✓ It has good days and bad days.I find that generally everything runs relatively well under Surfshark and in its price point good value for money. Problems start to come in with some ISP's setting certain restrictions that the VPN is unable to bypass, which is not a Surfshark issue, it’s an ISP issue, that want to try and control more about what you do. As a rule most things run fine, but, the longer the VPN has been up for the slower it gets and eventually, it’s a case that it needs to be refreshed. As that time gets shorter, you become aware that a new update is a couple of days away..Madd Me.Version: 2.19.3

✗ Works when I need it the least****Update: Surfshark has requested I contact customer support. The first I’ve heard from them is after this review. I have sent several Bug Reports and submitted identifiable feed back several times, as well, with no response. The problem is, when the issues occur, I am then unable to access the web, due to the issue.**** Surfshark works when I’m at home or on a friends network. It works on cellular for the most part. I often have to click on fastest connection as mine slows. But, when in an airport, a restaurant, work, or public wifi with an anchor page, Surfshark is almost useless. The difficulties connecting to public wifi with anchor pages is beyond infuriating. Sometimes it will connect with little issue or immediately. Most times it takes 3-5 minutes. Those are usually the times when I have only 5-10 minutes to be on the web and I waste half of it trying to get Surfshark to connect. Then there are the occasional times like today. It took an hour and 15 minutes of waiting while it tried to connect. Waiting while it tried to connect after a VPN configuration reset. Rinse and repeat. Waiting more after configuration reset and iPad restart. Waiting after app uninstall and install. Then, waiting after uninstall, restart, and install. Finally, after one more uninstall, restart and install, it connects. Please fix this! Please! Pretty please!.TxLeeVeeVersion: 3.8.1

✗ Terrible ExperienceI decided to try Surfsharks one week free trial. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get all the features to work for me, I couldn’t manage to get it to cast to an devices and could only watch on my phone. Therefore I decided to cancel at the end of my trial period. I cancelled using the live chat function and was told my account was successfully cancelled and no money would be taken. However the very next day my account was charged for the year!! Surfshark has claimed the highest payment possible from my cancelled account! Upon contacting them they stated they could not refund me and I would need to take the issue up with iTunes/Apple instead. I then had to spend hours going back and forth with Apple and they are still unsure if they are permitted to refund as it was surfsharks mistake.... An absolute disaster ... very disappointed and would sadly not recommend..
