Super easy way to help someone outI happened across the Vizer app and downloaded it immediately. That was six days ago and I’ve already donated seven meals. All it took to begin this giving streak was sync my fitness tracker to the app and hit either 10k steps or 30 active minutes. Easy! The app works great and I love that my activity can help someone get a nourishing meal. Give it a try!.Version: 2021.41.0

Helping Others Through VizerThe Viser app provides an easy way, at no cost to you, to help communities in need by donating a meal on a daily basis. For a long time, prior to this app, I have been reaching the daily goal of 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of activity anyway. Finding out about the community benefits of this app while expending energy to stay healthy and at the same time help an individual receive the daily nourishment a lot of us take for granted is a WIN-WIN. No better feeling at the end of the day to hit the donate button knowing someone who is hungry will receive a much needed meal..Version: 2021.24.1

Exercise for not just yourselfI love VIZER! It is so easy to set up to pair with iPhone and Apple Watch. Now I have 2 reasons to exercise- my health and helping others! Also I love that it can be one or the other steps/heart rate so if I don’t get around to a heavy workout but I walked my 10,000 steps at work I still donate a meal! I try to share on my social media as much as possible because I want EVERYONE to use VIZER..Version: 9.0.1

Favorite App!!!This app is amazing - my favorite app I have on my phone. Every day that you walk 10,000 steps or workout for 30 minutes you can donate a meal to your local food bank! On days where I don’t want to move my body, this app is my motivation to get up and get my workout in because it will benefit someone else! Nothing bad to say about an app that makes helping others so easy!!.Version: 9.0.1

How to help others when you exercise!Vizer is an app that everyone should have on their device! It is simple to use and brings a lot of GOOD to people. Whenever you “exercise” for 30 minutes, the Vizer app syncs with your activity results and a meal is donated to Feed America. Win! Win! Vizer partners with socially responsible companies to assist with the meal donation. All you do is exercise and open the Vizer app. Vizer syncs your activity data and a meal is donated!.Version: 9.0.1

Amazing MissionThis app is amazing. For those of us who exercise regularly, it’s so easy! For people who want a little motivation to go just a bit farther, or one or two minutes more of exercise, knowing there will be a meal donated to someone in need makes all the difference. I can’t tell you how good it feels when I’m done exercising to hit that “donate a meal” button. I did something good for me, and something great for someone else!.Version: 14.1.0

Feeling good and doing goodLove this app. It’s sometimes that last little bit of motivation I need to get a workout in or just to make sure I complete my exercise goal for the day. Love that my workout is good for me but has added value in helping feed somebody in my community. On top of that, I get rewarded with treats from local vendors. It’s a win all around! Thank you for the work you do Vizer!.Version: 2021.16.0

Amazing appI joined a virtual 5k race during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the registration email was information about Vizer! Not knowing anything about it, I reviewed it and found that it links to my Fitbit (or other device) and monitors your movement. For a 10,000 step day goal and/or 30 minutes of activity, a meal is donated to help feed America! What an awesome motivation to get moving all while helping get fit, but helping feed others!!.Version: 6

Great cause + Awesome motivator!I love this concept so much that I got a fitbit specifically so that I could track my steps since I rarely have my phone on me! It’s not perfect, but what technology is? It’s amazing how much a little motivation goes a long way! My partner and I regularly end our days with a jog around the house to get our remaining steps when we’ve had slower days or our step tracking has gone awry. I appreciate that it’s easier to get all of my steps in when there is an added incentive for others! I’ve been telling everyone I know to use the app!.Version: 2021.16.0

Great Concept!I love the app’s purpose of bringing meals to those in needs by our physical activity. It’s a great incentive to get us moving. However, I wish we were able to sync our workouts past midnight and still have it count. I forget to sync Vizer before midnight so most my workouts go uncounted :( Also, would be cool if we could share the # of meals we’ve donated overall, in a week, and/or month in stead of just the day just for more variety :).Version: 11

So easy!Using this app couldn’t be easier. You connect your smart device and you’re done! Anyone who tracks their fitness should seriously download this app. It helps keep you motivated to close your rings or meet your goals by donating a meal to people in need. It’s truly a win win. Remember to check before bed and you’ll usually have a meal ready to donate waiting for you..Version: 7.0.3

