✓ Mixed feelingsIt broke my cargo trains hub but didn’t break my passenger trains hub so if you could find why that’s happening that would help otherwise it would have been a 5/5 review Its been quite a while since i last played but turns out my cargo trains hub is ok it just wont work with the app but works with the handheld GREAT app.Version: 3.3.0
✓ Train stops when leaving appJust did the Croc train and works fine but when trying to access the iPhone camera to take video of it moving along it stops. ✓ Motor needs to be in channel AInstalled on iPhone 5s. Would connect ok but the motor would not run. We realised to motor was plugged into channel B of the hub but the app has no channel selection. You need to make sure the motor is plugged into channel A - the left socket as you look into them. The app should allow you to select the channel..Version: 2.0.0

✓ Needs to be more intuitive.I’ve been experimenting for over a year and there’s still basic functions I can’t use nor find on the web which be useful. One feature is an override so you can have a distance sensor running but as soon as you build gets too close to an object it overrides without motor cogging and stops the vehicle. (eg: a background code block or special start/address block with that kind of toggle. The next feature is working the 2 lights from one hub port individually. I have a project ford raptor that I would really appreciate if I could code blinker lights in some way. (eg: how the multi hub capability works). Thanks, •••.Version: 3.8.0

✓ Bluetooth speaker supportOn Technic Control +, I can connect to a Bluetooth speaker and the Technic hub at the same time, put my speaker in my Technic model and play sounds from the model, not the phone. ✓ No instructionsThis app looks promising but has no instructions or troubleshooting. The intro video did NOT play on my phone or my wife’s iPhone. The app appears to connect to my son’s train via Bluetooth because I can see battery life and the device name. However the train doesn’t move and the controls don’t work... when I press a button nothing happens. I can’t find any help or instructions anywhere. ✓ Best appThe reason why it’s not working that well is because you have to put in battery’s. It’s not that hard! Just look through every page of the instructions and you will literally see how to make the motor work! It’s nice and you can watch the train move on the tracks..Version: 3.0.0

✓ Excellent App! Very nice Idea!After the first installation of the app, the app was not working. It was a problem with the language of my iPhone. I have correctly set the language to French Canada (English is also working) and now the app is working fine. I use it with my new Lego Batmobile and it’s working very nice. ✓ Good, but needs updatesGot this app for the Lego grand piano. It works well, but a couple of things would make it much better: - the motor resets when going into play mode, but it spins longer than it needs to. It feels like it’s damaging the motor and I cringe every time - PLEASE make it so that it keeps the phone awake while playing music! Very frustrating to be listening to a piece and watching the movement, only to have it abruptly stop because my phone shut off the screen. Most apps override this when playing video or other content, please fix!.Version: 3.4.0
✓ Instructions needed on how to use properlyI’m only speaking for the haunted house as of now. After completing the house I added the powered up feature and fought with it for hours trying to get it to work properly. I went on line and many others had the same issues, most just gave up. After fiddling with the app I found there is a specific way to operate it. The chain wasn’t ‘resetting’ so the car wouldn’t go up completely most time or even fall at all. This is when I found the red square button right top to reset things. Now my ride works absolutely flawlessly like it should. Seems a couple paragraphs of detailed instructions need to be added instead of all the frustrations of not providing any at all. This of course may not be the case with other sets, but the haunted house needs instruction on the app. It works so well now I still must give it 5 stars though. Side note on the house itself. I applied a very small amount of garage door lubricant with a Q-tip to the gears and it made it work smoothly and efficiently every time. Use only this type and not a product like WD-40 which will attract dust and gum things up..Version: 4.0.3

✓ Great app - well executed!Gave this app a try despite the mixed reviews. Really glad I did. The app was quick and intuitive. No issues whatsoever connecting the devices on my iPad mini 4. ✓ Doesn’t really work to control 60197I’ve downloaded the app, even managed to connect both hub and controller. Hub updated firmware on first connect as well. It shows blue abd i can see connected in the app though it doesn’t do anything when i try to control - screen shows speed change but train doesn’t react at all. Update: after killing the app from app manager and reconnecting - it went to update firmware again and started to work. Though from time to time I have to kill app and pair devices again: app stops seeing it Update: works ok after reinstallation.Version: 3.1.1

What if you added the ability to use the lego mindstorms sets with this app. That would be cool It’s up to you whether you want to add this stuff or not though. ✓ Great appDownloaded the app, switched on the train, waited for the software to update. Had to restart the app and then it all worked perfectly. Great addition to the train, adding sounds makes it a much better experience. As it’s an electric train it doesn’t need a sound on continuous loop, unlike a steam train. ✓ Great app but needs documentationGreat app using it with a four port technics hub and four large motors. It is possible to work out how to use it from first principles, some coding experience helps a lot. Got a MOC spider up and terrifying the dog quite quickly. Shame there’s no documentation but Racing Bricks guide helps a lot even though it’s several releases out of date. Being able to label controls would also help a lot as would copy and paste. Sure there are loads of features I haven’t discovered yet. Still this helps to foster a spirit of community as we post what we have discovered and my grandson and I are having fun..Version: 3.6.1
