I Love Hue Too for Negative User Reviews

New levels wantedI get asked to write a review and rate the app during gameplay but nobody seems to read these. First of all the "no ad" payment option is not worth it. I paid the full price for the first version due to its originality, but the sequal has not much else to offer & the display with the all-black background is actually very tiring for the eye, especially because I can't use any tints because it ruins the display. Just like its predecessor the game becomes very repetitive not long after. I really don't care much for the small pieces whose colours look the same. Why can't there be more of the first round of Knowledge level, which is shown in the preview as well? More geometry, angular pieces that don't seem obvious at one go, but still all interchangeable. Having to put the right pieces at the right place isn't really appealing to me and loses the chill factor from I Love Hue. The teeny tiny pieces that are hard to pinpoint are very much unatteactive and enough put off for me..Version: 1.0.4

I love this game! But..I love hue too added a variety of tiles of all shapes and sizes, which makes playing the game feel much more versatile. I also love the feature where it shows “lowest moves possible”! It makes me motivated to go back and play a level until I have that icon unlocked. All of the levels I have completed i have made sure I got the lowest moves possible. My one issue that my progress has completely restarted twice. My completely restarted, I mean from the very first level like a data wipe. Both of the times this has happened it was while I swiped out of the application in the middle of a level. Once I clicked back on to the app, all of my progress was gone not just on that level, but on the entire game. This makes wanting to play the game feel very disheartening. I played back up to where I was once before the first time my data reset, just for it to be reset again. Very fun game, but that bug is so frustrating it makes me not want to play again..Version: 1.1.0

ADsYou do not need an ad after every level that is ridiculous.Version: 1.1.0

DisappointingI loved i love hue, but i finished it so i downloaded this game. I was excited to c new levels that were more challenging. i have 184 hearts right now but the levels have all been basically the same? i have been trying to power through the same boring levels to c if they would change but to my surprise they don’t. every time i moved up in i love hue the levels got more challenging, smaller and even different shapes. i loved the ones where u couldn’t c the picture before or u were only given two shapes to work off of. i was expecting for this game to be an improvement to the first game but it’s not. i am very disappointed, i might c if the levels change but if they don’t i will be deleting..Version: 1.2.4

RepetitiveLove this but you don’t advance to something ‘new’ on the next levels. You just play the same puzzles over and over and over. Also, why would you share my data with other companies? Did I choose to have THEM linked to my data?? NO. Bet this review won’t be shared…..Version: 1.2.5

Unable to transfer dataYes I’ve backed it up on iCloud from my old phone but my progress has not been restored on my new one. I had almost completed the game :/.Version: 1.1.0

Great game, but getting too "cultish".I love the gameplay. Even better than the first. Honestly. I love the different shapes and the music. The level finish quotes were much better in the first one, these are repetitive and cheesey, but that's not a problem. I really don't like the idea of the daily divination, tarot, psychic reading stuff. I don't know understand why they felt the need to add that. There was no point whatsoever. I know you can bypass it, but just knowing it's there and part of the app makes me very uncomfortable. To the point where I might not be able to play the game anymore. It's a shame. The game was good without it. Now it's much less relaxing now that I know that it is there..Version: 1.0.2

Could have been great, but it’s a clone full of adverts.Dodgy right from the start by forcing you to accept advertising terms without any option to say no. Game is a clone of others that I have seen before, but they wrap a thin veneer of pretty user interface and some text hinting at something vague and ‘mysterious’ between sections and then load it up with adverts. It’s totally obvious this is about advertising money, they don’t care about games. The pretence of nice graphics doesn’t justify them sucking up all your personal data for their own profit..Version: 1.1.0

Color problem.I am loving this game. I’ve reached 81 hearts which I believe is 81 levels complete. So I’m starting to be in the more harder puzzles. One issue I have been running into throughout the game is one piece looks a certain color in one spot and you switch it with a different piece and it completely changes. Like the one you are moving looks a little blueish so you switch it with a greenish or reddish piece and when you do that piece you moved is all of a sudden reddish or greenish or whatever and not blueish. But when you flip it back the piece goes back to the blueish color. This makes it so incredible difficult to put pieces in the right spots to complete the puzzle other than blind luck..Version: 1.0.3