Great program for the community and meVizer is an innovative app that allows me to be “awarded” for daily exercise while being rewarded by sponsoring meals through generous donors for hungry people in my community. It requires nothing more of me other than logging in so the Vizer system syncs with my health tracker each day. If I walk 10,000 steps or exercise 30 minutes, a meal is donated! It is motivating for me to get moving and I love seeing the daily total of meals donated! And at one time, when I had a problem with the site not syncing, I notified the developers and they fixed it within 48 hours. I wish everyone would sign onto Vizer!*.Version: 6

Good but could be greatI love the concept of Vizer and it pleases me, especially during the pandemic, to regularly help those experiencing food insecurity. The one criticism/suggestion I would make is that the app should sync to your exercise app without having to open Vizer. I’ve missed donating several times because I forgot to open the app or got diverted and didn’t sync. At minimum Vizer, which clearly can see your exercise data, should be able to look at your exercise history and ask if you wish to donate on days when you met your goals but haven’t yet donated..Version: 2021.16.0

VizerI started using this app for the month of November through Orange Theory Fitness! For every workout I do this month I can donate a meal through the app (& I work out A LOT) 🙌🏻 it feels so great to put my workout towards something other than letting off some steam. I’m going to keep using this app past the month of November and donate meals for those who need them. Great app & great concept..Version: 2021.41.0

Download and donate! It’s that EASY! I can’t think of a better way to motivate yourself to continue to live a healthy lifestyle by exercising 30 minutes per day or getting 10k steps and donating a meal to our local foodbank. I’ve been using this app since March after hearing about it through OTF. Seeing my meal donations add up, is positive reinforcement to keep moving! Looking forward to redeeming my food reward points too! Congrats on hitting over 175k meal donations! That’s a huge impact and needed during these trying times! Congrats on expanding your circle of influence nationwide too!.Version: 9.0.1

Good but fix notificationsI like the app generally, think the purpose and donation is great, and the notification I get asking whether I’ve met my goals and to remind me to donate if so is perfectly. But I hate that whenever I personally go to open the app because I DO already have 30 minutes or 10K steps, it then sends me a notification after the fact - “congrats on hitting X, open the app to donate”. And I get 1-2 of those in a row. It’s like, yes, I got it, that’s why I opened the app in the first place so why are you sending me these messages now? It’s a useless notification and pretty annoying. I use a Fitbit if that helps..Version: 2021.41.0

The best app everHonestly, everyone should seriously download this app. It’s 100% free (like not even paid upgrades) and just when you work out, you can donate a meal. And then when you donate a meal you get a reward that benefits YOU as well. So, to summarize, you help others and help yourself from working out 30 min or walking 10,000 steps FOR FREE. So download it and make everyone’s life better!.Version: 6

Great and easy way to give back!Would recommend this to any person with an Apple Watch or fitness tracking device. I mean, I’m going to be active throughout the day anyway, so might as well turn that into something positive for the community as well. Thank you Vizer for taking the time to put together such an easy to use app and for creating something innovative that makes such a difference!.Version: 9.0.1

Great idea! Still needs work thoughI’ve used this app for years, I’ve donated 320 meals so far. I’ve never redeemed any of my points (with COVID I didn’t feel comfortable using my points for free food/drinks, I’m happy using the app just so I can donate meals). Also, I ordered a lot of food online since restaurants were closed down for a while, so I wouldn’t know how to redeem my points online. I live in San Diego and love that the company originated out of here, so I love supporting them. The app itself looks cool but sometimes it stops working while it’s trying to gather my data for the day via my Apple Watch. I’d say this happens 30% of the time. What I would love is to be able to redeem points at fitness studios. (ex: 50 points gets you a class at orange theory). Love the idea of this app and recommend it!.Version: 2021.16.0

In principle 5 starsIt’s new and I think growing but love the idea of it. Would be super if you didn’t have to remember to login and it was just synced with your phone... guess that’s not how things work tho! Also would be great if it synced with more devices (garmin etc). Would also be great if there were bigger redemptions than it seems like a drink or pastry. However it does what it’s supposed to and works very well where it does..Version: 9.0.1

