✓ App has gone downhillThis app used to be great, but lately it has gone downhill. Not only have they reduced the contest you can play in, but they have made winning them incredibly more difficult and for less money to boot. They got rid of their golf (had been one of the best ones), NASCAR racing, and early vestiges of basketball and baseball. Their soccer used to be guess 5 right and win $50,000; now it is guess 6 right for $10,000. They are clearly running into financial trouble as can be evidenced by how difficult they have made it to win and by reducing how much you can win. It gets a star above one just because it is free to play and I suppose you have a shot at winning something, although that is debatable.Brian12347654Version: 770.13

✓ Impossible to win jackpotThis app is okay, kinda fun to play, but impossible to win NFL Sunday jackpots. They claim they’ve given out 6.5 million in prizes, but I’m bot seeing it cause no one ever wins. You gotta make predictions with really low odds if happening, but then, on top of that, you have to only only select the amount of points the winning team will win by, and then you have to select the total points scored in the game within a range of 3 points. So basically you have to have all these statistically nearly impossible predictions to go right for you, and then on top of that you have to essentially exactly predict the final score of the game, since you have to pick winning margin of victory in too of the total points scored un the game, leaving only 1 or 2 possible football score combinations to hit your choices. For example, if you choose the winning team of Cowboys and by 10-11 points, then select total points 48-51, only possible final score to win would be 31-20 or 30-20 or 30-19(highly unlikely) or 29-19(highly unlikely).BrocktheRock123Version: 770.11

✓ Needs improvementThankful the contest exists but the functionality is horrible. Not very user friendly especially in being able to see the selections you made. In golf, it would be nice to see who you selected to win AND by how much. Also why not simply make the scores of the person who is winning green and make them red if they aren’t instead of the green, red, black mix? ✓ Prem LeaguePlease make it an option to update scores in the leagues you’re in as well as the general scores. When you enter scores for the first time it prompts an option to use these scores in a league you’re in but does not do this if you edit scores. This means often and unknowingly you have 2 different sets of results. ✓ Haven’t been paid...scam?Won $2.00 over a month ago. I tried to transfer it to my PayPal account, but it never showed up. I’ve contacted support and they’ve said they are working on it. Each email they say they hope to get it to me in the “next week or so”. It’s unfortunate because it’s a fun game. I suppose it’s like any other form of gambling, play for fun... not for the money. ✓ Stopped WorkingI’ve been using app for quite a while now, and just the other day i started to notice that the app won’t even open for me anymore. Something didn’t seem right about it, I started to question whether my account got banned or what not. Just a couple minutes ago after waking up I tried to check my score and it won’t even take me past the start up screen. I love this app, and use it everyday but if this is what it comes to then it’s whatever. I just wanna play! ✓ Pickem Live is too Texas-centric and golf part flawedI think the headline says it all, though I’d also add the payouts for the golf tourneys are chintzy to say the least given that tens of thousands of people enter. $5,000 total purse for such long odds is pretty ridiculous. What’s worse is that the window to make the golf selections from day to day are often extremely short taking until late at night for them to open for the next day’s selections. ✓ Freezes on Splash ScreenThe most recent update (version 681, d/l on September 19) shows the opening splash screen then, after about 10 seconds kicks my phone back to my home screen. The app hasn’t actually QUIT, however; when I double tap the home key on my iPhone it shows the app still running in the background but also still frozen on the opening splash screen. ✓ Poorly designedGreat idea in the app with a TERRIBLE software side. Very unintuitive and minimal to no ability to customize any screen. As they add more sports, it would be nice to filter to the ones you like, but instead there’s overloading information on every screen and it can be difficult to navigate. If you join leagues with friends, they often require making extra picks, rather than using your weekly picks for that as well. ✓ They ran out of moneyAfter spending $2.7 BILLION for the broadcast rights to the Premier League for the next six years, the bean counters at NBC had to save money somewhere. So they decided to drastically cut the pittance of prize money they award in this little game. First it went from having to pick five games exactly right to six games exactly right to win the jackpot. Now they’ve decreased the jackpot from $50K to $10K. Probably not the smartest move when you’re trying to drum up interest in your Peacock streaming service. ✓ Fun until you win...This app seems like a great deal. You have the opportunity to win money without paying to play. Sounds too good to be true. Right? Well, it is. It’s fun until you win and they don’t pay you. I won a small amount of money, and it took them a week to pay me. That’s absurd. Fox has a similar app, but they actually pay winnings. I will open the app up view a few things close it so that it isn’t running in the background and reopen it later to check scores. With this method I have been noticing large data usage numbers. Is anyone else noticing this as well and is this normal? I also with I was able to view and make updates while traveling. I live in California and travel for a living, today I tried to check my golf score and make picks for Sunday and I’m told it’s not available in my location! It should remember where you set up your account or your home address and use that info. So I’m unable to use this app while working out of the country. ✓ Missing NotificationsGreat app and fun to play leagues but I just had my phone replaced and I had to start from fresh and not my backup and for whatever reason it’s not asking me if I want to setup notifications and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. I’ve hit the app support button with no luck and no way to contact them and without the notifications I forget about them. I’ve had to add one to my reminders and that’s just not the place for that. Please fix this. I’ll revise my review then. Update: So I have found that signing in after a reinstall does not give you the option to set notifications but you can fool the system by trying to sign up using the same info and going through the motions. It’s not ideal but it will work. The app needs coded to correct that. In addition the notification spam needs to stop. After I make my picks the notifications needs to stop. The app just continues to remind me and tell me about making my picks even after they have been made. There is literally no reason for that. Also a badge until those picks are done would be totally enough. I don’t need to have my Notification Center littered with repeated make your pick posts. ✓ What happened to mini-leagues?Admittedly, I only ever play the English Premier League predictor. I’m not going to whine about the cash prize being reduced since the end of NBC’s involvement. But I enjoyed the mini-league feature of the previous era. Also, I understand the American convention to list Away Team vs Home Team for many sports, but as far as I know, this is never done in soccer. ✓ NBC doesn’t pay outDon’t ever expect to get any money you win. First off, you don’t get notified and you have to search yourself to see if you won. Then when you withdraw your money it says allow 7-10 days. 15 days later when you don’t have your money, you’ll reach out to support and they’ll give you some bogus number of days to wait. ✓ EhhSo the app is good, I complaints there. My issue is with the cash out only using PayPal. I mean this isn’t the early 2000s, there are many payment apps, but they choose to use the most hacked payment app of all time. Pay pal has leaked my account details twice, which is why I deleted it and will NEVER download it ever again. So how am I supposed to cash out my winnings? ✓ Non-responsive Amateur DesignIt is hard not to give 5 stars to an app that is free and legitimately gives a shot at winning money just for doing something fun. But come on, devs — the app design is completely non responsive to rotation or screen size. Run it on an iPad and it takes you back to 2009 with the only option being to make it full screen without anything like landscape view, better use of screen real estate, and so on. ✓ Scam, Dishonest appThe NBC Sports Predictor app asks you to predict which golfer will win this week’s tournament. They provide a list of golfers in the tournament for you to choose one. But they purposely list golfers who aren’t even playing in that tournament. They try to deceive you into picking a golfer that’s not even in the tournament. This practice is totally not allowed on all other sports betting apps. It’s an illegal practice. Unsurprisingly, I reached out to the people from the NBC Sports Predictor app, and they were no help at all. I finally received one generic response, in which they lied about the Official Rules, didn’t answer my question, and refused to help me.
