✓ Pretty good used with H5179 Temp SensorsI use a bunch of these to monitor my attic and my freezers. I want to be aware if the pipes in my attic are in danger of freezing, and if the expensive meats/foods in my freezers are in danger if the freezer quits working or the door is left open. The one major shortfall in the software so far is that the alerting for temperature range cannot be split between high temp and low temp. You can only have alerts on or off, but for freezers this is problematic because the low range is only -4F, so you constantly get alerts that it is “too cold”, when all you really care about is if the temp gets too warm. Would be perfect if you could turn on alerts for hot/cold separately or have a lower value than -4F for the cold side..TooMuchCowbell_77Version: 4.8.0

✓ Was Good, now Great!Update #2 - This app continues to get better and more stable, as do their products. I have many strip lights and bulbs in my home, one of which stopped connecting to WiFi. Excellent Customer Service! After a few unsuccessful emails to try resetting etc, they are shipping a new one, free of charge. Can’t ask for more than that!!! Update: Since my previous review below this function has been added so you can now control any number of sets of lights together using the scene function. This completes the app for me and is now 5 stars. Shout out to Govee for updating their app regularly and not just abandoning it like lots of others do. This app is overall very good and easy to use and set up, however, it lacks one critical function. You can not link multiple bulbs or LED strips so to change colors or anything you have to do each one individually. It’s unnecessarily painful. There is a work around using Alexa routines but still very tedious. I hope the developer reads this and others similar requests as this would be an easy 5 stars if they added this function..Bridgebuilder99Version: 3.3.0

✗ Please stop it with the banner adsWe already own a bunch of Govee devices, why are we getting a banner ad every time we open the app? This is super annoying and making me regret buying them. Up selling us won't get us to buy more, it's making us want to find a different solution that doesn't do this. This would be a 5 star app if not for this single thing. For anyone reading this: The app loads a banner on your main screen to upswell you on new devices regardless of whether you own a bunch or not. There's an X to close it but after weeks of having to do that multiple times a day, it's gotten incredibly annoying. Pros: - Very simple app, easy to access your devices and data - Great data export capability - You can conveniently group, identify, and set up commands for devices - can find and buy more govee devices from in the app Cons: - really annoying banner ad to try to upsell you the moment you open the app Yup, that's the only con, but it's a pretty big one. This app would be Phenomenal without that. If they remove it I'll fix this review and I'd be really happy to give them 5 stars, but we use our govee devices multiple times a day everyday and having to deal with that banner has gotten pretty frustrating..TreehuggingmonkeyVersion: 5.0.3

✗ Useful But where’s the Alexa Skill!?I received this as a Christmas present as I’m very into my smart home tech and it gives instructions on how to connect to alexa and when I carry out these very vague instructions to the best approximation, it has no search results for ‘Grovee Home’ in any skills, please fix this or tell the truth about your products.Stevemac3Version: 1.5.0
