty of storage and it still doesn’t save my videos. It’s just not working out for me because I put a lot of effort and hard work into my videos and then it gets destroyed because of your glitches. Be honest I love this app but I can only give it 3 stars because there’s lots of things you’re you guys need to fix. ✓ Please read please!I absolutely LOVE this app. Its really cool how you can do all these tutorials and i love that there is accounts and now comments. There are some bad things but they dont really bother me. But one of the things that bothers me and my best friend is that there is inappropriate accounts that are following us. We obviously block them and report them but sometimes they dont go away and yea there are people like that but this app is 4+ and kids really dont need to see bad stuff like that. But the one thing that i reallyyyy want is to PLEASE add duetting and going live. So duetting would be really cool instead of having to save it to your device then overlaying it and its just really really hard to do that. I think a lot of people would enjoy that! Going live would be cool but maybe allow to go live at 100 followers just so people would know who the person is instead of some random person going live. ✓ Ok It’s good but not great 😕So I saw this app yesterday and I was so exited because it was just like tiktok and Snapchat but 4+, when I got into the app it was fine, there was a video screen where you can film your videos, there was a Next button when you were done filming then you could edit it. So I filmed my video of my cats and clicked next, then I was in the editing screen. So I saw a lot of animations for opening and closing transitions, and some filters and cool borders. Then I wanted to put some music in and It had 4 options iTunes music library, and I forgot the other 3 but I have Apple Music so I was trying to figure out if I could Opload a song, then I could so I clicked on ITunes music library and then clicked playlists and there were two songs I could put in so I pressed on one of the songs and clicked the + next to it, and it didn’t go in and I tried so many times but it didn’t so I hope in the future you change that, please Thank you ☺️.Version: 3.0.34

✓ Good but could be betterZoomerang is amazing for those who think TikTok isn’t the best for them. It is a bit like an app called capcut you might be familiar with it actually , in capcut you have templates and you have them in Zoomerang as well which makes it easier to make videos. However, I wish the creators of this app would not make a lot prime for example there are some barbie filter videos but you have to be prime to be able to use them which I find annoying also there is a setting that says ‘set price for template’ and I think all templates should be free but that’s just my opinion. Posting is also quite difficult you have to do loads of thing to be able to post videos and sometimes when you have said to post a video it glitches and only posts a picture of a certain time in the video ( usually the start) and it’s very frustrating when you have spent a lot of time creating and figuring out how to make a template of your own and add music , put text in and emojis is some cases , and also when you have spent a lot of time editing it. It’s still a good app though. I just wish it didn’t have adverts because if they didn’t it would make it so much better because who likes ads? That’s right no one. But a good thing is you can choose who sees it and who doesn’t for if you have your account of private you can still choose who the video can go to which I find very good. ✓ Utterly pointlessNothing here that you can’t get from a free app. Is also very annoying that for any of the Ai video editing stuff you have to pay loads extra for within the app, which it doesn’t mention before. I bought £20 worth of coins to make a Ai generated video, it allowed me to make the video but I couldn’t see any of the effects before I bought it, so it was a pay upfront and see the results after, and they really weren’t very good at all. ✓ It’s a bit of funI played with this app for a couple of hours and I am sure kids would find it really fun. There are some really good templates for fast marketing on social platforms. I made awesome vids and gained followers. The vids were amazing and I used tons of tutorials. But here’s the issue. U guys got a new update. And I hate it! It’s so ANNOYING! Every time I split a video to get a cool transition it adds a pause. Now ik how to get rid of it. I did but afterwards I added something on top of the split vid and it added the pause back in again and I kept trying to remove it but it didn’t work. It frustrates me just typing about it. ✓ FlawsThe app was great when I got it a few years ago until…Zoomerang [user] started only featuring the adults, and not the kids! Next thing you know their featuring themselves and not a lot of other people. Then you start scrolling through let’s say recommended and all you see is adults and Zoomerang [maybe a few kids]. On top of that Zoomerang only posts fashion and skincare/perfume adds. I liked the old Zoomerang where they would have fun flashes with sounds, not where they have fashion and absolutely no sound to the video! I’ve also seen some inappropriate things I mean come on there’s kids on the app! And to top it all off all of my fav kid users quit!!! Something about Zoomerang changing and their not comfortable on the app anymore. Other than that I like how you can create your own videos and the new things they keep adding. You have to pay a monthly/annual subscription and THEN spend more money per video you generate depending on how long it is. ✓ I like ZoomerangI really enjoy Zoomerang but the fact that it wants you to pay money for a subscription which enables a lot of filters and that also it is a lot more suitable for kids than Tik-tok just a bit sly with the fact you can actually tap of the purchase page and you pressing free trial actually costs money. Overall it is a very good app and make sure you follow these steps… 1. Go through the sign in stuff 