Clever....but oh so boringIt looks nice, it plays ok, but it’s so repetitive and boring after a while. You never feel as if you’re getting good at it, just chancing across the right pattern with some random moves. I’m afraid I’ll be deleting it before I’ve got into double figures. But if you like this sort of thing, you’ll probably love it..Version: 1.0.3

I changed my mindUpdate: changing my review. it is now a three star rating, because they added so many ads and data tracking. it’s no longer feeling as artistic now that there’s ads that you cannot swipe out of. i’m probably going to delete it now. old review: This game is even more beautiful and relaxing than the first. Only downside is that sometimes it feels like you have played a level before, but that’s not the case. The levels are beautiful and captivating and are puzzling too. It is guilt free gaming, and I have spent days playing. Thankfully, there are no ads (and when there are ads you can just swipe down to get rid of them) and the game has no disruptions. It is truly a peaceful game. now for my one question that i keep wanting to know: what are those symbols that use strokes of the letters that are in each word called? they mark each section of the game and have profound words. i cannot remember for the life of me what those symbols are called. overall a wonderful game! please get back to me!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.1.0

New shapes don’t make up for its flawsI’m a big fan of the first game, and enjoy playing it to give my eyes something to do while I listen to podcasts. I was excited to discover this game, but found myself very disappointed with the lack of unique palettes in each section. One of my favorite parts of the original was the wide range of colors, with so many unique gradients between colors on opposite ends of the spectrum. But this game is just rainbow after rainbow, with barely any difference between them. Additionally, many screens move incredibly slowly, to the point where sometimes, when I finish a level, I think I may have missed something because it takes so long to react to my completion. The new shapes are interesting, but I actually find them far less difficult than the later hexagonal levels of the first game. It’s a lot harder when any piece can fit into any space. Overall, I’m enjoying the game, but I feel that it’s lacking a lot of what made the first so great..Version: 1.1.0

Not as good as advertisedLevels are just the same thing. Over and over. It’s so repetitive and not fun..Version: 1.2.4

What happened?I’ve been hooked on this game since I downloaded it last week. I progressed quickly, completing stages with few mistakes. Made it to the Divination phase (tried once), but I choose to play the “The Dream” instead. I’m a senior and don’t play many games, but I do play “I Love Hue” and enjoy it. Honestly, I prefer this app because of the shapes and hues that blend so beautifully. Now for the kicker. I was in the midst of a puzzle and the screen locked - nothing moved! I exited, choosing to save game and return. Long story short, after multiple tries with no success, I decided to delete app and download it again. This worked with other apps with no loss of data. Not this time, so I am back to square one. The first puzzles are too easy and I wish I could go back to where I left off. Suggestions?.Version: 1.0.4

I love this game, but something needs to be fixed. So, I’ve been playing for quite some time and have gotten pretty far, however not for the first time. Whenever I get to a certain level, the game asks me for permission on my location, when I click the tick it allows me to go to “the dream”, however when this happens, it sets me back 10 or so levels and freezes. Can you please fix this. Thanks.Version: 1.1.0

GoodIt’s very aesthetic and very nice to look at I guess I’m not sure how to describe it however it gets very boring after a couple of times you play it especially is you get easily bored like I do and it doesn’t entertain me for long. The levels also don’t seem to go any higher so it basically the same thing every time.Version: 1.0.4

Advert crazyWhat has happened? I don’t want an advert after EVERY GAME?! I used to play the free version of this game a lot and didn’t get too many ads. I used to love this game..Version: 1.2.4

Too many repeated levelsI really love this game, the soundtrack is especially beautiful and relaxing. But I would enjoy it much more if it were more challenging and didn’t have us playing the same levels three times over to get to the good puzzles..Version: 1.0.4

Nothing newI’m on level 750 and I am bored. There’s no new pattern designs. No new shapes. Make new shapes please..Version: 1.2.4

Colour confusing. After playing the fake for a while, I am sad to announce I do not like it. The main reason is when you get to the shapes where there are segments that are black, they stay black once clicked on. Also, the shapes are confusing..Version: 1.0.4

No sound :(Looks awesome, would give five stars but I am not receiving any sound. Uninstalled, reinstalled with no change..Version: 1.0.4

Rip offI happily paid the additional fee for the ad free version - but the ads have continued. What a shame, as this is a lovely game..Version: 1.2.4