You better get this app!!!Honestly, I might be this apps biggest free advertiser. I cannot stop telling everyone I know to download it!! It’s super easy to use because once you’re connected, there’s nothing left for you to do other than press the “donate a meal” button. I don’t even care about not getting the rewards, I just love how easy Vizer has made it for every person to give back..Version: 9.0.1

BEST APP!!I have been using Vizer for a while now (almost 300 meals donated!) and I am obsessed! I tell everyone who will listen to download the app, I think it’s such an amazing concept that I truly believe in. I’m a nurse and most of us hit 10k steps on a normal work day so why not give back to our community in the process. I’ve been through many updates with Vizer and the app keeps getting better and better. The “current streak” feature always motivates me to get a workout in when I’m feeling lazy. My only suggestion is to broaden the places to redeem the points. It seems like most options are in north county and I live all the way in la Mesa so I always forget to use those points. But it always seems like they are adding new sponsors so I love that. Thanks vizer!.Version: 2021.33.0

AMAZING APPI have had the app for a couple months now. The idea behind the app is amazing! Who wouldn’t want to work out knowing that they can be donating a meal to someone in need!! That’s great. It also help to hold me accountable to my daily exercise time. It’s the best idea that anyone has come up with. Getting to notification that I’ve donated a meal just makes me feel so excited about doing well for the community and helping others..Version: 9.0.1

Everybody wins! How could you not love an app that encourages you to exercise/walk, and, when you move for 30 minutes or walk 10,000 steps, it has a meal donated to someone who needs it?!? You move, you feel good because you moved and you feel even better because someone who is hungry gets a meal because you moved! Everyone needs this app!!!.Version: 2021.9.0

Cool conceptI initially downloaded the app purely for the concept, which is unique and inspiring on its own. I feel so much better about my workouts knowing I’m also helping make a difference by donating a meal to those in need. I didn’t realize there was more to the app like getting rewarded by businesses as well. Unfortunately, there are no businesses in my area at all that are involved at this point, so I have been unable to test that part out. I am still using the app for the sole reason I downloaded it: to donate meals after a workout. I wish that the app could sync up to past workouts in case I forget to log onto the app that day and donate. I also hope they build more relationships with businesses all over..Version: 7.0.3

Such a great concept!Love this app and being able to give back to my community by simply working out. Who needs more motivation than that to get moving?! One feature that would be helpful is a push notification from the app when you’ve hit a goal asking if you want to donate. I’ve met my goal almost everyday since downloading the app, but I’ve definitely forgotten to date on a few occasions. A friendly reminder would be great!.Version: 6

ReviewI love this app. It is very easy to use and I like that I am able to serve others. I wish that one of the tracking options was for a Garmin device. I do not have an Apple Watch or a FitBit and find that the step tracking in my phone is not as accurate as my watch and my phone does not track when I have worked out for 30 minutes. But like I said earlier I love this app and will continue to use it..Version: 2021.20.0

Workout motivation and Helping othersI just learned about this company and my experience so far is fantastic. When a participant works out 30 minutes or 10,000 steps, a company donates a meal through Feeding America to someone in need. What a fabulous concept. I am so happy to participate and it has given me a little extra motivation to get my workouts in. I shared this with one of the trainers at the YNCA where I work out and she signed up and is going to share with her clients too. The company had reached out to me several times since I started and made me feel like part of a great community too. I highly recommend participating..Version: 2021.38.0

Good for you, good for the community!I downloaded this app because I was looking for an easy way to give back to the community and it’s perfect! After signing up for free, I stick my phone in my pocket and it does everything else. I feel really good about accomplishing my goal at the end of the day and having a meal donates has surprisingly been really motivating for me to take multiple long walks per day. Definitely get this app! You’ll feel like a better human at the end of each day..Version: 13

