LibTerm for Negative User Reviews

Can’t ssh or type anything, what’s the point? Can’t ssh, the cursor is gone, no keyboard, can’t type or use the app, trash but a good idea, hope it’s fixed.Version: 5.1.4

垃圾不能远程连接,不停的诱导下载收费app.Version: 4.8

Not really a terminal, just prompts to purchase oneThere’s not much included with this, other than ping and basic Whois information available. Even something as basic as an ssh client/shell results in nothing more than a prompt to pay for something else that actually accomplishes something. Not terrible, but there’s just not much here..Version: 4.8

Not too badCan we get a color command lol I can’t stand green text , I need dark blue , and also could use a little more commands but still a good app I like it a lot , would be 5 ⭐️without these little flaws 😎.Version: 5.2.2

If this would let you sudoIf this would let you sudo to root on your iPad, now that would be something. Just a tiny little sandbox with extremely limited function otherwise..Version: 5.2.2

Good potentialThis app has the potential to be extremely good. There is a tool for adding extra commands called `package...`. In the version I downloaded and installed, the `package install ...` command didn’t work and gave errors. This is a shame because being able to customise and add commands could be one of its biggest features. The ‘id’ command also crashed the app. I’m hoping the developer will address and fix these. I’d be willing to pay money for an app like this with everything working..Version: 1.5

Tried to sell another app for SSHWhen I tried to use SSH, it tried to sell me an app. Read some reviews to make sure it will do what you want it to. Or find a different one. There are enough terminal apps in the App Store. Uninstalled..Version: 4.8

SSH is brokenSSH complains about keys when the remote machine does not require key auth..Version: 5.2.2

White ScreenEvery time I used to login to LibTerm I used to get a black screen and it would be easier to view my python scripts, now it just loads up a white background every time, and I have tried everything to fix it and still nothing.Version: 5.0.2

BadBad.Version: 5.2.2

NOT A REAL SHELLDoesn’t have any operators.Version: 5.1.4

Edit needs improvementIt doesn’t seem possible to enter a “tab” character without an external keyboard, making it quite useless for an iPhone. Also, after pressing close, it would be nicer to have a cancel button, not just save or not save..Version: 5.2.2

No SSH?Dozens of free apps that allow this. Wake up!.Version: 5.2.2

Misleading, lacks ssh without additional appsMisleading that this will not allow you to actually ssh without another $3 app.Version: 4.8

Almost perfectA wonderful tool, just lacking two features that would raise it to perfection: 1) Allow editing (not just recall) of previous lines. Preferably supporting ctrl-a, ctrl-e, ctrl-d, etc 2) It is wonderful it can "mount" other providers, but in an ideal world it would also offer its files in iCloud allowing editing on my other iOS devices or MacOS.Version: 4.8

Limited feature setNo man pages, ssh is difficult to use, very limited subset of commands. Do not recommend..Version: 5.2.2

Update to 5.0 crashes on startupIsn’t fixed after reinstalling the app..Version: 5.0

This app looks like amazing but!!Please add back black theme and please this app so weird i don’t know how to add tools into this app and use and theres no any video and info in youtobe and google i need to know this app better by share your info in youtobe and google or give info in app you are all have to do this and please make the app easy for use thanks.Version: 5.2.2

Completely unresponsive on launchThe app launches, but none of the on-screen controls respond..Version: 5.1.4

السلام عليكملا يمكنني ان افعل اي شيء.Version: 5.2.2

Compare to termux.0.118.0 on android.7.1.1LibTerm version 5.2.2 (1), May 1, 2020 at 9:36 AM from App Store. Apple iPad (7th) iOS 13.1.1 Darwin kernel 19.0.0 root:xnu-6153 _ARM64_ Uses only version 7.0 of clang, currently I have termux at clang-14 and 16.0 ... Compiled some C files, but noticed target llvm. Used tar xzf, installed (Ipad $ package install systeminfo, sleep), and cmdguide, gitdl would not install. LibTerm 1.5 from nov-2018 on GitHub? Aug 23, 2022 - Tuesday.Version: 5.2.2

Format? Is there a way to use LibTerm to format SD Cards with a card reader? If not having the option to would be super helpful..Version: 5.2.2

OkCan’t ssh, port option doesn’t work, and if only it were possible to cd into private/mobile/Applications.Version: 5.2.2

Potential but disappointing with the usabilityHonestly a great idea and something I’ve had fun with. I find it too limiting and am restricted with programs. I wish there was more of a package manager. I also find the fact I can not go into directories set at all read to be denied. While this is the best I’ve seen it isn’t comparable to a Linux terminal which I would have preferred to see. I understand some things maybe limited but I feel like a freer directory system and the ability to have a profile to customise the terminal would be much nicer..Version: 5.2.2

No Port ChangingSimply put: you can’t change the port number that the ssh command uses..Version: 5.2.2

Dead App Should be RemovedYou will notice the last update was over a year ago. In my case its been two years ago. I went to GITHUB where you’re supposed to be able to contact the developer. Sent 3 emails with no response. Don’t try and use the app, after I installed it, I noticed “iPhoneOS sdk” was some how installed. I couldn’t use it because my phone is not jail broken (I think). I have no tools to determine this, but just having this application on my phone could provide hackers who do know how to access your phone and use it is a big concern. I’m not sure if the developer even exists anymore. GitHub should ensure developers haven’t left their site, leaving everyone who downloads something from the AppStore hanging without away to report problems. DON’T BOTHER TRYING TO USE THIS.Version: 5.2.2

It needs money! FAKE APPThe app immediately requires you to pay when u enter a command. Garbage app..Version: 5.1.4

This is not a terminalThere is no operators!!! Just a couple commands. Only useful thing is ping. Google cloud console app has an actual terminal on a server for free.Version: 4.3

CrashWhat the Frick!? The app is crashing on 12.4.1? Please tell me why this is happening?! I tried to reinstall the app and still crashing! Why is this happening?.Version: 5.1

K.No vim. vi. nano. no way to edit a text file. a terminal program without bare bottom essentials? ive often downloaded this because its a good idea. but after 5 min i often ask why this exists. it doesnt actually work. theres no commands. no usability. i wanted it to work but the fact is what the fact is. this isnt a terminal on iphone. it just isnt. its a black box with a few specific commands and well. thats it. its not linux. osx. or even usable. really? no basic text editors? they are drag and drop open source....Version: 5.2.2

Good until you face permission and lack of tools wallIve been tinkering with this app for a while. You can not do much with it. Only simple tools are available. And you mostly will end up with permissions stopping you..Version: 5.2.2

ABANDONEDCan’t even do simple ssh on iOS 16.Version: 5.2.2

Doesn’t work. When I try to ssh into a local server a white square covers the screen. I assume it should be asking for parameters, or setting up a preset, or something. It’s not completely useless. I can ping the server with it. But that’s not what I wanted to do..Version: 5.1.5
