✗ New shapes don’t make up for its flawsI’m a big fan of the first game, and enjoy playing it to give my eyes something to do while I listen to podcasts. I was excited to discover this game, but found myself very disappointed with the lack of unique palettes in each section. One of my favorite parts of the original was the wide range of colors, with so many unique gradients between colors on opposite ends of the spectrum. But this game is just rainbow after rainbow, with barely any difference between them. Additionally, many screens move incredibly slowly, to the point where sometimes, when I finish a level, I think I may have missed something because it takes so long to react to my completion. The new shapes are interesting, but I actually find them far less difficult than the later hexagonal levels of the first game. It’s a lot harder when any piece can fit into any space. Overall, I’m enjoying the game, but I feel that it’s lacking a lot of what made the first so great..It's a Love Hate realationshipVersion: 1.1.0