Great cause but looking forward to Garmin integrationI love doing this but it doesn’t sync well with my Garmin and the iPhone so I end up doing double what it required to donate. For example To get 10,000, today, I ran a 5k in the snow, went shopping and needed 30 minutes on an exercise bike. The 30 minutes doesn’t count. I needed a 10K run the first day to make the mark with this app. Which is all good because it makes me work harder to help someone in need..Version: 14.0.3

Motivated.... You bet! How about you?Have you been looking app that motivates you to get in shape, or just workout for 30 minutes everyday. Have you been looking for a way to donate meals to those in need? Well lucky for us the Vizer app does both. I absolutely LOVE that for every 30 minute workout I do or I get 10,000 steps in my day that a meal will be donated to those that are need of it. Thank you to Vizer app for making this possible and for me ready to get in shape. God Bless and lets “make hunger sweat”!.Version: 7.0.3

I Iove Vizer!A friend shared with me about the Vizer app because she knows I love to be active and walk. I try to reach at least 10,000 steps a day. Having the opportunity to do that and donate a meal fits right in with my mission in life, being a health and wellness advocate! So, of course, I jumped at the opportunity. It gives me the motivation to get my steps in and stay active everyday. I have shared with several people who also thought this was a great idea! Thank you, Vizer, for creating this! I love it!!.Version: 2021.28.0

Great App/Some improvements neededI love this app, especially great for my active lifestyle. I would really love to see a connection with Garmin since I have a watch and use that to track all of my exercises. My Garmin does connect to Apple Health, but always seems to glitch (steps are never accurate and 30 minutes workouts don’t convert under the same label). I have done multiple 30 minute runs, but don’t hit 10,000 steps so my activity is not counted. Yesterday I hit about 11,000 steps on my Garmin, but Apple Health only had 9,700 so I had to walk around my apt to hit the last 300. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise I am satisfied..Version: 7.0.3

BEST APP!I’ve been using the app for well over a month now, and it is so motivating to workout, because I know that once I finish, I will be able to help combat hunger in America! The app is so easy to use. The only thing I wish they had on the app was a reminder to notify you when you have an available meal to donate, because sometimes I forget to go into the app after a workout. Overall, I LOVE Vizer and highly recommend downloading it!.Version: 9.0.1

Awesome, wish previous days would syncLove this app and it has so much potential now that it is nationwide. Only thing I would change is that it would be helpful if you could sync exercise/steps from previous days, instead of having to log in every day. I often forget even though I made my 10k steps, and then I miss donating a meal! On the east coast so local rewards aren’t set up yet, but I’m already motivated for the philanthropic goal. This app has lots of potential!.Version: 6

Good conceptI think this is a great concept to do some good with activity most of us are likely already doing, and the app is straightforward in use. However, as others have said it would be cool to get more information about the donations like which food banks they’re going to. Also, every time I try to nominate my local gym to join as a partner in the app, the submit function never works. I start typing the name and it appears in the auto fill, but when I click on it it doesn’t work. I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed, or I need another way to suggest a gym. *Most recent update has you adding your city to find local partners, but it makes me do this every time I log into the app, and there is no way to exit this screen without making a selection. Also, like with trying to suggest a gym, the selection function doesn’t always work, so you’re stuck on that screen and unable to log..Version: 2021.38.0

Great cause but buggy appThe cause is spectacular! I love being able to donate meals after completing a workout. My only complaint is that the app is really buggy. Half the time I am unable to get in because the app immediately closes or freezes. I would also love to know how to setup a corporate challenge, but it’s not intuitive on how to go about doing that. Fix that and I would have zero issues..Version: 2021.9.0

Great Cause and good for me tooI don’t remember where I saw a note about Vizer, perhaps Huffington post or morning brew, newsletters I get each day via email. I am so glad I joined just a few days ago. I have gotten in more than 10,000 steps each of those days and has given away 11 meals in 11 days so far. There is absolutely no downside. If you need an incentive to walk 10,000 steps or more, the website will help you there. I did not need that incentive because I do it anyway. But being able to help provide food and especially critical need in the pandemic and with all the in equity. Makes me feel really good. So glad the app is available. I highly recommend it. My daughter joined right after me and I am putting it on my husband’s phone as well. Will tell all my friends about it too..Version: 6

