It’s addicting and you get sucked in effortlessly, and I feel the ads are spaced out fairly, sometimes letting you have three, four, sometimes even five times in a difficult level before an ad pops up, which is definitely something other games should consider. ✓ A brilliant app but contains a few problemsFirst of all let me just say that this app is extremely fun. I have spent many hours grinding this game and trying to collect all of the skins. The graphics are pretty good and the physics of the game are very realistic. I really like the race and challenge system as well and how you can earn skins by doing different things. However my only criticism is that the game is full of unavoidable adds that can stop your progress in a level and send you back to the start. I find this very annoying especially if I can see the finish line and I have been stuck on the level for a long time. There is a way to remove adds by upgrading to vip but then again that costs $2.99 which I wouldn’t really want to spend on the app. So overall I would say it is a very good app which is very fun and with good physics and skins but could be improved by making the adds be a choice to watch or at least they pause the game. This I would say though is the best app I’ve reviewed and one of the best apps on my phone. Oh and one other thing maybe make the background a bit more exciting like by adding different themes to it like underwater or space as once you reach level 300 it gets a bit boring with the same background Thanks for reading.Version: 3.0.2
✓ Opinion + improvementsI really enjoy playing this game, there are few bugs but they do not interfere the gameplay. The only problem is the lack of content, the levels are repeatable and easy, there are not many skins you can get. After level 150 there is no point of playing (even tho I’m on lvl 420) So the game is super cool, i really enjoy playing it. ✓ Really really funI just got a new iPhone and have too much storage to even know what to do with so I was just casually watching some adds and came across this app. I didn’t think much of it but I ended up loving the demo and so I installed it. It’s a very epic game when perhaps you are bored to death in this pandemic, not knowing what to do. ✓ Pretty nice!I like this game a lot. It’s a great way to waste time 😅. It’s got good graphics, and it’s so simple that my little brother can play it. I like the skins that you earn too. I always like games where you earn the skins. But there’s not very many that you can get, and you go through the levels pretty fast. Most of the skins you just watch ads to get. I would like more skins (that you can earn) please! Also, there’s not a whole lot of levels. This game is endless as far as I know, but when you get to a certain level, the stages start to repeat. It’s still fun though. The game doesn’t take up much space on your device, and it’s quick to download. Like with any game, you can delete it whenever. But your progress doesn’t save. It’s really just a mindless activity, but it’s still kind of fun to play. So if your kid is asking you to get this game, and you’re looking to see how good it is, honestly just get it. ✓ Flawless GameOverall, this game is perfect I absolutely love it it is a perfect game to play whenever you are bored, and there are not a absolute truck load of ads like most mobile games, and it has tons of variety in the form of a ton of characters, and they are not hard to get either. Overall 5 stars is no where NEAR enough to say how good this game is, the mechanics are simple but fun, the levels are not ridiculously hard, and it’s fun! The levels are really short. If you want your players to be immersed in the swinging, they gotta do it for a while. ✓ Sounds and other thingsIf you have played this game, it’s addictive, but there are a few problems, no sounds and music is added. And there should be a trail customiser for your character. If there were such a thing as boss fights, I’d be thrilled. But all we have is endless levels with no bosses, enemies, and of course... a story mode. ✓ Needs AmbienceI really love this game, I play it a lot whenever I’m bored, watching tv, waiting in line for something, or when I’m playing games on my computer I play it while waiting to load, etc. But the thing that I hate is there’s no music, or sounds, no sound when you cling to a circle or a boing off the bounce pad, no General music in the background either, the game would be so much better with those added in, honestly, we didn’t need skins, skins are mostly pointless in my opinion. If there’s ambient sounds and background music the game would be much nicer, and maybe if you could fix the lag that happens whenever I’m using WiFi or Data, I don’t have any clue why but playing this game on WiFi or data makes it lag unbelievably, it stops lagging after I go into airplane mode, but I don’t wanna be in airplane mode constantly. ✓ Level 1000I’ve had this game for over half a year and have beaten 1000 levels of the game, overall I feel as though this game is amazing but it could definitely be evolved upon. The key problem with this game is the ads. The ads are incredibly annoying and