2. Once you are at the page that asks about the subscription press the x in the top left corner 3. ✓ Mid range app, a few bugsThe app is fairly easy to figure out how to use. It takes a few tries to work out how the different features work but once you’ve generated a few it becomes easier. Still a little buggy, the music section to add sounds to your video doesn’t work. AI generated music just says ‘check your network connection’ which is definitely there (I’m posting this review from the same device on the same network) and you can’t use Apple Music to add songs as backing tracks due to DRM so it’s impossible to have videos with music currently. It works ok in all. A word of warning though, to generate any video or picture at all you have to pay for a years subscription. There’s no preview to tell you what you’re going to get. I wouldn’t have paid for a year if I’d seen the results first..Version: 3.3.7

✓ Zoomerang.Zoomerang is a great app. It has a lot of fun, creating features! We can make whatever videos we want and help others shoot some nice vids! The problem is, when I signed in, I was working on a video and when I finished, I wanted to save it then post it. But suddenly it said I have to become a prime to save and share! People out in the world don’t want to spend their money on apps like these because it doesn’t say it’s required. Becoming a prime costs money. I’m not saying that Zoomerang should stop since it’s their selling prototype, but you shouldn’t force people to become a prime if they want to share or save their videos! For example, my friend has been on Zoomerang for long time, when I told her about the prime stuff, she didn’t know that she has been spending her money without knowing on the prime stuff. The thing you guys are doing is making the young kids download it. Free and all. But after you film a few vids, it’s not good enough. You are telling them to spend money when all they wanted was to have fun. Make primes optional. Make it so people will want to keep playing. Because after it says the prime stuff, they delete it and move on. ✓ One star because...I give Zoomerang a one star because this is not a safe app for children. Most people have this app because they can’t have tiktok. I would say now tiktok is better for kids than Zoomerang because tiktok has a kid setting that shows appropriate content and sounds. Zoomerang has many bad words because the users can use any sound they want with bad words and can post it. There are no comments but you can like and talk to people through your videos. The majority of people on this app are kids under 15 so Zoomerang should not allow bad words. I do not recommend this for children. Children do not always no bad words so they are more likely to make videos with bad words in them because they don’t know. I do not recommend this app for anyone under 14. The AppStore should have this app say 14+. There should be a setting on Zoomerang where you can’t see any users at all and you can only make your own videos and not post them. Definitely don’t recommend this app. And if parents want to know if this is safe for there kids, it is definitely not a good choice. ✓ AlrightI downloaded this app thinking I would rate it 5 stars but overall it’s a 3 or 4. This app comes up with ads a lot but you can skip them all. ✓ No one can log in??I really would love to recommend others to this app, truly, but there’s just so many new problems popping up that I can’t. Currently the most pressing thing is the matter of logging into AND creating new accounts. It’s simply not possible. I put my login info in and it loads twice, then gives me “error” message. Then i go to create another account to see what in the world is going on. Still won’t let me in. I know for a fact that it’s not just me having this problem, rather, loads of people. this has gone one for almost a week now and NONE of us can get in. it’s always the same thing everytime. If every new update on this app seems to boast “bug fixes,” then why are these things happening? Two days ago there was this video I wanted to do and so I tried three times but I didn’t like how it turned out so two days later I tried it and it was on pro version. ✓ Pay To TryI paid for the yearly subscription simply to be able to upload my video clip and type my prompt in and try out the video to video feature in this app to see what the outcome will look like. After trying it out, I didn’t like the end results much. There is another app i tried whereas the outcome wasn’t all that great either but they didn’t make me pay to try the app. All i had to do to try the app out was watch a short advertisement and i could try the app out for free with a limitation to a 4 second video clip for the free version of the app. I will keep my subscription with the other app and cancel this one. I don’t usually do renewals or long term subscriptions on any apps that would have me pay money upfront before i can even test out what the resulting product will look like. ✓ Scamming app that steals your moneyBought the app after seeing some AI overlay that I wanted to experiment with on a weightlifting video. Pops up saying it’s about £30 a year(advertised as ‘unlocking all options with pro version’). Thought it was expensive but gave it ago nonetheless. Clicked on the ai filter, states afterwards that every option requires more coins that have to be purchased so basically at approvingly £4 a video. Instantly thought this was bad enough but adding insult to injury I bought the coins for a video whereupon it states ‘you’ve been added to the cue, do you want a notification when it’s finished?’. Hours later I’ve heard nothing, went to check my prior purchases and the folder is empty. So I’ve lost £35 for abositekt nothing. Attempts to contact their team have been ignored (chat states they’ve been active but I’ve not received any answers). Now I seek out a full refund for the year and the coins. Still can’t get answers, guarantee it’s a mess around trying to get off the yearly auto charge as well. Extortionate on top of being none functional.