Helps my community & holds me accountable!Vizer is such a simple addition to an active lifestyle. Even better, it costs you no money, just sweat! I love that you now have the option to either hit 10k steps or 30 active minutes a day to donate a meal. This app definitely holds me accountable with working out knowing that my workouts help feed people in my community. I’ve never redeemed my rewards but it’s so great to see small businesses in San Diego supporting this cause! The app itself is very straightforward, user friendly and has seamless integration with Apple Watch. I just wish there was some sort of daily push notification reminding me to log..Version: 9.0.1

SuggestionsFirst off I want to say that I love this app. It actually communicates with my Apple Watch with no known unexpected behaviors occurring. I love their mission to feed the hungry just by doing something I do everyday for free. With that being said I have two suggestions. 1. Accumulate the Apple Watch data so that we can go in the app days later and donate, just in case we forget that day . 2. Give us an option to donate to animal shelters . People love animals as much as humans , maybe even more lol! Animal shelters are in desperate need of food and supplies and this would be a great way to help them. Anyways these are my suggestion, keep up the great work :).Version: 2021.24.1

“No Brainer” way to give backI am enjoying using the Vizer App because it’s a “no brainer” way to give back. I’m already working out everyday, and tracking my progress on my Apple Watch watch. It only takes a few seconds to sync with my watch and donate a meal to someone who needs it. All by hitting 10, 000 steps or doing a 30 minute work out. The added bonus is that you feel good for working out and also giving back. You have an added incentive to hit those goals because you know someone else will benefit. It’s a win win!.Version: 2021.16.0

Great and huge potential!I love the mission behind the app and how the users know the partner company (Chobani for example) that is providing the meal to the food distributed (Feeding America for example). I would like to know more information about how this works and also more information about the background of Vizer. In terms of how the app functions, I would like to see a broader range of gyms you partner with. I live in a small town so I understand why my small gym doesn’t show up on your radar. I also don’t have a FitBit or Apple Watch so I’m using the app solely off my phone tracking steps which works well enough. However, I get 30 active minutes almost every day but I’m not able to donate a meal that much because the current range doesn’t accept my gym as a partner and tracking active minutes with my current platform isn’t feasible. All in all, I have the capability to be donating a lot more meals and I would love to do so! I would to see a way for your team to expand these options!.Version: 9.0.1

Vizer makes doing good things easyIf you’re already working out, this is a no-brainer. 30 minutes of tracked activity allows you to donate a meal to someone in need. If you aren’t working out yet, this may offer you just the motivation you need. All you need to do is track 30 minutes of activity, advisor allows you to donate a sponsored meal to someone in need. It doesn’t need to be running or walking, although 10,000 steps will automatically qualify you to donate that meal. It’s just 30 minutes of any tract activity via Apple Watch or other activity tracker..Version: 6

Give Back for doing what you normally do? No brainerLiterally the best app in the game!! The fact that I’m already moving my body, this just takes it to the next level of being able to feed someone one meal with every day I move!! If you don’t have this app yet, what are you waiting for?! Absolutely download it, and be constantly motivated to move!.Version: 13

Good karma motivation!Who doesn’t to do a little extra good in their community? Vizer makes it easy- one click and I can donate a meal locally, just by doing my regular workout at home. You can also get credit/donate a meal by walking 10,000 steps over the course of the day, if you’re not the workout type. For all of us who want to do some good in the world but don’t always have the time to volunteer, this is an easy yes..Version: 2021.33.0

Awesome App- Wish the Meal Donation felt more personalI love this app and this concept. I live in TX but not being able to qualify for the local rewards stuff still isn’t a problem for me. What I wish this app had was the ability to make you feel a little more connected to the meal you “donated”? Maybe additional information of how many meals were also donated that day would help? It would be cool to know what the meal was if that makes sense? It’s hard to remember to log my workouts because I’m still struggling to make the connection that by working out I am helping donate a meal. Anything that pulls back the curtains for us a little would be so meaningful. Regardless, I believe as this app grows in popularity it will have a lot more features. I’m excited to see the growth of this app..Version: 9.0.1