take up half of the experience of the game and make it unplayable. I understand that this is a free app and the ads are the only way for them to make money but please, could you at least tone it down a bit. Another problem with the game is the height exploit. If you keep bouncing on on a bounce pad sideways and hold on to one of the grapple balls, you are able to get exponential speed and shoot your character straight to the finish line and win the games very easily. This exploit basically defeats the purpose of the game and could easily be stopped by putting barriers like on the bottom of the screen but on top. ✓ ~stickmanhook~Stickman Hook is a simple game of endless fun. It is effectively a 2d Spider-Man game where you can choose from many different skins. The normal levels are infinite and the challenges, though a bit harder, are also fun. There are ads on this game but just turn your phone on airplane mode or buy the cheap no-ad version (I’d say it’s worth it). It is great game for long journeys or short ones. I delete most of my games shortly after downloading but I have kept this one for months. I would recommend this game to anyone, and If you are thinking about getting this game, you 100% should. ✓ It’s goodSmart game overall. The backgrounds and characters are really cool and the style is super nice. The only two problems I have is that the bounce pads sometimes slow you down loads (only if you hit them on the edge) which doesn’t happen often. The other problem is that once you’ve done a lot of levels they all become the same. Maybe make new levels instead of cycling back through, and maybe make the levels a bit longer as you progress so that it becomes harder. I'm now at 2000+ classic level and although I still enjoy the game, I wish there was more variety in the levels. It feels like as you get further through the levels they all seem to overlap and reappear. I think the people that made this were probably thinking, “We need to make a game that two-year-olds can play!” Because that’s what I think of when I play this. 2 seconds in and I was zooming through level after level as the two characters I like, either the original or the Dino. When you get to a curtain level, you can unlock skins and also challenge and race levels (which include their own skins) there are a few ads but if you get the vip pack, which is wayyyyyyyy cheaper then “vip packs” in other games, not only do you get no ads, but you also get 3 free vip skins and two medals (which help unlock skins in racing levels if you get more) All in all this game is supppperrrrr addicting and I love it! 5 stars all the way!!.Version: 7.2.8

Most levels you only need to tap once or none at all and in general they are too easy. It would be a lot better if you could replay the challenges because default is too easy after you get to about lvl 100 (which isn’t as hard as it seems) every vs game is filled with ai and no real player so you usually win every time. I believe that everyone should have this game because it is relaxing and really fun. The creators of Stickman Hook should be really proud of themselves for making this addictive app for both adults and kids. As a 9 year old, I am always looking for extra exciting things to add to fun games. An idea for the creators of this app is boss levels. They are really hard levels every 10-15 levels which gives more opportunities for fun, which players would love. Unfortunately, there is one problem that has been affecting my gameplay. ✓ IPhone 11 Not working updateUPDATE: Finally fixed though I’m a little disappointed I’ve lost my progress. Works fine now though it takes a little longer to load than I’d like for such a simple game but still better than my sisters load time. Nice to see some new features too. I’ll raise my star rating to 4 as there are still some bugs and glitches that get very annoying. I have an iPhone 11 and although the store says it works on my phone all I get is the MadBox loading screen forever. My sisters iPhone XR takes a long time to load but does, eventually, load (about 3-5 minutes) I’ve left mine loading overnight with no success. ✓ Fun until…So at first this game was kind of fun. I was enjoying swinging around until I realized I was playing a level I had already played before. I thought nothing about it and kept going but then I got another level I had already played. Here is when I realized the the levels were not random and just repeat them selfs but I have nothing against that so I kept playing. ✓ AdsThis is a great game... it has a good concept but there is a few bad things in this game but I’m am only going to list 2. The first one is that it has way to many ads. If I die two times it goes to an ad. If I complete the level once it goes to an ad. And if I hit pause in the top left corner it goes to an ad. I know that there is the option to pay $2.99 for no ads but no one would want to basically waste there money on a game like this. My second reason is that there is a lot of glitches. Most every time I am doing a level it glitches out and takes me to my home screen. Or if I had just completed the level and it is time for an ad it glitches my screen