The Loire Valley during the 15th Century. As influential princes, the players devote their efforts to careful trading and building in order to lead their estates to prominence. Two dice set out the action options, but the players always make the final choices. Whether trading or livestock farming, city building or scientific research, many different paths lead to the prosperity and prominence of the players! The many ways to gain victory points in this building game require careful thought round after round along with extensive planning ahead. Thanks to the different estates, the game remains challenging for the players for a long time, as no two games play out alike. The winner is the player with the most victory points at the end of the game.

✓ One of my favorite board gamesGreat implementation of this game! Runs smooth on my iPad Pro 12.9" (2nd gen). Wouldn't run on an iPad 4. Also runs on iPad Air 2 fine as well. Make sure you have a high-end iPad and enjoy this sweet game! Devs, please make the "grunts/speech" a toggle item so we can disable. The advisors or whatever they are that pop up at the bottom right are OK, animation-wise, but the sound they make start grating pretty quickly..Version: 1.5
✓ Great adaptation; slow visualsThis is a really good digital adaptation of the board game. It's easy to work out what each of the buildings and yellow tiles do while in the game. The letdown is the grinding animation, even on the fastest setting. The twisting board needs an option to be turned off, particularly when playing against multiple AI opponents. It makes a great game feel tedious..Version: 1.6

✗ Excellent game, confusing app designThis is one of my favourite board games and the app does a good job translating the gameplay. I don’t know why they chose to make it isometric, though — there’s a huge amount of wasted screen space and all the 3d animations slow down gameplay without adding any value. The app also relies heavily on icons and has minimal text explanation, so it’s difficult to figure out what things mean without trial and error. If they added an option to display the game in 2d with fewer animations I’d bump this up to 5 stars but as it stands, it’s another fun game with a perplexing interface.Version: 1.3