black and then takes me to the home screen. And then when I get back on the game it goes strait to an ad. ✓ Fun game!So it’s not the most crazy game but it’s still a great game in my opinion there is the fact that you can go super speed using the bouncy bumper things and launch to the end but honestly I actually like doing it so no problems there and generally a really good game no real problems I have! Only idea I have to make it better is add other mini game things or challenges like you have to make it in a certain time etc. but overall a good game! ✓ Levels are too quick!This game is very fun, however the levels only last about 15 to 20 seconds. The levels doesn’t seem much of a challenge but more to keep you satisfied for time to pass. The downside of that aspect is I eventually grow tired of the game after about 5 levels because of how easy the levels are and how quick they last. Rewards for passing the levels aren’t that much of an issue but having a much longer lasting level with different sets of difficulties would boost the ratings on this game and number for people downloading it in my opinion! Both of my children(3 years old and 4 years old)play this game and they easily beat the levels and grow tired of it. ✓ Good gameI’m on level 534 and I enjoy it. It’s a good game to pass the time and there are nice skins to use and unlock. I was pleased when it was updated and they introduced ‘Challenges’, but I finished it quickly. The ads are fine, some a bit inappropriate, but Aeroplane mode saved the day. I wish the creators made more levels, as it repeats itself when you get into the hundreds and you just redo the level. Over all, I really like this game. First About the level generation I think that it just pastes pre made level parts to make a level I don’t mind it and it can get really fun but it’s kind of repetitive. It’s a good concept and all, but there are certain things that seem to be a problem to me. 1. The Difficulty Now, I don’t know if too many people before were flying through the levels, or what, but this game is very difficult for something that looks so simple. I mean, it’s good that there’s a challenge to it, but this kind of challenge just gets frustrating, and has caused me to rag-quit multiple times. Please, just dial down the difficulty a little bit. 2. The Skins I love all the cool and intricate designs on the character skins, and it’s extremely customizable. But some skins you need to watch an ad to unlock, there’s an entire page with just stuff that requires ads. And then, there are skins that require you to be at a certain level number. I haven’t played this game much, so I don’t know about the other pages of characters, but the level numbers are very far apart, and it doesn’t help that the levels are this difficult, I’ve had this game for weeks and I’ve only made it to level 21. ✓ Decent gameI'm now on level 493 (been stuck at the hospital with nothing better to do for awhile) and one thing if noticed is that the levels are extremely repetitive it's the same sections cut and changed all the way through. You can also 'cheese' certain levels by using the bounce mats with the circles at the end to keep gaining more and more speed by just swinging around and it hitting both sides until eventually you can let go and just fly over the whole level over the finish line. Can't complain about the adds because I quickly realised switched aeroplane mode on removes them. It is easy to play and you can make your own challenges to find more fun in it ( seeing how many swings it takes to complete the level, tying to get as little as possible). Though throughout my hundreds of levels played I have noticed a few flaws. 1. The levels do not increase in difficulty. After learning the basic mechanics in the first couple of levels the rest of the levels all follow a similar structure. Copied and pasted starts, middles, and ends of levels are thrown together and by the hundredth level or so it starts to get a bit boring. 2. The game is not rewarding or difficult. All levels look identical and their is no levelling up to new realms, swing abilities or harder challenge. Without your own motivations or goals to reach higher levels you will most likely get bored of the game after about 500 levels. Despite these flaws the game is a simple and fun game great for passing a bit of time without the requirement of wifi (if you ply with wifi on a game with ads I’m not sure what to say about you. ✓ Fun and chillThere’s no lives, respawning is instant, levels are interesting, there’s a bit of challenge but you don’t have to play by the rules (like bouncing between pads to go really fast and release and fly over the map), there’s no penalty for loss, it’s a fun arcade game to just play a few levels and return later; I wish more games had the ethos of this game. Edit: I managed to get the ball moving right at like 0.01px/sec (which allows for bounce increase) and bounced the ball extremely high and discovered you can go over the top of the finish line - I was going extremely high though (the last bounce period was about a minute and then half a minute later I tapped to bring the ball to the finish and it went over, down, and I had to restart 😹.Version: 3.4.1
✓ AdsThis game is awesome but the ads make the game look like it’s some low budget game. I’m not saying it looks like a low budget game, the animations are great I just feel like with all of the ads it makes it look like a bad game. Next I just wanted to say the levels are to easy and I want more of a challenge when I’m on level 350. Now I understand that when you make a game that has 500 levels that it can be hard to come up with a different layouts for each level, I understand that but the levels are just way to easy when I’m on a very high level that you think that would be hard but next thing you know I jump on trampoline block and I’m cleared the level. ✓ Don’t understand??So I love this game and it’s great. Everything works smoothly. As far as I know there are no bugs. But, there is something that annoys me. If you made stickman hook 2, then this game is going to go down slowly, like any original game where a 2 is made. Couldn’t you just have added the new stuff to the old game? I know, I know, it would be problematic because old players would get bugs and such. But could you at least add the skins from this game into Stickman hook 2? Because that’s really the only problem I have with the second game. The skins!!! For example, I have a favorite skin in this game, but it was not added to stickman hook 2, and I’m a little disappointed because I really enjoyed how it looked. ✓ Love it!This is definitely favourite game, and the best one I’ve played in a long time. The main reason I wanted to leave a review was to address something that is bothering me, which is what I assume is a little glitch of some sort. There is a feature in this game where you can race other players, and you earn medals depending on which place you came. Every now and then you are allowed to watch an ad to times the amount of medals you won by 5. Recently when I click on this button nothing will happen, and no ad will show, which is getting annoying now. Usually when you are not allowed to watch an ad the button will be grey to show that you cannot use it, but now when I try to click on the button when it shows it is useable, nothing will happen. This is probably just some sort of little glitch but I wanted to address it. Great game, would recommend it to everyone..Version: 3.4.1

✓ A really fun gameThis game is really fun. You can never get bored of it and always something fun to play whenever. However the game is rather easy but you won’t mind it. Maybe for improvements you can make the levels harder each time or adding extra stuff to make the game more unique in its own way. I play this game everyday and not once I have said “this is boring”. ✓ 5 stars!Love it! It’s simple, but challenging. There is no elaborate set-up, so, I can quickly play it in a break in schedule. I have a slight issue in that I have completed 150 levels and unlocked the last skin, however, every time I reload the app, it tells me that I have been awarded the last skin, which I already am using. It’s minor, but a bit annoying! The ads can get frustrating, but, I understand that money is useful. I was happy to purchase the ad-blocker because I loved the game!.Version: 2.0.0
✓ I love the new updatesThis game is great apart from the amount of ads and the physics is great. However after level 50 each level begins to feel repetitive, short and easy especially after getting a good grip on the mechanics and some handy tricks and strategies. However recent updates have really turned this into a really enjoyable game, there is no content blocked behind a pay wall, the skins are only one ad each for a premium one and some are after completion of a level. In addition to this a new feature that has been implemented has brought a difficulty spike I love to see (with some great rewards). ✓ A relatively good gameThe games has Great and stable momentum physics, it was questionable at times but i had a non glitchy and stable play through, however the levels got repetitive after a while, but then i went on to the challenges of the game and what can i say but good level design all around. ✓ BEST GAME!!This game is so much fun because sometimes it takes awhile to get through and I love all the skins and it doesn’t need internet, maybe if some of the skins say watch an add to get but that’s only the watch add ones so yeah yes you should get it. ✓ Good but..The game is good and I have spent a lot of time playing it. I think it’s fun to try to collect all the skins and it is sort of a challenge. The only thing I have to say is that you get an add every other game which in my opinion makes the game a lot less likeable and makes me want to delete the game because let’s say you just want to play a few games because u don’t have a lot of time but then you find yourself sitting and eating for 9 adds. ✓ Fun but too many adsWhen I get board I usually play this game, but there is a HUGE problem… the ads, I once completed 3 rounds and each of those rounds I was give given 3 ADS!!! 1 ad for each round! But you can change that for 4.99 for no more ads. Developer please change this!!!!!!!.Version: 8.5.0
